Earth's Best Fruit And Vegetable Variety Pack, 4.0-Ounces Jars, 24-Count

Earth's Best Fruit And Vegetable Variety Pack, 4.0-Ounces Jars, 24-CountWe have bought Earth's Best organic baby food in a department store previously. After discovering our baby liked it, we went to amazon to compare prices and larger quantities.

The baby food is great, no complaints at all. The packaging was sub par. The first thing we noticed was the exterior box wasnt taped or sealed ( It was a clamshell type box that folds over and you insert part of the box back into itself anyone could have opened the package and closed it again). The jars are shrink wrapped with a cardboard base. The exterior packaging appears undamaged.

Inside there were broken jars of food and grocery items are not returnable. We have contacted Amazon's customer service and am waiting a response.

I wish I had ordered this pack sooner instead of one pack of one flavor. I like to use these to mix with some homemade foods too. I am happy with Amazon's "grocery" business. It is great to have the convenience to order these on-line and have home delivery. I can't imagine going the store and having to get a whole case and go through check out. I try to make him some meals, but I trust Earth's Best and love the flavor combo's and they are so convenient.

Signed up for the subscribe and save, And I am so impressed! My baby has loved all of the favors so far and they came in the mail very quickly. Great quality baby food, and cheaper than in the store.

When I was pregnant I was sure I'd be one of those Moms who has both the time and inclination to make all her own baby food. And I did go that route for a while, until I realized how much money I was spending and how much food (once made) I was having to throw out. A friend had suggested Amazon Moms to me and we had already started getting our diapers via 'subscribe and save'. I decided to try this food and she loves it, I get other varieties than just the fruit and veggies, but my daughter enjoys all of them. I have even tasted most of them myself and they are fairly tasty.

Plus the company is a heavy contributor to Sesame Street...so when you buy their products, you are helping out PBS as well. Win Win.

My one star is due to the inaccuracy of this listing and the carelessness of the seller. The description states:

Variety pack includes: 3 jars of Peach Oatmeal Banana, 3 jars of Bananas Peaches and Raspberries, 3 jars of Apples and Apricots and 3 jars of Pears

3 jars of Sweet Potato, 3 jars of Peas and Brown Rice, 3 jars of Carrots and 3 jars of Winter Squash

Here's what I received:

5 Sweet Potato Cinammon

3 Apple Turkey Cranberry

2 Banana Apricot Mixed Grain

1 Apple Butternut Squash

3 Sweet Potato Apricto

1 Creamy Chicken Apple Compote

1 Chicken Mango Risotto

2 Plum Banana Brown Rice

3 Peach Oatmeal Banana

2 Green Bean Casserole

So there was only one item in the original description that was actually in the package. Furthermore all the jars were simply thrown in a USPS flat rate box with a little bit of newspaper packaging. I'm not sure where to go from here because there is nothing wrong with it it's just not what I ordered nor what I wanted. I've contacted the seller to see what they have to say. I will never buy from Flamingodeals again.

Beech-Nut Stage 3 Homestyle Sweet Corn & Rice - 12 pack

Beech-Nut Stage 3 Homestyle Sweet Corn & Rice - 12 packMy son absolutely loves this baby food. So often we have found stage 3 foods that are just as runny as stage 2's, but this one is nice and thick. He didn't like it when he was still on the runny foods, but now it is one of his favorites! He's got quite an appetite, able to eat 3 or so stage 3 jars at one time and will soon transition to regular food, as he also has a mouth full of 16 teeth, but for now he still loves this stuff and we buy lots of it for him frequently.

NUK 30 count Breast Wipes

NUK 30 count Breast WipesI like these better than other wipes I have purchased in the past. They also smell nice, because of the natural vanilla.

Its practical, specially if you are away from home. also useful to wipe out my breastpump parts for a quick clean when you have no running water at hand (like in the car!). Will like a bigger pack though.

I will recomend it.

I'm a first-time nursing mom and thought these would be great to have. However, before they arrived I began using the unscented natural baby wipes and I think they work just fine. I'm using these now that I have them but probably won't order again. I'm not convinced I need them.

