Farleys Rusks 18s (300gs)

Farleys Rusks 18sI bought this because my mother told me that she fed me farley biscuits when I was little. in states, the recommended age to solid food feeding is 6 months, but I fed my son farley biscuit diluted with water when he was 4 months. the biscuit is easily dissolve and a good introduction food for baby.

I used this or my children when they started solid food and now using for my grandchildren. Good starter food.

The Farleys rusks taste good and my baby girl likes them but they do fall apart completely which is good in one side because it melts in her mouth but no so good on the other side since she needs to bite it for her teething.

A staple early baby food in the UK. My baby loves them mixed into his milk and hopefully as a snack in a couple of months. You can mix these with yogurt, many soft baby foods, break up as finger food, they're great.

Chewable Jewels Circle Necklace (Pink)

Chewable Jewels Circle NecklaceI ordered this for my 2nd grade daughter, who has been sick constantly due to sucking on her fingers and shirt. I wanted to get her something to put in her mouth that wasn't as germ-infested as her fingers. Unfortunately, this didn't work because it was too big to fit in her mouth. It was kind of like trying to suck on a large chocolate chip cookie she couldn't get more than the edge in her mouth so she found it quite unsatisfactory. She wore it for about an hour, and as far as I know it's still in the backyard where she took it off and used it to mark the spot where she planted a pine cone.

I want to be clear that there is nothing inherently wrong with the product it seemed well-made and I liked the fact that the string's length was adjustable just be aware that it's probably too large to fit completely in a child's mouth and so may or may not fit your needs.

Happybaby Organic Baby Food, Stage 3, Beef Stew, 4-ounce Pouch

Happybaby Organic Baby Food, Stage 3, Beef Stew, 4-ounce PouchI gave this flavor to my 6 month old son but he did not like it so I tried to blend it, but still no luck. It does have very strong taste especially for babies who had only veggie and fruit blends. So I mixed the blended beef stew with green beans ( 1,5 oz of beef stew with 3,5oz green beans ) and my baby ate it all no problem. I just think since he did not have any flavor like that before ( tomato, beef, spices ) he just need to get used to the flavor. Sweet peas works too and takes away that sharp tomato taste. I will keep adding less of the veggie blends and I bet he will get used to the taste in no time. So do not give up if your baby doesn't like it right away. I bet you as adults also had some meals first time and did not love it and now are enjoying them ( sushi, oysters..... ) so let your little one get used to new flavor.

My son loved Chick chick and Super salmon right away but I think it is because he had sweet potato and carrots before so he was used to the flavor already.

UPDATE: one week later I have split the packet in two containers and added 1oz. sweet peas and 1oz. carrots, and my baby ate it no problem, likes it a lot when warmed up.

Week after that I just warmed up the packet and my son ate it no problem, loved it as much as chick chick or super salmon.

So if you did not have luck first time do not give up, it took couple tries for us and now he loves it.

I love this baby food. The pouch makes it so easy to bring anywhere. I initially purchased these for having backup food in the diaper bag, but they are so good I will give them to my baby when I don't have the time or energy to make him something. I really like the beef stew because it has great ingredients, including quinoa. I love the Plum Organics brand, too, but the Happy Baby brand seems to add a little more (quinoa, whole wheat pasta) to their foods, creating a great texture for babies who are just past the simple puree stage. And most importantly, my baby gobbles these up--more so than my homemade foods.

I absolutely could not get my son to eat this. Hot, cold, thinned down, mixed in with other foods... nothing could make this appealing to my eight month old kid.

Remwood Prod. 60018 Grandma's Lye Soap

Remwood Prod. 60018 Grandma's Lye SoapIngredients: Food grade lard, lye, water.

Smell: It just smells like unscented soap. Much like Ivory or Neutrogena bar soap. It doesn't smell "porky" or "lardy" to me at all. The smell is a bit strong if you're sniffing the bar, but once you rinse it off your skin, it doesn't leave much of any smell at all on your body.

Shape: It is a large bar of soap, with squared edges. So it's kind of hard to hold it, and use it when you first get it. But after a few days it rounds out a bit, and is fine.

