Kiddopotamus Luxe BeddieBye

Kiddopotamus Luxe BeddieBye - BlueWhen I had my daughter, I researched EVERYTHING I bought. I just LOVE these!!! I highly suggest these as a "must have" for any new mom. They are SOOO soft and I didnt have to worry about blankets up around her face. I purchased one for every day of the week! The only negative thing I can say is I wish they made them for older babies, toddlers and adults. As always, thank you Amazon. I can rely on Amazon for the lowest price on anything I buy! I

They are the perfect solution to keep baby warm during winter, without having to worry about the covers creeping over him/her. The material is great wash after wash, and it makes a nice gift for newborn babies. There is a long sleeve version too!

Baby Brezza Non Slip Cutting Board

Baby Brezza Non Slip Cutting BoardI thought this would be the perfect cutting board for the Brezza but it's far too small I have a hard time cutting full size vegetable on it. Another negative is it stains easily.

I really liked the idea of this board but it is not quality. After one use it has all sorts of deep marks on it. It will not last and small and inconvenient. I never use it anymore.

I am really impressed with this cutting board. As first I thought I wouldn't like it much (it was a gift). But, I have found I really like using it. The hole is really helpful for putting the food into the brezza unit or blender. I really like the grooves, too, because they really make cutting the fruit so much simpler. The nonskid bottom really works well, too. It's now one of my favorite kitchen items.

This worked fine for the idea, but I found it to be way too small to use for very much food. If I even wanted to chop up a sweet potato I ran out of room on the board. So, I would say it is not worth the money at all!

There's nothing special about this board. I don't find it any more useful than a regular chopping board. I do use it but don't find it necessary to use with my baby food maker.

Yummy Spoonfuls Mushy Yummy Organic, 4-Ounce Tubs (Pack of 12)

Yummy Spoonfuls Mushy Yummy Variety Pack, 4-Ounce TubsI wrote a few other reviews regarding this company. There is only maybe 2-2.5 oz of food in each cup. The food was fine but after I contacted the company about my discovery I got the run around. I ordered two different times thinking it was a fluke but it was not. Go with Jack's Havest brand. They do not lie about how much food you are getting and they do not package in wasteful containers.

This Yummy Spoonfuls baby food is organic and fresh-tasting, almost like homemade baby food. And my baby loves it. However, there's not really much of a difference between this brand and the shelf-stable organic baby food in pouches. In fact, the latter are much more convenient because, unlike the Yummy Spoonfuls brand, the pouched baby food can be easily transported without refrigeration, e.g., in a diaper bag. In addition, there's not much of a difference between these "Mushy Yummy" meals and the "Creamy Yummy" baby foods. The "Mushy" baby food is more of a coarse puree than actual textured food. Therefore, this may not be the ideal baby food for helping your baby learn to eat textured solid foods. Perhaps this "Mushy Yummy" food may prove useful as in "in-between" step if your little-one is having trouble transitioning from smooth purees to textured baby food. Otherwise, you might was well save yourself the money, time and trouble involved in purchasing, storing and heating up frozen "live" baby food, and go with a shelf-stable, organic brand like Plum Organics, Ella's Kitchen or Happy Baby.

A final, albeit minor point. For all the expense involved, I expected the product (packaging) to look at least somewhat professional. The product I received had labels that looked like they'd been printed on someone's home computer/printer. And the labels stated that the tubs of baby food were 6 ounces each, when it was clear that they were no more than 4 ounces a piece.

My 10 month old son has been a fan of Yummy Spoonfuls from his first bite. The Garden Medley flavor is a new favorite. The puree is thick and almost creamy, perfect for a baby who likes his food to have texture. He's always happy when I bring a cup of this to his tray!