Sprout Organic Baby Food Curried Red Lentils and Glazed Carrots with Jasmine Rice, 5.5-Ounce (Pack

Sprout Organic Baby Food Curried Red Lentils and Glazed Carrots with Jasmine Rice, 5.5-OunceOur 10 month old loves this flavor! It's mildly curried, with coconut and rice, and it actually tastes like something like something an adult would eat. It's just enough texture for little ones to handle too. We get most of the sprout products but this one my daughter's favorite, judging by the way she always opens up for it until the whole pack is gone.

My 8-month baby always screws up his face like he's being poisoned when you give him something new, so I thought he'd need some time to get used to this. Not true! He loved this from the first bite. And while he tends not to like foods with a lot of texture yet, the rice-in-sauce texture of this food doesn't bother him at all.

This is daughter's absolute favorite--it is a bit sweet, with the nice mango and coconut flavors, and it's well-blended and quite filling. I even eat this with her sometimes, it's that tasty and hearty! It also has carrots and lentils, so many of the nutrients are inside.

I gave this chunky texture food to my daughter at 10 months and it was a hit right away. 2 months later she still loves it every time. The curry taste makes me even want some!

Philips AVENT Breast Milk Storage

Philips AVENT Breast Milk StorageI am a nursing, working mom and I have found that these little containers are a lifesaver! They attatch to the bottom of the Isis pump (also by Avent) for no hassle pumping. Then the top goes on tight, so you don't have to worry about leakage or spillage (if you were to pour into another container).

Much easier to deal with than bags that flop over in the freezer and get into wierd shapes. These Avent Breast Milk containers can stack very easily so they don't take over your freezer. I recomend putting a sticky label (I use address labels cut in half) with the date and time expressed on top of the rubber sealing disc, as this is the easiest place to totally remove the adhesive gum.

The baby sitter just has to screw on a new Avent cap with nipple attatched (or pop the sealing disc out and put a nipple in). If you later decide to make your own organic baby food in your blender or food processor, these containers can also be used to store & freeze your baby's first foods!

If you are using Avent bottles, these storage containers are a must. Very convenient and versatile (use as bottles, sippy cups, storing breastmilk, babyfood), easy to clean. Nice size to take to work or anywhere. You can use these with the Medela Pump in Style breast pump, but you need to buy an adaptor from Avent.

Buy Philips AVENT Breast Milk Storage Now

These containers are tops! You can pump right into them, with the Avent Isis Pump, which is great, or with most other pumps (with the converter piece). Then just stick the container in the freezer. Exchange the sealing disc for a nipple and, presto, it's a bottle. Add a handle and a spout instead of the nipple it's a sippy cup. And it is safe to use in the microwave. And it does not leak, even when it's not upright! And, thanks to the wide mouth, it's easy to clean. The small size makes it easy to store, minimizes waste (very important when using breastmilk) and for those who care these containers are actually aesthetically pleasing. I am very happy that I chose Avent bottles they are well worth the extra money, as after six months of use they still look brand-new. And if you ever need it, Avent customer service is even better!

I used to use the disposable bags to store breastmilk in the freezer even though we used regular Avent bottles. When I found out these could be used in the freezer I switched and I LOVE IT! They CAN be used with the MEDELA PUMPS. There is a converter cap you can buy seperately to pump DIRECTLY into these bottles from most pumps! I would highly recommend trying this product.

I bought these containers/bottles before I had my dd 11/06/99 and they have been through the microwave, freezer, dishwasher and have been sterilized by boiling. They have been used as milk containers, bottles and food containers.

We currently use them with the avent sippy cup teats and they are leak proof.

We will be having another baby shortly and I think they will probably outlast the the next baby too...

Probably one of the best investments I have made baby wise.

