OXO Tot Baby Food Masher, Green

i thought this would be useful for making chunky foods, but it's just a waste of space. just use a fork or a small food processor. you don't need this.

I wouldn't say this actually works any better than any other food masher, but non the less it does exactly what it's supposed to do and I love the green handle. It's also very well made, not a cheap piece of junk by any means.

These are the best bottles I have tried for my son that has had an upset stomach and gas since he was born. They have really helped with his fussiness and gas. Best bottles I've tried and I've tried at least five different ones. He loves that the nipples are more shaped like a natural nipple too.

The nipple pours too fast for my 2 month old. I should have researched to see if these bottles had slow flow nipples before buying, however, I found that the Tommy Tippee website doesn't have any information about the flow of their nipples or if they even offer a slow flow. Very disappointed as now I cannot return the bottles since I've used one of them.

I love these bottles! They are perfect for my daughter. We bought these because she was having a hard time going back and forth from bottle feeding to breastfeeding. She just wasn't latching on correctly. Once I started using these bottles we haven't had any problems at all! I highly recommend these bottles! Worth the price.

These bottles are expensive and the pieces are easy to lose. We take pretty good care of our bottles, but every now and then it's inevitable that the small pieces are lost (we've lost two stems so far).

In any case, the benefits don't justify the additional cost. We've used about 4 different brands of bottles and these are the most troublesome (IMO).

I e-mailed the company twice to ask them if they would sell the stems separately but I didn't even receive the courtesy of a response. I can understand that it may not be part of their plan (i.e. if there plan is to milk customers of more money by making us buy more bottles). In reality, for our next child we'll probably use a different brand.

Does it actually work? It's hard to say, I didn't notice any significant difference in our kids behaviors so I can't say for sure. That's why I'm giving it two stars instead of one.

If your a first time parent, make sure to consider equipment, tools, bottles, etc that have replaceable parts and that are reasonably priced.

My nearby Fresh and Easy Neighborhood Market had a sale on Buddy Fruits. I used to buy these things for our baby and I always liked them. They're a blended applesauce with some other type of fruit, in this case Strawberry. You just take the top off. squeeze the little bag and suck on the open end while squeezing a little and the delicious applesauce blend is in your mouth. Real easy. Try them under difficult circumstances as while driving. Real handy. Very tasty. It's a quick and easy way to get one of your daily servings of fruit.

Naturepedic Waterproof Flat Crib Pad, 28x52

This is a fantastic pad. It's quite thin, and I had my doubts that it would keep the mattress dry (my baby is a real spitter)--but it does, amazingly well (I am constantly amazed how much it can absorb and still leave the mattress completely dry, not even a spot). And it washes very well. Plus it's organic!--genuinely organic, not like some of the products marketed as organic but not 100% so. It has been well worth the money.

My son has really sensitive skin and was intrigued when I came across this product. It seemed too good to be true, but I purchased it anyway. It is fabulous. The whole pad is soft and comfy, so much that my son threw a fit when I was placing it under his sheet. It does not have that plastic crinkly sound to it. I have already washed it a few times and just keeps getting softer. It did not let any of our sons accident seep through to the mattress. It is a great size, I use it on our son's toddler bed. Great Product.

We purchased this about 3 years ago before our son was born, along with the fitted version of the product. I couldn't make a decision and knew we'd want more than one for accidents, so got one of each. This flat mattress pad is PERFECT. So easy to change and wash. The fitted one is hard to get on in the crib and makes the sheets harder to get on. So first of all if you are wondering about getting this or the fitted one, I recommend this one!

I found this because I'm back to buy a twin sized version of this for my son's twin bed. We've been using this smaller one strategically in the middle so far but we feel we need something bigger now that he wants to try going without a pull up overnight.

I never noticed the mattress pad was too big as others have mentioned (maybe I got lucky?). It has washed up well, though we probably don't wash it often enough (oops). I just looked at it to double check the brand name and make sure I was getting the right one and I was thinking it literally looks the same as the day we bought it. It is really pretty soft and thin as well, but of course this smaller one on a larger mattress like a twin can sometimes bunch up under the sheets as the kiddos move around.

