Enfamil Infant Formula Powder, Gentlease
Regardless, if you have a gassy baby, you may want to give this a try.
It doesn't seem to dissolve as well as the 'regular' Enfamil, so you may want to use a knife or something to mash out any balls of Enfamil powder that form. After doing that, it doesn't have any problems finishing dissolving.

My son started off on enfamil newborn. Horrible stuff! He spit up AND threw up, pooped so much his little butt was red and fussed all the time. Then he developed horrible gas on it so we switched to Enfamil Prosobee. Horrible. Made things worse. Horrible gas, HORRID constipation and now we was fussing through an entire feeding. I was weary about trying Gentlease but I didn't know what else to do for him.Night 1 on Gentlease he screamed for an hour straight, I thought there was going to be NO formula that would work for him. Then I remembered his doctor saying that he might have trouble switching formulas as it tends to be hard on their stomach, so I stuck with it another night.
Night 2 I saw much improvement but he still seemed very gassy and a tad fussy.
It's now been a week on gentlease and he is thriving! No spit up, about 2 pretty nasty poops a day but at least he's not constipated, no fussiness while eating and very minimal gas. He's sleeping for longer and overall just seems so much happier!
I highly recommend!

My baby was getting really gassy and uncomfortable on Enfamil Newborn formula. His doctor suggested Gerber GoodStart, but no luck. When I started using this, it worked great. Baby is comfortable and likes it.Want Enfamil Infant Formula Powder, Gentlease Discount?
To be honest, I didn't want to like this formula. I was having gas and spit-up issues with Enfamil Newborn and our pediatrician recommended this for our 2 week old son. When I read the ingredients and saw that the first one is corn syrup, I balked and purchased a three pack of Baby's Only Organic from Amazon, hoping it would work for us. It made my baby terribly constipated. So I bought the Target brand Gentle formula which is supposed to be comparable to this. It is, but we were still getting spit ups. I switched to a mix of Enfamil Newborn and Enfamil AR. Back to horrible, screaming gas issues. Finally, reluctantly, I had to admit that of the four things we'd tried, this is the best for us. I bought the brand name because the Target brand smelled like malt mix and doesn't mix well. There is really no difference between Enfamil and Target other than the smell and color. Enfamil doesn't mix well either. Both give my son horrible green swamp poops which are runny and explosive. But apparently that's normal with the gentle formulas. Yuk.My son does better on this. I suspect he has lactose sensitivities and this, while not really cutting down on the gas, helps him to pass it and not scream in pain all day. He sleeps well and eats without pain. While I would like him to eat something that doesn't make his diapers so nasty, it's worth it. Plus, we use cloth diapers so the poop doesn't explode out of the diaper and onto his clothes. It does make for some very interesting diaper changes.
I'm still not completely settled on this, but I have a two month supply so we are on it for now. I just wish I could find something that would agree with him without the gross diapers and less than ideal ingredients.
Update: I switched to Baby's Only LactoRelief and saw a HUGE improvement in reflux symptoms in just 1 feed! His stools improved drastically and he is a new baby! I have come to believe that it was not reflux at all.
OXO Tot Mini Dust Pan And Brush Set, Orange
This dustpan fails on both counts. Because the rubber/silicone edge is so terrible, you end up spending a minute or two trying to get all the dirt in the pan, and because the interior lip is too shallow, you end up dumping the dirt out you've already managed to corral into it. The basic fault is that the silicone/rubber edge is not firm enough. I purchased two and both came with differently mis-shaped rubber edges. One was bent forward and one was bent halfway back.
This is far more detail than a prospective customer needs in a review, but I'm going to go ahead and include it in case Oxo reads this. The rubber/silicone edge is way too flexible. I realize it's a fine line to walk since it needs to be flexible enough to keep contact with the floor edge without gaps, but if it's TOO flexible and the edge is paper thin as this one is, it bends UP and lets dirt under it. Can't you guys figure out a formula that's the right level of flexible? I'll be happy to field test it for you.
I am a consumer that does lots of research before purchasing, usually that means reading lots of reviews and comments on Amazon and getting a consensus. That's why I usually end up purchasing an Oxo product. They're pretty consistently affordable and effective. This one was a real disappointment. The week after I received these, I was at an everything's a dollar store and found there a dustpan that I think works just as well as this one at a fifth the price. It isn't perfect, and if anyone could make a perfect one, Oxo could, but for now I'm about to just buy a hand vacuum and avoid dustpans altogether.I do love this little mini set. I nail it to the wall near the cat litter and use it to sweep up the stray litter that comes out of the box when the kids use the toilet. I like how the brush fits nicely in the handle of the pan (it just pushes in there and is help by tension and grip). The color is also nice and appealing it is not super bright or dull.
The only things I have found wring is that the lip on the pan may not be raised enough because sometimes I accidentally end up pouring all the litter back on the floor because I tip it just a little too much. Also, I find that I have to do more sweeps that desired to get all the loose litter into the pan. I have to use short quick sweeps because the big litter chunks somehow get missed when brushing too slowly or too lightly. It might be because the bristles on the brush are very very soft and flexible. I think it would work really well with kitchen crumbs and the like but it may not be heavy duty enough for larger crumbs such as litter. Hope this helps..