Oxo-biodegradable Honeysuckle Baby Food Storage Bags (Baby Food Bag 300 Count)

Oxo-biodegradable Honeysuckle Baby Food Storage BagsThese are handy little bags, but be aware that they are smaller than the breastmilk bags. I was recommended the breastmilk bags by a fellow breastfeeding mom and got these, somewhat by mistake, when the milk bags were sold out. They hold a max of 7 ounces. I have also used them for homemade baby food and here is where my only real disappointment occurs. Getting the food in and out of the bags is a messy affair. While trying to spoon the purees into the bags, the areas above the zipper got coated in food. Instead, I now freeze the food in my baby bullet tray and transfer the pops to these bags. Serving directly from the bag is also tricky with a small baby spoon, so instead I'd recommend transferring the food to a dish with a larger spoon. That being said, so far I am pleased with freezing and freshness aspects of the food and milk I've stored in these bags. They get far less freezer burn than regular ziplock freezer bags that I stored some puree pops in before.

This company has lightning fast shipping and fantastic customer service. I have been using the food storage bags and breastmilk storage bags for 10.5 months. They stand up well, have reinforced sides to help prevent leaking, and an easy pour top. Highly recommend.

Grandma El's Diaper Rash Remedy and Prevention Tube

Grandma El's Diaper Rash Remedy and Prevention Jar, 3.75-OunceThis stuff is thick and very oily so be sure you using it sparingly.

I suggest only using it with disposable diapers and only in extreme cases. Too much will irritate the skin more because it won't dry effectively and it leave the baby's bottom slick and cause more harm than good.

However for very bad diaper rash, a dash of this will do wonders. It soothes on contact and really helps calm the child down which any parents knows can be a huge chore! I have been kept up for hours from a screaming baby....

Don't forget about the mom though! We suffer too. Another baby must I can't do without is nipple cream. Motherlove makes a really great baby-safe formula (Motherlove Nipple Cream + FREE Aveeno Baby Daily Moisture Lotion Fragrance Free 8 oz.) which absorbs quickly and helps heal cracks and soreness from breastfeeding. The same screams come out of my daughter's mouth when she's hungry as when she's irritated so I can't live without cream for her or me!

I was not hopeful when I ordered this. I only bought it because I needed something that was cloth diaper safe, because I was sick of using liners. Despite using cloth diapers, and changing diapers every 2 hours, my daughter had a near constant red, dry, bumpy bottom. "Some babies just have constant rash" people told me. Every night, I dutifully slathered my daughters bottom with zinc oxide cream (I have seemingly tried them all thanks to baby samples and gifts, we also went through a whole lot). Almost from the moment we started to use Grandma El's her redness cleared right up. I could NOT believe it. I also started to put Grandma El's under her mouth and chin, and the rash she had developed from her constant spittle also cleared up.

Some more pros:

* Smells wonderfully sweet, but not perfume-y.

* Much easier to wipe off your hands than zinc oxide cream.

* Goes on clear.

* A little goes a long way.

* Fully cloth diaper safe!

* Very cute packaging, looks like a boutique baby product.

If you cloth diaper, this is a must have. If you have tried everything and your baby still has redness, give this a try!

I can't compare this to other products because we used this from day one and never looked back. As we were expecting our twins, a friend with kids gave this to us as a gift and said she swore by it. Anytime there has been even a threat of a rash, we apply this and it's gone in the morning. Haven't run into any rash yet that Grandma El's can't handle. As an added benefit, it's easy to put on and doesn't leave your hands smelling or oily.

I love this. It's great for clearly up rashes quickly. 100% cloth friendly. Also great for eczema, chapped lips and skins, and dry scaling skin.

Ever since I discovered this product, I couldn't imagine using another rash cream. Even my husband has been impressed with it. My 18 month old has extremely sensitive skin, so we put this on her every night to prevent rashes.

I cloth diaper and have only 2 nighttime diapers (Happy Hempys) so they get used A LOT of heavy use. Despite using this cream every night for months, it has not caused any repelling issues in the diapers. (I'm not sure if this helps, but I use Charlies. While I recently moved and now have soft water, my last home did not, and we still did not have any issues.)

