Boon Pouch Rack Baby Food Pouch Organizer, White/Green

Boon Pouch Rack Baby Food Pouch Organizer, White/GreenThis is VERY well made. It's sturdy and metal and very nice to look at. But unless this is living out on your countertops it's total overkill. I much prefer the cheaper Munchkin option that holds more pouches.

This is a great storage option for our Plum Organics pouches! I live that it also stores the spoons on the side. And it's stackable:)

This organizer is very durable & sturdy... It's very pretty on my counter top :-) that being said I do wish it held more than it does. It's 3 rows & it holds about 6 or 8 pouches per row (I'm stuffing it to get that much in....)

But it's so cool looking & different that I guess I don't mind! LOL other organizers that I've looked at look cheap & ugly!

The picture does not do this organizer justice. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was made of metal, not plastic. It is an attractive, functional and funky addition to my kitchen counter. It could be slightly improved if it could hold more than just 12 pouches. But, other than that, it's a keeper.

I know that this is pricy, and I expected this to be plastic but I was pleasantly surprised that this is made out of metal so it's extremely durable! Keeps my baby food pouches nice and organized and it looks great on my counter!

Boon Fluid Sippy Cup

Boon Fluid Sippy Cup,Blue/OrangeThis is the first sippy cup I bought for my 9 month old. She can hold her bottle, but refuses to do it. So I thought this design would be a good first cup; since the shape would allow her to hold it in different ways. She loved the shape, held it and started drinking from it from the start. The major downside is that this cup drips a lot. If you hold it upside down, it takes a few seconds before it stops dripping. My daughter also enjoyed this part of the sippy cup and would use it to get everything wet.

Cool idea, but until Boon fixes the dripping, not worth it.

Waffling between 1 and 2 stars.

The shape really makes the babe want to use/hold/play with bottle (2 star), but it slow leaks everywhere (1 star). I would only recommend using water with it.

Being that this is supposed to be a "learning cup" that's meant to be a transition between bottle and cup, I wish designers (Boon and others...like OXO) would make a slightly softer spout so the kid could get used to gripping it easier. I tried this sippy cup myself...not the easiest (harder to use than the OXO, which my kid also didn't much like to use); the spout is slippery and angled, not even sure which way should be up. A lot of (sucking) effort for very little liquid. Honestly, seems easier having it slow leak into their mouths. It seems like such a pain to use for first time learners. :^/

i do love boon products, though this one fell short. my daughter, as all kids, throws her sippy cups and it cracked the plastic base to leak. i bought 2 thinking the 1st throw was a fluke, but it happened quickly to the 2nd cup as well. i would not recommend, even though i love the design.

I saw the bad reviews and got it anyways because I didn't want to believe that Boon would make a bad product but this is a total fail! Believe what you read and don't waste your time and money like I did!

When we received the cup it was in good condition, and looked just like the pics. After washing and filling the cup, my son easily grabbed and carried it. The drinking part was the problem. The spout is to firm for him to get good suction, and the hole isn't big enough for liquid to flow through.

Similac Sensitive Isomil Soy, Powder, 1.45-Pounds (Pack of 6) (Packaging May Vary)

Similac Sensitive Isomil Soy, Powder, 1.45-PoundsWhen breastfeeding was no longer an option and I needed to find a substitute that wouldn't contain Lactose, my pediatrician recommended this product.

My daughter wasn't sure about it at first, but she learned to accept it as her new "milk".

Since formula is an expensive venture, I am always looking for ways to get the best deal. This pack matched Costco's price when they stopped carring it.

I was caught off guard when I ordered this product and another arrived in it's place. Before complaining, I discovered on the Similac website that they have redeveloped the product to contain their "Early Shield" advancement.

The website is:

.

Customer service says that it is the same product just with this addition, a new name and a new label.

I don't want anyone else to be caught off guard if this is the product you use. It is now called "Similac Sensative Isomil Soy". It has an Orange lid and a Magenta label.

