My son really likes the taste and I like that it is healthy and very convenient to pack in his diaper bag to take with us when we are going somewhere.I am a big fan of the Sprout Organic Baby food line. My son isn't a fan of the multi-grain cereal, but he loves all the savory meals I have purchased. I also prefer the packaging over glass jars. Our son loves this cereal. This is a nice transition meal before he starts real solid food. I like that the mixed berries expose him to a few different types of berries.Sprout Organic Baby Food Multi-Grain Cereal with Fruits and Berries, 5.5-Ounce (Pack of 12)
Earth's Best Organic Elmo Mini Meals, 15 Ounce Cans (Pack of 12)
Usually go for around $3 a can in the store so I get them from here when I can. All 12 cans arrived in good shape and expiration date was not next week so I am happy.I received this item the other day and every single can in the box was dented. Not sure if this was a fluke thing or if it's normal since this was the first time ordering these.
Also, my 20 month old daughter who eats everything under sun would NOT eat these. I'm not sure if she didn't like the taste or if she just has to get use to them. She LOVED her Gerber raviolis and since she ate so many of them I wanted to try and go organic but she can't seem to swallow these (no pun in tended). I'm going to try a couple more times and if she won't eat them I will probably go back to Gerber brand. Maybe my 5 month old son will like them when he's old enough.

Philips Avent Express Baby Food and Bottle Warmer
The unit does not have an automatic timer, which means YOU have to keep up with how long the bottle has been in the warmer. And when you are trying to deal with a fussy infant, it's easy to lose track of time and overheat the bottle.
The unit has no Off/On switch and must be unplugged after each use.
Another small annoyance is the bottle does not sit flat, but floats unevenly in the water while heating.
I finally purchased another model which included these features.First off, reading the other "not-so-warm" reviews was amusing to read!!! I say this because, out of all the warmers out there, the AVENT one is far the best! NEW MOMS, READ the directions FIRST... There is a fill line inside the warmer that shows you how much water to put... ALSO, in the DIRECTION BOOKLET, it SAYS DO NOT PLACE WATER FIRST, PLACE BOTTLE FIRST then FILL with WATER to DESIRED LEVEL of formula in bottle... If you are using the 9oz bottles then fill to the top of the warmer! To SOLVE the problem of the ON/OFF switch dilemna, I plugged my unit on one of those multiple outlet strips with a switch... Instead of unplugging the unit, I just turn the switch... SIMPLE!!! LADIES be inventive when it comes to children, this is my first, AND I am finding new ways to streamline! It holds the AVENT, MAWS, and JOHNSONS Healthflow ANGLED very nicely! The BEST thing about this warmer is it REALLY HEATS EVENLY and HAS a nice WARM consistency. ENJOY!

I bought the avent baby warmer and whilst not totally disappointed in it I also can not say that it is one of avents best products. To list a few negative points
1The product has no on/off button and personally I prefer not to take out plugs and leave them on the side when the surface is potentially wet also I have found that sometimes when removing plugs this can cause a spark which would be an unpleasant surprise for anyone however an adapter with an on off button does resolve this problem but adds cost to the product if you don't already have one.
2The timings are not accurate which means I have to keep checking bottles so they don't overheat and when the bottle gets put back into the warmer the pressure of the bottle going into the water causes the water to overflow no matter how carefully done.
However on the positive side the warmer does heat the milk evenly and to a good temperature when kept an eye on and saves some time.
The best thing about any product is that it is designed so well that anyone can use it safely and effectively, the purpose of a great product is not to find ways of overcoming the products design faults. Having spoken to a many number of friends many of them agree that this product is a nice to have but by no means necessary.
However as with all avent products this is the best on the market so if you want a bottle warmer this is the one to buy.

This is one of my favorite baby products as far as convenience goes. I've read several of the reviews here. I do agree that the absence of an on/off switch is somewhat of a nuisance, however this is my only complaint. With regard to a lot of the other consumer gripes and methods of use, I disagree and feel I must address them. Obviously, as with any new product acquired, it is usually most beneficial to a consumer to carefully read the instructions and follow them. The front of the warmer has a convenient diagram to remind the user of heating and timing settings per size and type of bottle. To warm regular Avent 4 oz. or 9 oz. bottles that have previously been refrigerated (~40 degrees), and for bottles prepared at around room temp (~70 degrees), the thermostat needs to be at 3. The water levels and heating times differ. I feel that I need to reiterate some of the instructions for any of you prospective consumers who would like to be well and accurately informed:Hazard Warning:
-Always unplug when not in use.
-Always place bottle into warmer BEFORE adding water.
-Ensure water has been added before switching the unit on.
-When the feed has reached the required temperature, remove immediately. If left in the warmer, the temperature of the feed will continue to increase.
Instructions for use for regular Avent feeding bottles:
-Ensure basket is in place inside the warmer.
-Place the assembled, filled bottle in the warmer.
-For 4 oz. bottles, (slowlyto avoid air bubbles) fill the warmer with water to just above the level of milk in the bottle.
-For larger bottles, fill the warmer to 1/2 inch below the rim of the warmer.
-Never let the water level rise above the neck of the bottle, or spill over the edge of the warmer.
-Plug in the unit . Turn the dial setting to 3.
-The light will illuminate to indicate the warmer is working.
-When the water has reached the correct temperature, the light will come on and off to indicate that the water surrounding the bottle is kept at a constant temperature.
-Always shake the bottle gently and check the temperature of the milk by sprinkling a few drops on to your wrist before you feed your baby.
If you follow these instructions and set a timer you should have a perfectly warmed 4 oz bottle in 5 minutes for previously refrigerated bottles; a 9 oz (previously refrigerated) bottle will be warmed in 6 minutes. Times for heating bottles from room temp are 4 minutes for either size.
I personally own the regular Avent bottles. This warmer will also accommodate the Avent Disposable System bottles, Avent Magic cup, baby food jars, and other makes of bottles. Instructions for these vary slightly for heat settings and times.
The basket can also be removed to allow the varying types to fit inside.
Overall, I am very happy with this product. It has saved me a lot of time and headaches.