After trying several organic jar baby foods in the grocery store & deciding that I would not feed them to my dog let alone my baby, my husband and I decided to make our own organic baby food. Feeling a little overwhelmed I decided to try yummy spoonfuls. It is an AMAZING baby food. The only ingredients it contains are the organic fruit/veggie/grain and maybe some water. The best part is, it actually tastes like the orignal item and looks like it. (for some reason bananas in the store are a pink/cream color yuck) My husband and I now have made several items on our own, but I still purchase from Yummy Spoonfuls because of the convenience. The only con is that the food is a little expensive and you have to have some freezer space, but I would even pay extra for potatoes, peas and blueberries just because of the labor intensive process that goes in to making them. The customer service is great and I feel good knowing that I am feeding my baby healthy food with only natural ingredients.

My baby loves all varieties of Yummy Spoonfuls and this is the best fresh, organic food on the market. Well worth the price if you don't have time to make your own. Shipments arrive fully frozen and are ready to pop right in the microwave from the freezer. The taste is amazing! I'm so glad I found their products!

Happy Bellies Organic Baby Cereals with DHA + Pre & Probiotics, 7 Ounce Canisters (Pack of 6)

Happy Bellies Organic Baby Cereals with DHA Plus Pre and Probiotics, Oatmeal, 7-Ounce CanistersI am a new mom, and have heard amazing things about HappyBaby's Oatmeal. So, when I got on Amazon to purchase some I was surprised/concerned to see some of the negative reviews about off-coloring and bad smells. I wrote to the company to inquire about the issues people were mentioning, and I got a very good response, almost immediately, from the company. The Director of QA said that the problem was limited to one batch of oatmeal only and is no longer a problem. I thought other parents shopping on Amazon might find his response helpful:

"...this is not a food safety issue, so there's no need to worry. It is, however, an "off product" quality issue, and is caused by oxidation of the oils in the grain (oxidative rancidity), usually by the nitrogen flush we put into the can leaking out due to abuse, improper seaming, etc. The reaction (with oxygen) is a lot like leaving a peeled banana on the table too long...yucky, but not dangerous, so your child is not in any danger. The black flecks are oxidized pieces of the cereal bran, which are usually colourless.

Our June production lot was particularly susceptible to this, so we did two things. First, we strengthened the antioxidant portion of the formula (mixed tocopherols), and the problem literally went away. Secondly, we reached out to our warehouses and store shelves, and replaced as much of the June production lot as we could. However, given the size and complexity of the supply chain, it's nearly impossible to get a 100% catch here, so invariably, some cases stayed around. "

This response really impressed me and made me feel much more confident about purchasing HappyBaby products in the future. They acted quickly, and responded thoroughly and honestly to the issue. They truly seem committed to their mission of supplying customers with the highest quality ingredients...and customer service! I will for sure be buying more HappyBaby products in the future.

This was the first solid food I fed my then 4-month old baby and from the first time, he loved it. I initially mixed it with breast milk (1 tsp cereal and 4 tsp of breast milk for the first feeding, then less liquid to make it less messy to feed) but now, I mix it with some hot water or other food (vegetable or fruit purees). Whenever I introduce a new vegetable that I suspect my son might not like right away, I mix 1 tbsp or more of rice cereal and it usually works like a charm. Zucchini puree by itself = spit up. Zucchini puree mixed in with HappyBellies rice cereal = happy baby.

Granted that I haven't tried other brands, except for the Gerber Barley cereal, the line of HappyBellies cereals has been fantastic for us. My son loves it and he's never had any stomach problems since he's on it.

The empty containers can be recycled, or used as toys for your baby. I usually but a few (unbreakable) items inside. My son loves shaking it and playing drums on it.

I also love the convenience of Amazon shopping, especially since this brand can be sometime hard to find in stores.