It was great to get the same product I'd have purchased in the store delivered to my door. With the free shipping I ended up saving a few pennies per ounce!

Our son was born at nearly 10 lbs. I've heard all the talk about breast-fed and natural/homemade formula, which is great if you have the time. My wife works full-time and we decided to try similac soy because I'm allergic to milk. Now almost at 7 months our son is happy, healthy, and a whopping 25 lbs. He has never been sick and our pediatric doc has said he's in excellent health every visit. We were worried about using formula at first, but I wouldn't hesitate to use Similac formula on any of our future kiddos. He did spit-up quite a bit up until 6 mos, but from what I've read that's not uncommon because the stomach doesn't close until about that time so I doubt it would have mattered what formula we used.

i was disappointed that half of the lids on the containers were broken, which made me then have to transfer the formula to a container that did not have a broken lid & caused some formula to spill. I was not happy with that I wasted some good formula since the containers are not made to transfer.

Munchkin Sesame Street Fresh Food Feeder

Munchkin Sesame Street Fresh Food FeederLove this because had the elmo face on it. First one i brought with face on it. This was for my grandson, wish they had this one when my kids was little. My grandson eat on both ends, apples and love to put elmo head in mouth cause he is teething and elmo is hard for his gums. He loves it. Recommend to all for babys training to eat and teething

We bought this for one of our Nieces and she loved it but for the wrong reasons. She wouldn't eat anything in the mesh cause she was so entertained by Elmo. It really is made nice but it's seen more as a toy than a feeder.

My little boy loves these self feeders. He has several of the Munchkin brand and does very well with them. This one seems to heavy. The Elmo on the handle, although cute makes it heavy and he drops it much more than the others that we have.

Seriously. My baby boy of 8 months will eat anything and put anything in his mouth, except for this. He loves fruits and we always watch him very carefully every millisecond he does so. It gets difficult so we bought this. Luckily I just bought one, because normally I just buy things in multiples to make it easier on me later.

I'm sure it's a good product, and it's a good concept, but don't have high expectations.

Baby Sherpa Diaper Backpack

Baby Sherpa Diaper Backpack Color: BlackStay-at-home dad here, looking for something a little more macho than the typical diaper bag. I arrived at the Baby Sherpa 4-in-1 Diaper Backpack a little late, as I have two toddlers rather than say, a single infant. However, given the company boasts how much that this bag can hold and how well it is designed to allow it to hold more just because of better design, I thought I would do well with this for toddlers because the bulky diapers are gone, so that leaves more room for a change of cloths, larger food items and juice cups, some of my things, etc., right? Wrong.

First of all, this backpack is WAY too compartmentalized. I was doing better using the large beach style bag that I bought from Target. The main compartment is a useless size, mostly because it's divided up into three separate compartments that are each too small to be useful. The write-up boasts that this backpack has a medical kit compartment, compartments for glasses, palm pilots, cell phones, wallets, etc. Can someone tell me where all these pockets are, because I just couldn't find them. The main compartment could hold my wallet, Palm device, and cellphone, but that's about all it could hold then. The two separate zipper compartments on the side that seem to be where they think you're putting your cellphone, wallet, Palm Pilot, and glasses are very strange shapes that could maybe hold a single pair of sunglasses or a very small cellphone, but they could not hold my wallet, and definitely could not hold a woman's wallet. They surely cannot hold all of the items they mentioned. These pockets are also not padded at all, so putting your personal electronics in this pockets (which stick out like ears on either side of the backpack) would be very risky for damage. I use a small sandwich sized tupperware container for a simple medical kit. If you put that in the main compartment, you're just about done when it come to room. This is the first time I've encountered the situation where a bag actually is SMALLER on the inside than it looks like it would be looking at the outside! Usually, you're telling the opposite story about a backpack or other piece of luggage.

