2 pk of Pororo Training Chopsticks for 2nd Step Left Handed Children

2 pk of Pororo Training Chopsticks for 2nd Step Left Handed ChildrenI purchased a set of these with the rabbit on them for my younger child (3yrs.) and she has loved them. She uses them whenever we have anything that remotely resembles Asian food. I figured a set that was more mature would be great for my 8 yr. old (the suggested age from the manufacturers website) as she is not well versed in the use of chop sticks. While these are great for general use they are a bit immature for that age and a bit small. I would recommend you get these for a 5 year old and get a training set designed for an adult. I will say that they are well made. I'd save these for my younger child, but she is right handed. Of course the website does suggest using the "other" handed chopsticks for intellectual development.

The First Years Smartwarmer

The First Years SmartwarmerI did my research on bottle warmers and settled on the Baby Pro Smart Warmer. I love how it's customizable and you only have to press one button after you set it up. The buttons are self explanatory and it heats the formula quickly. There is no need to refill water everytime you use it, just once in awhile. You do have to play around to find the best settings but after that, you just press one button.

The only thing that is problematic is that the beeping is very loud, although there is an option to turn it off. I leave it on so I can know when it's done when I'm in another room.

I purchased this at a store, foolishly not reading the reviews beforehand. Setting it appropriately is non-trivial, especially when you have to explain it to anyone. When properly set, milk and formula warmth is inconsistent. Sometimes it is scalding, sometimes it doesn't seem to warm at all. Generally it under-warms, so we have to set it a higher setting and then run the bottles under cold water afterwards to insure a usable temperature. I've had the product completely fail to work on a couple occasions, which have required unplugging it to reset it. At 3 am, I want to be able to throw a bottle into the warmer, hit the start button and come back when it's ready and know that it's ready, which I can't do with this product.

Buy The First Years Smartwarmer Now

I have used this bottle warmer for about a year now and it has suddenly started to leak on the bottom. I looked underneath it and realized there is a crack because the screw used to hold the plastic together has rusted and caused a line crack in the plastic. Of course it is out of warranty now. Prior to this, I had the same warmer but returned it to the store since the electronics were not working properly. Like one user said, it has a mind of its own and I believe the electronics on it were fried. It also cracked one of our glass bottles and the glass bottle shattered when we took it out. So I would not buy this warmer again. I wanted a cheap warmer but I guess you get what you pay for. Never again.

I have the older version of this product, and LOVE it. It's grey, but looks exactly the same. I tried a few other warmers at first, but they did not do the job like this one does, plus other warmers had weird quirks, were not user friendly, etc. I tried an Avent one that said you had to refill every time you warmed, or check the water (too high maintenance), also Munchkin one from Target that sucked completely--didn't warm at all, plus you had to refill water constantly also. I actually purchased two of these warmers, one for upstairs and downstairs (I got mine from Target for $41 each), then they went on clearance for $20. (I had two babies, 13 months apart). Unfortunately Babies R Us doesn't carry this item, and Target no longer does. I never saw the item anywhere else (than Target) but Amazon. I am so dependent on these warmers that I bought a third warmer (when it was on clearance, just in case). I've recommended this to a friend, also. So far the other two warmers have been fine, my sister is pregnant now, so I plan to give her the unopened warmer I bought months ago. I really like how the buttons are user-friendly, consistent (if used properly), and low maintenance. I try to keep the water filled in the reservoir, but it's unnecessary, I believe you need to fill only once daily. I also have the Avent bottles (which I LOVE also), I bought the blue ones for my son & pink for my daughter. One word of advice, since the bottles are plastic, I noticed that you must go up on the volume settings, so it gets the milk to the right temp (for example, if there's 5 oz of milk, then warm the bottle at 6-7 oz). I read somewhere that if glass bottles are used, then you go by the exact volume, since glass is more sensitive to the heat. Of course, this is has been my experience with my warmers. (Make sure you check the milk temp regardless!) Also, sometimes when my babies don't finish their bottles right away, it's easy to re-warm the milk, just adjust the setting to room temp. I have used both breast milk and Enfamil formula constantly in these warmers, and have not been disappointed one bit. I'm surprised that people have given them such bad reviews. Honestly, I could say I've gotten my money's worth for this item, and haven't even done the recommended descaling (that's recommended for many products like sterilizers/warmers/etc.) in the now nearly 16 months of using them--that's how low maintenance it is! The buttons are user friendly, with settings to warm different volumes, different temps, different sizes of bottles (and baby food jars--although I never used it for baby food), and breast milk/formula. Very smart warmer!!