Lather: It lathers up bit, but not very much. So don't be disappointed if you don't get a rich, thick lather from it.

Body soap: It absolutely gets you clean, and scent free. But it leaves a scummy residue behind on your body, even if you rinse well, leaving your skin kind of sticky feeling, exactly like Ivory, or Dial, or Irish Springs bars of soap do. I prefer Dove bar soap, or a liquid soap to wash my body with, since they don't leave me feeling sticky after I get out of the shower.

Shampoo: If you run out of shampoo and conditioner, you *can* use this instead. It will get your hair clean, and allow you to run a comb through it afterwards. BUT... this is not exactly preferable. Your hair will *not* be as soft, shiny, and silky as it would be with a good shampoo and conditioner. However, if you have short hair, it will leave your hair with lots of body and texture, and super easy to style.

Hand soap: I can't get over how soft my hands are. I wash my hands a LOT during the day, and I've always used a bit of fragrance-free Curel lotion, after washing them. Now, even without the lotion, my hands feel incredibly soft.

Rashes: I've had a rash on my wrist for several months now, from my watch. I've tried everything to get rid of it. Stopped wearing the watch, tried anti-fungal cream, neosporin, topical steroid cream. Within two days of using the soap, the rash started going away. I kind of think it must be coincidence. I don't know how a product that doesn't have anything in it except lard and lye could clear up a rash. But it is a bit amazing. If I get any more rashes, I'll try the soap on it again, and see if it works again.

Face soap: I've found the holy grail of face soaps. I will never use any other soap on my face. I had great skin up until my mid 20's when all of a sudden, each pore grew to the size of Texas, and each pore was just filled with dirt and oil. I couldn't get rid of it. No matter how many times a day I washed my face, or what kind of soap I used, nothing helped. The only thing that helped at all was the sulfur mask, by Proactive, but if I used that very often, it dried my skin out really bad. My skin was both too dry AND too oily, all at the same time. Flaky areas, surrounded by oil patches. Did I mention the hundreds of black-heads, white-heads, and the occasional zit the size of Mt. Everest? So for the last 10 years or so, I've had to live with this embarrassing skin.

The first time I washed my face with Grandma's Lye Soap, I noticed my pores looked smaller, and my face felt very soft. By day two of using it, I noticed a reduction of blackheads, and the few zits I had on my face were going away, and no new ones were appearing. By day three, I was completely hooked on this soap. My skin hasn't looked this good since before I hit puberty. The dry flaky areas are completely gone. The oil patches are still there, but much reduced. The blackheads, whiteheads, and zits are almost completely gone. My pores look much smaller and tighter. I am using some Clinique face lotion, after I wash my face, but that is it. I am so astonished... I can't get over how great my skin looks, and my skin is as soft as a baby's bottom!

UPDATE: I've been using this soap on my face for several months now, and I still love it. However, my face did start drying out from it pretty bad. Getting rid of the acne was worth it to me though. So now, after I use the soap, I use a tiny bit of oil on my face (olive oil or almond oil) instead of lotion. My skin looks fantastic.

In just 3 days, I noticed a significant difference in my skin!! I'll NEVER go back to any other soap, ugh! I no longer need lotions, acne face wash or foundation. That's right! I've been using this soap for only two weeks and it has fully restored my skin to the point that I don't even need foundation. I can't be happier!

Lye soap is rumored to be good for all kinds of complaints, including rosacea, eczema, poison ivy, dandruf, oily skin, oily hair, and even as the wrapper on this soap suggests foul mouthed children.

I've had my eczema under control for a few years, but not my dandruf. My skin and hair have remained oily no matter what I do not for lack of trying to control it, mind you. After a move, I started to have a pretty bad outbreak. I remmebered seeing this stuff in a local hardware store, so I thought I'd give it a try.

Oily skin? Not anymore. Hair? Nope. Dandruf? Seems under control. Eczema? It's only been a few days, but it's coming back under control.

Holy cow, this stuff is good.

