This was a decent price and my kids really liked the flavor. I send it to school in their preschool lunch box. I like it because it is more than just applesauce. They like it too. I would suggest to the marketers of Gerber to drop the baby face because for toddlers they are pretty sensitive to NOT being a baby. It works well for both preschoolers and babies. Also would suggest to put more in the pouch. 3.8 or 4 oz is ideal for my tots.
Munchkin: Fresh Food Feeder
I just bought a pair of these for my baby and their functionality is superb! My baby holds them easily, and loves eating with them.BUT they are near impossible to clean! Bananas are the worst to get out! I have rinsed and turned inside out & rinsed, run them through the dishwasher, and cursed at them. I would throw them out if my daughter didn't love them so much.
In the dishwasher, they catch crumbs and keep them, so the only way I have found to sanitize them is by first handwashing (10 min), then boiling for five minutes.
These are great for babies, but weigh them against the amount of cleaning frustration you are willing to tolerate. Also note that some foods are a lot easier to clean out than others anything stringy will have pieces twisted and wrapped into the mesh, so bananas, citrus, celery, and skins of any sort will give you a headache.
Now, they are still sitting dirty downstairs. I have tried scrubbing with a sponge, my hands, turning them inside out, using the sprayer, putting them in the dishwasher, dumping in boiling water.. i cannot get them clean. THere is banana all over them. I am thinking of calling Munchkin to get a new pair and just not using banana in it. I love the idea. Maybe grapes or something would be better. I still recommend trying this out, and if you find a better way to clean it let me know because i want to love this product!

With a small ice cube tray, you can freeze baby food and give it to them...... it helps SO much for teething, and also you really don't have to struggle to get them to eat! My son didn't even need to be taught how to use this! I was amazed and he's been using them twice a day for two weeks now! It's been a teething life saver as it helps keep him from being too grumpy. This product is genius and it doubles as a teether. Our baby frequently flips it around and naws on the handle. We use fresh organic pear and frozen organic strawberries, blueberries & raspberries (the cold is great on the gums). It is challenging to clean and would just say mush up your bananas and feed with a spoon this doesn't work well with bananas. Pear comes through the mesh very easily along with the berries. Our little one loves this and it's a treat for her. This is a must have for all new mamas and a very cheap purchase.*Baby may initially reject because of mesh but express some food out and they will love.
*Great for teething babies.
*Great transition from super pureed foods but before lumpy foods (this makes the food have some texture).
*Can be difficult to clean but just buy a baby tooth brush to get into all the nooks.
*Buy it, it's wonderful!

hi, just wanted to make you aware of a hazard on this product. the Munchkin fresh food feeder that i purchased had a small piece of different colored plastic on the locking part. this came off while my daughter was using it and she started to choke on it. luckily we were able to dislodge the piece and she's okay, but make sure yours doesn't have this part. I contacted the company and told them of the problem but i noticed the new feeder in the stores still have this hazard.

I am thankful for this product. My daughter was diagonized with "Failure to Thrive". The gastroenterologist and the nutrionist recommended this product. I was initially doubtful if my daughter was going to like the taste. She is a picky, fussy eater. She hates soy milk. So I ordered the smaller pack. Daughter seems to like it and drinks it without much fuss. She has gained good weight after drinking this for a month. (Around 3/4th of a can per day)At times I do feel that there is sort of metallic smell, maybe because of the can. But right now I dont have any other option. Daughter does not seem to notice.
It is available only in Amazon and couple of other websites. Amazon has the lowest price. I have checked for the same product in Walmart, BJ's, Shoprite, Stopnshop. But no such luck.

