Suzie's Gluten Free Baby Biscuits, 7 Ounce

Suzie's Gluten Free Baby Biscuits, 7 OunceI buy these at Whole Foods, but Amazon does have them for slightly cheaper.

I tasted one before giving it to my little one and I was pleasantly surprised at the taste! I now eat them as a treat for myself (I am also gluten-free). They taste like soft short-bread or even lady-fingers. They are delicious and my little one loves them too!

They are non-GMO too and are sweetened with fruit juice instead of corn syrup or other things like that.

I recommend these!!

Gave one to my 18 month old who got a rash and hives all over his face. He has a history of allergies so he's on a gluten free diet one of the Ingredients must have caused a reaction with him.

Reusable Cloth Snack Bag - Green Stripe

Reusable Cloth Snack Bag - Green StripeI have these bags in different colors and the sandwich size too. I like how they are dishwasher safe (top rack, inside out). They do not stain and my sons love them too. I get asked about them all the time and they last a long time.

First, this bag is tiny. I read the dimensions before buying and it's smaller. Also it's not flexible at all. I was only able to fit a handful of goldfish crackers in the bag without having to crush them trying to close it. WAY overpriced for what you get. Save your money and just make your own.

I have a two year old and this is perfect for her snacks. I am tired of using plastic bags all of the time. It's easy to wipe down, she can undo the velcro by herself, and I love the modern print. Perfect snack size.

NUK Ready to Feed Baby Bottle Warmer, Single Pack

NUK Ready to Feed Baby Bottle Warmer, Single PackI did not register for this, and didn't even think I would use a bottle warmer, but this guy showed up in my mail from a friend one day. The first time I dragged it out to use it, I never put it away! If you're looking for a dummy-proof way to heat a bottle, this is it. There is an insert that tells you how much water to put in the basin of the warmer (it heats via steam) per ounces of milk/formula you are heating, and once the bottle warmer shuts off, the bottle is done. It usually takes about 3 minutes or less for perfect bottles every time. A couple of tips though take the nipple and cap off your bottle when heating it. I just set the bottle cap over the top of the open bottle to trap the steam while heating the bottle. Also, the basin will rust with use, so just brush it out with clean water and a dish brush (takes about 20 seconds) about once a week and it's good as new.

I use this thing so much that even when visiting family and friends, I bring this with me. Trust me when you have a 5-month old screamer on your hip, you do not have time to be boiling or microwaving water to heat a bottle, and then waiting for it to get warm. You want something quick, and this warmer does the trick, perfectly, every single time. THUMBS UP.

I was little skecptical to purchase this after reading all the mixed reviews, but I am glad I bought this. I first bought the first years bottle warmer with cooler and It took around 4 minutes to warm a 4oz bottle from room temp. But with NUK it takes only 90 sec to warm the same bottle.As with any bottle warmer, swirl the milk in the bottle a little bit before giving it to the baby. Also it is well made and not bulky.

I initially liked this bottle warmerit was a simple design without a lot of bells and whistles. We used it less that two weeks and the bottom rusted and the leftover water in the bottom turned brown and stinky after each use. We ended up returning it and using another brand's bottle warmer (The First Years).

I am dissapointed in that it does not allow you to heat less than 4 oz. Also, the top of the bottle gets very hot. I am still having to heat the bottle additionally under warm water, so it is not as advertised.

Consistent heating always. A 10 oz bottle heat up in less than 2 minutes all the time.

NeneSupply 2 Count Tubing for Medela Swing Breast Pump, BPA FreeIt fits my Swing pump perfectly. It does not look exactly like Medela's, but it works! The tubing is longer than Medela's so I don't have to bend down to get closer to my pump. I got a pair, and it's so much cheaper. Will buy from the seller again.

fits the swing pump, but i think because it's longer it weakens the strength of the pump... but it does give you a little more room from the pump itself.

Skip Hop Chow

Skip Hop Chow - PoppyCute item! I love the red color, and fun, modern look. I also bought the matching bottle drying rack (Skip Hop Splash), which is probably a little more practical. Still, they are fun additions to my kitchen! They keep things nice and organized, and still look cool!

