This was a decent price and my kids really liked the flavor. I send it to school in their preschool lunch box. I like it because it is more than just applesauce. They like it too. I would suggest to the marketers of Gerber to drop the baby face because for toddlers they are pretty sensitive to NOT being a baby. It works well for both preschoolers and babies. Also would suggest to put more in the pouch. 3.8 or 4 oz is ideal for my tots.

My husband and I were very excited to discover a bag that is neutral in gender, (no polka dots, bows, etc.) has a TON of capacity, came with the snack pack, and had the added bonus of the insulated cup/bottle compartments on the sides. We brought it home and much to our frustration the left cup/bottle compartment zipper blew when we went to zip a normal sized bottle in it. When we picked our son up from daycare the second day, the right zipper had blown also. Great Bag, but get a higher zipper quality, Skip Hop. I was hoping that a $100 bag would last through two children. Now we'll have to look at another bag when the second baby comes around. Let me start by saying that the idea behind this bag is great. I love the mealtime kit that comes in the bottom of the bag. My daughter is only 10 weeks, so I am actually using that space for diapers and wipes. The insulated mealtime kit will hold about 8 NB or size 1 diapers, Butt Paste, and a thingy of disposable dirty diaper baggys. I also stick my Skip Hop wipes case in the bottom zipper compartment. The issue I have with the bag is the built in hard bottom to the inside compartment of the bag ( the piece between the main part of the bag and the bottom zipper compartment where the mealtime kit goes). It sits unevenly when everything is in the bag and makes the inside main compartment lop sided. I end up having to take everything out, straightening this inside piece, and then put everything back in. It doesn't disrupt the functionality of the bag so much as it is just annoying. Also, formula drips stain and show on this color (olive)...so if you are formula feeding, take that into account. There are many compartments to this bag, which does help me stay organized. I do wish that the parent compartment was a bit bigger, as it only will hold my keys, wallet and cell phone. I do feel like the main compartment is a bit hard to see/access when the bag is completely packed though.
This bowl was super ineffective I gave my daughter some shredded mozzarella cheese in (she loves the stuff) and only minutes later as she sat on the floor there was a huge mess. This did not keep the food contained at all. I had high hopes for the product especially for in the car, but I wanted to test it in the house first. I would not buy! Oh and my baby is 15 months old. I was actually skeptical of the product just wondering what would happen if it were thrown, but she didn't even get that far!
We bought this set for my nephew's birthday (2 jrs old) and after a few weeks the coloured printing of the plate started to peel off and mix with his food. Now you dont need to be a rocket scientist to figure out that my sister in law was not happy with me nor with the present and neither was I. My 10 month old loves this cereal. He has been eating it for a few months now and like how it tastes. It's a bit sweet for my own taste but I mix it with the oatmeal cereal to offset that a bit. Plus, this one is a more expensive so I save a few $$ as well.
My nephew is 2 and he loves food (both play and real), so I bought this item for him for Christmas. The short version is that he loved it, but I was a little disappointed that the packaging (the paper around it) made it clear this is a set intended for girls. There were only little girls pictured, and I think the background was bright pink I ended up taking an X-acto knife to the cellophane and carefully removing the paper around the sides of the basket, then re-taping it together so it still looked like a new set. I don't know why there is this impulse to assign a gender to each toy; it's absurd. Boys eat picnics too. The other comment I have is that the lid to the basket is a little flimsy. I'm pretty sure he's probably already pulled it apart since it was looking a little worn by the end of Christmas day. But overall this is a great set and the company should adjust the packaging to be more inclusive because it's fun for everyone.

If your baby eats a lot, there's a lot more food per pouch. The nozzle and cap makes it easy to squeeze straight onto a spoon and feed baby with no mess (at least on this end). Also, since the food theoretically is being transferred from the pouch to the spoon, you don't have cross-contamination of the baby's mouth germs being reintroduced back into the jar of baby food.

Exactly what I was looking for for my kids. Nice cotton top and bootom layer. No crinkily plastic noise or feel. Does not cause you to become hot or sweaty like most waterproof covers. Initially I was disappointed at how much smaller these bibs look than the baby Bjorn Dex Baby and tommee tippee Bibs that I have purchased. However those bibs were always kind of sitting on the high chair tray or my son was leaning in to eat and so the pelican pocket parts were thusly useless and all the food went into the seat or back onto the tray. Baby Bjorn I returned because my little boy couldnt even eat since the stupid thing sat on top of the tray and then when he leaned forward to eat poked him in his neck with its rigid collar. The tommee tippee ones just got yucky and stained and the Dex baby ones are too east for him to unsnap and just fling food everywhere.

