Philips AVENT BPA Free Toddler Divider Plate, 12+ Months

Philips AVENT BPA Free Toddler Divider Plate, 12+ MonthsWe are on our second one of these plates. The dividers are nice, the pictures are cute, the skid-resistent feature is great. However, that said, the pictures in the divided areas are covered by what appears to be a clear, plastic sticker-type material. Or perhaps the pictures simply ARE stickers. In any event, spaghetti sauce, sweet potato and other foods stain and seep under the stickers. We wash the plate by hand, but even so, a corner of the sticker began peeling up. I attributed it to my husband's harsh scrubbing of the plate, so we threw it away and bought a new one, but I can already see that even gently handled, the plate simply doesn't last.

I really feel obligated to leave feedback on this product. We bought this plate for our 18 month old daughter. I was initially going to purchase several because I wanted plates with rubber grips on the bottom, but read another customer review that mentioned that the artwork appeared to be or have clear stickers. I thought I'd try one out first because surely they must've been misused in some way to allow the "stickers" to peel, or perhaps they were simply protective stickers that you must first remove before using.

Once I received the plate, I could easily feel with my fingers that the artwork on the plate was indeed three separate stickers for each divided section, about the size of the entire section they covered. They weren't simply clear stickers there to protect the artwork either as they were really stuck to the plate and couldn't be removed. My daughter used it a couple of times (in between soap and water sponge washes) and to my dismay pieces of the clear stickers began coming up! Who makes a plate (for children nevertheless) and puts stickers on it right where the food is supposed to go!! All my daughter did was eat from the plate with her baby fork and spoon to get pieces of the stickers to start coming up. You can feel the little holes in the stickers from the fork and spoon marks in the center of them. If you don't mind your child slowly consuming these plastic stickers over time, then this plate will be fine for you I guess. The artwork around the brim of the plate is fine and isn't a sticker, so I don't understand why there are stickers in the three food sections.

The one good thing about the plate and the main reason for me purchasing it is that the rubber gripping on the bottom is great. It doesn't easily slide on table surfaces. The plate itself feels like it's well made, but whoever's decision it was to simply throw some clear stickers on it for the illustrations should be fired!! We'll just be using this so she can at least eat her crackers from it I guess.

Nice plate with nice dividers. We got these when my son was about 20 months old. Artwork does not fade and is interesting for him. However, I try NOT to use a knife on it because I can see the scratch marks forming. I cut my son's food on a cutting board or other plate, and then put it on this plate. I might not buy again because of this.

Love the design (cheerful without being too colorful) and the fact that it's non-BPA yet can be used in the microwave and dishwasher. Nice looking, sturdy and has been holding up well to regular use. The size of the plate is good for the average toddler and the anti-skid feature works well. Affordable as well!

My 14 month old granddaughter loves this plate. The sections work out wonderfully to separate her food and she gets to pick and see the characters underneath the food. Washes up well.

J.L. Childress 6 Bottle Cooler Tote Bag, Green/Orange

J.L. Childress 6 Bottle Cooler Tote Bag, Green/OrangeThis bag comes in handy when taking bottles back and forth to daycare. I would definitely recommend this product. I also like the storage on top of the bag.

Great cooler for daycare and great price. My only critique is that I wish the manufacturer would have attached the strap to the main part of the cooler and not the lid. If not fully zipped, it hangs funny. But, still great and works for what we needed it for.

I bought this to keep breast milk cool during the work day. It works great for that purpose. I like the top compartment too; it fits a sandwich or a couple snacks for me. I can usually throw in an apple or something in the big compartment with the bottles and ice pack. Just for size comparison, I am able to fit four 8-oz Medela bottles and the ice pack that came with my Pump In Style Advanced Pump (it's contoured to fit with baby bottles), then a large apple or something on top of that in the bottom. Seems well-made, but the color is a little loud. For functionality (I don't have to bring a separate lunch bag for myself), I'll take it!

