Suzie's Gluten Free Baby Biscuits, 7 Ounce

Suzie's Gluten Free Baby Biscuits, 7 OunceI buy these at Whole Foods, but Amazon does have them for slightly cheaper.

I tasted one before giving it to my little one and I was pleasantly surprised at the taste! I now eat them as a treat for myself (I am also gluten-free). They taste like soft short-bread or even lady-fingers. They are delicious and my little one loves them too!

They are non-GMO too and are sweetened with fruit juice instead of corn syrup or other things like that.

I recommend these!!

Gave one to my 18 month old who got a rash and hives all over his face. He has a history of allergies so he's on a gluten free diet one of the Ingredients must have caused a reaction with him.

Carlson Tuffy Metal Expandable Pet Gate

Carlson Tuffy Metal Expandable Pet GateI got it for a 28" doorway. It just barely fit because there are standard settings on it. So it only snaps in place on it's pre-set settings. We had to wedge it in place. The pet door is covered up alittle, it leaves a 6" opening, fine for my cat, not sure if it would work for a small dog...

I have a new house with square walls. This gate would not square up so that all four pads touched the walls. The tightening screw device on it is made of some very brittle feeling plastic that I don't think will last long. There are better gates for the money available.

It's a great value for the money. easy to install. very sturdy. looks good, too. no fault of the gate, but I can't leave the small door open for my little dog because my big one (23 lb. cocker) found a way to squeeze through.

Easy to set up and use. Works just as advertised, keeps the dog out of the room the cat's food and litter box is kept in but lets the cat go in easily through the small pet door.

My 4 month old chihuahua puppies (under 3 pounds each) jump over it with ease! I tried the other Carlson gate that was taller, but the bars are wider so they fit through that!!

Earth's Best Training Pants 2T 3T, 29 Count

Earth's Best Training Pants 2T-3T, 29 CountEven though they seem so much like seventh generation, I just like these better. The sizing has worked better for my girls and I like that they have the pattern that fades/blurs to show if they are wet, because sometimes it is hard to tell. Honestly, I have only used these for naps and overnight as I do naked time and actual panties for training and my girls have day trained by 2. Can't say they never leaked overnight, but hardly ever. I like that I can find this smaller size readily at TRU, but the fact that I can now buy them on Amazon rocks! Thanks Earth's Best for wising up and offering this product somewhere else other than TRU since they can't seem to figure out how to stock them.

My son has extremely sensitive skin other diapers irritate him instantly. We used pampers sensitive diapers when he was a baby, but needed a pull up option now that he is potty training. These work great! they are a great fit, easy on and off, and do not irritate his sensitive skin! Would highly recommend!

She is learning about reusing and recycling, etc., and she is proud that we no longer use plastic bags. These are easy to handwash as well.

I prefer these to sandwich baggies! These are fabulous! Perfect for eating on the go too because you can keep a sandwich wrapped up mostly! These clean up very easily too!

The Deglingos Treasure Pouch

The Deglingos Treasure Pouch, Croakos The FrogI purchased Jambonos the Pig treasure pouch as a Christmas present this year, because we have the full size Milkos the Cow and Klukos the Hen and love them. The little girl who received it seemed as thrilled as I hoped she'd be (this may also have been because of the money she found inside!). The quality of the whole Deglingo line cannot be beat. They are made with soft corduroy and other eclectic fabrics, giving each a unique handmade feel. This adorable pouch is just the right size for spare change, folded bills and credit cards. Or keep other trinkets, like marbles, etc. I will buy these toys again and again as gifts and will continue to add to our own collection as well.

Happy Times Veggie Pals Individual, Carrot, Orange, Apple Chews, .7 oz., 5 Count Tray (Pack of 2)

Happy Times Veggie Pals Individual, Carrot, Orange, Apple Chews, .7 oz., 5 Count TrayMy twin boys love these and I like that they are a healthier snack option. We call them "treats" because they like them so much and that way we can keep them special. If you're looking for a better option for on-the-go snacks, these are great. We just open the pouch and hand it to the boys. I have twin 28 month old boys.

