I have a cat with a heart condition that takes meds. twice daily. This is a little loose off the shelf, but after refrigeration it is perfect to wrap around a pill and feed him off a spoon. You want to use the least amount of food possible so the patient will lick it up in one bit, never noticing the hidden pill. I have also tried other varieties that are very soupy and are to messy for babies or pets.Read Best Reviews of Gerber 2nd Foods Meats, 2.5-Ounce (Pack of 12) Here
One of our ferrets has lymphoma. We give him a mix of the chicken, the ham, a little of the apple, peach, & banana, a touch of Ferret Vite, his prednisolone, and a bit of warm water out of the Zojirushi. Stir it up and watch him gobble it up! He does not like the beef, nor will he eat other brands like Beech-nut. And when ferrets don't like it, ferrets don't eat it. Anyway, 9 months on this diet and he is still hanging in there.Want Gerber 2nd Foods Meats, 2.5-Ounce (Pack of 12) Discount?
We have an elderly cat that is hyperthyroid, which leaves her often sick to her stomach. She absolutely HATED her prescription food from the vet for her condition--she hated it so much she would rather not eat at all then eat that food, and she was already skin and bones. So--we had to find an alternative food and continue giving her thyroid medicine. We've taken her off all corn-based feed and put her on Blue Buffalo, which has decreased her vomiting. We supplemented her food with the Gerbers Chicken & Gravy, 1/2 jar once a day. It is a treat for her and she isn't sick of it yet. It also seems to settle her stomach--she hasn't vomiting once after eating it. She has also begun to gain a little bit of weight, which is great. Buying the food from Amazon is a bit more expensive than getting it in local stores, but I like the delivery to the door, since I am disabled (and this vendor sends the food SUPER fast) .Gerber Graduates Biter Biscuits

GYRO BOWL Spill Resistant Kids Gyroscopic Bowl with Lid
As far as I'm concerned, this bowl does exactly what it advertises! The caviat is that it has to be held correctly by the rim. My toddler held it with her thumb inside at first, which you can't expect a gyro to work if you purposely keep it from moving. If your toddler wants to spill something purposely, they'll figure out how to spill this pretty quickly if you let them. Also, i think i read that someone threw their bowl across the room and were surprised when it broke. I thought it was pretty unrealistic to expect to bowl to survive that kind of impact, but it'll handle being casually dropped just fine. Anyway, my toddler holds it by the rim now and the bowl has definitely cut down on the spills during snack time. This product is probably overmarketed as 'spillproof', but it was definitely worth the money for me.After reading the reviews, both good and both, I figured we'd try the bowl for our 2 year old son. With free shipping and returns, how could we go wrong? I had the bowl out of the box for about 2 minutes, filled with cereal, before it spilled. I then handed it to our son to try out and he too, within minutes, had spilled the cereal. Neither of us was being overly aggressive with it, and it all came tumbling out. Will be returning these after only 2 days. Great concept, but doesn't function like it looks on TV.

We absolutely love this bowl and are planning to get a few more of them. My 18 month old uses this bowl for her snack every day and, while it doesn't prevent 100% of spills (it was never intended to), I bet we avoid somewhere between 80-90 percent of the spills we would get with a regular bowl. She walks all over the house with her snack and rarely do we have a spill (much to the dogs dismay!). The bowl is also easy for her to hold. One of the previous reviewers complained about the performance of the bowl with her 9 month old. I doubt it would be a good fit for most infants. It is designed more for toddlers.