I was very excited to order this bag. I use the new Similac bottles that have a wider base and have had a very difficult time finding a bag that will hold more then 2 bottles in it. When I saw this bag I thought that it would be perfect and having a top section for solid food was a big plus! I received the bag and was upset to find a big hole in the liner. I contacted Amazon who sent me a new bag that arrived just 2 days later. I was very impressed by that, however, I was quickly disappointed again when I opened the new bag and found a hole in the liner again. I saw this same bag comes in different colors and the price amount varies based on the color which I though was strange. I looked at the one in black offered by Amazon which had 50+ reviews and not one said the liners were damaged. Not quite sure why only the green one would be defective, but it sure seems that way. I will be trying the black bag and really hope that it comes without any holes so I can finally use a bag that is more suited to my needs.

A little tight when using glass baby bottles but it's working, although I did not get a chance to test how good the cooling is when warm since it's still in the 50's around here.

Beaba Babycook Travel Bag

Beaba Babycook Travel Bag in SorbetProtects the Beaba well and makes it much easier to travel with. I have made ALL of my son's baby food, and now use it daily to steam pasta, rice or vegetables for his meals now that he is older. Because of this, the case and Beaba travels with me frequently! It is however extremely expensive for what it is. I paid around $50.00 for it. Don't regret the purchase, however it should be priced lower for what it truly is...a case.

the item is exactly the same as in the website. It is also great for storing the babycook when not in used. i am very satisfied!

Ju-Ju-Be Fuel Cell Insulated Bag

Ju-Ju-Be Fuel Cell Bottle Bag, Pretty TweetOh, how I love these fuel cells (OK a lot of Ju Ju Be bags) but I just ordered my THIRD fuel cell because this is a very versatile little bag!!

DSLR:

I got to pack away my heavy duty camera bag, because this little guy holds my DSLR now!! I am super thrilled not to lug around a seperate camera bag for trips like Disney! Since I despise carrying my heavy camera on my neck, I am always setting it down or handing it off to hubby (even though I am the photo spaz and need it back constantly, LOL), but now I just put it in here and attach it to the stroller bar (my fav) with the strap on top OR put it inside of one of my larger Ju Ju Be bags (Mighty Be or BFF) and it won't get scratched or dingedit is nice and protected from shifting around inside another bag!!

Insulation/Food:

I have to admit, I am not sure the insulation is the best (compared to an insulated lunch-box) so if that is your TRUE intended purpose/use, there are probably better options for you, BUT I find it PERFECTLY sized for those pre-packaged snacks (and it holds a LOT of them), like crackers, chips, gummy candy, etc. I can fit enough for my family of 4 (for a long day). This keeps them in one place and they WON'T get squished or smashed in this, even when inside a larger bag full of heavy things!

Bottle Holder:

I also use this as a bottle holder, I can fit 5 large weird shaped ones (like the Vent-Air) or 6 large standard ones easily). I sometimes fill them with water and bring powder to make the bottles, OR bring the nursettes to pour inside. Since I pack formula/bottles this way, room temp is ideal so the insulation doesn't matter.

Oh, and besides clipping this to the stroller bar, you could also attach it to the outside of another bag with the strap/clip (I tested that out) but I haven't needed to do that yetbut it will be convenient if my bags get too full (where it won't fit inside)!

I highly recommend these!!

Sidenote Recommendation:

I highly recommend checking out the Fridge To Go (we have the Playtex Bottle Holder one) for small items that you want to keep at a SAFE temp for a LONG time (we carry pediasure, milk, and yogurt in it). It is a really small bag (with straps for stroller too). We store the bag itself (folds small) in our freezer and it stays really cold for at LEAST 6 hours (they say 8, I think 6 but SUPER cold for 6). Since the bag is lined with the cold packs you don't have to pack any! They have larger ones available now (I think without the Playtex marriage, just by Fridge To Go) and I am considering purchasing a larger one for other things, but the small one we have works well for a few common toddler daily necessities (and doesn't take up much space). Sorry, that is off the subject of the Fuel Cell but I wanted to share since we find BOTH extremely valuable and useful!