Cuisinart BW-10 Baby Bottle Warmer and Night Light

Cuisinart BW-10 Baby Bottle Warmer and Night LightThis is a great looking product and I was hopeful that despite the lack of ratings, this would be as good as most of my other Cuisinart kitchen products. Unfortunately, it's just okay and we only used it for about a week before switching to the Dr. Brown's warmer we received at our baby shower. The Cuisinart requires you to measure very small, precise amounts of water each time you use it in order to create a precise amount of steam for each bottle which is ok during the day, but really inconvenient in the middle of the night when you're wall-eyed and usually in darkness (there's a night light on the warmer which kind of seems like a consolation prize or an afterthought.) (The Dr. Brown's only requires a water refill every few days with constant use and is on a timer system with a beeper which makes it really convenient and easy, even in the middle of the night.)

In addition, the Cuisinart started making a burning sugar smell within days of its first use, probably because the warming mechanism is exposed underneath the basket in which the bottle sits and tiny amounts of formula might have gotten in there somehow. Oh, if only Cuisinart had put the same amount of thoughtful design into this product as they do into most of their others. I really wanted to like it but unfortunately, not so much.

I was exclusively breast feeding but when I returned to work I needed my baby to take pumped breast milk from a bottle and the temperature has to be just right or he wouldn't take it! I decided to purchase the cuisinart bottle warmer and it has worked great! Before we bought the warmer we were trying to heat the milk in a bowl of hot water and it took way too long! You do have to measure the amount of water you put into the warmer each time (in mL) but it comes with a convenient measuring cup that sits right in the top of the warmer so it's very easy to do. The more water you put in the hotter it warms the bottle so when I first got the warmer I tested it out using bottles filled with water that had been refrigerated to find out exactly how much water we needed to add each time. It does come with a chart telling you how much to add (depending on bottle size and how many oz are in the bottle) but as you can imagine there is some variation. Once we figured out the amount of water required it has warmed the bottles well every time. It takes less than 2 min to warm it. I have had multiple family members take care of my baby during the day and everyone has found it easy to use. I still breast feed in the evening and at night so I can't comment on how difficult it is to use in a sleep stupor. Overall I am very satisified with the Cuisinart bottle warmer and I actually plan on buying a 2nd one to take to our nanny's house so that she has one on hand.

The First Years Deluxe Reclining Feeding Seat

The First Years Deluxe Reclining Feeding Seat, AnimalsWe have the original version of this chair (which amazon sells for $27.99) and love it. The only reason we decided to buy this deluxe version is because we wanted a 5-pt harness for added safety.

Two things I do NOT like about this chair: (1) Seems to be smaller in size. We put our 17 lb. son in it and it looks like he will outgrow it before long. I compared it to our original version and the seat back is indeed more narrow. (2) The tray is more difficult to attach as compared to the original version. The plastic also seems to be flimsy where it attaches to the seat.

The only positive about this chair is that the type of fabric on the seat cushions will be easier to clean. This is not enough of a reason for us to keep the chair, however, so we will be returning it.

I recently purchased the Fisher-Price Healthy Care Deluxe Booster Seat (for $26 dollars from Amazon). The same weekend, my mother purchased The First Years Deluxe Reclining Feeding Seat for $39.99 from Target. This is my comparison of the two chairs.

The Fisher-Price chair (I bought the red/white version) was VERY easy to assemble. I didn't need to read directions. I just put it together very quickly and logically. (Whew, that was easy!) The straps came attached to the chair. It seems secure and it is very easy to clean. There are no nooks and crannies! The tray has a lid, which is pretty cool. You can actually take the food tray off, put the lid on it, and put it in the refrigerator! (Cool!) My 18 lb 7 month old seems to like the chair. Plus, the price was very nice!