Parents, before buying this stuff, do quick Google search for The Cornucopia Institute's report entitled "Replacing Mother Imitating Human Breast Milk in the Laboratory" or follow this link:

This Happy Bellies rice cereal contains Martek Corporation's laboratory-produced oils containing DHA and ARA. As we all know by now, DHA and ARA are considered important nutrients for rapidly developing infants. But laboratory-produced DHASCO and ARASCO (Martek's names for their proprietary oils) are materially different from the fats found in a mother's breast milk. Martek's products are extracted from fermented algae and fungus, with the use of the synthetic solvent hexane, a neurotoxic chemical. They contain only 40 to 50% DHA and ARA, with the balance being sunflower oil, diglycerides, and nonsaponifiable materials.

These components are not found in human breast milk, and the triglycerides carrying DHA and ARA are not identical to

those found in human breast milk, and have never been part of the diet for human infants. Most frighteningly, neurotoxic chemicals -which are NOT organic in any way -are used to manufacture these oils. These oils are not organic, are not regulated or approved by the USDA or FDA, and are added in violation of federal organic regulation.

The authors of the report investigated how a toxic chemical is used as processing agents in the manufacturing process, the inadequate testing for safety, and most importantly, how some infants are experiencing serious adverse reactions from consuming formula and foods supplemented with these oils.

"This report presents a disturbing look at the addition of novel ingredients into infant formula," says Marsha Walker, Executive Director of the National Alliance for Breastfeeding Advocacy. "The FDA has received scores of reports on the adverse effects of these ingredients, but, to date, the public's only access to these is through Cornucopia's Freedom of Information Act request. This report will help alert the health care community and federal agencies to some of the adverse effects of added DHA and ARA in infant formulas."

The full report can be viewed on The Cornucopia Institute's web page.

I love that these products are gluten free. My first child got a terrible rash on her face from her "first cereals" and it was hard to find out what was causing it. The baby cereals that are out there "may contain traces of wheat" while they are supposed to be the best first food. Not true fir those with gluten and wheat sensitivities and/or allergies. Way to go Happy Baby.

This is the first cereal my 6 month old has been given and he really LOVES it. I drove my self crazy doing all kinds of research for a safe, BPA free cereal, then drove myself crazy looking at all the research on DHA, and so on. Finally I decided to go ahead and give this a try. Unfortunately there is no perfect baby cereal on the market at this time, but this product is pretty close. And my baby seems to really enjoy it. I will say my local target is currently selling it for only $3.19 a can, which is a little cheaper than amazons current price.

Skip Hop Mate Feeding Plate and Utensils

Skip Hop Mate Feeding Plate and Utensils - RaspberryI ordered this plate because my youngest son, at 21 months, loves to throw his food, plate, bowl, utensils, etc. He is a great eater, but as soon as he's done, things start flying. I took a chance ordering this plate online, but I'm definitely happy with it. It's quite a bit smaller than I thought it would be, but it's the perfect size for a toddler. I wish the mat had suction cups, but it's a firm plastic with non-skid silicone strips on the bottom. It doesn't move very easily, and because of the shape of the edges, my son can't easily get his fingers under it. He also loves that the fork and spoon fit onto the mat, and enjoys putting them on and off the posts, as well as putting his fingers through the holes in the utensils, rather than throwing them. And, when the plate in snapped into the mat, he can't remove it. So far, he has been able to push it away from him, with quite a bit of effort (as opposed to a normal plate), but hasn't tried to pick it up. I think the smiley face design is cute enough to leave on the table between meals, and my 3-year-old is already asking us to buy one for him (although I think he's a little old for it). Overall, I like it and would buy it again.

My 12 month daughter makes a mess out of meal time. We have always fed her off the table top but I wanted to start feeding her off of a plate. I purchased the Boon no slip plate but all she did was pick the plate off the table and hand it back to me. It is so light that it was relatively easy to pick it up. So the Skip Hop plate was my next attempt at feeding off of something other than a table.