Not exactly cheap, and I guess a baby jar organizer is not exactly a big necessity, so that could be a con.

But it is very funky and hip! : )

It's a great organizer. We use PRK Products' jar organizers in the pantry and this with Boon's pouch rack on the counter tops. It's a great way to plan out a few days worth of food varieties for the baby. That way you don't have to remember, 'Did he have his green and orange veggie today?' or 'Did we already do peaches this week?' It keeps the pantry from getting messed up by husbands too. :) It fits nicely on short shelves and we keep it next to the wine rack that holds the empty baby bottles and the Oggi stainless steel containers that hold the different baby cereals (I don't like the cereals in the boxes because they make too much of a mess). It's a great baby buy.

We have a very small kitchen in our small two bedroom apartment, so space is always at a premium. The first time I came home with 30+ baby food jars and tried to stuff them into the small cabinet that I had set aside for baby items, I was stunned at how much space all those jars took up! This product has a very small "footprint" on my counter top and holds 12 jars of food. It literally freed up an entire shelf of my cabinet.

Can't live without this one if you have a small kitchen and a hungry baby!

All of my baby food jars had been scattered on the shelf in a big mess until I got this. It is great because it frees up more space on the shelf and looks so cute out on the counter. Each level spins so that you can find a specific jar fast. I would buy this again! Cute! Functional! Perfect!

UPPAbaby 2013 G-Luxe Stroller

UPPAbaby 2013 G-Luxe Stroller, Jake BlackN.B.: don't forget to read the update in the end of this review!

This umbrella stroller is only 11 lbs (on their website, Uppababy talks about a true weight (including canopy, wheels and basket) of 13.4 lbs), which makes it one of the lightest reclining umbrella strollers on the market. I just bought this stroller in a store and was able to compare it to its 2012 version.

The main differences between the 2013 and the 2012 version are:

The 2013 has an easier recline (the 2012 version has a drawstring, the 2013 has a very handy little handle, it works so well!);

The 2013 has two changes in color: they added the magenta color (before, only the Uppababy G lite was available in this color), and the black one is all black now instead of a combination of white and black. Plus, the black one's frame is black as well, whereas the 2012 model has an aluminum colored frame;

The 2013 has an easier fold;

The 2013 has an easier fold of the seat pad end (you can fold it down, straight or even a little bit up, which makes it great for smaller toddlers as well);

The 2013 harness lock looks a bit nicer.

What I like about this stroller is:

The design and material: it looks modern and the seat cover is removable and washable;

Its light weight;

Its easy fold: you lift a little hook on both sides of the stroller while pushing a little button, and voila, you can push it forward and it automatically locks. You can even make it stand while folded and it will not fall.

The canopy is very large compared to other lightweight umbrella strollers. It has a little extra fold-out addition that has a silver color;

The handles are high, so it is great for average height and taller parents;

The basket is easily accessible and large for an umbrella stroller;

The wheels have suspension, so it makes the ride comfortable for my daughter;

Easy steering;

5-Point harness that my daughter cannot unlock without my help;

The seat pad is thick and comfortable for our daughter. Compared to other strollers in the store, this was by far the most comfortable;

It has a shoulder strap so you can easily carry it.

What I like less about the stroller is:

The canopy's extension comes relatively close to my toddler's face when folded out. No major issue, though, as the benefits of a large canopy far outweigh this minor negative issue;

It does not have a full recline, so this is only good for babies 6 months and older. However, it does have a pretty good recline for older babies to sleep;

Sometimes the suspension of one of the front wheels appears to go "crazy": it keeps on bouncing the wheel up and down a little, for a couple of seconds. Nothing major, and our toddler does not seem to notice (I do, though!), but I had expected this to be a perfect light weight umbrella stroller because of its price;

No peek-a-boo window in the canopy;

The seat is not very deep. That is, compared to our Baby Jogger City Mini. Of course you cannot really compare these two strollers as this one is a light weight umbrella stroller and the Baby Jogger is a full-size lightweight stroller, but I do wonder till what age our toddler will be able to really sit well on this seat;

Although my daughter likes this stroller, she prefers our Baby Jogger City Mini. I think that is because it is sturdier, she can climb into it, and it has more space for her, both in width and in depth. We bought this Uppababy, however, for its ease of use in public transport and at the airport: the City Mini is just not very practical in these situations because it is less compact when folded, and heavier;

Apart from a cup holder, it does not come with any accessories like a rain cover. For the price of $219 for a lightweight umbrella stroller (or $229, as we have the black "special edition" version), Uppababy is not very generous to its customers here.