The First Years Deluxe Seat was not easy to put together. I had to refer to the directions. It took me a good 20 minutes. The directions were a bit confusing too (and I like to think that I'm pretty smart!). The straps had to be threaded through some little holes on the chair to attach them. They didn't seem very secure. A small child could easily remove them, maybe even a toddler. After it was all together, it seemed like it was going to be ok. It secured to the chair and seems pretty easy to clean (but not as easy as the Fisher-Price chair). It does recline, but this isn't a feature that I need as my son sits up very well on his own and won't lay back in the chair. He seems comfy in the chair. It has a 5 point harness, but I felt like it was a bit of overkill. I don't plan on leaving him in the chair unsupervised.

For my use, the Fisher Price chair is a much better deal. It is easier to put together and clean and has some features that I like.

My son is a very big 9 month-old. He's the size of an 18 month-old! This chair is sturdy enough for him, but I'm not terribly happy with the strength of the plastic and the type of tray that it has. Eventually, he's going to learn how to unclip the tray. He's already pulling at it and he's very strong!

Pros to this seat:

Straps Straps aplenty and I love them! They feel a tad cheap and they're white, so they're already stained.

Recline feature My son loves this an it makes him a bit more comfortable and he's more patient with being in the chair!

Cons:

Strength The plastic seems a bit flimsy.

Seat "padding" It seems easy to clean, but it's very thin and seems cheap.

Overall, I would opt for something a bit more expensive, i.e. sturdy! This was on sale at my local Target, so I'm not too unhappy with the purchase overall. It's great for him to be seated safely on the floor and pay with some toys! :)

Very happpy with the product and its performance. Light weight, very portable, easy to clean. I love that it can tilt back or sit straight up with ease. Only con about it is the tray is not very easy to lock into place, which can be a challenge when struggling with a six month old who is fighting you for his food.

I found that this high chair is great for an infant baby to toddler especially feeding baby and then being able to change to a booster seat. Tray is eas to remove or put on. The straps are easily adjustable and great for a girl or boy. Worth every penny

Baby Tracker ® - Daily Childcare Schedule Recordkeeper (1 Year Binder - Refillable)

Baby Tracker ® - Daily Childcare Schedule RecordkeeperI found the product description for this item to be ambiguous on both Amazon and the company's own website. I wrote to the company requesting clarification on exactly what type of pages were included in this item, and after waiting a week with no response, decided to just order and see for myself. This tracker will be going back for several reasons.

First the binder is really bulky. The cover is a squishy, soft, and wipe-able material, but it is really bulky. The binder is heavy too. I cannot see carrying this around in my diaper bag (which is something you'd want to be able to do with a tracker like this). Sure, you could take out a few pages to bring along instead . . . but then why not just find a free tracking page online and print a bunch if you're going to do that? The whole point of a binder is having it together and neatly organized and secure, and this binder is just not easily portable.

Second The binder doesn't lay flat. This could be a major issue if you're wanting to hold your baby in one arm and write with the other.

Third The included pages are not what I wanted. I was hoping it would have one package of the newborn, 24-hour tracking pages, and one package of the baby, daytime only tracking pages. Instead it has 2 packs of pages, good for 6 months each (total of 12 months tracking), but they are *both* the baby, daytime only tracking. They aren't even 12 hours either they span 8AM to 6PM. As a first time mother, and a bit of an organizational freak, I was hoping for pages that would be at least 6AM to 6PM. I've spent enough time around other people's kids to know babies, even older babies, wake up early, then want a nap, then wake up again, etc. Sure, you could write in a different wake up time than 8AM, but why? The pages could clearly fit at least a 12 hour span if formatted properly. It would also be nice if the baby tracking pages had a bit of space for writing nighttime issues, in case your older baby isn't sleeping through the night yet, and you want to track when he/she wakes up to see if you notice a pattern or issue. More importantly, as a first time mom and wanting to use this with my newborn, I *really* wanted to have at least one package of the 24-hour newborn pages for this binder! Since those weren't included, I'd have to shell out more cash to go buy the refill pack on the company's own website, since, for some reason, they aren't available on Amazon.