I have found that nothing short of nailing it to a table will prevent any child from picking it up. With a good amount of effort, she was able to pick this base w/plate up, but it is bulkier and heavier than any plate out there. There are also tacky grips on the bottom so it prevents her from pushing the base across the table. She cannot push the base plate for sure, but she can pick it up if she set her mind to it. I try to distract her by giving her the fork and spoon. Now she tries to spear food with her fork and no longer tries to lift the entire plate. I suppose spearing is more of a challenge than lifting. I have to say that the fork and spoon are a good size for her hands and a good shape for picking up food.

Lastly, she has been able to separate off the white plate from the base by grabbing the dividers and spill food. But I have found that spreading a little olive oil on the dividers have positively foiled any attempts at picking off the white plate. I know it sounds like a lot of work, but it makes for a cleaner meal.

I wish that they sold extra utensils and white plates so I don't have to wash it after every meal. I definitely don't want to pay for a new set and base!

I wanted to use this on my son's high chair, but the mat is too big to fit. When placed on the kitchen table it slides around. It doesn't move as easily as if there were no mat, but the purpose of purchasing it was so it wouldn't move at all. The concept is great....only if it served it's purpose.

Before purchasing this, our one-year old son mashed and smashed his food all over the place. This has helped him learn to just put the food straight into his mouth. The non-skid rubber really helps and it is dishwasher safe, always a plus. I highly recommend this item.

Want Skip Hop Mate Feeding Plate and Utensils Discount?

This plate is not worth its money. The placemat claims to be stay-put, but it moves very easily. It only has very small skidproof strips on the bottom, and when my 8-month old tugs at it, it slides around. Also, she very easily picks the plate up by using the dividers it does not lock into place at all. Food also falls into the crevice around the plate, and all over the placemat. It's not really practical because then I just end up washing two plates instead of one. I wanted to use this with a tray-less high chair that attaches to a table, but now I've decided to go with the fisher price booster Fisher-Price Healthy Care Deluxe Booster Seat Blue/Green/Gray that has a tray already so there is no need for a plate, and is a good alternative to having a big ugly high chair. The whole booster seat is just a little more than this plate cost!

E-Ware Dual-Layer Multi-Purpose Large Food Steamer (EW-5K118)

E-Ware Dual-Layer Multi-Purpose Large Food SteamerI have 7 months old Twins. Recently, I've decided to cook for them. I'm so happy that I bought E-ware 5k118 BPA Free Baby Food Steamer. It's a great steamer!!! Fast, easy, and healthy ( BPA Free!!!!). I would recommend this product.

After have been using the steamer for 7 months, I throw it away because it's developing rust from the knob area. That rust can drip into baby food. Be aware!!!

Now I rate it 2 stars.

BPA was the selling point for me and plus 3L really good. After owning this a couple of months now about 4 in all. The handle on the top glass had broken off due to the steam build-up of heat in it. Odd but it just broken off. That's the only weakness about it. I had removed the black knob and replace it with a metal one and I was back in business. The unit has head rod in the bottom and you don't want that anything less than Teflon otherwise it going to be hard to clean. I just drop some 1/4 of cup of white vinegar into it and set it to 15 minutes to get off the scale deposits build-ups. I really enjoy using this unit. Very easy to clean in my dishwasher. All 4 parts except the base can go into the dishwasher. The unit can steam 1 cup of rice in 30 mins. You can replace your microwave and keep you your dinner in 10-15 mins. Steam heat is far batter than dried out dinners in the microwave.

I steam all my organic veggies raw or frozen. Same with Salmon frozen takes about 45 mins to defrost and cook. Place the fish on the bottom and the rest on top. It does come with large rice bowl. You can add frozen jumbo shrimps and frozen veggies into the rice blow with the raw grain rice. It all comes out great in the end and that takes about 30 mins. I even throw in those Thai noodles. Hard baking potatoes can cook in 30 minutes.

Basically to use this unit just add cold water tot he base and up to the level. Water last a very long time though.

Timer is analog but 0 5 15 20 25 30 40 45 50 55 60 minutes.

If you want to steam more get this item do beware of the cover knob can break off after many usages.