As the negative issues above are much less important to me than the positive ones, I am very pleased with this stroller.

I just bought the stroller today, so I cannot say anything yet about its durability. I will update this review as soon as I can say more about that.

UPDATE (April 7, 2013):

We have used this stroller for a few months now, including some intensive use during our trip to Europe (public transport, parks, etc.).

I still like this stroller for the reasons above. The issue with the wheels that I mentioned, and that others are also talking about, seems to have disappeared. I got the impression that it occurred when I would lean a bit more on it while pushing. Maybe subconsciously I adjusted this while using this stroller more. Also, this stroller was great for use in public transport, which we did in Europe: it folds easily, does not take a lot of space, and is not heavy. And the canopy extension is not only useful during Summer, our toddler wanted it extended as protection against the wind and the cold in the Winter.

However, I did take two stars off my initial review: it is great that this stroller is so lightweight, but it makes it feel a bit flimsy. Also, why didn't Uppababy make the brake system a manual one, or at least adjust this one so when you take it up or down a stairs or curb (with, but also without a child in it!), the breaks don't hit the stairs/curb? Going off a curb in order to cross the street should not be difficult to do with a stroller, should it? My major complaint, however, is the size of the seat: my 2 year old always tells me "sit better" when she goes into it or when I put her in it. By that, she means that she really has to do her best to make herself comfortable in the stroller. Apart from the seat not being very wide, it is not deep enough. As the measurements of the depth of the seat are similar to many other umbrella strollers, there must be something in the construction of this one that makes it feel much less deep than other ones (maybe the seat material (very slippery) and the angle of the seat?). Why make it possible to carry a child till 50 lbs in it, if a child that weight will have outgrown the stroller years earlier? Why not make the seat deeper or construct the stroller in such a way that it feels deeper than it is? Even 30 dollar strollers are often practically deeper than this one! For our toddler, I don't think she'll be able to sit in this past the age of 2.5....

I wish I had just purchased this from the beginning. I have a graco travel system which is great, but HEAVY and takes up a lot of room. I'm a first time mom and I didn't know what to buy/register for. Reasons I love the UppaBaby 2013 G-Lux stroller:

PROS

(1) It travel/transport friendlylight weight, has a travel strap, and can stand upright by it's self. (think airport, rainy day, bus stop, hurricane evacuation/anytime, small living spaces, or when your kid just wants you to hold him and you have to hold and push himnope just collapse and carry with the strap!)

(2) I love motherhood, I hate "assembly required". To get this baby up and rolling, all I had to do was securely attached to wheels by sliding them on and slide on the umbrella canopy. No tools needed.

(3) The seat reclines far enough for comfortable naps

(4) High weight max

(5) leg rest adjustable

CONS

(1) Opening (sort of..) to open this stroller you have to step on a special pedal with your right foot. The pedal is kind of high..if you're a parent or caretaker with knee, hip, or balance issues this might be a significant problem. Otherwise, its simple and easy to open.

(2) The storage area is limitedthis may or may not bother you. I'm okay with it. Just prior to buying it I started lightening my travel load. I keep a large fully stocked diaper bag in my car and keep a small purse/diaper bag with 1-2 bottles, 3-4 diapers and supplies, and a toy which easily fits in this stroller. Tip: I purchased a few wrist rattles. They fasten on to your kid with velcro. I fasten these to the stroller itself that way I never forget to pack a toy and its something my kid can't drop. I also keep a light cotton blanket in the storage area at all times (in case its cooler than I realized or there is too much sun on my kids legs).