I used this bottle warmer for 10-11 months (as long as my son was picky) and never had a problem with it. I had a tommee tipped bottle warmer previously and that thing just kept cooking the milk, I love that this one stops on it's own and lets you know when it is done. It is also great to have the customizability for the varying types of milk/formula/food and how it has been stored. I would definitely buy again.

Crocodile Creek Snack Keeper Sets

Crocodile Creek Snack Keeper SetsI purchased 2 of these for my kids' lunches. We use them EVERY day. They hold up well and my kids have NO trouble opening them. I usually put black olives or berries in this container, the size is perfect. I wish they would come in solids without a print as my older kids don't want the cutesy princess or whatever. The robot was the least offensive to them. I hand wash at the end of each day and they are ready to go again.

These snack containers are so cute and just the right size for a toddler or preschooler-sized snack. There's only one problem...a toddler or preschooler will be unable to open the container! Even this preschooler's mom has trouble opening it without tipping it, and once there's a snack in it, tipping it can make the snack fall out. Snack keeper is a good name, since if you want to keep your snacks off the floor, you'll need to keep them in the container...permanently.

I"m going to send a note to crocodile creek with this feedback...it'll be interesting to hear what they have to say. Surely these things were tested before they were released, so I can't imagine how no one noticed how nearly impossible they are to open!

Addendum: I just put some big pretzels (should try goldfish for a better test) in the container and asked my 4 year old to open it for me. He's pretty good with little fidgety things, and he was able to hold it down on the table securely with one hand and open the latch with the other. (He's had the container for a few days, so he may have figured it out over time) It was hard for him and I suspect that there will be times that his hands will slip and the container and snacks will go flying. So I'm adding one more star, but I still hope the company will redesign these so the closure is easier to operate.

Right after I reviewed these, we went out to run an errand at a local store. I took some snacks with us and out them in one of these containers. It broke In half in my hands! Very upset abut this as we just bought these. We are now down to one, and I don't know if I want to buy anymore of these.

Dabbawalla Lunch Bag

Dabbawalla Lunch Bag, Monkey See, Monkey DoThis lunch box is amazing. We have 3 Dabbawalla lunch boxes altogether for our kids. They've been well used, well loved and held up really well.

Pros:

Easy for the kids to open/close and get their lunches in and out of

Roomy without being too huge or bulky

Fit lots of food and types of containers (bento boxes; laptop lunch box 2.0 fits just fine inside, with enough room for an extra container or piece of fruit, plus ice packs; hot soup thermos)

MACHINE WASHABLE!!

Nice designs for the kids to choose from and enjoy

Cons:

Condensation and spills will soak through eventually These are neoprene, and so are water permeable

Not sufficiently insulated for packing dinner (but they keep everything plenty cold enough from 6AM to Noon)

This lunch bag is terrific. Our daughter picked out one of these bags last summer for taking her lunch to kindergarten. She loves it because no one else has one like it and it is easy for her to carry and use. She packs almost every day and her bag gets pretty dirty from the regular use, but we throw it in a delicates bag in the washing machine and it comes out looking new. This bag is also very spacious it has plenty of room for a full size sandwich container, plus three other smaller containers, a drink, and an ice pack. There are two mesh pockets inside for holding things in place and a pocket on the outside. I love that is free from harmful substances and that it is made by a company with integrity. These bags are so great we're going to buy another one for our son.

i liked how natural these are (they are neoprene) compared to other lunch containers which have PVC/lead/etc. i was really jazzed that they could be thrown in the wash. and you can wash them very easily, but my son's is still quite stained after use (somewhat heavy use). maybe an even darker color would be better.