The Loopa bowl is fun for toddlers. It's like a toy kids can eat out of. It's function is supposed to be that the contents don't spill as easily as a regular bowl. It's only good for dry foods such as cereal, fruit, etc.. obviously, since liquid would spill regardless. The kids give it 5 stars!Want GYRO BOWL Spill Resistant Kids Gyroscopic Bowl with Lid Discount?
So, I saw the bad reviews before I ordered the bowl and decided I would get it anyways because there were some 5 star reviews also. I thought the bowl was the best invention ever when I saw the commercial. When I got the bowl I immediately wanted my son to use it (He is 17 months). I cut up about 5 pieces of a banana (kind of sticky so I assumed it would stick to the bowl regardless) The bowl worked for 5 minutes. Somehow he managed to dump the bananas out all at once.
I say maybe it depends on the kid because the whole 5 mins my son was actually trying to figure out how he could dump the bananas out instead of reaching his hand in the bowl and just eating them that way.
I am keeping the bowl because I think it's cute but it doesn't work for rough lil toddlers who feel like they have to smear their snacks on the floor before they eat it. (i.e. my son)
The First Years Disney/Pixar Cars Simple and Secure Booster
Seriously though it's exactly as stated, simple and secure, There's no bells or whistles it's just a booster seat. My son is just about 18months and it's perfect. He really likes being able to sit at the table with us instead of his clunky highchair. It's definitely portable just detach the straps from the chair and put it in the car, or the bottom of your carriage if your on foot.
~Loretta
Our son loves it. Well, he loves anything CARS.
But it's a bit too high his legs doesn't fit under the table. Won't recommend it to a friend, but don't hate it enough to return it.

I purchased this for my son who is too big for the high chair but still too low for the chair alone. This was perfect. My son loves getting into his Cars chair to sit at the table. It has an adjustable t-strap to keep him in and 2 straps to the chair. Very sturdy when adjusted. Great buy!

I got this for my 2.5 year old son. The seat is very small, and it's not very comfortable for him. Not only is there not much room for his butt and thighs, but the seat is very short (only takes up half of our chair) so his legs are left in an awkward position hanging over both the booster seat and the edge of the big chair.ReSnackIt Reusable Sandwich Size Bag
Downside as compared to airtight glass containers (which is what we normally use got these for my Kindergartener as an alternative to the heavy glass container): If you are going to a park with squirrells, make sure your food is tightly packed away. Our bag with a half eaten sandwich was left in an open diaper bag in a stroller, and a squirrell made away with it, tore the bag to shreds and ate the leftover sandwich. :(

I bought a set of Resnackit bags about six months ago from a friend with a cloth diaper business. These bags are awesome! So many super cute designs to hold sandwiches and snacks for myself and my toddler. I always toss raisins or grapes in one and throw it in my purse before I leave the house. They're easy to use, environmentally wise, cute, washable (even in the dishwasher, though I put mine in my regular washer), and an excellent alternative to plastic baggies. The only downside to these is that they aren't airtight so you can't really store items in them. However, that hasn't kept me from buying 8 of these awesome bags!I love the concept of reusable bags. Overall their use is limited. Since they fold and close with Velcro, you need to consider what you put in the bag because it is not sealed. For example, chips will be stale by lunchtime if packed in the morning. Also, food must be dry no fruit that is juicy or pickles or foods of that nature. Hard to clean and need plenty of time to dry after cleaning.Eco Baba - Stainless Steel 12oz. Spout (Pink)
1. VERY difficult to screw cap on properly. Sometimes it takes me 8 tries, sometimes just one. I used the advent nipples recommended, wet the plastic part that comes in contact with the base of the silicone nipple, tried very hard to line the threads up properly and ensured the cap was screwed evenly. Not easy in the middle of the night let me tell you!!
2. Fat bottle does not fit in conventional bottle warmers or normal sized mugs. You need a wide and deep bowl or huge mug.
Those two problems caused a lot of frustration, but I sucked it up and used it anyway b/c I don't want to use plastic. Hoping the designers can tweak it to make a perfect product.
Btw, pur bottles are also stainless steel and are slimmer so easier to warm, but even more difficult to screw top on properly. Leaked quite a bit even when it seemed perfectly screwed on. We used our eco baba for milk and pur for water only. The silicone adiri bottles that I used for my first born were great except difficult to fill without leakage, and difficult to warm even with the separate end caps. Company also not around anymore.