We've always used the microwave (most of the time) or a jug of hot water (when a mircowave wasn't available) to warm our first two children's bottles of formula this worked fine for us as we knew the exact time to make the bottle just right.Unfortunately my third child had to spend some time in hospital when he was two weeks old. What we learned from his nurses is that microwaves can 'zap' a lot of goodness out of your formula (the hosptial used a microwave as well until they were told this). We also learned that the prescription only formula he now has to have tastes digusting when not kept very warm.
Hence our decision to purchase the Avent bottle warmer. What we like about it is that it is easy to re-warm our bottles during a feed when the need arises and keeps all the goodness in the formula. The lack of an on/off switch is a bit annoying but we just turn it off at the plug. The fact that the light goes on and off as it's keeping the water at a constant temperature is also a bit of a pain as at 2am in a dimly lit kitchen you can just assume you already turned off the plug when you haven't if the light is out.
Despite these negatives things, they far outweigh the advantages for us of keeping our son's formula nice and warm. It's easy to use, easy to keep clean and has worked pefectly from the day we bought it.
We love it.
Baby Mum-Mum Organic Original Flavor Rice Biscuit, 24-pieces (Pack of 6)
Anyway, my son loves to chew on these and play with them, and they don't make a mess like other teething biscuits. They are easy for him to hold and manipulate. I definitely recommend these over the other types of finger food and biscuits that you can get.
I bought mine from Amazon (for a good price for six boxes) but I have also seen these at Babies R US.Baby Mum-Mum Organic Rice Rusks are great for calming a fussy baby. They are slightly sweet and dissolve quickly in the mouth. You would still watch your baby when they are eating these because they can still choke on these if they try to stuff a big piece in their mouth. This happened to us only once and our baby just spit it back out with a gag reflex. I love giving these to our baby while we're having our dinner so he can feel like he's eating with us. The only problem with these are when they get moist from being in the baby's mouth and it ends up on the baby's clothes or high chair or car seat, they dry like cement to whatever it is sticking to. I love that they are organic though but I don't like that they are made in China.
Pros: calms baby's fussiness, dissolves quickly, baby can practice self-feeding, organic
Cons: potential choking hazard, made in China, hardens to fabrics and objects when wet

I love that these are organic and as an infant, my son loved munching on these. They are quick to dissolve which is a plus for new solid eaters. They are pretty bland and tasteless and have the consistency of a rice cake almost. It's good for new eaters, but as a toddler my son won't eat these anymore.

My 7-month-old easily gums these and they dissolve without inducing gagging! He liked them so much the very first time he tried them, I took a taste and was a bit disappointed because they did taste slightly sweet to me (they do have sugar)...but I'll likely buy these again, and recommend these over anything from Gerber!Want Baby Mum-Mum Organic Original Flavor Rice Biscuit, 24-pieces (Pack of 6) Discount?
I really don't like the fact that they are made in china.Even if its organic, I don't feel comfortable that it's from china so I probably wont get it anymore...
Naturepedic Organic Cotton Portacrib Mattress
Buy Naturepedic Organic Cotton Portacrib Mattress Now
I bought this for our mini crib and it fits nice and snug. The "mattress" that came with the mini crib was just a cheap 1.5-inch foam pad surrounded in plastic. It smelled bad and we threw it away. Our baby sleeps great on the naturepedic mattress and I sleep well knowing that he is safe and not breathing in toxic fumes. The price is great, too! We loved it so much, we bought a second one for our pack'n'play since the mattress in that was thin, cheap and probably full of toxic stuff. This mattress is not very deep, like a regular size crib mattress but thicker than the flimsy "mattress" that came with the pack'n'play and our mini crib. The Naturepedic portacrib mattress feels sturdy and dense with just enough give to be comfy but not so much that it is dangerous for a baby to sleep on safely.
We have the full-size crib mattress also, and it is great, but our little one just never really slept well in the full-size crib. He prefers the mini crib. I'd recommend the naturepedic full-size crib mattress, if you are using a standard crib. Great quality, great fit and we love that it is organic and safe. Eventually he will use the bigger crib mattress when he moves into a toddler bed so I am glad we got it.
When we considered that our baby would be spending 15+ hours sleeping on his crib mattress, we wanted to make sure that the mattress was safe and non-toxic. Naturepedic offered the best quality, user-friendly product, at the most reasonable price, for us. My husband and I couldn't be more pleased. We recommend it to everyone who asks us about crib mattresses.

