Baby Clear Cut Nail Clipper Pigeon (new yellow color Made in Japan)

Baby Clear Cut Nail Clipper PigeonSo this baby nail clipper is AWESOME! We have the pigeon boggie picker PIGEON Baby Nose Cleaning Tweezers Pigeon (Made in Japan) and that thing totally rocks so I figure I would try this nail clipper. Here is the good and the not so good...

THE GOOD:

1. Super Sharp! This thing clips any nail the first time. When working with our wee little one you have to be able to get the nail cut cleanly the first time since they rarely stay still long enough to get a second try.

2. Very Very Well Made. Made in Japan.

3. Good design. It is nice and wide where you hold it which helps keep things controlled and most important accurate. And the clipper is just the right size for baby nails.

THE NOT SO GOOD:

1. Price.... (You get what you pay for so if you want the best then be ready to pay for it.)

2. All the extra plastic bits. There is a 'safety' cover and then there is a yellow surround that "catches" the nails. When I am trying to see exactly what I am cutting all this plastic bits seem to just get in the way. The good news is that they can be removed easily and then put back after your done.

To sum it up this is THE BEST baby nail clipper I have ever used and most importantly it will get the job done quickly and safely.

I've been using this since my baby was a week old. It works very well on cutting his tiny nails. My only complain is it's too expensive!

Trimming your babies nails is never easy of course. BWe tried several other clippers and these just seem to work the best. Each snip always cuts through the nail where others seem to leave part of it hanging. It's easy to grip and we've yet to have a clipping accident with it. Still nice and sharp after 6+ months and working great.

After reading many reviews I went for the best. This nail clipper was a bit expensive, but well worth the price. It is easy to hold while baby squirms, and never have I cut her fingers. Excellent quality too. Looks like it will last.

it's just a regular nail-cutter, but baby-sized and then it widens out for adult-sized thumbs. it does not take out the difficulties of baby nail-cutting in general, but it is better than using regular nail clippers.

Gerber 2nd Foods Organic Baby Food, Pear Spinach, 3.5-Ounce Pouches (Pack of 6)

Gerber 2nd Foods Organic Baby Food, Pear Spinach, 3.5-Ounce PouchesI was pleasantly surprised that this type of packaging makes feeding my 9 mo. old simple. When we're out and about, he can suck the food easily out himself.

I admit there was some problems when we first tried it-he would squeeze too much out, etc. But after getting used to sucking (just like a straw), he can do it easily.

The food pairings seem odd or gross, but if you taste a bit of it, it's really quite tasty. My boy seems to really like it. I only wish a pack of 6 were a bit cheaper. I can buy 1 unit much cheaper at the local grocers. I would think buying in packs of 6 would allow Amazon to offer it at a better price. Guess not. 3/5 stars due to pricing, product alone, I would give a 5.

Ultimate Silicone Teething Feeder - Safe for your Infant - Allow Baby to Self Feed Fresh or Frozen

Ultimate Silicone Teething Feeder - Safe for your Infant - Allow Baby to Self Feed Fresh or Frozen Fruit and Other Food While Massaging His or Her Gums - Soothe the Pain of Teething - Easy to Clean Silicone Sac- Money Back Guarantee, Large, Light Blue/Dark BlueMy daughter has cerebral palsy and we are always looking for ways to work on her strengthening. We were using one of those gauze safety feeders but she hated the texture and refused to chew on it half the time. This safety feeder is much more to her liking. She loves the chewiness of it and we've been able to use it in her therapies to encourage better chewing. We've also put a small wash towel through the handle so she can hold it better. All around a fantastic product for not just babies and toddlers! I will be ordering more soon!

So, I'm a stay at home dad of an 11 month old girl, Ava. I imagine this is meant more for younger babies....without teeth.

But we have discovered an additional use for the teething feeder. This feeder has made mealtime sane again.