APRIL 7, 2013: The suspension on the front wheels becomes unstable and wobbles at any speed above slow. I've determined the issue is with the actual wheel assembly which is detachable. It appears the issue is because the way UB attempted to build the suspension into the wheel axle housing...there's a reason nobody else does this. I have found a modification that may be helpful. By inserting a firm foam into suspension channel on both sides of the axle you can effectively reduce the wobble. The wobble will also go away for children over approx ~25lbs. I got this stroller yesterday (Saturday) and will be calling UB first thing on Monday morning. Its unacceptable, the reviews are coming in, and customers are complaining. They need to replace the front wheel system and face the facts.

But hey, everything else about the stroller is top notch (weight, folding, etc.).

UPDATE APRIL 8, 2013: UB has identified an issues with the front wheels on a certain batch of strollers shipped in early 2013. They are offering a free replacement for the wheels and will overnight them to you for free. I talked to them this morning and a new set will be here tomorrow.

I bought this stroller with a trip to London next year in mind, but I bought it early to get use out of it before the trip. So, I can't speak yet how it will be on planes, etc., but just from walking around with it every day with my 14 month old daughter for the last month, here is my list of pros/cons:

PROS:

the sunshade is great by umbrella stroller standards. The sun is always off her face (thought not usually the rest of her, depending on the angle).

The freestanding while folded feature is nice. I wouldn't say it's particularly sturdy while standing; I wouldn't let my kid hang onto it or anything, but it's handy in a restaurant.

The carrying strap. I love that I can just sling it over my shoulder (although the wheels stick out really far, so you have to be super careful you're not slinging it into anyone or thing, because it would do some damage).

Pretty smooth ride.

It's relatively light for all the features.

The front clasp takes some practice to get it quickly put together (my mom still gets annoyed with it), but I'm listing it as a pro because my kid won't be able to get it apart herself anytime soon.

It reclines really far, and is easy to recline. In theory she should be able to nap in it. Whether that will actually happen is another matter. It reclines back into a fabric backing, so she seems protected and cozy.

The seat material seems really comfy.

The parent cupholder actually seems pretty sturdy for an umbrella stroller. In fact, it seems more sturdy than the one on my big Britax.

CONS:

No window in the top or back of the shade to see her.

My daughter always seems a bit slouched in this stroller, like the seat isn't deep enough. And it's not because she's too big or anything like that, she's a fairly tall and thin kid.

Maybe I haven't had the stroller long enough for it to loosen up a bit, but it is seriously frustrating to get it folded up. Unfolding is fine, but I've literally wrestled with it before for 20 minutes trying to get it folded down. There's a scene in that show Up All Night where Christina Applegate's character and another mom beat a stroller to heck because they can't get it folded up. I never understood that scene until I got this stroller (and this kid has, between all grandparents' houses, jogging, full size, etc. strollers, a total of 5 strollers). But, on a totally unrelated note, the stroller is good quality and can take a bit of a beating.

It doesn't include any kind of parent console. I added a $10 one so it wasn't a big deal, but it would've been nicer if one was included.

Overall, I'm not unhappy with the stroller (unless you asked me when I'm late for something and having a hard time getting the stroller folded up. If you asked me then, I'd tell you the devil invented it to ruin my life. But I tend to get a bit hyperbolic when I'm stressed out, so you'd probably just write me off as a crazy person anyway). I'm honestly not sure if I'd buy it again over the MacLaren Techno, which was the other stroller we were looking at (we had a coupon that only worked with the MacLarens, so while it looks like there's a huge price difference, at the time we bought it there was only about a $50 difference between the two). But, I don't get to go back and make that choice again, so this is the stroller we have, for better or worse, and I'm ok with that. Just don't ask me to fold it.

UPDATE: Another few months on, it's still annoying to fold, but slightly less so. And, my daughter took a 2 hour nap in it one day! I got to walk around a museum and eat an entire meal at a nice restaurant while she slept soundly beside me. I'm feeling slightly more positive about the stroller in general.

Want UPPAbaby 2013 G-Luxe Stroller Discount?

I have the UPPAbaby G-Luxe from 2011 I live in NYC and walk EVERYWHERE. It is the best stroller. It is light for places I have to fold it up, and when I get home. The recline feature is so useful for us, because my son sleeps in the stroller all the time! And their customer service in all honesty could not be better! They are kind, quick, understanding, and most of all they want to help! The only complaint that I have heard which I can agree with is the breaks stick out so that you can't pull it up stairs. It is so light that I just carry it, so it has been fine for me!