Update 4.25.12

I use this steamer pretty much every day, but now it's developing rust from the knob area. I see that someone else has reported this issue. That rust can drip into your food and you don't want that. the Screw and washer is metal. That's the issue. You would have to wipe them down both. Mine is starting to leak also in the water base. So the only parts that have no issues are the two BPA free plastic container. I'll miss using this one. It's suppose to be under warranty, I'll try go after them about it. In the meantime I have gone with the Westinghouse Tritec CVS Oven that has Steam Oven Feature you add water or you can add wine to water for your cooking with wet or dry steam. It has a conventional fan. Process seems simple enough that it should get here today from Amazon. I don't like using a Microwave since food doesn't come out moist more like dry or tough. With the e-ware BPA food steamer was great to rewarm cooked food. Cook all different rice types along with frozen salmon and more..

e-ware web site reports this unit has 2 years warranty, but the price I had paid for it, not worth me to pack it-up and send it back with insurance on it. The same one going to do the same thing.

Update 11.2.12

I am still using this product for steaming still does the job. I have now switched from white vinegar to citric acid to descale the base. I was also thinking about replacing the unit with another one since I know what to expect from it. The dual containers will fit into your sink if you have dual sink. They can be use for cleaning veggies and etc. also like a strainer would be use. I giving this one 3 stars it should get 4 but what you pay for you get something you really don't see from the other makers. Westinghouse Tritec CVS Oven does the same instead of the 3L you get 22L. But this one here E-Ware heats up 75% faster than Westinghouse Tritec. If you need dry wet steam you would use the Tritec it gives you two options for steaming. The E-Ware is just wet steam but powerful. Also the main base container for use in steamer does change color. As you can see it looks cloudy white that can change to dull off white color.

I make my daughter's baby food and this steamer works PERFECTLY. It wasn't easy finding any other steamer that is BPA free, this one states it clearly on the box as well, apparently other sellers have advertised BPA free steamers, when in fact, they are not. I have found that butternut squash and some other gourds have stained the plastic a tiny bit. Also, washing by hand with a dish brush gets the baskets cleaner than the dishwasher, they clean up easily. The steamer nub in the bottom also got that filmy white water scale after my second use, it might depend on the type of water you have but I read that using lemon water should loosen that right up, I have yet to try it myself and just scrub it down after every use. From what I understand, the water scale happens in all steamers, so other than that it couldn't be better. It was a great price and has made making my baby's food a breeze. I chose this over an all in one baby food maker because I can do so much more food at one time. It is also more cost efficient, I puree using a Cuisinart Smart Stick that was under $30. Clean up is sooo easy, and these products have actually made making her food fun. An added tip for others making baby food; use silicone molds to freeze your food in (I love Fat Daddio's silicone, they have fun shapes and a variety of sizes) then transfer them to freezer bags. Hope this helps!

The steamer worked fine for what it is, but the screw and the washer that fastens the handle to the lid started rusting after a couple months use. You'd have to be rather diligent in keeping the lid dry to keep the rust from occurring.

The construction of this particular steamer is rather crude without a whole lot of engineering. Basically, the heating element sits in a pool of water, connected to a timer. Of course, steamers don't have to be complicated to work well, and this steamer did the job for me more or less.

Still, the ways the manufacturer went about in cutting the corners in building the product do leave a lot to be desired. When I first received the steamer, I found the finish of the product to be poor with plastic bits from manufacturing still left on the steamer parts. Also, the plastic used on the steamer body are quite thin and has some sharp edges that cut me on a couple of occasions. The biggest problem by far though, the material they chose for the fasteners of the handle to the glass lid. The screws and the washer started rusting after a couple months of use, and it drips rust onto the food while steaming. While rust isn't toxic really, I'd rather find another way to deliver iron into my boy's food supply.