My grandson needed a new lunch bag for school. His mom wanted a lunchbag that was washable. Voila! This is the cutest green frog lunch bag. It is made of cloth and is easily cleaned in the wshing machine. There is an inner pouch for food, and a place for all other essentials. The bag sits over my grandson's shoulders like a back pack, and my grandson likes to have a frog on his back!

Highly Recommended. prisrob 10-21-11

Baby Girl Premium Burp Cloth (Pack of 3)

Baby Girl Premium Burp ClothThese burp cloths are AWESOME!!! They are super absorbent and high quality. As far as some of the other reviews... shrinking in the wash? Not sure how this could have happened, did they wash them on hot? I have not had that problem at all. We wash as directed, on cold, delicate and dry them on Medium. We also use a detergent that has no enzymes, also recommended in the directions. Charlie's Soap Powder 2.64 lb (80 Loads) One person also said that spit up slides right off and they don't absorb... These burp cloths have 2 sides. One side is smooth (non-absorbent) other side is rough, this is the absorbent side!! They hold so much spit up, it's incredible, the spit up disappears into the cloth. Love that they are all natural materials and the diaper wipes are very similar and rock just as much. Highly recommended!!

I purchased two packs of these BabyKicks cloths for my sister and her new baby. I visited the other day and she was eager to let me know how great they are. Soft, strong and really absorbent, she is very happy with the gift and that makes me happy for the purchase. Will likely purchase more in the future!

Baby Girl Pink Initial Sip N' Munch

Baby Girl Pink Initial Sip N' Munch, Letter CI bought this cup for my daughter (2 years old). It is super cute. But it is large and the straw is a bit short, which makes drinking from it a bit difficult. The snack cup portion is definitely a plus. It is not very durable. When it is dropped, the lip pops off and all of the drink spills. It is easy to wash.

I purchased these very cute items for my 15 month old girls. They may have been intended for older children as my girls got the lids off readily. They are very cute but not well-designed at the lid-cup juction. May be ok for older kids who don't drop them but we had lids off & milk on the floor within 5 minutes.

the cup is cute but its not for small baby hands and wasnt designed with the same sturdiness as other baby cups. the whole thing comes apart when dropped.

cute but only past a certain age. in all honesty, i think it'd be better marketed to bigger kids--maybe like elementary school age--and not even toddlers. buying this for a baby is not a good idea. my daughter is 13 months old, by the way.

Lassig Gold Label Messenger Bag

Lassig Gold Label Messenger Diaper Bag ,chocoI was looking for a large bag to use for an everyday holdall; I no longer require the services of a diaper bag. Loved the look of this bag, and the price, but nowhere online could I find a realistic picture of the interior only top-down pictures showing it stuffed full of gear, or small pictures of a full, open bag taken from a distance. Based on some comments (which may have been on some other website) about the "wonderful organization" of the interior, I ordered the grey.

Well, this is a nice-quality bag. The seatbelt strap that attaches with leash clips I always consider to be a rather cheap look, but I'd planned to sew a strap to replace that. However, where this bag really fell down (for me) was that the main compartment has NO organization. Under the flap there is an organization panel, with pen slots and a zipper pocket, that kind of thing (very much like Rickshaw Bags' "Large Deluxe Drop Pocket"). Inside the main compartment was actually a little tote bag, made to fill in the interior, with short tote handles and pockets all over the outside of it, made with the same fabric as the exterior of the main bag. But once you remove this little tote, the main compartment is completely empty. I did realize the tote was included what I'd not realized (due to lack of accurate photos online) was that this tote provides the sole interior organization.

In short, nice-quality bag, a little rustic around the strap area, but useless interior. I don't need or want the weight of a second tote inside a bag I choose to carry. It's back to real handbags for me.

I just received this product in the mail, and even though I haven't used it yet, it seems like it will fit my every need. Was very impressed with the quality of the materials used, and all the features that it included. I wanted a nicer-looking diaper bag that was a larger size, as I am a professional working woman, and I believe I got it!

