Bento Decoration - Food Picks (Animal) 15pcs

These are very popular in Japan, specially for bento (Lunch box).

We use these for such as small rice balls, meatballs and cut fruit, instead of hands, but these are not substitute for forks.

They are safer than toothpicks and better than dirty fingers.

My daughter loves these picks and they are strong plastic so I'm not worried about them breaking. They are on the small side but good for little hands and to fit in lunch boxes. We tend to use the bigger ones and not the two prong ones so much.

I own these forks and yes, they're small but they need to be for a bento box! My three year loves them and anything bigger would actually be a problem for her. I think they're cute and use them myself with my own lunches to pick up small items.

Now, I was basically looking for a "glorified toothpick" without giving my 2 year old an actual tiny sharp toothpick.

My son is a PICKY eater if it doesn't look interesting...he's not into AT ALL. My son will eat almost anything on a stick, but with little things I wanted maybe the little plastic sword toothpicks...until I saw these. I was completely aware before I purchased these that they were small, but my 2 year old son is really good about not tossing everything in his mouth and he chews very well.

They are small, and I like them because of that. I have posted up a picture of these in some balled cantaloupe. My son was really into it.

I really like them but just be aware of the size other reviewers seemed to be unaware of the size before they made the purchase.

OXO Tot 4-Piece Feeding Set

I do like this product and it's a great sturdy set for my son. I'm giving it four stars because it is not microwave safe. I have seen in some of the comments here that some people think it is. Nowhere on the box does it say microwave safe it says diswasher safe. I also went on Oxo's website to see if it was. It would be a little more convenient for me if I could use the bowl in the microwave. However, I still recommend the set especially because of the bottom. When my son self feeds the bowl doesn't move around too much in his high chair.

I was very skeptical about spending $20 on a single feeding set, but after doing a ton of research I decided to give it a shot. My son is 15 months and is ready to start learning how to feed himself. First, they are BPA and PVC FREE which is wonderful. The plate is genious. It is bottom heavy with a non slip base. The best part about it is the removable ring around the top. It makes it easier for young toddlers to learn how to get the food on the fork, it is removable for easy cleaning and for older kids that don't want it on there. The bowl is really nice because the sides come straight up so it helps put the food on the spoon and the lid is super handy for easy storage of leftovers. The bowl is also bottom heavy with the non slip grip base. Lastly, the fork and spoon both seem very easy for young kids to use, and the bottom side of the top of the handle has flat spots so they can lay flat instead of sideways. The green color is also very nice. My son is doing really well learning to eat with this set and I plan on purchasing at least one more set for him.

I love this set. I've tried the ones that suction to an eating surface but they don't wash well, the seals don't hold, and WOW the mess if your little one succeeds in getting it loose!!! but these work great. They have an excellent slip proof bottom that just does not scoot... so it stays put unless actually picked up. And they have held up really great in the dishwasher. The lid on the bowl fits really well and I've thrown it in plastic lunch bags full of food, to find it upside down but still closed. VERY PLEASED. I wish the plate had a lid or the utensils had a way to travel with the bowl, so I didn't give it a 5*, but all in all I really love this set.

This is a fantastic product. Simply made but does the trick. It comes with a spoon, a fork, a bowl with removable top, and a plate with removable lip. It's made of dishwasher safe plastic, although I do recommend top rack only with all of these sort of children's products.

Both bowl and plate have rubber bottoms which prevents movement. The child would have to pick them up and toss them over the tray for it to dump everything out. The corners are rounded but not so much that they will tip over. The utensils also have a rubber bottom on the handle which is great for small hands to learn gripping skills.

The spoon and fork have rounded metal parts which is helpful for picking up small items and wont hurt if poked in the face or against another sibling. The area of the spoon and fork are not so large so picking up bigger items will pose minor difficulty. The tines are not so far apart on the fork so really it's more like a small semi-spoon.