Boon Orb Bottle Warmer,Green

Boon Orb Bottle Warmer,GreenWith a newborn, having a bottle warmer is essential. Purchased several other bottle warmers and had to return them, because they did not have the auto shut off function, which is especially dangerous in the wee hours of the morning if you forget to switch off or unplug.

Unlike other bottle warmers, the Boon warmer steams the bottle, rather than boils it. You end up using less water and the bottle gets warmed up quick.

The only setback is that the you have to be careful grabbing the bottle out because the steam is really hot. Happy with my purchase so far, but hope the product holds up. Will update in the future.

I like how fast this bottle warmer is, but to use it you have to fill the water each time. Not only do you have to fill it each time but you have to carefully measure the water that you add to the machine. When you baby is crying because he/she is hungry and you have to hold the baby while you prepare the bottle it is not ideal to waste time measuring and pouring water just to warm a bottle. Also if the bottle isn't warm enough after the first time around, you have to wait 10 minutes before using it again (while your baby is crying even louder now). So, no I would not recomment this item.

definitely worth the $25 i paid (on amazon last month). it only takes a few minutes and heats up bottles to not much warmer than room temperature, but that is fine for us. it does have an auto shut-off, but if you leave the bottle in the warmer it will get too hot.

Gerber Good Start Soothe Powder, Canister, 23.2 Ounce

Gerber Good Start Soothe Powder, Canister, 23.2 OunceWe have tried all the brands and just about gave up to think a formula could help. We have tried other brands with the purple label with no luck. Our daughter was very fussy, and spit up a lot. She cried a lot and did not sleep well. About 25% of her diet was breast milk and the other was formula, we mix it together. When she started this formula, we instantly knew this would be the one. Within a couple of weeks of Soothe she adapted to it even better. We know we are going to continue to buy this so its best we buy the 23.2 ounce container because you do save some money. Our local stores stay sold out of this size. Our daughter was born on 12-31-2012 and could not be any happier, this is her pick and I recommend this if your baby is having a hard time accepting other formulas.

When i purchased this item it read "Gerber Good Start Soothe Powder, Canister, 4 Count, 23.2 Ounce", which led me to believe that you were receiving 4 of the 23.2 ounce containers. I purchased 2 thinking i would be getting 8 canister for a great deal, but when the shipment arrived it only contained 2 canisters.

I see now that the description does not include "4 count", which disappoints me because i never would have purchased this if I knew that it was for only 1 canister. False advertising. :(

My baby girl is 6 weeks old now and I was not able to breast feed due to my milk not coming in. I wanted to give her the best formula I could find, even if it meant spending a little extra. I love this formula because of the ingredients (first ingredient is whey protein! NOT corn syrup like Enfamil Gentlease). It also isn't foamy, at least in the Comotomo bottles we use (which we also bought off of Amazon and also love). She is still a little colicky and gassy and uncomfortable, but she's developing so quickly and is so healthy. She sleeps well and can go 6-8 hours a night without eating. I highly recommend this formula for moms that want to give the best ingredients to their babies and not a bunch of filler and crap.

Kalorik Baby Food Maker 5 in 1 Steam Cooker PINK

Kalorik Baby Food Maker 5 in 1 Steam Cooker PINKIt definitely does everything it says it does, but it is sooooo tiny! It literally will make applesauce ONE apple at a time. Am I supposed to make baby food all day long? It would take an hour to make one complete meal. If I am going to make baby food I want to make it in a huge batch for the week, not one apple at a time. I would rather use my steamer and food processor. I am disappointed.

So I have been using the Kaloric baby food maker for 3 months straight. There are definitely some pros and cons with the little machine, but I am so tired of making baby food all day long I finally invested in an Cuisinart 9 cup food processor.Cuisinart DLC-2009CHB Prep 9 9-Cup Food Processor, Brushed Stainless I found it cheaper online through the military, but noticed that Macy's was selling it for cheaper as well (in the store, not online).