Why the manufacturer decided not to use 18/10 SS for the parts that are in contact with water constantly is beyond me. If the manufacturer can rectify the rust problem, I would give the steamer 4 stars only because I believe this still is the only steamer that has BPA free parts. As is, I can't recommend this product for any purposes unfortunately.

I was surprised to find teflon-coated (or at least looking and feeling very much like teflon-coated) heating element in BPA-free baby food steamer. BPA-free but with teflon? No thanks.

Innobaby Five Tier Packin' Smart Storage System

Innobaby Five Tier Packin' Smart Storage System, Blue HeavenI bought 2 models. This one is a pain in the neck.Using it,opening the compartment to fill etc.Buy Innobaby Four Tier Travels Stack N Seal Food Storage System instead of this one.I know this one looks much more cute, which made me order it at the first place. However I am very happy that I ordered the Four Tier Travels Stack N Seal as well, which is much more convenient, spacier etc.

I bought this product because i wanted a cute way to store dried formula in my diaper bag. Well it sure is cute but thats about it. My big gripe with it is 1, the price (20 dollars for a formula holderwell as a new mom i looked past that because it was so darn cute but come on now!) and 2, the time it takes to clean it. It is not dishwasher safe (the box basically says its risky to wash it in the dishwasherand after paying the hefty price tag i wasnt going to risk that). This container squeezes to open on groved sides making its easy for nasty things to find its way into that groved part and its impossible to cleanluckily thats the outside of the container. The inside has 5 tiers, 4 tier tops, a bottom and a top that all remove and have to be hand washed and dried to avoid water spots. Plus, I always get a little freaked with hand washing newborn food containersi just feel they should be sanitized in the dishwasher. Also, this product is a lot bigger than i thought it would be which wasnt a big deal for me just a surprise. I bought 2 of these and it literally took me 30 min to hand wash and dry them. Im not even exaggerating and i promise im not an overly OCD like mom either. I am not sure how durable they are because i havent diaper bag tested them yet but the container says not to put liquid in them as they will leak! i hope the dried formula doesnt also find its way out. they look pretty strong but i would be heart broken after all of that washing and the price tag if the plastic easily cracked. We shall see.

Bottom-line, they are extremely cute.. so if you are willing to spend a lot of time washing and drying this product in the name of cuteness go for it!

After spending a significant amount of time "playing" with both this storage system and the Innobaby Four Tier Stack N Seal Pattern Storage System, Fruit at a local store, I purchased the later. First of all, both containers are very cute, but the Innobaby Four Tier can hold both WET and DRY foods. It has a very secure, screw-on top (this Innobaby Five Tier does not screw on, it has a press and pull system and a lot of air can get in thereby decreasing the "freshness" factor). This means that even if you were to purchase the container for dry foods only, your foods will stay fresher for a longer time with the screw top model. The screw top Four Tier model is very sturdy and can withstand a lot (I throw my diaper bag everywhere) without spilling. Both systems are adorable but the store model for the Five Tier had food in the crevices where you push and pull the compartments apart (gross and difficult to clean I'd imagine). The Four Tier is also cute, cheaper (though you get four instead of five compartments) and your food stays fresher longer. Buy the Innobaby Four Tier Stack N Seal Pattern Storage System, Fruit instead.

This formula/snack storage system is pretty neat because it allows me to take as little or as much snacks and such with me on the go. The parts snap together and come apart pretty easily, and I like that there is a separate division for the parts that is also removable. I can just give one of the parts to my toddler without removing the divider hole, and it makes less mess in the car. For travel, I would probably bring more of the snacks in the diaper bag and refill when needed as my toddler can basically finish up a whole bag of her favorite snacks (like yogurt melts) in one sitting if we let her. Would be nice if there was some way to contain the liquids with this type of container but i know they have a different product for that as well that I will be trying out.

Want Innobaby Five Tier Packin' Smart Storage System Discount?