Probably like most people, I had an ancient "crumb brush" where the bristles barely bristled. It was time for a new one when I found this for an excellent price on Amazon. It looks nice with the colored rubber handle and trim. The brush bristles are soft and flexible and much better than the older ones I had in the house.
I wasn't sure how big it was going to actually be compared to ones I already had. It was the perfect size, though, for small dry spills around the kitchen or even in the car.
Good product, good brand, great price!

I was kind of hesitant to buy this because I wasn't sure I needed this in addition to my normal sized dust pan and brush. But ultimately I purchased because I thought it would be easier to have around for cleaning baby-sized messes. Plus, I can avoid using the standard sized one which always seems to have a significant amount of residual dust in the brush and pan no matter how much I tap or manually remove. The topper was that my 11 month old is taken to copying us, and he enjoys "sweeping" with this mini-sized tool when I use the larger one! For that, it was well worth having a pint-sized version.I purchased this dustpan to put next to my litterbox to sweep up stray bits of litter. Unfortunately, this does not do a good job. The bristles are too soft and it's really ineffective. I also wish the silicone edge were a bit firmer as the contents are very easily to spill out. Sure, it's cute, the colors are appealing and the brush fits snugly into the pan, but it just doesn't seem practical.

This is a very well made stainless water bottle, compact, good insulation, does the job. It is a bit pricey but if you don't mind paying a bit more, it is built like a tank so it will last, has good looks, and of course is BPA free just in case that stuff really does turn out to be carcinogenic. Importantly, it doesn't leak. This was a gift and turned out to be exactly what my aunt had wanted.Want Klean Kanteen 18 oz Stainless Steel Water Bottle (Sport Cap 2.0) Discount?

This is cool looking and I wanted to like it, but my 11-month-old daughter ripped the cap off of it almost immediately after I gave it to her for the first time. The plastic attachment is very small and not very durable, Boon would do better to use a metal attachment of some sort. Now the container part sits in her toy bin gathering dust....Read Best Reviews of Boon Snack Ball - Snack Container Here
The number one problem is the round shape. While it looks cool, it has no flat part at all to it so if you set it down anywhere, it rolls. Set it on a table and it rolls and falls on the floor. That makes it really impractical and you're out and about. Second, the flip lid doesn't always stay closed, so if it's rolling around in your bag, it opens somewhat easy and spills items. Third, I think its use is mainly limited to transporting/storing the snack, not really to eat out of. The opening is big enough to pour but little hands can't really get in to pick things out. Overall, waste of money.Want Boon Snack Ball - Snack Container Discount?
We bought this as an alternative to carrying snacks around in bisphenol and phthalate laden plastic containers. All of Boon's eating/drinking products are BPA and phthalate free, which is a must in our house. This is a great little product to carry around small snacks like cheerios or crackers in. We have it with us at all times.
However, what I don't like:
The lid sometimes slides open in our diaper bag, which makes crumbs. The other drawback is the small opening. My 1 year old has a hard time fitting his hand in to grab a snack, so I'm guessing the problem will only get worse as he gets older. I would prefer he assert his independence and work on getting his own snacks. I don't mind handing him snacks, but at this age, they're all about doing it themselves, and I'd like to encourage that. I can't really do that with this snack ball.
Naturepedic Waterproof Flat Portacrib Pad, 24x38
BUT despite these not exactly fulfilling their anticipated role very well, they've been great for under blankets everywhere else! Even with a blanket beneath our little one, he can spit enough to damage carpet, our bed, grandma's couch etc. We use these everywhere to keep our baby from soaking through.
They wash and dry well, but be sure not to put more than one into a load of laundry; They work well to line the washer too and can block the machines spin cycle. We have the Naturepedic crib mattress, as well as the Naturepedic waterproof crib pad. We have the full mattress pad on the mattress, then the portacrib pad over that (we have portacribs at both grandparents house, so we bring this pad along). I would say that unless you are buying the full-sized crib waterproof mattress pad to protect the mattress from dustmites, I would recommend the portacrib pad. The portacrib pad is much easier to take on and off since it doesn't have the elastic corners to deal with, which means you basically have to take the mattress out of the crib to put it back on. The BEST combination would be to have your mattress, the portacrib pad, and zip sheetsThen you never have to take the mattress out of the crib to change the sheets.