The much touted built-in cooler looks like it could do a pretty good job, but expect to get a wet posterior, as there is a drain hole on the bottom of the diaper bag right over your rear end. Even just sweat from a few chilled juice cups are going to leave a nice wet spot in a very improper place. Actually, that drain hole has a metal grommet around it. My backpack arrived with the material around that grommet torn away and frayed. I'm pretty handy, but about the only way that could be repaired is to install a new, larger grommet. Not something I care to have to do for a brand new $90 backpack before I ever use it for the first time! I'd be more tempted to seal that hole to avoid a wet butt.

Also, don't expect your $90 backpack to arrive with much fanfare. Mine was shipped to me in a simple clear plastic bag, loosely "sealed" by folding the bag over and sticking on one piece of clear tape. A small tag was attached to one of the carabiners, and a very crumpled "tips sheet" was stuck in the outside compartment. No warranty card, no documentation, not even a 1/2 box or anything close to retail packaging. The "shipping container" was nothing more than yet another plastic bag with a UPS label on it. For the better part of $100, I'd have to say that, yes, I expected it to be shipped in a box.

I have to say that for all the hype, this was an extreme disappointment. All the professional reviews and advertisements basically state that this diaper backpack is the end-all, be-all solution. In my opinion, it is far from a solution for anyone. I don't think it would've been useful even when I only had one infant. I also have two older teenagers, and I have to say that they have purchased better backpacks for school each year for $25 than this $90 Baby Sherpa. One year the older kids ended up with $25 backpacks that were not only better designed, but weren't damaged, had more real room in them, and came with a free, insulated lunchbox that attached to the bottom of the backpack, giving it a really nice, one-piece look. I wish I could find one of those, as I would just use it, be happier, and at almost 1/4 of the total price of a Baby Sherpa.

Save your money, and shop around in the normal backpack area of Wal-Mart, Target, etc. I think this has to be the most overated product that I've been suckered into buying in a very, very long time. Even if it was $25, I don't think I could recommend it to anyone because of how compartmentalized it is. the rest of the bag seemed to be a nice quality build, but the torn grommet is cause for concern, and another review here reports of a torn seam. So, if your $90 isn't getting you neither a better design nor better quality, what is it getting you? Correct answer: A smaller wallet that will fit in the tiny side pocket of a Baby Sherpa that you regret buying!

This back pack is overrated. The design is not what it is cracked up to be. The pockets are annoying, particularly the big bottom pocket that should have dual zipper system but doesn't. You always have to reach the bottom to get to the zipper and it is hard to close it all the way so items are always falling out. In addition, the clips on the straps for toys are in a horrible spot. If you are carrying your child at the same time you have the back pack on, it can poke your child in the eye.

Besides having a bad design, the quality of the Baby Sherpa is poor. The inner seam on ours came apart after only using it over a 9 month timeframe on an infrequent basis. When we contacted the company they sent an email implying that we had misused the bag in some way to cause the seam to come apart. To get it fixed, we would have to pay for shipping. We will not bother repairing this bag before we throw it in the trash. We have many other back packs that have been used for years that never had a problem like this. We recommend that you buy something for $25 rather than waste $100 on a piece of crap like this.

I bought this because I made my own baby food, and needed something to it keep cool. It worked great for about the first month, then seemed to fall apart. The stitching came apart on one of the buckles on the shoulder straps; that ended up coming apart. And the seem came apart on the back of the back pack. I wasn't rough with it, and used it as a 'normal' baby bag. It seemed like it was made cheap, and not what I expected for a $75 product. The idea and the function of the back pack is great, but the quality is poor. I ended up returning it.

I was excited about ordering this bag, but after reading the reviews I was a little hesitant. My brother had this bag for 8 years. Well I should have listened to the reviews. The quality of the materials used have noticeably gone down hill since my brother bought his. On the one I ordered, less then a months use, the inner divider seam completely unraveled. It was big enough to carry everything I needed and then some. So, it wasn't stuffed or over packed. I am extremely disappointed, because the style of the bag was perfect for my needs. I returned it with no problem.