I bought this one as well as the stackable 3 tier. I have the same problem with both of them, they break open if they're dropped. I've dropped both of them twice so far and they have split open in the middle and spilling out all the contents. My daughter who is 17 months likes to carry around her snacks and she's dropped the container once and the same thing happened. This was a little surprising to me as she was pretty close to the ground and the container didn't have very far to drop. I would recommend the Zo-Li snack container as those have to be screwed on and are much more durable. I have both the 5 tier and 3 tier snack containers and love them. I wanted to try out the Innobaby because the design was sooooo cute, but it doesn't work for me. Also, you can't really store that much in each section. I think it's intended for light snackers or kiddies that are under 18 months.

He did chew off part of the bottom on the fork, but other than that they are still in good condition 2 years later. We are buying a second set for our 2-yr-old son. We haven't had any problems putting them in the dishwasher. Durable, cute and easy for toddlers to eat with.

Perfect set. I purchased one for both of my sons. I would've purchased two more sets if they were a little less expensive. They are durable and the perfect size for my two year old and five year old.

My 2 1/2 year old daughter chewed/tore off the bottom two rings of the rubberized handle her first meal using these. Despite us telling her to stop, we eventually had to take them away. I guess they're tasty?

Besides that, they ARE a nice size for toddlers, and the fork tines actually pierce foods, unlike many toddler utensils on the market. Why a knife is included I'll never know...but it's not sharp. Toddler can play at pretending she has a knife I guess.

They come in a too-large-for-your-diaper-bag container...which you CANNOT put in the dishwasher because it melts down to nothing. AT least it's recyclable but what a waste of plastic (fossil fuel).

organicKidz 2 Pack Wide Mouthed Nipples

organicKidz 2 Pack Wide Mouthed Nipples, Medium FlowI had the Fast flow that came with the bottle I bought and thought wow, this is way too big, maybe the medium flow will be better for my six month old. I was wrong, this one is also way too big! I am assuming this is intended for people who put cereal in their baby bottles, we don't do that. This hole is way too big even for fast flow, baby chocked on the milk first time I tried using it when he turned 9 months because it was still way too much. I don't recommend these nipples at all, stick with Mam or other brands that have normal sized, small holes so baby does the work and can transition to sippy cup easier.

I am a huge proponent of feeding children primarily organic and/or locally grown foods to promote proper nutrition and growth. But I do not feel that all organic brands are equal. I've tried many varieties (including store brands and others only available through internet purchase) and found that Earth's Best is by far the best for your money.

Antioxidant Variety Pack

We've loved this variety so far. I never noticed it when my son was eating baby food, but now my daughter has one at least once a day. They tend to be a veggie heavy variety and my daughter would rather have veggies than fruit most days. The only one in the variety she can't eat so far is the Banana Mango, because of an allergy to mangos, but I'm hoping to save those for a later date when she can tolerate it better.

The only thing I didn't like about this product was that when I initially was deciding to purchase it I couldn't find out what varieties were included in the pack. So for your information they are: Carrot Tomato, Sweet Potato Apricot, Apple Butternut Squash, and Banana Mango.

First, since the photo is hard to see and the description doesn't list the "flavors" included, they are:

* Apple Butternut Squash

* Banana Mango

* Carrot Tomato

* Sweet Potato Apricot

Even though my baby isn't a picky eater and eats his veggies willingly, I loved the idea of combining fruit and vegetables. I figure the more flavors I can introduce him to now, the better--maybe I won't end up with a picky toddler! My baby loved all the flavors, and I even ended up buying Earth's Best 2nd Antioxidant Blend Carrot Tomato, 4 Ounce Jars (Pack of 12) because in addition to him liking that one a lot, it's the only Stage 2 food I've found that has tomato in it.

I bought this variety pack countless times, and I highly recommend it to other moms.

I live this variety. The flavors with meat give me the creeps and none of these have meat. The tomato/carrot is my sons favorite. I used it as pasta sauce for him when he started eating finger food.