I love the texture, the softness of the pad. It is totally natural and that for me gives me a sense of safety and security. We bought a mini crib, and we have a normal mattress we tried to get a naturepedic or other brand, organic mattress, but they only sell pads (which don not have the firmness required for an infant). The only problem I had with this pad was precisely the lack of elastic corners. Infants move, and if the pad is not secure enough, it will move as well, creating a risk of suffocation. I bought large elastic at a craft store and sew it to the corners, so the pad would be well attached to the mattress. Despite that I still think it is a fantastic product, and I actually have 2 of these.Read Best Reviews of Naturepedic Waterproof Flat Portacrib Pad, 24x38 Here

Its longer than my pac n play mattress by about 1.5 inches but tucks under and seems to stay in place flat under a sheet with elastic all the way around it. I've only washed it once, so maybe it shrinks more. Seems the best option for a pac n play protection that's organic.FunBites Squares - Cuts kids' food into fun-shaped bite-sized pieces . . . Great for picky eaters a
Here is how to use it:
Push the cutter into the food and rock it back and forth a few times.
Insert the popper top and push it through.
Out pops the bite-sized pieces of food.
See, easy!
The FunBites cutter worked well on all the food I gathered for the muffin tin, except for a little extra rocking needed for the green pepper with its thick skin. However, it was cut through enough that I just needed to break the pieces apart. It worked really well on the peanut butter and apple butter sandwiches too.
I guess the one thing I had concerns about was not knowing for sure if I have it clean enough in the crevices. Yes, it is able to go in the dish washer (top rack only) But I also washed it by hand after soaking it, and rinsed it really well. I have also seen the suggestion of using a brush, but haven't tried it yet, especially because I didn't really end up seeing the need for it.
Highly recommended product for making fun meals for your children or preparing large amounts of food for parties.
Disclosure: I received a Cube It! FunBites Cutter for free in order to review it. This did not in any way influence my review. I only recommend products I use personally and feel will be a good products for others. This tool is so convenient when making cheese cubes for a party. Instead of spending hours cutting your cheeses into cube shapes, simply use this tool and in minutes you will have perfectly shaped cubes. The uses for this Square Fun Bite is only limited to your imagination. Love this product. My review here will be based on the Cube It! set as I realised I've always been cutting the food Ben takes into cubes. My feedback as below:
* Appearance: I love the colors of the FunBites(tm) set. It is quite heavy (for me) but the size is just right.
* Functionality: It is very easy to use and I love the handling of the Cube It! set. I just need to remove the popper aside, placed the cutter on top of the food I want to cut into cubes, press downwards while holding the cutter handle at the sides for a few seconds. And once you removed the cutter, you just need to slot back the popper into the cutter and your food will pop out in cubes size now!
Verdict: I love how it helps save my time in preparing my boy's food by cutting it to bite-sized pieces!
Full review with pictures can be found at:This product is sooo nice! I cut eggs (omelets), burgers...you name it! (as long as it's flat). They are nice size squares. Big enough for the child to pick up and small enough that you don't fear that they are struggling to chew. (I have a 17 month old) I hand wash (dont have a dish washer) and it's fine to wash. When sticking the sponge into the holes to make sure you get all the grease (if you cut a burger), they can be a little sharp but nothing that would cut you. I would recommend this to any mom.I am a huge fan of the wonderful FunBites Squares. I have wasted who knows how much time cutting things up for my children. I am so happy to have a product that I can quickly use and have all of the food cut up! The squares are the perfect size for my 1 and 3 year old girls!!