I was looking for a wool puddle pad, but they were all pretty expensive. What I like about this pad is it has the same qualities of a wool puddle pad, but is less expensive. Also unlike a wool pad this can be tossed in the dryer to dry, not hang dry. It fits on top of the matress and remains in place with the help of fitted sheet. Much better than a crib mattress pad, more protection and better material. Keeps my baby warm and dry, wicks away sweat, and is natural, no off gasing of plastics or flame retardents! Love it!

Ameda Store N Pour Breast Milk Storage Bags, 20 Count-, PACK OF 4

Having an Ameda pump I assumed these bags would be the best since I could pump directly into the bags with the special adapter. After pumping into the bags a few times I realized it was so much easier to pump into bottles and then pour it into bags. If you have an Ameda pump and prefer to pump into bags then these are great for you! I however, found it to be tricky since if you moved the wrong way you could potentially spill the milk and it was difficult to regulate how much milk went into eat bag (I liked to freeze bags with 4 oz at a time). I will say that the spout on these bags was well designed if you only wanted to pour a few ounces out at a time.

I found other brand bags to be much cheaper and worked just as well, minus the ability to hook up to the Ameda pump.

I bought this product for the fiber in prune juice to aid in my son's constipation. Compared to regular prune juice which has about 1.5 g fiber in 4 oz this juice has 0 g fiber in the same volume. The ingredients just list apple and prune juice but don't list how much of each. Clearly it's more apple than prune. If your kid likes to drink apple and prune juice then this product is fine but if you're looking for something to help with constipation you should look elsewhere. What a waste.

These bottles of juice are good for constipated babies that don't like prune juice. They taste a little better than straight prune juice, and since they are small, you don't end up wasting half a large bottle of juice. I like having a few stocked in our pantry.

My son can be constipated very easily. We tried everything. Lots of fiber and lots of water by themselves don't to the job for him. With prune juice is bingo! A must to have for us. Sadly I got a note that Amazon will no linger care prune juice by Gerber so, we tried pear juice and it does the same job for our son.

I ordered 3 of these because my toddler still likes using these and soon I will have another self-feeding toddler. The old design had many complaints by other reviewers (pieces don't stay together or are difficult to put back together) but I just wanted to let others know that the white piece on the bottom of the plate is now STUCK ON the plate so it does not come apart. Now, I purchased 3 more thinking that the pieces would come apart as I only use the top 2 pieces anyway before, so the bottom piece stuck on was a surprise to me. At first I was not pleasantly surprised, but now that my son has used it a few times with the plate sucked on to his place mat I'm happy that it comes stuck on. The top piece is still challenging to put back onto the plate, but with practice it's not so bad!

My only "problem" is that Amazon does not allow us to pick the colour. I have 2 sons, and of the 3 I ordered, I got 2 pink sets!

I love this product. Unlike the other reviewers, I don't use the suction cup. I don't have a problem with my son leaving his plate/bowl on his tray (he is 19 months). My son struggled with getting food on his spoon and the curved rim helped him immensely. He used to use his hands to help put the food on his spoon/fork, but after two meals with the plate he has figured out that he doesn't need to anymore. A matter of fact, he no longer needs my help to feed himself at all. I can give him his plate and spoon and finish doing the dishes without worrying about messes. I would highly recommend this product if you are looking for dinnerware that will help your child learn how to use a spoon/fork without the help of others or their fingers.

We love this bowl. Little One has been using it for about two weeks now she is 16 months. The rim helps her get food on her spoon and she LOVES the independence of being able to feed herself.

The suction works perfectly on our high chair tray and wooden table. she has tried a few times to pull it off, but mostly she just leaves it alone she's much more interested in eating!

Gotta say, I was skeptical about trying this plate, due to all the bad reviews, but considering all the other plates/bowls with suction cups that I've tried have failed, I figured I'd give it a shot! First off, as some of the other recent reviews have mentioned, the white suction bottom no longer comes separate from the plate. This could be a good thing or a bad thing depending on how you look at it. Because it no longer comes apart, the suction cup works great....the downside, if you like to nuke your kiddo's food for 30 seconds in the microwave, you can't, or the suction cup's rubber would likely melt. This in no way was a deal breaker for me, because I'm used to most of my children's plates and bowls not being microwave friendly. The green ring seems fairly easy to get on and off, so no issues there. The one tip I'd offer is to make sure you wet the suction cup before pressing it to the highchair or table. Overall, I've tried all the other brands ("sassy", "munkin", etc.) and I have to say, as a mother of twin boys, who love to throw their plate, this is a winner!

