I've noticed that the fragrance lingers when using this product. The fragrance is pleasant but I would not recommend using this with medela bottles/nipples or pump parts. Ive switched to seventh generation unscented kind.

its good for cleaning baby bottles. the problem with washing liquid in general is that it takes a lot to get rid of the baby formula protein that sticks to the wall of the bottles. If you are worried about those kind of stuff, this is the liquid to get. Just soak bottles in water diluted with this liquid and then after 5 minutes just clean it with a brush and rinse. You need about spoonful of liquid to wash 6 x 6oz bottles.This is a great detergent for our baby's bottles and all the parts to them (Avent). It leaves a nice clean scent, and really gets all the "formula film" off the bottles; however, for the best price, check your local Wal-Mart. When we switched to Enfagrow Premium Toddler (Stage 2), it was harder to breakdown the tiny clumps and it left a white film in the bottle that was hard to clean. We started using this detergent to clean the bodies with hot water and it came off much easier. It does leave a slight detergent scent which I don't think is toxic or harmful to babies. After cleaning we put them in Phillips Advent steamer for further disinfecting.