I had purchased a Baby Sherpa Short Haul six years ago when my first child was born and we used the life out of that bag. It was perfect for us, but after so many years of heavy use (and baby #4 arriving), I decided to order the bigger Baby Sherpa. WOW, what a difference in the two bags. The materials on the new bag are absolute garbage! It feels like a cheap knock-off that you'd buy at a flea market. The diaper changing mat is also made of a cheaper material and I don't envision it holding up well with two kids in diapers. I really wanted to love this bag, since our other one served us so well...what a shame that this manufacturer has chosen to source cheaper materials. I'll most likely be contacting them directly to see about a refund. What a disappointment!

Dr. Sears Nibble Tray, Yellow/Green, 12 Months

Dr. Sears Nibble Tray, Yellow/Green, 12 MonthsI got this tray last week, and we've used it for every meal since. My 19 month old son became a very picky eater and stopped feeling adventurous when it came to trying new foods. I put a few of his favorites in the nibble tray and then sneak in some new foods or some that he's tried before but isn't crazy about in the other tray areas. He still goes for his favorites, but he also works his way through the other food. Except for one thing that he really doesn't like, he has at least tried everything else I've put in it, and he's eaten a lot more of things that he previously wasn't interested in. He gets a variety of foods for a balanced meal, and he gets to control what order and how much he eats. The dip tray is handy too.

A possible con for some folks might be that it can't be microwaved. I don't ever microwave plastic, so this doesn't bother me at all. We use it for cold or dry foods (cheese, breads, fruit, etc.), but I guess you could warm something in a different dish and then add it to the tray once warm. The plastic is BPA free.

I will likely be ordering another one of these to use at daycare.

I have used this nibble tray for myself! It has great little compartments for your own snacks, and I even use it for condiments for salads. The only downside is that it's not leak-proof.

I send my 1 year old to daycare with this wonderful food tray. As some other reviews state, it is not leak-proof, but with dry food he stays cleaner anyway. I'll fill the tray up with avocado, olives, pickles, tomatoes, frozen peas, canned beans, cheese, cheerios, fruit you name it. This gets you away from the feeling that you need to send a sandwich every day, and allows you to give your little one a large variety of fruits and vegetables instead. I'm surprised that some people are saying it's too small for a toddler remember, their stomach is only as big as their fist this tray holds plenty of food for your average little one (and I've never even used the dip tray). *Update my son is 2 now (yes, I'm so enthusiastic about this, I'm re-reviewing it) and I send him with this tray, sans dip tray, and one extra small serving of yogurt or cottage cheese or a half sandwich on super skinny bread (in a separate container, or course), and he's full.

I tried to use this as her regular meal plate, not just a snack tray, since I love the idea of a variety of food for my picky 2.5 year old. I end up putting rice or pasta in 4 of the spaces then peas or bits or olive or tiny chunks of cheese or tiny bits of fruit in the other spaces. All the spaces are really tiny. Too small for using a utensil. No yogurt or applesauce. Really just good for finger foods. Good for cereal, hummus/crackers, cut fruit I(great for grapes) or carrots, anything really tiny.

I really wanted to like this. Pineapple! So cute! But the lids didn't fit tightly enough, particularly the dip lid, and it leaked peanut butter in my lunch box. Then I realized that the compartments of the pineapple were too tiny for carrot sticks or seaweed. And then the lid ripped on only it's second go through the dishwasher. I sadly returned it. It's not well-made, even if it is the most obscenely cute snack tray ever. I'll stick with my trusty snap locks.