This bag is a good size for a few sippies and some cheese sticks or small container of yogurt. However, it is not the best in terms of insulation for cold beverages either be sure to use an ice pack with it or understand that the insulation lasts only 2-3 hours tops (much less in hot weather). I appreciate the top zip compartment, which I use to store handwipes and napkins. Other than the mediocre insulation, it is a nice multi bottle bag. When the weather is warmer, I reach for my Skip Hop Triple Bottle bag instead since it seems to provide better insulation and can be worn as a backpack or shoulder bag (this bag must be carried by hand or placed in another bag). It is pretty, but better insulation and a shoulder strap would be nice.

I bought this bag to transport my daughter's bottles to and from daycare. It easily fits 3 of the large 8 ounce Dr. Brown's bottles plus a *huge* ice pack. There was room to spare, I think I could probably even fit another of the small 4 ounce bottles plus some baby food jars.

My only caveat on recommending this bag: the liner is made with silver ions of some kind, not sure if they are nano particles or something else, which lends it antimicrobial properties. I have no idea what the long therm health issues are with the use of silver ions, especially for something that comes in contact with my baby's food containers. Also, it is lined in Teflon, again, not sure about the long term safety of that particular polymer.

I realize this is a bottle bag, but I was hoping it would work as a school lunch bag for my elementary-age daughter. We previously had a soft lunch bag similar to this that was not machine wash, but to get it clean I washed it several times in the washer and hung dry anyway and the zipper just fell apart. I was looking for a higher quality bag that was machine washable and I came across this. It's more than lunchbags you find at discount stores but it is sooo much nicer. The fabric is beautiful inside and out, it has a clear zippered pocket inside good for small utensils and napkin, handle for carrying and a heavy duty zipper. It keeps shape and stands pretty well. My daughter is happy with it too. So far we've used it for a few months, 5 days a week, and it looks almost new.

I use this tote for my 9 month olds bottles, snacks and solids. It's cute, keeps things cold, and you can fit quite a bit inside. I manage to squeeze in 3 bottles, 2 small tupperware containers and 2 snack size ziplocks of snacks. The small zippered compartment in the top of the bag is great for the spoon. Would definitely recommend!

OXO Tot Baby Food Mill, White/Green

OXO Tot Baby Food Mill, White/GreenI love this food mill. It is super easy to used and clean up is a cinch. I finally decided to purchase this after I had read a review comparing it to another quality brand. I am so glad I made the decision I did. A quick note on how to use a food mill. When turning the knob, you want to go back and forth to keep moving the food around the bowl and going through the holes. Also... All of the food will never go through if you use the super fine setting. Carrots will leave behind their fiberous material that could choke a baby, Peas will leave behind their tuff skins. If you notice nothing else is going through the mill, take your hand and touch the remaining food... it should feel dry and fiberous, this means you are done. I think a lot of people buy food mills assuming ALL the food will go through the mill, and this just isn't true when using the super fine setting.

I had been making baby food in my 9 cup Cuisinart food processor but read several places that you need a food mill for things like green beans and peas. I used this with green beans. What a disaster! All it did was crush the beans and push green water into the bowl. I had to manualyl scrape out everything! I put it in my food processor and it did just fine, granted it took awhile to really break skins down, but it did do it and my 5 1/2 month old had no issue with them. This product was not for me-returned it.

This is my best purchase for my son yet! This makes my job so much easier when preparing his food! The feet on the mill make it so that the bowl/pot that I put beneath to catch the food does not bang back and forth when I'm grinding; also, the rotating portion goes both ways so that it can re-circulate (not sure of the correct word!) the food for more processing. Absolutely love this, it is a must have if you are making your baby's food!

The food mill holds a lot of food which is great, but even the finest strainer was too lumpy for a new solid foods eater. On top of that, it was difficult to clean and often, larger pieces would go through the sides. I much prefer my food processor and will run certain things like peas through a sieve afterwards.

Great product! Excellent for making infant food from cooked veggies and fruit. This item with the three screens is sold under the Baby category (perhaps the green trim and some target marketing got it there) But his is absolutly esential for processing tomatoes and other things from the garden you might make yourself.