Fourth and probably the smallest of my complaints, I'm not impressed with having asked the company questions about this product and then getting no response. That deters me from wanting to order their products, and especially order directly from them. Luckily I purchased this item from Amazon so I know there will no issues with returning it.

That being said, I also purchased the spiral bound, newborn, 24-hour tracker book from this same company. I looked through it and am quite pleased with it for use when my little guy arrives. I checked out a bunch of different tracking books before purchase and most of them are just blank charts. You have to fill in everything, including times of day. It seems like a little thing but in a sleep deprived fog I do not want to have to think about writing in times. I want to just glance at a clock, notice it's around 8AM, and grab the log to track in the 8AM box. This company's products have the times all charted out already you can just draw arrows for things like naps, how long a feeding took, how long you were active, and then there is space for notes about what you did during that period. I really like how all of that is neatly organized out for me already. The 24-hour pages are perfect for newborn and younger baby tracking too. And best of all, the spiral bound book lays flat and will easily fit in a diaper bag.

I will be sticking to the spiral bound trackers from this company.

This is a great product to use for a nanny or babysitter that is with your baby all day. I love it.

Earth's Best Organic 2nd, 4 Ounce Jars (Pack of 12)

Earth's Best Organic 2nd, Sweet Potato and Chicken Dinner, 4-Ounce JarsBoth our twins love this one right from the start but it's not loaded with lentils (see ingredients below). We introduced it when they were 7 months old and now they're 10 months. I'm glad they are eating something green because we couldn't get them to eat the one with peas when we tried at 7 months, but we got them to eat the peas later at 9 months.

Their favorite vegetable is sweet potato and we've also tried sweet potato with cinnamon. They love all the fruit varieties.

I'm glad they love this one because lentils and brown rice form a complete protein, although a view of the ingredients shows that lentils is not one of the prime ingredients.

This one also has carrots and I've heard all babies like carrots. I don't know if they would like it without the carrots. I haven't seen this one lentils and brown rice in our local stores, so I'm glad to get it here. Along with some others, we get this one with the subscription. Of course, with twins one is forced to buy more in bulk and we're so busy that it's great to get these delivered.

The packaging is excellent. I've ordered an unbelievable number of cases of jars of different types and only had one jar arrive broken.

Ingredients per label: Water, organic apples, organic carrots, organic brown rice, organic lentils, organic canola oil.

This has 70 calories, 10% protein, 100% vitamin A, 4% vitamin C, 2% calcium and 4% iron.

I'm informed that the daily intake percentage is based on an adult.

My twin 10-month old babies treat this one as dessert. Their first Earth's Best jar they loved was straight sweet potatoes. After water, sweet potatoes are the first ingredient in this one, followed by apricot puree. That's dessert for them right there. After that comes the chicken and then brown rice flour (not as good as brown rice though).

This is a meal that babies around the age of mine are probably almost all going to love instantly. Almost all babies love sweet potatoes for starters. Add apricot puree and there's really not much one could do to discourage babies after that. I recommend this flavor brand.

Ingredients per label: Water, organic sweet potatoes, organic apricot puree, mechanically separated organic chicken, organic brown rice flour.

The rice flour absorbed the water and gave it a real nice consistency, and the sweet potatoes gave it a nice color.

Nutrition per label: 80 calories, 15% protein, 90% vitamin A, 2% vitamin C, 2% calcium and 6% iron.

This one had the most vitamin A of all Earth's Best jars I've tried. I've been informed that the percentage of daily needs met is based on an adult.

I liked getting this one for my twin 10-month olds because it has such interesting ingredients, particularly the zucchini and the garbanzo beans. I like the fact that it's vegetarian yet I believe it has a complete protein since it also has brown rice. This list of ingredients looks excellent and it's a green color naturally.

The babies liked it. They have liked everything that has carrots.

I have the subscription for this one as I really like the ingredients and the fact that I'm giving the babies food that is naturally green.