Usually about halfway through mealtime, our little princess starts letting her girl power out and proceeds to throw everything

off her tray.....turn her head away from me.....yell at me and spit her food out.....Now I don't really blame her, who wants to

be strapped to a seat and fed peas? Usually around that time I add in some fruit, but by that time the wrath of Ava is usually

already in full force and it just gives her something else to throw.

Enter the teething feeder!

Because she does have teeth, I just put whole blueberries in the teether and handed it to her at the start of her

"transition".

And behold.....shhhhhhh.....silence!

she still kept eating her food, but would just take a little chomp in between on the blueberries. I usually am a little

concerned about the skin, but she just mashed through them and the "meat" came out through the little holes and all the skin

stayed inside....brilliant!

Then she just hung out and let me clean her up while she finished off the blueberries. Mealtime is now a pleasure and I was

actually able to eat as well...imagine that.

I wish I knew about this earlier....will be getting another one to use with number two.

My 6 month old son just loves this chewy. He will chew it for longer than any other toy and you can see he enjoys the fruit. I also lovi it because it comes with a second insert so you can change it on a road trip or something with out having to wash the insert. I just love it! So does my son...

My son is teething and this seems to help ease the pain a bit. I put organic baby food in it and place it in the freezer. He loves to chew on it because its cold and it tastes good. It is also able to hold crushed ice which seems to help him gums. It it also very easy to use and to clean. He is 5 months old and is able to hold it easily because of the large handle. Very happy with it.

Gerber Graduates Fruit Pick Ups, 4.5-Ounce (Pack of 8)

Gerber Graduates Fruit Pick Ups - Diced Apples, 4.5-OunceAs an occasional snack and supplement my 8 month old loves these. They are soft enough that he can eat them with no problem and he is able to pick them up with ease. They do have a fair amount of sugar to them which is why I said occasional.

My wife brought this home from the store the other day and I was amazed at the amount of sugar in them. Every calorie in this comes from sugar. While Gerber doesn't add sugar, apples are naturally very sweet, they do sweeten the apples by placing them in a white grape concentrate. The taste is far too sweet to give to a 10+ month old.

Purchased these for my grandson and he loves them. Can feed himself and I know that he is getting healthy snacks....

These are mushy and juicy and my daughter couldn't actually pick them up. They had to be fed to her with a spoon, even with the juice drained out of them. She didn't like them and they were pretty mushy. Not what I expected.

My little boy is starting to learn how to self feed, and he enjoys these. They are just the right consistency and size for him to practice. The diced carrots are great too. Highly recommend for moms with the do-it myself baby!!

Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature Single Electric Breast Pump System

Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature Single Electric Breast Pump SystemI got this as a shower gift do used it for the first 6 months. However, I never seemed to pump a lot. I thought it was just me not producing a lot of milk. Recently I found a lansinoh double pump on clearance so picked it up. What a difference. On just one breast I extracted the same amount of milk in 1/3 of the time. Luckily I don't have to pump; I just do it to have some stored, but I wish I would have known from the beginning.

Being a first time mom, I thought you had to have all things from the same company so we bought the breast pump because we were using the bottles. This pump has turned out to be the most inefficient, waste of money. Now that I'm wiser and realize I can get a different pump from my bottles, I'm willing to buy a whole new pump because this one is so bad. It has no suction and I spend 10 minutes just trying to get a proper suction, meanwhile, praying that my baby doesn't wake up while I'm pumping because it's taking so long! I want my money back Tommee Tippee!

I purchased this as tommee tippee is a name that I trust so I got everything for feeding from them. The first time I used this it took a long time for anything to happen and then it took a long long time to produce a very small amount of milk. I was worried that I wasn't producing enough so ran to Walgreens and purchased a Medela manual pump. With this I had no problems and was able to fill the bottle in no time.