Gerber Graduates BPA Free Bunch-A-Bowls with Lids, Colors May Vary

Gerber Graduates BPA Free 4 Pack Bunch-A-Bowls with Lids, Colors May VaryI purchased these bowls because I wanted BPA-free products that I can use to transport food when we travel or eat out. The bowls hold 8oz and the lids snap on with a click and are not flimsy at all. I put them on the top shelf of the dishwasher and so far neither the lids or the bowls have changed form. I make most of my own baby food. I have two Boon Spoons which are great for purees but I use these bowls for thicker foods that I can't squeeze out of. When my baby gets older, these will also be great to hold dry snacks in too. Great product for the price, considering the Munchkin bowls are the same price without lids. Highly recommend.

Update: After a few months these bowls continue to hold up well after being dropped many times by my 13mo old and washed many time in the dishwasher (upper rack.) The lids still fit perfect and the seal is so tight you can put liquid foods in them or keep dry foods (like cheerios, crackers) from getting stale. Great value!

I agree with many of the other reviewers, the bowls are great. They hold up well, the lids are tight (so that even if you were to put a liquid in the bowl it still doesn't leak) and they are just the right size for feeding my little one and holding in my hand. Easy to scoop the food out of them.

I haven't really put them in microwave much so can't comment on how they would hold up. I washed them in the dishwasher though (top rack) and they still look great and retained the original shape.

For those of you who maybe are curious about the dimensions of the bowls (as I was before I bought them) here it is:

* 4.5" wide at the top (the diameter) and about 3" at the bottom;

* about 1.5" deep.

I got the same colors that are in the picture (green, blue, reddish/orange and purple).

Highly recommended!

These bowls are exactly as they look on picture. You can use them to store food but they are too light to be used for feeding (you have to chase them on table and they are easily knocked by curious babies). If you are looking for feeding bowls I recommend more bulky bowls.

I like these bowls for sending lunch items for my preschooler they are solid and a nice size. Over time, the lids tended to disappear, so I purchased a new package, mainly because I need the covers. When they arrived, I found that the package contained 4 bowls, but only 3 solid lids, the 4th lid is "vented", only usable for microwaving it is not leakproof or airtight. I wish this was clearly stated in the description. 4 stars for the bowls, but 3 stars for the description and misleading packaging.

Want Gerber Graduates BPA Free Bunch-A-Bowls with Lids, Colors May Vary Discount?

I started using these bowls about a month ago when my little fellow turned 6 months old. Initially, I was only using these once per day with his morning cereal. However, now that I have been introducing more foods to my son, I use these 3 times per day.

I prepare my own baby food and use these to thaw the frozen cubes of food. The lids are truly an asset is this respect. They seal really tightly.

The set of bowls come with a green, purple, blue & red bowl. Each bowl will hold 8 oz of liquid.

I am toying with the idea of ordering a 2nd set so I don't have to worry about constantly hand washing them. I like for the dishwasher to do that job instead. I've tried these in the microwave for about 20 seconds and they hold up pretty well. I'm not sure how well they would hold up beyond that because I haven't had the need to heat up my baby's food beyond that.

I really recommend them.

Beaba Multiportions Freezer Trays

Beaba Multiportion Freezer Tray - GreenI purchased this when I was planning to make and freeze baby food for my daughter. What I like about them is that they are easy to pop after food is frozen, unlike regular ice trays. After they freeze, I just put the baby food in freezer bags and it's working great. Gave it 4 stars because they are a little pricey.

This tray makes a perfect monkey platter for a toddler! Before purchasing this I was putting items directly onto my son's booster tray or using several small dishes, but this is a way better solution. There are seven deep wells, perfectly toddler-sized. I can put a few heaping spoonfuls of yogurt in one, some brown rice in another, diced squash, some chopped apple, steamed spinach.. a bit of this and a bit of that. The monkey platter approach is a great way to encourage small children to try a wide variety of foods without overwhelming them and this tray is PERFECT. It's also cute and easy to clean.

Medela Personal Fit Breastsheild Connectors - Medela 87071

Medela Personal Fit Breastsheild Connectors - Medela 87071Shop should have indicated that connectors come in a set of twos. Instead I bought two sets of twos, total of four connectors, while getting only two valves. Other than that, excellent shopping experience.