We have been using these for our son for over a year now. It seems recently that the quality has gone down hill. These feel a bit too watery now. I've tried a few batches from local store to compare if this was a one time thing. Looks like they all are the same watery kind now. I've compared this to other flavors, and seems like this is the only flavor that has this problem. All other flavors are still the same good quality.Manufacturer : Please don't try and fix something that's not broken. My son loves all of the plum organic baby foods. Smell: It just smells like unscented soap. Much like Ivory or Neutrogena bar soap. It doesn't smell "porky" or "lardy" to me at all. The smell is a bit strong if you're sniffing the bar, but once you rinse it off your skin, it doesn't leave much of any smell at all on your body.
Shape: It is a large bar of soap, with squared edges. So it's kind of hard to hold it, and use it when you first get it. But after a few days it rounds out a bit, and is fine.
Lather: It lathers up bit, but not very much. So don't be disappointed if you don't get a rich, thick lather from it.
Body soap: It absolutely gets you clean, and scent free. But it leaves a scummy residue behind on your body, even if you rinse well, leaving your skin kind of sticky feeling, exactly like Ivory, or Dial, or Irish Springs bars of soap do. I prefer Dove bar soap, or a liquid soap to wash my body with, since they don't leave me feeling sticky after I get out of the shower.
Shampoo: If you run out of shampoo and conditioner, you *can* use this instead. It will get your hair clean, and allow you to run a comb through it afterwards. BUT... this is not exactly preferable. Your hair will *not* be as soft, shiny, and silky as it would be with a good shampoo and conditioner. However, if you have short hair, it will leave your hair with lots of body and texture, and super easy to style.
Hand soap: I can't get over how soft my hands are. I wash my hands a LOT during the day, and I've always used a bit of fragrance-free Curel lotion, after washing them. Now, even without the lotion, my hands feel incredibly soft.
Rashes: I've had a rash on my wrist for several months now, from my watch. I've tried everything to get rid of it. Stopped wearing the watch, tried anti-fungal cream, neosporin, topical steroid cream. Within two days of using the soap, the rash started going away. I kind of think it must be coincidence. I don't know how a product that doesn't have anything in it except lard and lye could clear up a rash. But it is a bit amazing. If I get any more rashes, I'll try the soap on it again, and see if it works again.
Face soap: I've found the holy grail of face soaps. I will never use any other soap on my face. I had great skin up until my mid 20's when all of a sudden, each pore grew to the size of Texas, and each pore was just filled with dirt and oil. I couldn't get rid of it. No matter how many times a day I washed my face, or what kind of soap I used, nothing helped. The only thing that helped at all was the sulfur mask, by Proactive, but if I used that very often, it dried my skin out really bad. My skin was both too dry AND too oily, all at the same time. Flaky areas, surrounded by oil patches. Did I mention the hundreds of black-heads, white-heads, and the occasional zit the size of Mt. Everest? So for the last 10 years or so, I've had to live with this embarrassing skin.
The first time I washed my face with Grandma's Lye Soap, I noticed my pores looked smaller, and my face felt very soft. By day two of using it, I noticed a reduction of blackheads, and the few zits I had on my face were going away, and no new ones were appearing. By day three, I was completely hooked on this soap. My skin hasn't looked this good since before I hit puberty. The dry flaky areas are completely gone. The oil patches are still there, but much reduced. The blackheads, whiteheads, and zits are almost completely gone. My pores look much smaller and tighter. I am using some Clinique face lotion, after I wash my face, but that is it. I am so astonished... I can't get over how great my skin looks, and my skin is as soft as a baby's bottom!
UPDATE: I've been using this soap on my face for several months now, and I still love it. However, my face did start drying out from it pretty bad. Getting rid of the acne was worth it to me though. So now, after I use the soap, I use a tiny bit of oil on my face (olive oil or almond oil) instead of lotion. My skin looks fantastic. In just 3 days, I noticed a significant difference in my skin!! I'll NEVER go back to any other soap, ugh! I no longer need lotions, acne face wash or foundation. That's right! I've been using this soap for only two weeks and it has fully restored my skin to the point that I don't even need foundation. I can't be happier!

Lye soap is rumored to be good for all kinds of complaints, including rosacea, eczema, poison ivy, dandruf, oily skin, oily hair, and even as the wrapper on this soap suggests foul mouthed children.I've had my eczema under control for a few years, but not my dandruf. My skin and hair have remained oily no matter what I do not for lack of trying to control it, mind you. After a move, I started to have a pretty bad outbreak. I remmebered seeing this stuff in a local hardware store, so I thought I'd give it a try.