I also love the nuk brand as I feel like its better for their little mouthes and growing teeth. My son loves these pacifiers and the sports themes are great. All pacifier clips fit on them as well, so that helps.green sprouts 7 Ounce Sippy Tumbler
I have tried:
1. Pura sippy with the harder Avent spout I loved that it's not plastic, has OZ markings inside but it is super heavy when filled with liquid. My son didn't like it. He couldn't figure out how to use it.
2. Life factory glass sippy Again, it's not plastic which is great, has Oz markings on the sleeve and it is super heavy when filled with liquid. He is okay with this one but won't use it for a long time.
3. Vital Baby Toddler 10oz It's plastic, has oz markings, super light, leak proof but my son refused to drink out of it.
4. Thermos Foogo stainless steel sippy 10oz Stainless steel is great, double wall vacuum insulation is awesome (keeps liquid cold for 7 hrs), has no OZ markings. My son likes this but again won't use it for a long time.
Now for the Green Sprout Sippy I was about to give up and told myself that my son was just not ready to move to a hard spout sippy. I figured I was pushing him and decided to keep him on the silicone spout. I forgot I had ordered this a couple of days ago and when it arrived, I didn't expect much. I offered the sippy with water and expected him to push it away; but to my surprise, my son took to it right away! With this sippy, he drinks more water and will gulp down his toddler formula as if this was his bottle! I thought it was just a fluke and offered him milk later and he took it again! I am not sure why he likes this, maybe it's just a coincidence, but it's clear that he prefers this one over all the other sippys. Even his daycare said he has no issues with this one.
Anyways, this sippy has pros and cons, just like any other sippy.
Pros:
1. My son likes it!
2. It has no valve, less parts to clean. It's just the cup and the lid that you snap on.
3. This has no rings on the top portion of the cup, so when your little one is older, you can just use this as a regular cup!
4. Does not leak. The lid snaps on very securely. Your child will NOT be able to open it. Just fold the spout down and your ready to go!
5. Flow is not super fast but fast enough where it requires less sucking to get the liquid out.
6. It's super light and a lot smaller than how it appears in the picture. It's perfect for little hands.
7. Has milliliter markings (better than nothing)
8. It doubles as a toy. After my son is done drinking, I fold the spout down and he shakes it vigorously for his entertainment.
Cons:
1. It's Plastic.
2. No Oz Markings
3. Only holds 7oz
4. Lid is really hard to remove. I am not a petite woman but even I have to admit it's difficult! If you're trying to open the lid with liquid in it. Please do it over the sink until you get good at it!
5. Not leak proof when turned upside down. This must be used under supervision. Only time it will not leak is when the spout is folded down.
6. You will always have a little bit of formula left over due to the location of the spout.
For now my son only uses these so I ordered 4 more. I will try to introduce him to the Life Factory and Foogo Sippy only because they are not plastic and I spent a lot of money for them! For anyone who may be in a similar situation, please give this a try!
Tip: Do not fill over the 200ml line! Otherwise when you press down on the lid to close it, the liquid will shoot out of the spout and into your face!
If you need the milliliter markings, I recommend you buy the green color. The blue is much darker and it is very hard to see the markings.I agree with EVERYTHING Kamy said before. I will add an additional comment: the cups are STACKABLE. I do not have a very large kitchen and sippy cups become pretty unwieldy. I now have one stack of cups and tops in the corner ready to go. This has saved me a lot of space.