I didn't want to totally discount the tommee tippee so yesterday I gave it another go. Yet again a disappointment and I ended up using the $35 manual pump. I really hope I can get my money back since there is clearly an issue with the product and not my breasts. I'm doing great with the rest of the tommee tippee range but I'm probably going to buy a Medela electric pump as friends rate it highly.

Very disappointed with this product!

This product is a waste of money. It was leaking air from the moment I bought it, but as a first time mom, I didn't know any better. Now, three months later, the motor is shot. My milk supply is non-existant and I'm out $150. Please do not buy this pump.

I didn't order from Amazon, but bought TWO of these in a 3 month period. Both broke on me and it wasn't like I was using them all the time either. Tried reassembling and everything. The motor is just gone. Condensation gets into it I believe even with best efforts for it not to. Go for a Medela.

Baby Tracker ® - Daily Childcare Schedule Recordkeeper (1 Year Binder - Refillable)

Baby Tracker ® - Daily Childcare Schedule RecordkeeperI found the product description for this item to be ambiguous on both Amazon and the company's own website. I wrote to the company requesting clarification on exactly what type of pages were included in this item, and after waiting a week with no response, decided to just order and see for myself. This tracker will be going back for several reasons.

First the binder is really bulky. The cover is a squishy, soft, and wipe-able material, but it is really bulky. The binder is heavy too. I cannot see carrying this around in my diaper bag (which is something you'd want to be able to do with a tracker like this). Sure, you could take out a few pages to bring along instead . . . but then why not just find a free tracking page online and print a bunch if you're going to do that? The whole point of a binder is having it together and neatly organized and secure, and this binder is just not easily portable.

Second The binder doesn't lay flat. This could be a major issue if you're wanting to hold your baby in one arm and write with the other.

Third The included pages are not what I wanted. I was hoping it would have one package of the newborn, 24-hour tracking pages, and one package of the baby, daytime only tracking pages. Instead it has 2 packs of pages, good for 6 months each (total of 12 months tracking), but they are *both* the baby, daytime only tracking. They aren't even 12 hours either they span 8AM to 6PM. As a first time mother, and a bit of an organizational freak, I was hoping for pages that would be at least 6AM to 6PM. I've spent enough time around other people's kids to know babies, even older babies, wake up early, then want a nap, then wake up again, etc. Sure, you could write in a different wake up time than 8AM, but why? The pages could clearly fit at least a 12 hour span if formatted properly. It would also be nice if the baby tracking pages had a bit of space for writing nighttime issues, in case your older baby isn't sleeping through the night yet, and you want to track when he/she wakes up to see if you notice a pattern or issue. More importantly, as a first time mom and wanting to use this with my newborn, I *really* wanted to have at least one package of the 24-hour newborn pages for this binder! Since those weren't included, I'd have to shell out more cash to go buy the refill pack on the company's own website, since, for some reason, they aren't available on Amazon.

Fourth and probably the smallest of my complaints, I'm not impressed with having asked the company questions about this product and then getting no response. That deters me from wanting to order their products, and especially order directly from them. Luckily I purchased this item from Amazon so I know there will no issues with returning it.

That being said, I also purchased the spiral bound, newborn, 24-hour tracker book from this same company. I looked through it and am quite pleased with it for use when my little guy arrives. I checked out a bunch of different tracking books before purchase and most of them are just blank charts. You have to fill in everything, including times of day. It seems like a little thing but in a sleep deprived fog I do not want to have to think about writing in times. I want to just glance at a clock, notice it's around 8AM, and grab the log to track in the 8AM box. This company's products have the times all charted out already you can just draw arrows for things like naps, how long a feeding took, how long you were active, and then there is space for notes about what you did during that period. I really like how all of that is neatly organized out for me already. The 24-hour pages are perfect for newborn and younger baby tracking too. And best of all, the spiral bound book lays flat and will easily fit in a diaper bag.

I will be sticking to the spiral bound trackers from this company.

This is a great product to use for a nanny or babysitter that is with your baby all day. I love it.