So the review:

Pros:

1. Compact

2. Easy to use

3. Cute (is that a reason to buy it?)

4. Cheap? I got mine on clearance at Marshalls for $20, otherwise I would NOT have bought it.

Cons:

1. Major design flaw with the steaming input.

Water and food gets trapped up inside and there is simply no way to clean it. Today I spent an hour taking the thing apart, by unscrewing the bottom portion and trying to use the little brush and a small screwdriver to scrape out the food that was in there. I also popped out the filter and the top plastic portion to clean it as well. There is still a bit of mango stuck up inside there and I am finally retiring the thing.

2. No way to clean inside the steaming unit.

It says to rinse out each time, but after a few uses I would find chunks of what looked like moldy pieces of food coming out. They were black and slid right out after I forced water inside of the unit and shook it vigorously...eww gross!

3. Too Small!

It is okay if you are making a small batch of food, say 1-2 apples at a time to have on hand for a few days...but it is not meant to be used for freezing and storing, which is what I have been doing. Technically it is supposed to save time and money, but not when I can only cook 2 pears or 1 sweet potato at a time.

Another gripe about being too small is that I wanted to get the maximum amount of food into the steamer basket so I spend so much time cutting the food into tiny diced sized pieces, then would pound the basket on the counter to make room for more (kind of like you would do with a slurpee to make it settle to the bottom so you can fill the cup up to the top). Ahh what a waste of my time!

Overall:

I would NOT recommend this to a friend, my worst enemy, or to you my fellow Amazon friend.

We own Beaba's Baby Cook and it is great. Specially for my 8 month old baby girl. It is true it may be more complicated to cook your baby's food rather than buying gerber purees, but as my daughter wouldn't eat a complete portion and was loosing weight we decided to give it a try. It was a complete success. She now eats every bite and knowing what is inside the jar is a plus. I forgot to say we live in Spain, and as Beaba is a french brand we bought it at a normal price. Recently we were travelling to America to let know our daughter to some relatives. We were worried for the baby's food. We didn't know which american puree brands were better, so we decided to look out for a cheap imitation for Babycook for the 10 days we would be staying (keep in mind we couldn't carry the original with us because of the weight and the electricity in Spain is 220 instead of 120). I decided to buy the best deal appearing at amazon. Kalorik was on sale for a price of $48.00 (very cheap compared to the 140 we paid for Babycook). We bought it, and once at destiny, we found out it was exactly the same! Add food, water, cook, and blend. The only noticeable differences: Baby cook turns off automatically after the food is ready to be blended. I suppose it turns off after the water is over, and we never achieved to automatically turn off Kalorik. For this same reason, you always have to empty the remaining water after every use. It is as simple as turning the machine around in top of the sink. Also Baby cook has a sealed container. When Kalorik blends the food, if the recipient is not correctly placed, some food might get between the machine and the vase (through the middle aix), and if not cleaned correctly, I suppose it could deteriorate the machine in the long run (We only used it for 10 days). Also Baby cook comes with a very useful plastic tool to remove the hot plastic net where the food has just been cooked; With Kalorik you are barehanded. you can easily get burned. As for the rest, same ingredients, same taste, half the price. One thing! in the first use we forgot to take off the mixer knifes plastic protectors, and blend them toguether with the puree. BE CAREFUL and take them away before the first use.

This is such a cute item, got it as a baby shower gift and i use it to make all my baby food.. much healthier than buying the pre-made ones at stores.

the size is just good, because baby food should not be kept too long in the freezer.

i would definatly recommend this product!

Ella's Kitchen Organic Baby Food Carrots Apples and Parsnips -- 3.5 fl oz

Ella's Kitchen Organic Baby Food Carrots Apples and Parsnips -- 3.5 fl ozI really wanted to like this product. I am trying to feed my 6 month old baby a variety of foods so he hopefully will not end up a picky eater, but we follow the "4 day wait" rule because my husband & I have some food allergies/sensitivities. I often cook homemade food but since I work, I appreciate the convenience of organic pre-made food. Our son had already eaten apples & carrots with no problem. What I missed in not reading the packaging (my fault I know) is that in addition to carrots, apples, and parsnips, this product also contains lemon juice. I happen to be sensitive to all citrus fruits. Obviously I'm not sure if it was the lemon juice or parsnip or what, but my son was quite sick for 2-3 days after the one time he ate this product. Blowing out his diaper every hour kind of sick. We are going to save the remaining containers we had purchased for when my son is a year old and hopefully by then any food sensitivities will have worn off. He gagged on the taste, though, so we will see. I gave it two stars instead of one because I plan on trying it again in six months.