Skip Hop Mate Feeding Plate and Utensils

Skip Hop Mate Feeding Plate and Utensils - RaspberryI ordered this plate because my youngest son, at 21 months, loves to throw his food, plate, bowl, utensils, etc. He is a great eater, but as soon as he's done, things start flying. I took a chance ordering this plate online, but I'm definitely happy with it. It's quite a bit smaller than I thought it would be, but it's the perfect size for a toddler. I wish the mat had suction cups, but it's a firm plastic with non-skid silicone strips on the bottom. It doesn't move very easily, and because of the shape of the edges, my son can't easily get his fingers under it. He also loves that the fork and spoon fit onto the mat, and enjoys putting them on and off the posts, as well as putting his fingers through the holes in the utensils, rather than throwing them. And, when the plate in snapped into the mat, he can't remove it. So far, he has been able to push it away from him, with quite a bit of effort (as opposed to a normal plate), but hasn't tried to pick it up. I think the smiley face design is cute enough to leave on the table between meals, and my 3-year-old is already asking us to buy one for him (although I think he's a little old for it). Overall, I like it and would buy it again.

My 12 month daughter makes a mess out of meal time. We have always fed her off the table top but I wanted to start feeding her off of a plate. I purchased the Boon no slip plate but all she did was pick the plate off the table and hand it back to me. It is so light that it was relatively easy to pick it up. So the Skip Hop plate was my next attempt at feeding off of something other than a table.

I have found that nothing short of nailing it to a table will prevent any child from picking it up. With a good amount of effort, she was able to pick this base w/plate up, but it is bulkier and heavier than any plate out there. There are also tacky grips on the bottom so it prevents her from pushing the base across the table. She cannot push the base plate for sure, but she can pick it up if she set her mind to it. I try to distract her by giving her the fork and spoon. Now she tries to spear food with her fork and no longer tries to lift the entire plate. I suppose spearing is more of a challenge than lifting. I have to say that the fork and spoon are a good size for her hands and a good shape for picking up food.

Lastly, she has been able to separate off the white plate from the base by grabbing the dividers and spill food. But I have found that spreading a little olive oil on the dividers have positively foiled any attempts at picking off the white plate. I know it sounds like a lot of work, but it makes for a cleaner meal.

I wish that they sold extra utensils and white plates so I don't have to wash it after every meal. I definitely don't want to pay for a new set and base!

I wanted to use this on my son's high chair, but the mat is too big to fit. When placed on the kitchen table it slides around. It doesn't move as easily as if there were no mat, but the purpose of purchasing it was so it wouldn't move at all. The concept is great....only if it served it's purpose.

Before purchasing this, our one-year old son mashed and smashed his food all over the place. This has helped him learn to just put the food straight into his mouth. The non-skid rubber really helps and it is dishwasher safe, always a plus. I highly recommend this item.

Want Skip Hop Mate Feeding Plate and Utensils Discount?

This plate is not worth its money. The placemat claims to be stay-put, but it moves very easily. It only has very small skidproof strips on the bottom, and when my 8-month old tugs at it, it slides around. Also, she very easily picks the plate up by using the dividers it does not lock into place at all. Food also falls into the crevice around the plate, and all over the placemat. It's not really practical because then I just end up washing two plates instead of one. I wanted to use this with a tray-less high chair that attaches to a table, but now I've decided to go with the fisher price booster Fisher-Price Healthy Care Deluxe Booster Seat Blue/Green/Gray that has a tray already so there is no need for a plate, and is a good alternative to having a big ugly high chair. The whole booster seat is just a little more than this plate cost!

Organic Teething Biscuits Barley (Case of 12) 4.60 Ounces

Organic Teething Biscuits Barley 4.60 OuncesThe teething biscuits aren't made the way they were a few years ago. They seem to fall apart too quickly. I feel like I'm always digging chunks out of my daughters mouth. Will not be purchasing again.

My grandchildren love these biscuits. I tasted them and they really taste good to me. They are not very sweet. Good. I want them to learn to taste the food without the extra sweetness that some other companies put in their products. Love that the ingredients are good for you. I suggest that you give young teethers small pieces at first so that they can get used to chewing and using their tongue. Stay with children so that you are aware of how they handle any foods they have in their mouths. That is so that you can be able to react instantly if they choke on the biscuit pieces or any other food stuff. Give them small pieces so that they eat that and not cram their mouth trying to eat it all at once. Good product. Amazon delivered it promptly and packed it very well.