Let me preface this by saying I don't usually write such harsh reviews and it's unfortunate that this product missed the mark. But I also worry that the reviews may be misleading and perhaps even falsesomething I've heard about before but haven't encountered in many years.I am always looking for ways to organize my home since I like it neat. So when I came across this product, I ordered immediately. Especially when I saw all the great reviews. BUT, I'm not so sure all those reviews are fully accurate and have reported this to Amazon. Notice how most of the reviews are not verified purchasers, entered within the month of April within a span of a few days, and if you click on the see other reviews by that person many of them only review this or this and the other universal product. That makes me wondernot making an accusation, but seems odd doesn't it???
Now, when the product arrived I was actually quite hopeful because it seemed like good quality. Decent plastic (another reviewer said it was flimsy but I thought the opposite), VERY EASY to adjust to the three different sizes, came with an additional basket for storage that could be useful, and was about the right size to fit in a cupboard shelf (maybe a little big for the fridge or freezer though).
Make sure you note that if you try to put assembled sippy cups in there, the lids will make it all get stuck. The same with bottlesyou'll have to store them in pieces if you want to use this product. This might be a personal preference but I always take the extra few minutes to roughly assemble things so I can just grab and use. If you use the basket to separate this might not be a big deal, but you'll have to use the same brand to avoid extra effort.
BUT, even when I took them all apart, things just don't fall down smoothly at all. I tried bottles, sippy cups, cans, baby food, etc. and NOTHING flowed smoothly. I made sure to have all the same brand and it sort of worked here and there. However, at least 75% of the time, when I got to pulling two things out, it would get stuck behind the big center column. There's just too much space right there for it to really work. This appears to be a design flawinstead of being so vertical, it probably would have worked if it were more horizontal.
With my first son, I hated all the equipment just being in the cupboard so now that I've had a second I want more efficiency since I have less time. This is a GREAT idea. It reminds me of the old soda dispenser/stackers that a large plastics company used to sell and my mom had. Those worked well but were annoying to fill up (now they aren't needed since the soda companies are making those boxes with the flap to remove). Too bad this didn't work as well. I'm printing my return labels now.

Like probably many parents, I was tired of the bottle drying rack on the counter and the bottles and lids everywhere in the cabinet. This organizer had mixed reviews when I bought it, but I have to say I love it and so does the hubby! I have absolutely no complaints and highly recommend it.My only caution is this... measure your cabinet space because it is on the tall side and we had to do some rearranging in the cabinets to move it to one with more height.

-Too tall to fit in my kitchen cabinets so it sits on my kitchen counter (My kitchen was built in the 80s so they may be smaller than today's standard, I suggest measuring first if it must fit in the cabinet)
-The basket is sectioned off and seems made more for bottle pieces than sippy lids but it works.

Okay I am a big diapers.com girl so this was my first purchase on Amazon because I have heard about this product from several of my friends and dipaers.com currently does not sell it. I also am one of those people that does a ton of research before purchasing a product. Of course this is done when Brandt is put down to bed (lol...).Okay, so I found this product reviewed on SEVERAL sites. I was actually amazed at how many sites I did find it. The Baby Center is always my "go to site" if I really want to learn about a product. And as always, the baby center did not let me down. I also have read all the reviews that the people have posted to this site and this is what I am going to tell you.(1) It is super sturdy (2) It is kind of tall so i can see if you had an older kitchen it most likely would not fit in your kitchen cabinets. It would not fit in my Mother's but fits perfectly in mine. I would still suggest purchasing it even if you have to have it on your counter, a pantry would work great as well (3) I would not say it saves you a lot of space BUT what it does do is solve the falling bottles problem when you open up your kitchen cabinet doors. Which is one of my favorite parts about this product. Now I can reach in to grab a bottle with ease -vs.knocking ones all over the place (4) I can see what people are taking about when they talk about the bottles not always dropping down. this is true, once in awhile it kind of catches but honestly it takes a half of a second to flick it with your finger to resolve the issue. And like I said, it happens only once and awhile...and who cares when it does, it is not a big deal.(5) I love that it works with sippy cups as well. For ONCE my money spent on a baby product will last me for a few years which is really hard to come by when dealing with baby products. Brandt is only in bottles so I have not tried it yet with sippy cups but cannot imagine it not working great. (6) Okay, the whole I like my bottles put together issue. I am a gal that always stores my nipples and lids apart from the bottles. When my bottles come out of the dishwasher they have that wet stuff still inside so the last thing I want to do is cap it in .... YUCK! And of course, I do not want to try to stick a towel in there and dry it all the way so my stuff is always stored apart. This organizer is great for that because it helps dry the bottles so to speak as well as the basket because of the holes. This is a huge selling point for me -vs.some of the other moms who like to store it all together. by the way, it does store my prince lionheart 7 oz bottles with all the bells and whistles so maybe you have to have one of those super tall bottles to not let it fit???
I really think this is a great product and I am very happy that I purchased it. I hope my two cents worth helps :-)