The bowl is a simple bowl with nothing special it has a lid that you can use for storage. The plate is where the magic happens. It has a rounded lip that enables children to pick up food with one hand (no more dirty two hands!) by bringing the food to the lip and lifting up, thereby containing the food on the fork, similar to if you were catching a baseball with one hand containing the ball in the glove as you caught it. The lip removes relatively easily once your child has graduated past this.

It is BPA, phthalate and PVC free, which is important for your child's health. Always try to get children's products which are absent of these key ingredients in the manufacturing process as they can have harmful effects on your child's health.

The colors are cute and comes in a variety of options. You can buy for different genders or color preferences.

love 'em! the colors are pleasing and they are easy to use and clean. don't love that they are made in china, but they claim to be made of safe plastics. the outer rim of the plate is removable for cleaning but, stays put while your child is eating. the bottom is solid and non-skid. the fork and spoon are curved for gripping and also have non-skid material on the bottoms. we have had them for a week so far and they are holding up well. good purchase.

Boon Catch Plate with Spill Catcher

The suction on this bowl works well on our wooden table, but not so well on our 1-year old daughter's high chair. At first my husband and I thought we had found the grail of toddler bowls: a bowl that we even had trouble pulling up. Not so much on the plastic tray of girlie's chair. She didn't even have to experiment very long to be able to pop it up and dump it on the floor. It's harder for her when she sits at the table she does sit there and work at it until she gets it off. Even though this bowl (and the companion plate) have the best suction of any similar product we have tried, it is not proof against a strong, determined toddler.

Does not stick to our counter so while it seems like a good idea, my son usually pitches it on the floor within moments of putting it down. Our dog is happy though.

The Boon suction products are great for toddlers! Mine is a big eater and started on adult food fairly young, but I was nervous about having plates thrown from the high chair. The Boon plates and bowls stick to the tray of our Fisher Price Healthy Care Booster without a problem. They're not glued down so I would still keep an eye on things if your babe is a thrower. Having these stick to the tray was an excellent way to teach a child how to handle eating like a big kid and to feed themselves before swapping in real dishes. The plates/bowls are also super easy to clean; no gaps between the plate and the catcher/suction cup for food to get stuck. If you need to cut food with a knife, I would recommend doing so on another plate since the plastic surface of these will scratch. However, they're not going to crack, shave or chip off unless you use a very sharp knife with a good amount of pressure, which you wouldn't be doing anyway. Overall, I would highly recommend this product!

This is a nice idea and it's cute, but so far I have not been able to get it to stick to anything for more than a few seconds. Kinda defeats the purpose when your grabby toddler can yank the whole thing right up and spill everything onto the table/floor.

I've noticed that the fragrance lingers when using this product. The fragrance is pleasant but I would not recommend using this with medela bottles/nipples or pump parts. Ive switched to seventh generation unscented kind.

I used GNLD NeoLife Green cleaner but it's getting to expensive so I switched to this palmolive baby bottles. It cleans really well for a fraction of the price but I wish they made this product fragrance free! After each cleaning I have to air dry for some time to get rid of the fragrance :(

its good for cleaning baby bottles. the problem with washing liquid in general is that it takes a lot to get rid of the baby formula protein that sticks to the wall of the bottles. If you are worried about those kind of stuff, this is the liquid to get. Just soak bottles in water diluted with this liquid and then after 5 minutes just clean it with a brush and rinse. You need about spoonful of liquid to wash 6 x 6oz bottles.

This is a great detergent for our baby's bottles and all the parts to them (Avent). It leaves a nice clean scent, and really gets all the "formula film" off the bottles; however, for the best price, check your local Wal-Mart. Ours here in NW Louisiana sells this stuff for about $2.50 a bottle, and Amazon's cost is nearly twice that per bottle for a 3 pack.

When we switched to Enfagrow Premium Toddler (Stage 2), it was harder to breakdown the tiny clumps and it left a white film in the bottle that was hard to clean. We started using this detergent to clean the bodies with hot water and it came off much easier. It does leave a slight detergent scent which I don't think is toxic or harmful to babies. After cleaning we put them in Phillips Advent steamer for further disinfecting.