Ingredients per the label: Water, organic corn, organic zucchini, organic green beans, organic brown rice, organic carrots, organic garbanzo beans, organic canola oil.

This has 70 calories, 8% protein, 40% vitamin A, 10% vitamin C, 2% calcium and 2% iron. I've been informed that the percentage of daily needs met is based on an adult.

Baby loved this one, but as he has progressed I had to cut this one out because it is too runny and if I have to move the spoon quickly out of the way of his grabby hands, it is all over! I think they could use a little less water maybe a little more potato to make it more the consistency of the turkey dinner one.

Want Earth's Best Organic 2nd, 4 Ounce Jars (Pack of 12) Discount?

Earth's Best Turkey Vegetable Dinner hits the spot with apples with turkey. You can add cranberries if you want to take it to the next level. I just can't find non-sweetened and non-dried cranberries even at the better food stores.

Apples, carrots and turkey taste good to my 10-month old growing twin girls. Babies love carrots since they're sweet to their taste, so that made a great addition. The whole barley flour absorbs the water to give it an acceptable consistency.

The ingredients per the label: Water, organic apples, organic carrots, mechanically separated organic turkey, organic whole barley flour.

In addition to 12% protein and 50% vitamin A, it has 6% calcium and 4% iron.

I'm very pleased my babies like this food and are being introduced to so many foods through Earth's Best. I've been informed that the percentage of daily needs met is based on an adult.

Nuby 9 Piece Fork and Spoon Travel Set

Nuby 9 Piece Fork and Spoon Travel Set, Colors May VaryThese are TODDLER size, not infant size. I own a toddler, so it's okay for me, but they are still a little chunkier and harder to hold than the "disposable" ware we get in the baby aisle at Target and Kroger. I do love the convenient carry case that keeps them together and clean in the diaper bag and can refill it with the more slender, toddler-friendly table ware from home.

I looked for spoons that I could take everywhere and didnt had to wrap on a napkin (annoying) and found this. Read some reviews before buying it and I agree that one doesn't fit ...instead of placing the 8 of them, only 7 fit but that's not an issue as I dont use all in one day so I just leave one outside for next time. Nice colors. Will definitely recommend.

Buy Nuby 9 Piece Fork and Spoon Travel Set Now

This product is being bosted as a travel set but just like the other reviews state, you can't even fit all the utensils into the container. I had to take 2 out & still had trouble getting the lid on. Simple fix would be to just make the case a little bigger, I mean who at Nuby was able to make this work? I tried fitting them all in several different ways & none worked. Some have said they don't really need them all to fit but I bought this to use on vacation & it would be nice to be able to keep them all together so none get lost. I've not noticed problems with other Nuby products but this one is off for the purpose they are advertising it for.

Read Best Reviews of Nuby 9 Piece Fork and Spoon Travel Set Here

Not surprised at all that this item is now only $0.25. I'm honestly astonished at the other reviews that said they could fit 6, maybe 7 utensils in, since I could only cram 4 in. The utensils are weirdly curved, the actual scoop part of the spoon makes scooping difficult, and the fork's tines aren't conducive to actually spearing anything. The case is difficult to open also. I tossed the spoons and forks and used different utensils, but I'm seriously considering ditching the case too.

Want Nuby 9 Piece Fork and Spoon Travel Set Discount?

We have several travel cases for toddler utensils this case, and the utensils, are my least favorite. The tines on the fork are so wide that my 15-month-old can't stab anything with it. She does like the spoons. Because the handles on these utensils are a bit longer than most toddler utensils, it makes it easy for her to grab the handle of the spoon while I help guide the spoon to her mouth. The case is large and takes up too much space in our diaper bag, so we haven't used it outside our house. Like other reviewers, I could only get 6 of the 8 utensils in the case at the same time. For just a few dollars, the price is right since we use only the 4 spoons. I would trash the forks and find another use for the case. I would not recommend this product to a friend.