This arrived so quickly! I love that it's organic, and it seems like it's great quality, but I'm a little annoyed that it's advertised as a mattress when it's clearly not a mattress. It even says on its label that it's a pad. It's super thin, and I'm worried about whether or not it's going to be firm enough for a newborn. I know of no other options for mini crib mattresses that are organic (affordable or otherwise), so I might be stuck with this one. The fact that it's organic and free of dangerous chemicals is the reason I purchased it. I'm a nervous first-time mom, and I'm just not sure how I feel about this springless mattress pad as the primary surface for my baby to sleep on.Want Naturepedic Organic Cotton Portacrib Mattress Discount?
We bought a full size Naturepedic organic mattress for our toddler's crib when he was born almost 2 years ago, and it's been the best purchase. So when shopping for a mattress for the mini-crib his sister will be sleeping in, I knew I wanted another Naturepedic. So many other organic mattresses are more expensive because they are made with wool and latex 2 things I happen to be allergic to. I liked that this one is made from something I feel is safe for my baby to sleep on, and I feel the price is fair after actually seeing how well it works in our crib. This portacrib pad/mattress fits the DaVinci/Baby Mod mini cribs perfectly. Our mini crib came with a mattress that was horrible (although the cribs are great), it had gaps between the side and the mattress, and the mattress itself was flimsy and covered in vinyl. This Naturepedic mattress fits great, with a nice tight fit, and it's firm enough for a newborn. It's much sturdier and even half an inch thicker than the mattress provided by our crib manufacturer. I know some reviewers were worried that it's only 2 inches thick, and it's labeled as a "pad", but it is a mattress, and very high quality.
I highly recommend this mattress, and in case you're wondering, we've found that the Carter's Portacrib Sheets fit it perfectly.
Wean Green 2-Pack Wean Tubs Glass Food Containers
If you freeze baby food in 2 TBS blocks, then 2 frozen cubes will fit comfortably, and when they thaw, will probably fill it about 50%.These glass tubs are actually a re-branded version of the 150ml GlassLock containers. Glasslock products are made in Korea, but are available in the US (I actually found some at my local Whole Foods a couple weeks after I bought the Wean Greens) in varying sizes and sets. The Innobaby Innobaby Glass Rectangle Food Storage Container, 2 Pack, Green/Blue containers on Amazon also seem to be the spitting image of the very same glass tubs.
That said, the colored lids are only available through Wean Green, and they're a really nice touch for no extra expense. I have dropped the containers a couple of times on a hard tile floor that breaks everything else I own, and they survived. They're completely spill-proof, microwaveable, and freezable. Just don't put them in an oven. The 150ml (5 oz.) size is perfect for 2 1-oz. frozen cubes of food, as one reviewer said. My little guy started on solids at about that quantity; now with an 8.5 month-old I fill two containers with different stuff, about 75%-100% full each, and it's enough for lunch at the daycare.
Two-ounce containers of any kind would have been a waste of money; 5 oz. was a good start and I'll skip to 8 oz. for my next babyfood purchase. I'd buy these for all my leftovers too.

I am a new mommy who just started making food for my 5 month old. These are worth the money. When you receive them you will see the quality of how sturdy they are. The containers are perfect size and they DON'T LEAK! I bought other containers that were cheaper and they leaked. Save yourself time and just buy these containers.Read Best Reviews of Wean Green 2-Pack Wean Tubs Glass Food Containers Here
We love these wean green tubs for our 10-month-old--perfect for freezing homemade baby food. The glass container is easy to reheat (without the top) in a pan of water. We've used it repeatedly and the tops still snap on great. I prefer the round ones--easier to feed out of, and easier to clean. These rectangular ones may be better for carrot and celery sticks.Want Wean Green 2-Pack Wean Tubs Glass Food Containers Discount?
I originally bought these and the Wean Green Wean Cubes 4oz/120ml to hold my baby's homemade baby food for when we traveled and for microwave heating (trying to eliminate use of plastics). However, since then, I've been using these mostly for myself when I pack my lunches for work! These are great for holding small snacks (baby carrots, grapes, crackers, etc) so I don't have to use a plastic baggy everytime. These also work great for condiments like salsa, sour cream, peanut butter or salad dressings. These may seem pricey up front--but you get your money's worth out of them. Highly recommended.