The scent is nice. It reminds me of the Strawberry Shortcake dolls from the 1980's. I did a check on the scent they use on the EWG website and it is non-toxic. In fact, I checked out ALL of the ingredients and they all score a 0 1 (out of 10) so it's a product I can feel completely comfortable using on my baby.

The best part about this stuff is that it works wonders. If my baby gets diarrhea, she will get a rash every time. I use a bit of this stuff and it clears up faster than anything else I've used.

I really wish I would have known about this product when my first two children were babies and when my baby was a newborn.

Gerber Graduates Fruit & Veggie Melts - Truly Tropical Blend, 1-Ounce (Pack of 4)

Gerber Graduates Fruit & Veggie Melts - Truly Tropical Blend, 1-OunceMy son is absoutely ADDICTED to these things!!! When he wants nothing else to eat, He will always, always eat these when brought out! I am so glad we can buy them in bulk here on Amazon. Super easy snack to have when out running errands or at the park..

We've been giving our baby different varieties of these melts since he was around 8 months old. He absolutely loves every single flavor and would eat the whole bag if I let him. I use them mainly for snacks on the go and the resealable bag makes it easy to toss in our diaper bag. I usually buy a lot of my baby items from Amazon but I actually get these from the grocery store because they are much cheaper than here.

My 14 month daughter loves these, she's been eating them since around 10 mos old. Because 1/3 of the bag is a full fruit AND veggie serving, I sometimes give them to her along with her main dish at lunch time. They're also great for snack time and it's good to know that they are healthy and count towards her daily fruit & veggie servings, when fresh fruit and veggies are not readily available. I also love that both flavors of these fruit & veggie melts are a completely mess free snack, which is always a plus. :)

Out of all the snacks out there and all the ones my daughter has tried, these are her all time favorite. Even if she's full, even if she won't eat anything else, she will never say no to these.

They smell great, although admittedly I've never tried them to see what they taste like. They melt very easily in her mouth, don't crumble or leave a mess. They're also just the perfect bite size for my 14 month old.

I prefer the tropic version over the berry version because it's colorless. The berry version, once wet, can stain chairs/clothes. It comes out but now you have to spend your night cleaning the stains out. A few time my daughter ended up sitting on them after dropping them and the colored stained her stroller. And once she somehow managed to get her water on them, perhaps it dripped, and that was a huge mess. So I learned to stick with the tropical, and she doesn't mind.

The price here is much higher than the grocery store though. I usually get them for 2.99 a pack and there's quite a few in the package.

My going on 3 year old has loved these for years. Nothing makes her behave like a bag of theseI've used them in stores, on a plane, in church, etc. They're a parents best friend and my daughter likes all the favors. The only downside is that she can eat the whole bag in minutes if you let her, and they aren't cheap! Despite the small amount and and larger price, I'm a customer for life thanks to its sanity saving abilities.

BabyKicks Natural & Organic 10 Pack Baby Wipes

BabyKicks Baby Wipes - 10-Pack, IvoryI bought three different kinds of wipes to start my wipe collection and these are by far the best. I will agree with others as to the fact that the tag is cumbersome, but it is easily navigated. The other wipes I purchased were Fuzzi bunz Organic Cotton Cloth Wonder Wipes and Diaper Deb's Terry Cloth Organic Wipes. DD's used the same fabric but cut it in such a way to make them roll up into cigars at every wash. DD's are also smaller. FB are very thin and don't really absorb any mess. I end up using two or three when I only need one of the BabyKicks. If I need to buy more I will buy BabyKicks, as they are affordable and of good quality.