Baby Food Maker - Sage Spoonfuls Award-Winning All Natural Baby Food System - "Let's Get Started" P

Baby Food Maker - Sage Spoonfuls Award-Winning All Natural Baby Food System - 'Let's Get Started' Package with Immersion Blender and Food Processor, Storage Jars, Trays, and Recipe BookWhen I first bought this product I was worried that it would be a waste of money or too difficult to use. I was wrong. So so easy! Everything is a great quality. And the recipe book is amazing! It is extremely detailed which this first time mom needs. It breaks down all the food into age groups. There is just a ton of information in this book. If you do not want to purchase the whole kit I highly recommend you purchase the recipe book.

I got this Sage Spoonfuls kit as a baby shower gift and I have to say I LOVE it! I actually wasn't planning on making my own baby food, because I work full time and don't even cook, but when I opened the box and started flipping through the book (which is amazing by the way!) I saw how really easy it is. I absolutely love the storage jars! They're the perfect size, they don't leak, you can put them in the dishwasher and I really like that they're made in the USA. Plus, the kit comes with so many that you only have to make baby food once every few weeks, just prepare in big batches and store in the freezer. I also really like the blender and food processor. They're good quality, don't make a lot of noise and I love that I can use them for more than just baby food. As someone who had no intention of making her own baby food, I am so happy I got this kit, because I didn't realize how easy it is and how much healthier homemade is for my baby.

This is a great product. First of all... it does the job well. Nothing complicated, not too many parts to put together and take apart. Easy clean, can store easily under counter/in cabinet. Puree works well and immersion is great for bulk amounts and storing. I personally LOVE the cookbook. I think it is clean, straight to the point of "how to" and I love that it included great suggestions for different food combinations. The storage containers are a good size. You can also use the immersion for soup and other home made dishes that aren't JUST for BABY! =) Overall... I would definitely recommend this.. and I did A TON of research (Im talking hours and hours for days and days) and finally landed on this. I just love that it doesn't have to sit on your counter all day every day and does everything it says it should no complications or tricky quirks so far. I make bulk to last 3-4 days and then store it away until the next time I need it VERY NICE! =)

The Sili Squeeze Original Squeeze

The Sili Squeeze Original Squeeze, Reef Blue 6 Oz.We've used this product several times. Both the slow-flow and fast-flow versions. I would highly recommend both!

I'm excited to finally have a way to continue to make my child's food, and have it in a travel friendly product. My 19 month old enjoys the "squeeze" products available in the grocery--and they make great snacks when we are running errands. This product is a great way to recreate those with foods and products that I'm choosing, and at a lessened expense. I like that the slow-flow version is great for the car... it does take some work for the child to get any out--but there hasn't been an issue with spilling. The faster flow is great for when an adult is able to supervise the squeezing of the product. I feel like after some regular use (and maturing of my toddler) supervision may not be necessary for the faster-flow version.

This is a great investment for parents who like to make food for their children.

Pros:

Easy to fill

Easy to use

I love the cap stays attached

Easy to clean

Love the colors

Love that more than a few ounces can fit into the product--makes for a larger snack for a growing kid!

Cons:

I'm not sure about the string that attaches the cap to the base... I think it will be fine in the long run, but I worry about keeping it clean.

It is difficult to attach the cap to the base (must be lined up), but the way we are using these right now, my child isn't responsible for attaching the cap, so it isn't an issue.

My 12 month old loves this as he is really into feeding himself. It did take him a several attempts to learn to bite and suck the spout to get stuff out. I started by squeezing it for him and the puree would come out only when he bit but now he's got the hang so we are getting another in a smaller size. We got the 6 ounce and we end up discarding some.

If you are purchasing this item for a little one be prepared to be patient and allow them time to figure it out. Also puree needs to be smooth and relatively thin, I tried with mashed bananas and cereal the first time and even I couldn't suck it out. Whoops. Test it yourself with plain water and then the puree so you know what your child is up against.