I got this as a shower gift do used it for the first 6 months. However, I never seemed to pump a lot. I thought it was just me not producing a lot of milk. Recently I found a lansinoh double pump on clearance so picked it up. What a difference. On just one breast I extracted the same amount of milk in 1/3 of the time. Luckily I don't have to pump; I just do it to have some stored, but I wish I would have known from the beginning.

I purchased this as tommee tippee is a name that I trust so I got everything for feeding from them. The first time I used this it took a long time for anything to happen and then it took a long long time to produce a very small amount of milk. I was worried that I wasn't producing enough so ran to Walgreens and purchased a Medela manual pump. With this I had no problems and was able to fill the bottle in no time.I didn't want to totally discount the tommee tippee so yesterday I gave it another go. Yet again a disappointment and I ended up using the $35 manual pump. I really hope I can get my money back since there is clearly an issue with the product and not my breasts. I'm doing great with the rest of the tommee tippee range but I'm probably going to buy a Medela electric pump as friends rate it highly.

This product is a waste of money. It was leaking air from the moment I bought it, but as a first time mom, I didn't know any better. Now, three months later, the motor is shot. I didn't order from Amazon, but bought TWO of these in a 3 month period. Both broke on me and it wasn't like I was using them all the time either. Tried reassembling and everything. The motor is just gone. Condensation gets into it I believe even with best efforts for it not to. Go for a Medela.

My baby is 8 1/2 months old. The texture is extremely thick & it's also very dry. My baby hated it. We ended up giving it to our dog. She did well with the Chick Chick meal.We tried this with our 10-month-old son and he gagged repeatedly on the first bite. Tried it again and he almost vomited. I tasted it and discovered why. It was bland, dry, thick and in my opinion, down right repulsive. Why does baby food have to be tasteless to be healthy? It DOESN'T. My 8 month old daughter loved it. When I don't make my own baby food, this particular brand and flavor is just what she likes. My baby doesn't like all her food pureed like liquid; this baby food actually has slight texture but very soft.

My toddler is a sauce-a-holic and requires some sort of 'dipping sauce' with almost every meal. This plate is great! Might be a little small for older kids that require more food but it works well for a 2.5 yr old. I've sent it through the dish washer dozens of times and it shows no wear and tear.I'd recommend it and might actually buy some more (I already have 3).

My son loves to dip his food, so this plate has been perfect for him. I also use the small dipping bowl for cottage cheese or fruit. It has held up great in the dishwasher and it doesn't stain from food (like spaghetti).

I really would like to give this 3.5 stars. The good is that my baby is able to drink from it and doesn't have excess gas or spitting up. I have had problems of this nature with other bottles. The bottle is also sleek looking, easy to clean, and uncomplicated to use. The reason I give it 3.5 stars and not 5 is because the nipple and top are very chincy. The nipple after one use basically fell apart and the top is not far behind. The organic kids brand and the kid kanteen brand had much better quality parts, though, they were more expensive. If you have tried Nestle Cerelac (Stage 3 Mixed Veg and Mixed Fruits) from India, you will be disappointed by this Nestle Cerelac European version. This is becuase the Indian version contains small fragments of fruits and vegetables in the wheat flour suspension. That maks an interesting blend for the baby to eat and try new feeling for the food. But this European Cerelac is just a powdery mix and produces a blend paste like result.