I have twins, so we go through a LOT of bibs...
I bought this bottle warmer simply for the cost and I will never do that again. The water reservoir leaks all over the counter. The directions say not to overfill but the reservoir drains the water into the warmer on its own so there should be no user error. And since the water "drains as needed" from the reservoir into the warmer, you should never have to place water in the warmer directly. There is no light or anything to tell you when to add more water but you never know what is in the warmer part. Many times in the middle of warming a bottle for 4 minutes, the water will run out and if you are not standing over the warmer (God forbid you have a baby you are getting into pajamas while the bottle warms) you will only know by the horrible smell that occurs when the water is empty and yet the burner keeps burning, hence burning the bottom of the bottle. And other times, you will pull the bottle out of the warmer (the handy basket part doesn't hold a bottle bigger than 4oz so you are using your hands to pull it out) the nipple and bottle are burning hot and yet the liquid is cold. I read the other reviews just now and I sure wish I would have looked on here before I bought this product. And I certainly wouldn't have bought 5 of these. I will be throwing this one out and buying a new brand altogether.

I've read these reviews and can't figure out why people don't like this. My wife and I received it as a baby shower gift and we use it multiple times a day. If you use common sense and check the water level through the somewhat transparent water reservoir you should never run out of water halfway through warming your bottles. Also yes it does get the bottle and lid and nipple hot, use a towel to pick it up. It's not that hard to do. My son loves this cereal, we've been eating it for half a year already, mixing sometimes with oatmeal or wheat cereal, adding fruits to it. We've started to give the cereal when my baby was 6months old and never had an issue with allergy.
I do not have human children so I can only comment on how this works for my furry kids. I have a cat with severe pancreas/GI issues & he has steadily lost weight over the past 2 years.He cannot seem to absorb enough nutrients from his foods. He is on B-12 shots & prednisolone to help calm the inflammation & spure his appetite but sometimes the ONLY thing he will eat is this chicken baby food. He has also eaten the ham & turkey versions of this brand but lately...........just the chicken. He's fussy & has always been a "drama queen" & he also has allergies in the Autumn that affect his willingness to eat (if a cat can't smell the food a cat won;t eat the food) so getting anything into him is helpful & the baby food is good for both nutrition & for hydration.My husband & I will do most anything to keep him happy & enjoying his quality of life for as long as possible & this baby food helps us do that for him. One of our ferrets has lymphoma. We give him a mix of the chicken, the ham, a little of the apple, peach, & banana, a touch of Ferret Vite, his prednisolone, and a bit of warm water out of the Zojirushi. We have an elderly cat that is hyperthyroid, which leaves her often sick to her stomach. She absolutely HATED her prescription food from the vet for her condition--she hated it so much she would rather not eat at all then eat that food, and she was already skin and bones. So--we had to find an alternative food and continue giving her thyroid medicine. We've taken her off all corn-based feed and put her on Blue Buffalo, which has decreased her vomiting. We supplemented her food with the Gerbers Chicken & Gravy, 1/2 jar once a day. It is a treat for her and she isn't sick of it yet. It also seems to settle her stomach--she hasn't vomiting once after eating it. She has also begun to gain a little bit of weight, which is great. Buying the food from Amazon is a bit more expensive than getting it in local stores, but I like the delivery to the door, since I am disabled (and this vendor sends the food SUPER fast) .
Within the last year I discontinued using plastic containers and made the switch to glass. However, I was in need of small "travel size" containers for salad dressing, yogurt, as well as children's snacks. The cubes (and bowls) are perfect for my needs! These are perfect sized containers for kids. They do hold a "regular" sized sandwich if you cut off the crusts (which works out well since my kids don't like the crust much anyway we just crumble it up and feed it to the birds). With that said, I don't typically send my kids with sandwiches. Instead I fill half the container with veggies and the other half with a little rice and meat. A kid sized, balanced meal all in one container. I really prefer the multi-colored four packs because I can designate a color for everyone (makes keeping track of them very simple). I'm a BG fan. I like the freetimes. 4.0's and also use Flips. These are expensive, but I wanted to try. The organic cotton inside is really thin compared to the usual microfiber inserts which makes for a trimmer fit. There are two thin layers of cotton attached to the diaper at the ends but loose in the middle which makes for a faster dry time. I double the fabric up in the front since I have a boy. I really thought he'd leak through because the cotton didn't look like it would hold much. However, it was good through his 2.5 hour nap. I'd like to slowly work these into my stash if possible. If you can afford them, I highly recommend them!