This product did not work for me. I was very excited about it, but whenever I put anything in there from applesauce to baby food, the food does not come out. I own four of these squeezes. I love them and so do my kiddos. Even my seven year old will use one. I would suggest to order the nipple that is for the older kids. The first ones I ordered were the ones for the younger babies and it was nearly impossible for my baby to suck. I ordered the replacement nipples for the older kids and he has no problem with them. They are more like the size of the opening of the pouches in the store. Sort of free flowing. I have had them for a year and have had no problems. I ordered them from their website and paid quite a bit more and then shipping on top of that. But they were still worth it.

Piyo Piyo 2 Color Handled Dining Plate

Piyo Piyo 2 Color Handled Dining PlateVERY cute plate. The suction part works better if you put some water under it before pressing down. And always hand wash the rubber ring! I put mine on the top shelf of the dishwasher and it warped a bit, and the suction power was even worse after that. It's a cute dish, and I'll definitely use it in the future, but the suction ring just isn't great. I found some cheap ones at Target (Munchkin brand, I think?) that are three sizes of bowls per package and they work better.

ZoLi BOT Sippy Cup

ZOLI - BOT Sippy Cup 6oz - PurpleI bought two of these straw cups for my 7 month old daughter and they are great! She learned how to suck out of a straw without me ever having to "teach" her and loves these cups. Personally, I love the safe plastic and the fact that the weighted end of the straw keeps the straw in the liquid no matter how they have the cup turned.

The one concern I had about using a straw cup instead of a traditional sippy was possible spilling. But even when she has it turned upside down it hardly ever leaks. Maybe a few drops of water here and there, but no big deal. The end of the straw that baby drinks from is almost solid, but with a few slits cut in it. So baby can easily suck liquid out (no special biting the valve or anything) but it helps minimize spilling.

This cup is great and has survived being thrown to the hard floor many times.

**Update: Some leaking issues and a solution:

My daughter is now almost 14 months and these cups are still my first choice. However, I have had a few problems with them one cup cracked on the bottom (but my daughter does bang them around a lot) and I've had more leaking issues than I had hoped. First, ZoLi was great and replaced the broken cup with no questions asked (and it had been many months since I purchased it). Second, I figured out that the top "mis-threads" really easily. It's hard to even tell that it is not threaded properly unless I look at it from the side because it will feel like it goes on right, but is actually a bit crooked. When I fix this and am really careful to thread it levelly, I have no leaks.

Delilah would not drink from a regular sippy so I decided to go the straw route. She loved this sippy and so did I. She picked up on how to do it immediately. I love the straw on this cup. It is very flexible and not hard to drink from and the weight at the bottom is fantastic. There are 2 very large downsides! First one is they are not easy to clean. You have to get a special brush from Zoli to clean it appropriately and I would not put the top into the dishwasher. Second (and this is a biggie in my opinion) they are not durable at all! I believe if you are going to design a cup for an infant/toddler it must be able to withstand a few throws now and then...not this cup. The top cracked after about a week. I contacted Zoli and they immediately sent me a new cup...unfortunately that one cracked as well. I will definitely give Zoli customer service a 10 in customer satisfaction!! They sent me 2 replacement cups, a replacement kit which consisted of 2 extra straws and the aforementioned cleaning brush! So far the new 2 have not cracked but I am not holding my breath. I am giving this cup 3 stars mainly for the customer service I received and not the cup itself. Although you can feel good knowing if something does go wrong with the cup they will take care of you!

First of all, it is a decent cup. The small size combined with easy-to-hold handles make it a great choice for little hands. The weighted straw really does get almost all the liquid out, which is a nice change from some of the other cups out there (hint, hint PLAYTEX!!!) that leave a 1/4 inch or more in the bottom.

Unfortunately, the cons have outweighed the pros, in our opinion. First, the straw is kind of a pain to get out and put in. It's made of some sort of stretchy plastic/rubber/silicone/whatever so that when you pull it to get it out of the lid it just keeps stretching. You really need small fingers to grasp the straw where it meets the underside of the lid to take it out without risking snapping the straw. Similar problems exist when putting the straw back in the cup. It stretches when you pull it through the hole in the lid. The key is wiggling the straw as you pull to prevent it from breaking.