Eco Baba - Stainless Steel 12oz. Baby Bottle (Pink)

Eco Baba - Stainless Steel 12oz. Baby BottleI have been looking for a durable, safe bottle and I am so glad I found this one for my baby. Its durable, stylish, and most importantly safe. I like the fact that I can easily find wide nipples from several brands that fit this. I also love that I can continue to use this thru toddlerhood by replacing the nipple out with a sippy spout which is also sold by Ecobaba. The only thing that is missing is that the bottle does not have ounce markers on the inside or the outside, which would have been nice especially when measuring out how much formula to put. Overall, its a nice, solid eco friendly bottle.

*Review Update*

I just wanted to mention that the best replacement nipples for this bottle is the Dr. Brown's Wide Neck nipples. I tried the Avent Wide Neck on this bottle and it would not allow the ring to screw on properly. Also, the nipple provided with the bottle is only a slow flow (for younger babies) so its best to purchase faster flow nipples to along with this. Overall I am still very happy with this bottle (2 months later) and just ordered the soft sippy spout since I will begin to transition this to a sippy cup. Also, I have to mention that I keep getting, "Where'd you get that bottle? Its so cool!" So apparently everyone else thinks its an awesome looking bottle! ;)

Green Eats 4 Pack Feeding Spoons and Forks , Yellow

Green Eats 4 Pack Feeding Spoons and Forks , YellowWe are making our best effort to purchase items that are made in the USA (or more specifically not made in China). It was a difficult task to find baby spoons everything on the shelf at my local Target & BRU was from China. :( So, we were excited to find this set on amazon made in the USA from recycled milk jugs.

They have worked out great! We have been using them since our son starting eating solids at 4 months old. They are lightweight and I like the size. As others have stated, they are a little short for certain baby food packages, but most of the time I am feeding out of a bowl so it isn't a big deal for me.

The spoons and forks are probably the right size for beginning eater or little one learning how to self feed. They are much too small for my 19 MO. and/or 3 YR. The spoons are actually the same as the ones included in the tea set by this same company....i love them in the tea set just not so much for a meal.

I like that this company is making safer plastic dinnerware for children. It is a step up. However, no one is thinking about what the plastic is made out of aside from BPA, phthalates, melamine, PVC, or other known harmful synthetics. These are just some that have been brought out into the open, there are likely more that haven't been tested yet. There is one obvious problem with this plastic that everyone is overlooking (the rage is all about BPA mainly right now), and that is the fact that the main ingredient to make this plastic is petroleum. I'm not convinced that these are "green" dishes being that #2 plastic does not break down in the environment and petroleum...well I can't imagine eating food off of solidified/modified petroleum. Not to mention the other synthetics that have yet to be mentioned. #2 plastic is considered one of the safest plastics, but considered doesn't mean guaranteed safe. There are better options out there (especially for the current high price of these!). Stainless steel and tempered glass dinnerware for kids are alternatives to plastic. Stainless steel might be a better bet for very young children since even tempered glass can break if impacted hard enough. Plastic is plastic, some are better than others, but all plastic has its hazards. Let's face it, we wouldn't be looking at "Green Eats" dishware if we weren't concerned about what our children are eating off of.

Nestle Cerelac Banana 400gI love Amazon for carrying this. Gosh, I have the fondest memories when I was a little kid eating this...just the aroma of it as I mix it in with hot water makes me smile.

It's so freaking delicious, I don't know how anyone (especially kids) won't like it. The taste is distinctively different & tasty compared to other foods by Gerber etc.

TRY IT...it's just so worth it. I used to have to drive to specialty groceries to buy this, but now many food markets have it but are overpriced. So thanks amazon!!

I love this baby cereal. I have been looking for this Nestle baby cereal in most grocery stores in the US, but I couldn't find it. so I have to import from my own country because my both kids love it so much. This product has turned out to be great my baby finally eats baby cereal. The baby cereal available locally i.e. Gerber turn out to be very bland and therefore difficult for the baby to eat. I started my baby on this cereal at 5 months. And I definately recommend this cereal to mums especially when you are having difficulty in feeding your baby cereal. Thumbs up to the product.