This is an awful toddler plate. My recommendation to parents is to keep on looking.It doesn't have good suction and it literally impossible to put the pieces back together. Once I finally got all the pieces snap in together it would not stick on the high chair table.

I've read many of the reviews here on Amazon and since there were quite a few opposing opinions, I decided to try one for myself. First of all, I've seen many negative comments regarding the BOGO offer. Yes, I feel the shipping is a tad expensive but if you try to find these bags for anything less than $19.99 each, you'll be hard pressed. Trust me, I've looked. That means even if you were to purchase 2 of these from Amazon along with their free shipping, you will still be paying close to $40. Through the BOGO, I paid somewhere around $32 and change for 2, still a savings of $8. As for how the bags performed let me preface this by saying that I have a Prius which is rated by Toyota to get 50MPG. I've owned this car for 8 months now and so far my best average MPG has been 47. Close but no 50... I would say the 10 hours claimed by the manufacturers of Packit were gained in ideal testing conditions as was I'm sure the case for Toyota and the Prius. You have to consider this item for what it is an insulated lunch bag with integrated cooling packs. I've used these bag for roughly 5 months now in many different situations, including our kids school lunches, my work lunches, beach outings and different sporting events. What I can say is that I love the convenience factor of not having to worry about separate gel packs and that the bags do what they say for average everyday use. I believe the average person (including myself) tends to pack a lunch in the morning with the intent to eat it 4-5 hours later. If you are in this group, your food will definitely be cold when it is time to eat. If your time frame is towards the 8-10 hour mark, this may not be the best solution as it is close to the upper performance limits of the bag. Take this review for what it's worth as I have not used any scientific methods in testing but instead put it through normal everyday use.

Let me say upfront this works well for what it is. If I have an appt before work in the morning I use these bags to keep my breakfast/lunch cold until I get to work and can eat it or put it in the fridge. But one morning I packed the bags at 7 and left the bags out of the fridge until lunch (about noon). I had them under my desk (not like they were in a hot environment) and the contents were what I would call merely "cool" by noon. They're probably the best solution for kids in school, but if you have access to a fridge, use a fridge.

After 1 month after purchasing the lunch box, I noticed a tear on the inside that made the box unsafe to use. I think that a yogurt container slit the very thin plastic. I called packit and explained the situation. They would not stand behind their product and considered the yogurt container a "sharp" object.

I DID MY OWN TEST ON THIS, I FROZE IT ALL DAY AND NIGHT THEN LOADED IT WITH A FEW ITEMS. MY MAIN TEST ITEM WAS A STICK OF BUTTER. IT HAS NOW BEEN 8 HOURS AND TWENTY MINUTES SINCE THE TEST STARTED AND THE BOX IS ABOUT AS WARM AS IT STARTED BEFORE BEING PUT IN THE FREEZER, I CAN NOT IMAGINE DOING AS THEY ADVERTISE AND HAVING THE KIDS COME HOME AFTER A WHOLE DAY AT SCHOOL AND SAFELY PUTTING THEIR LEFT OVERS IN THE FRIDGE FOR LATER. THEY ALSO SHOW PEOPLE TAKING IT TO SPORTS GAMES AND SUCH, I WILL TRY IT, BUT I CAN'T SEE HOW IT WOULD STAND A CHANCE IN THE SUN OR WARM TEMPERATURES. We ordered this for my son to take to school. We were very excited and couldn't wait to try it. We used them for about 2 weeks. Our conclusion? No good. After freezing it for 48 hours, the pack was frozen solid (good). We packed a good lunch, but by the time picked him up, anything left in the bag (like unopened yogurt) was room temp. The ggod thing is they offer a 30 day money back guarantee. But when I called to get return authorization, the customer service rep had 20 questions for me. This was a gift. Mom needed a formula that would settle babies tummy. This worked. The baby now rests more comfortably with a lot less gas.

I wish they made premade sizes in 4 ounces, this is good for a infant but at 3 months my baby eats more than 2ounces at a time. I bought a whole bunch of these and have them in my diaper bag in case of emergency. It is also good for my husband who in the middle of the night would rather grab the premade stuff than mix powder and the water which makes a mess. I just wonder though, why the nursettes are darker in color than the powder when it's mixed with water.