Second, it leaks. No, it's not a huge amount we've definitely seen worse. However, for $15 we don't want to see leaks at all! The problem is that liquid does not go back down the straw into the cup when the child releases suction. It remains in the straw. As soon as the straw is tipped and touches something (ie your carpet) the liquid is released from the straw and comes out, creating a mess. Again, it's not a huge mess when it leaks it's just something to keep in mind.

Third, the price. In order to pay this price for a child's cup, we expect great things. However, the cheap 2-for-$7 Munchkin cups give about the same results. This cup just isn't worth it. We have found, for those interested, that the Vital Baby Straw Cups (about $5 each) are EXCELLENT.

This is filled with juice however, the product does this with any fluid at all. I don't give my son soda so, unsure as to how the product would respond to that. I really wanted to love this sippy as my son is in his "straw phase." It seems like such a great idea. The great effort it takes to clean the straw would be worth it IF it actually WORKED and didn't ruin most of my furniture. For some reason the mechanism on the bottom of the straw which, in theory sounds amazing, pulls fluid up into the straw and then pushes it out. It actually empties itself. Ridiculous. I contacted the company and the email was polite and insinuated that I might have a defective one. Since I had bought both the green and orange one, I decided to try the other out in hopes of saving this idea as my son does love the cup. I'm now off to rent a carpet shampooer and to research how to get water stains off of my brand new wooden tables. Thanks Zo-Li.

I thought the idea behind the cup was ingenious. My 1 year old took to the straw immediately and I was relieved to finally find a sippy cup that she would use. At first I only used water and it was fine. Then I started to put milk in it and like other posters have commented on, it started to leak. I was really frustrated because I didn't know why milk was coming back up the straw and making a mess. My instincts where to screw the top tighter and that just made it worse. I discovered after a couple of days that if I left the top looser, the pressure would lessen and milk would stop coming up the straw. When I say loose, I don't mean so that the top doesn't stay on. Instead, just screw the top on but don't force it tight. Liquid will not leak from where the cup and top meet if you tip it over AND it prevents the pressure from building up inside the cup and spilling from the straw. We love this cup!

Baby Pea in the Pod Bunting Costume

Baby Pea in the Pod Bunting CostumeFirst off, I ordered a size 0-6 month costume and received a costume tagged "Newborn". My PREEMIE is 3 months old, weighs 11 pounds and JUST FITS the suit.

Next, the material is SUPER thin and of VERY poor polyesterish quailty. What arrived (shoved in a small box) was NOTHING like the picture implies (we also got an ugly NEON green color BOO!).

Last and most importantly the detachable "peas" on this costume are made out of a very unsafe foam. My son sucked on the one closest to his mouth for just a moment and a piece broke off!!! Can we say choking hazard!!!??? He is only 3 months old...imagine if he had teeth!

The costume we bought was not of the best quality. There were areas of the costume where the stitching was coming unraveled even before we tried it on our 3 month old. She looked cute as a button in it, but I was seriously bummed about the quality of the product. After one washing, it is falling apart and will have to be restitched in order to be worn again.

One of the velcro came off one of the peas which are made of foam.

Worn by our 2-month old baby for Halloween. Our baby is 14 lbs.

Looks really good.

Fits pretty good with lots of room for growth.

Little Tikes DiscoverSounds Kitchen

Little Tikes DiscoverSounds KitchenI'm so happy I bought this. My daughter started playing it when she was 6 months old. She loves the loose parts (pot, egg, milk, and cheese). And the system features doors that open for the microwave and oven and sound effects for the stove and sink. It's sturdy and doesn't tip over. It's good when she wants to play on her stomach or when she's sitting up. Fun toy for little ones.

Just the perfect size for small ones, she is 1yr old pots and pans perfect for little hands. For storage it's pretty compact, doesn't take up much space. It's a good size I even put in play pen to play with trying to corral her for a break! I makes noise but not too loud to be annoying for others in the room, and it's very sturdy. and pieces not too small to fear choking since everything goes in the mouth at this time.