I have the Medela Pump In Style breastpump, and recently purchased these connectors to replace the pair that came with the pump. I've had my pump for some time now and was ready for some new accessories. These are exactly like the connectors that come with the pump, so you will have no trouble connecting with them.

I ordered two sets of these to add to the two that come with my pump (6 total), as well as extra membranes, valves and shields so that I can pump and then throw the parts in a baggie each time I use them to be cleaned and sterilized later saves me time from having to either wash parts in the sink at work or from using the expensive wipes you can use without soap and water. Has worked great and been a huge benefit to me as a frequent pumper!!

Bloom Nano Urban High Chair, White Frame with Seat Pad

Bloom Nano Urban High Chair, White Frame With Seat Pad Rock RedI cannot help but completely disagree with the other reviewer. We bought the nano at giggle in the chocolate color and it looks so at home in our apartment. we had a peg perego plastic-fantastic for our first child and i can tell you that the base is much wider than nano, besides nano folds completely flat something that no other highchair i know of can.

We had no trouble with the tray the 3 sliding positions worked great and the fact that you can throw it in the dishwasher is a real bonus.

anyway, we love the nano and at $180 with such a cool, modern design we definitely would recommend it to anyone!

I hate to do this but.... do not buy this chair! We got it and have been so disappointed in it it just isn't designed for practical use the main problem is that the seat back is in no way supportive at all and in fact babies of all ages can only slouch in it. Its not just our son (who has been using it from 5 months to 8 month) but we tested it out on older infants too and got the same problem. I have still been using it whilst waiting for our new chair but our nanny refuses to she has worked in the industry many years and says she has never seen such a useless chair!

It looks ok in real life though I thought the white color was more cream than anything, and of course it folds down to very slim but what is the point in having a chair that encourages bad posture honestly its very difficult for them to pull them selves forward to the table Oh and another thing the table slants towards the seat so things don't sit on it straight why sell something based on being a modern design if it just doesn't work I can not wait to get anything else but this

Buy Bloom Nano Urban High Chair, White Frame with Seat Pad Now

I bought this chair because I like that it folds down, and because it was attractive. Unfortunately, these are the only 2 good things about it.

When open, the base of the chair is HUGE. Since we bought it for a small kitchen, this is a pain. The base is so much wider than the chair that we always trip over it when it's open.

If you let a speck of food dry on it, good luck getting it out of all the attractive little seams on the arm holders. And good luck cleaning the wet food out of the little seams, too! The fake leather material does spot clean nicely, which is a plus. However, the fabric trim does not. And you can't put it in the washing machine!

It's also very hard to get the tray on and off: it requires at least three hands.

I also agree with the other reviewer that the baby can't really sit up in it.

I gave it two stars because it does look good. I wish more chairs didn't have cartoon characters on them, and I wish more chairs folded up this nicely. However, I feel I wasted a lot of money on this chair and can't recommend it to anyone.

We bought our nano because we loved the modern look and the flat fold; simple design with a function that helps a lot. We chose the pearl white but i see bloom has now introduced an orange, which would have made our decision harder...

Another great feature that we didnt even realize until we put it together is the at-the-table option. A lot of our friends had talked about this and we swear by it having baby right at the table and part of the family mealtime is so more inclusive.

We have used the tray occasionally and its fine, if a bit large. Its great to have both options though; they (bloom) should make that clearer as its actually a really good selling point.

Want Bloom Nano Urban High Chair, White Frame with Seat Pad Discount?

I never write reviews on amazon but am compelled to keep people from making the mistake of buying this high chair. Although it looks good, it's not functional. The seat is too reclined, making the child slouch. That problem, combined with a tray that doesn't slide up close enough to the child, makes it so every single spill will end up in the child's lap (I've perfected taping my son's bib to the bottom of the tray). The seat cover has deep crevices and seams that get caulked with food at every feeding. The hinges on the side are at the most convenient spot for dirty hands, so it's always caked with food remnants as well. Maybe I'm not OCD enough to own this chair and keep things clean! Also, the coconut white is more of an off-white.