We had used Enfamil's 6 oz nursette with my daughter, and found these when my son was born. We were doing extensive travel before he was 2 months old (so he wasn't yet drinking a full 6 oz at each meal), so these smaller bottles were perfect. We use them with the Medela collars and nipples, but haven't tried other brands from other bottles. As far as the type of Enfamil, we didn't see much of a difference in spit up between this and either the regular Lipil, though he did seem to say full for longer.

Lassig Long Sleeve Bib

I love this bib but the arms on it are really tight. My daughter is at the top of the age range for this bib, but she is not at all on the chunky side. In fact I'd go as far as to say she's pretty skinny. It does also stain quite easily, particularly if you are serving tomato-based sauces, and you will have to scrub it and use some stain remover to get it out. But other than that it does it's job very well.

I would expect something belter like and over-size cover that goes over and around the table adjusting it with a drawstring. Your baby will simply make a bigger mess with this. Since it doesn't stay in place, your baby will throw everything to the floor.

Plum Organics is a really good product, and this flavor is no exception. My 8-month old loves, loves, loves the Spinach, Peas & Pear combo...more so than any other brand out there. She is keen on savory foods and I guess this qualifies because she can't get enough of it! It is still sweet, but not overwhelming so, and you can really smell the spinach in it, which I think is a good thing.

As far as the integrity of the product is concerned, I also give it a 5 star. After researching "where" the product is made, it has become apparent to me in talking both with Plum Baby Organics and the distributor, Oregon Tilth, that most of the main ingredients are made in the U.S. and not in China. The bulk of their ingredients come from Emeryville, CA. The exception would be fruit such as bananas, mangoes and other tropical fruit come from Mexico. So, until proven otherwise, I will continue purchasing their products gladly and quite satisfied. I was also quite pleased that I actually spoke with representatives from both companies in a timely manner. I will gladly support small businesses such as Plum, especially knowing that they are endeavoring to provide a quality product for our children.

After buying this zucchini, banana and amaranth on the package, you would NOT expect that apple puree is the 1st ingredient on the menu. How do they get away with not listing apple in the name of the product. Variety is important so it would be nice to know if you are just buying another apple puree.

This was the first Plum Organics food that I've tried with my son and he's had it twice so far and he loves it (which is good considering his mommy dislikes broccoli). I wish that Amazon had individual packs for sale or a mix case of different flavors but I don't mind paying the $1.49 (or maybe it was $1.29) that I found at Target (wanted to make sure he liked them first before I bought a case).

Nuby Suction Bowl with Spoon and Lid

This is the best solution to toddler feeding (or learning how to) I have found yet. We've tried a variety of suction bowls and they never seem to stick. These guys do the trick. I actually bought my first one in store and stuck it to one of their walls first and tried to rip it off to make sure it would stand up to my daughters attempt to feed our floor. Sure enough, didn't budge. So, I ordered 2 more. The lid snaps on tight (though you need to push it a little harder than you would a simple piece of tupperware) to ensure a tight seal. I adore that I can snap a spoon on top in the event we need to eat on the go, and the dirty spoon can snap right back in to keep it from getting on stuff in her diaper bag until we can get home to wash it. Microwave and dishwasher safe in our house are a must, and these are both (as stated from their website, and through experience.) I think what I love the most is that if I go through the "trouble" of making lunch and my daughter decides she's not hungry, instead of letting food sit on the counter until she is, or having to transfer it to tupperware, all I have to do is toss the lid on, throw it in the fridge, and reheat when she decides it's time to eat. Seriously, perks everywhere. We carry one in the diaper bag at all times in the event we opt to eat out without thinking ahead we can put her servings in this bowl so that she can't toss plates on to the floor at restaurants. Though, if it's winter, I usually have to run the suction through some warm water first so it'll stick. Suction cups don't stick well when they're cold :)

I bought this bowl for my 5 month old DD. I abvsolutely love this! she tries to push and pull the bowl but the strong suction hold very well. No spilled cereal or other food ever!

As said it just doesn't stuck for too long on wood surfaces but on acrylic won't be a problem to hold on.

It doesn't suction very well but I was kind of expecting that. I like that there is a spot for the spoon on top of the lid. Makes things easy for travel. The lids stay on well but aren't impossible to get off (like the munchkin ones).