I personally think that "stage 1" is misleading, because of the lemon juice additive. I certainly wouldn't give this to a 4 month old. Although I think most infants don't have a problem with citrus, it is not unheard of in causing digestive distress because of the high acidity. I also wanted to point out how important it is to read food packaging labels, because even if something implies specific ingredients on the front, there may be additional additives. I wish Amazon would post the ingredients on here.

This stuff is garbage and Ella's Kitchen should be ashamed for false advertising. I was really surprised to see a fruit-veggie product like this one had so much calcium (20%) on the package compared to most of the other baby fruits out there (usually 0-2% unless veggies or yogurt's added in) and chose this over other products, thinking the extra calcium would be worth the extra $ for my baby in the long run. When you check it against Ella's website, it HAS NO CALCIUM%! Same goes for all the other stage 1 Ella's fruits (butternut squash, carrots, apples, prunes: 30% calcium on package but 2% on the website, peaches and bananas 10% calcium on package vs. 0% on website all the same serving size) -there were other differences too in protein, iron, etc. It does cost a lot more than some of the other organic baby fruits out there and tastes awful. If your baby is just as content with the other less expensive organic baby fruits out there, go with the cheaper alternative because nutrition wise, Ella's no better!

What a disgusting marketing ploy by Ella's Kitchen to get parents to choose their products because it is falsely more nutritious when it's the same as other organic baby fruits in terms of nutritional value.

My daughter has tried nearly all the Ella, Sprout and Happy Baby varieties and this is one of her absolute favorites. She especially loves it ice cold. She is 8 mos old with 4 teeth and seems to prefer the texture of the Ellas as well as the stage 2 Sprout meals (not a huge fan yet of the stage 3 much chunkier Sprout meals but like the Happy Tot ones)Today, she was sucking one down on the go in the infant carrier and in trying to avoid getting it all over me, I licked off some extra and man, this has a pretty pronounced parsnip flavor (a little on the radish side but not spicy) carrot is easily tasted. Not nearly as good as some other flavors I love and she doesnt seem one way or the other about but SHE LOVES IT!!! I wish they sold boxes of it on amazon, which is how I buy the Sprout meals.

Palmolive Ultra Baby Bottles, Toy and Dish Wash Liquid, 20-Ounce (Pack of 3)

Palmolive Ultra Baby Bottles, Toy and Dish Wash Liquid, 20-OunceI've noticed that the fragrance lingers when using this product. The fragrance is pleasant but I would not recommend using this with medela bottles/nipples or pump parts. Ive switched to seventh generation unscented kind.

I used GNLD NeoLife Green cleaner but it's getting to expensive so I switched to this palmolive baby bottles. It cleans really well for a fraction of the price but I wish they made this product fragrance free! After each cleaning I have to air dry for some time to get rid of the fragrance :(

its good for cleaning baby bottles. the problem with washing liquid in general is that it takes a lot to get rid of the baby formula protein that sticks to the wall of the bottles. If you are worried about those kind of stuff, this is the liquid to get. Just soak bottles in water diluted with this liquid and then after 5 minutes just clean it with a brush and rinse. You need about spoonful of liquid to wash 6 x 6oz bottles.

This is a great detergent for our baby's bottles and all the parts to them (Avent). It leaves a nice clean scent, and really gets all the "formula film" off the bottles; however, for the best price, check your local Wal-Mart. Ours here in NW Louisiana sells this stuff for about $2.50 a bottle, and Amazon's cost is nearly twice that per bottle for a 3 pack.

When we switched to Enfagrow Premium Toddler (Stage 2), it was harder to breakdown the tiny clumps and it left a white film in the bottle that was hard to clean. We started using this detergent to clean the bodies with hot water and it came off much easier. It does leave a slight detergent scent which I don't think is toxic or harmful to babies. After cleaning we put them in Phillips Advent steamer for further disinfecting.