This soap has definite medicinal properties. I've had a rash on my leg for about 30 years, and this soap completely cured it with about three uses. I'm not joking or exaggerating.

EZ-Freeze Cereal on the Go

EZ-Freeze Cereal on the GoI am a college student and need to pack lunch two days a week. I pack my lunch at 8am, and the milk is still ice cold at 1pm when I eat lunch-in fact, last week I missed lunch and my milk was still cold when I got home at 4pm. I only wish that the cereal had a screw top, and that there was plastic in between the cereal bowl and where you screw the milk compartment on-when you unscrew the milk, if your unit tipped over at all in transit there is milk on the bottom of the bowl which can make a mess if you let it drip or put it down directly on the table. Bring a napkin to wipe the bottom as soon as you unscrew at lunchtime and this unit will be perfect.

This product is great. My daughter can eat her whole grain cereal either en route or at our destination, something that easily "gives us back" 30 minutes in our hectic schedule, and ensures we don't have to settle for a less nutritious meal on the run. (Now, on Saturday mornings when she must accompany me on errands, I can let her sleep an extra half hour, and know I'm not going to be late for appointments). Plus, I've figured out many more uses for it chilled yogurt and fruit/granola cup, chicken salad kept chilled at bottom with a room temp pasta salad in the top portion, etc. It's really versatile, and I highly recommend it for busy families. Apparently, we're not the only ones who think so. When I returned to my neighborhood Container Store to buy a second one, they had completely sold out. Thankful to find it available through Amazon.com, as I've not been able to locate any other brick-and-mortar retail outlet such as Target, CVS, etc.

I love this thing! I use it to take cereal to work. I have not had any problems with the milk leaking. Sometimes the milk gets slightly frozen, so I've started taking the container out of the freezer about 30 minutes before I leave for work and it stays cold but doesn't freeze the milk. The cereal compartment is a little bit small, but it's a good portion if you are trying to eat healthy. It holds about 1 cup of Cheerios, which seems small but it's the serving size on the box. I know that this thing is probably made for kids, but I've found it very handy. It is very easy to wash by hand so I can use it every day.

This cute little container is absolutely perfect for taking cereal and milk with me to work. I add my cereal and fruit to the bowl on the top and my milk of choice to the bottom and I have everything I need for breakfast. The top "bowl" easily holds a half cup of cereal plus a half cup of fruit and the bottom holds about 4 oz of milk. Those who are complaining that it is too small are probably used to eating well over one serving of cereal. I am trying hard to keep my portions in control and this container helps me to do that. I usually just fill the container the night before and leave it in the fridge overnight because I eat it right after I arrive at work and don't want to have frozen milk. The milk is cold from the gel having been refrigerated.

It is also great for carrying yogurt and fruit or cereal toppings to go with it.

And there is no mess if you use it correctly. Remove the cereal lid, take out the spoon, unscrew the cereal bowl and place it on the inverted lid..then add your milk. Any milk that may have splashed onto the bottom of your bowl is not on your desk...it is in the lid.

And for those who are concerned, I checked their website and this product is BPA free.

green sprouts 3 Pack Priceless Burp Pads

green sprouts 3 Pack Priceless Burp Pads, RoseThese burp cloths are ok. The size is pretty good, not too small, not too large.

After a few washes the seams are coming apart on some.

Brown is just a bad idea for a burp cloth. It looks really gross after a couple spit ups.

The pads are not huge, as some reviewers made them seem. Main complaint was how worn then looked after the first wash (not even used). Serious pilling of the material, which I thought was disappointing given the high price. They are two pieces of material sewn together, fyi. Will write more after I try them out.

A bit smaller than a cloth diaper, but super convienent to throw in the diaper bag and head out. Cute words and soft fabric.

My daughter has acid reflux... severe acid reflux. I go through about 20 burp cloths in 3 days. These so far are the best I have found. I have the pink, brown and green sets. They are big enough to do the job. They wash easily and have yet to fall apart. If any of you have experienced a wet shoulder or lap due to spit up, give these a try. You won't be dissapointed.