We purchased the Grovia, Charlie Banana and Babykicks Cloth wipes for use in our Prince Lionheart Premium Antibacterial Wipe Warmer. Our baby is currently 10 weeks old. We use tap water on our wipes. No "wipe solutions" of any kind. We have not had any problems with diaper rash since we moved to cloth diapers and wipes 5 weeks ago. Hands down, our favorite are the Grovia wipes. Here is the breakdown:

Charlie Banana: Our least favorite of the bunch. When we bought these, the price was $17.99 for 20 organic cotton wipes. This seemed like a great value for 20 wipes! However, the cloth is a thin jersey type cotton (like thin tee-shirt material). The weave on these wipes actually repels liquids. With the other wipes, I just wet the stack under the tap and then load the stack into the wipe warmer. These wipes will not absorb water this way. I have to load the dry wipes in the warmer and then fill the warmer with water and they very slowly absorb the water over a few hours. It is a pain. Secondly, the cloth sticks to itself when wet. They are folded in half to fit in the warmer and pulling one out of the warmer and unfolding it requires two hands or a strong one-handed flick which sprays water droplets around the bathroom. Both of which are annoying when holding a squirming baby on the changing pad. Because the material is so thin, it does not hold heat from the warmer for very long, though it is usually adequate. Lastly, the material does not grab goo as well as the other two and we use more wipes per diaper change. The Grovia and babykicks usually get the job done with one wipe.

Babykicks: Our mid-favorite. $14.50 for 10 organic cotton wipes at the time of purchase. The material is the same material found in cotton sweatpants; flannel texture on one side and a jersey knit texture on the other side. These are the smallest wipes of the lot so you have to be a bit more careful not to get your hands into poo. I also don't care for the circular shape. Folded in half, they also fit nicely in our wipe warmer. Unlike the Charlie banana, these absorb water and baby stuff just fine. The fabric texture is grabby, but still soft on baby's skin. They sometimes unfold themselves as we pull them out of the warmer, but they often need a little help.

Grovia: The hands down winner! $10.95 for a dozen at the time of my purchase. 12 are a perfect fit in the warmer when folded in half. The thick baby-terry cloth absorbs water and baby goo beautifully. They unfold out the the warmer perfectly everytime. No flicking or extra hand needed. Because they are a polyester blend, they do not stain. This is a nice plus. They hold the heat from the warmer the best of the three and our baby loves the warm/soft feeling of these wipes. The terry is very soft and fine (baby-terry) and it grabs goo beautifully. We never need more then one of these per diaper change. The only drawback to these is the surged-edge fraying that other reviewers have also noted, however, these are still our hands down favorite.

I am ordering more of the Grovia and tossing the Charlie Banana and Babykicks into the rag bucket.

I have been using cloh wipes for three weeks with my newborn. I have tried babykicks wipes, homemade flannel wipes, and Kissaluvs wipes. I like these wipes best. They really clean up my baby's bottom. They shrink after the first washing, but they really get the job done. I prefer using two small wipes for each diaper change. One side is smooth and one side a bit rougher, for getting the really nasty stuff off the skin. Both sides are very soft, though. I use the wipes with a wipes solution and just throw them in the diaper pail with the cloth diapers. It's very simple and cost-effective. I recommend buying at least two packs.

These cloths are so absorbent! I originally bought them as tushie wipes, but they were so soft and absorbent that I now use them as baby wash cloths and I fold them and stuff them in my bra to use as reuseable breast pads. I love these cloths!

From previous reviews, I expected the tags to be ginormous, but they're actually just tiny. Also, the tags all say Made in USA, so the "OMG THESE WERE MADE IN CHINA" reviews do not apply either. I don't bother to run mine through the dryer, I just take them out after the spin cycle and put them right in the wipes warmer (I got the Prince Lionheart Warmies Wipes Warmer ), so the "they get rough when you line dry them" reviews don't apply to me either.

So, I like these cloths just fine and may buy more. My baby has not yet arrived, so I've just been experimenting (or as my husband calls it, "playing"), but I will post an update as soon as I know how they fare against newborn poops.

EDIT: So, my little one arrived and I've been able to try these out with actual baby poo. They did fine against both the sticky, nasty meconium and regular runny breast-fed newborn poo.

Another EDIT: My daughter is now almost 2 years old, and we still use these little wash cloths for all kinds of things, like washing little faces and hands and wiping up small spills. I run them through the dryer now, since we don't use the wipe warmer any more (potty training!), but they are still holding up just fine.