This is so easy to close that it doesn't end up leaking in the lunch box at the end of the day. It doesn't leak and my daughter can flip the top herself at 20 months. No handles means it fits in a bottle pocket of a bag or a cup holder. When you remove the lid it becomes a regular cup with no threads and no wide lip. So you can use it at the table and then stick the lid on when needed.Read Best Reviews of green sprouts 7 Ounce Sippy Tumbler Here
I bought this cup for my daughter. It is a good cup and has stood up to many cleanings and some abuse. The only problem that I could find with it is that the lid is really hard to get off.Love this cup for ALL the reasons other reviewers have given it high marks including the fact that the lid is hard to get off! That means my toddler can't pull it off himself and because it's not a screw-top, it can be used as a regular cup later on. The best thing about this cup is that there are only 2 parts to clean the lid and the cup. No more searching around in the kitchen sink for valves, straws etc. The cup will not leak when the sippy spout is pushed down but when the spout is up and the cup is turned upside down, liquid easily comes out. The only down side with this cup is the size, I wish they made bigger ones, such as a 10oz.Kangovou Stainless Steel Flat Plate

+++Additional Info+++
Wow! Decided to use the snack container and put a few Cheerios in it. Let my 9 month old hold it. Of course, he dropped it and POP! Off snapped the lid. I tried to put it back on, but one of the two prongs that held the lid on had broken off. Really?! Certainly not a baby product!

This came very handy for a quick snack when you are on the go. Can fit in any bag or purse without taking up space.love this product but the lid is not tight, slides around by itself. get tons of comments on it thoughMy daughter enjoys this cup because it fits in her hand and she feels as if she has "secret snacks", but the quality is certainly lacking. The plastic feels thing and cheap, almost to the point that I worried about cuts as she placed her hand down the hole. The swivel lid doesn't stay shut, but it is easy for my daughter to spin around and get snacks out. The lid has come off during regular use, but I was able to pop it back into place. My daughter almost refuses to eat out of anything else, but I know that if we don't break her of this, we will end up having to buy replacements because there is no way it will last a long time.Innobaby Glass Rectangle Food Storage Container, 2 Pack

Pros:Size is perfect for making baby food.
Glass container bottom won't absorb smell/stains.
Rubber seals on plastic lid so no spills.
Four sided enclosure lid to keep lid on tight and prevent spills.
Great buy durring the Amazon Monday baby sale.
Cons:
Too bad the lid couldn't be made of glass somehow.
ADDITION (7/16/2012) Having used this product now for 2months now, I can see the lid locking mechanism being a weak point of this product; over time, open/closing the lid, I feel the flap may break off. However, if it does, we will have gotten our moneys worth. Despite this dreaded possible outcome, I still like this product and it remains 5STARTS for me. Just wanted to share this perspecitve with other prospective buyers.

These are cute and very handy and I love not having to use plastic bowls for my baby. However, they're pretty small, so as soon as your baby moves on to bigger portion sizes these probably won't be big enough. I freeze his food in ice cube trays and even though the actual food volume would still fit in those bowls, the frozen cubes will not because of their shape, which is unfortunate. I usually get two cubes in there if I shuffle them around a bit, but definitely not more than that. The other negative thing is that it's difficult to clean the lids. As most airtight lids they have a rubber tube type of thing that goes around the insde of the lid and it's not attached and can be taken out. But this means that food or moisture can also get in, behind the rubber, so in order to make sure it's really clean you have to take the rubber thing out adn then put it back in. Not that big of a deal, but kind of a pain in the behind if you have to clean three lids on a daily basis!Ella's Kitchen Organic Baby, 3.5 Ounce Pouches (Pack of 7)
What upsets me the most is that there is not even a warning or announcement on Amazon or at Target stores stating that there has been a mistake?!! If the company knows, why isn't this info passed on to the consumer?!!? Here I thought I was purchasing (a more expensive) but also more nutritionally complete product for my baby and to find out it's just as void of nutrients as all of the other brands on the shelves. I really thought this company was exciting and different and focused on kids' nutrition and health. I guess not. I am asking for a refund at the very least. Honestly, the company is lucky if parents don't decide to take up a lawsuit for their negligence in getting the word out. The incorrectly labeled packs should be recalled like anything elsenot left on the shelves to trick parents! Normally, I am not one to overact and am certainly not litigious in the least. Humans (and companies run by humans) make mistakes. It's natural. But as a physcian and a mother, I am really annoyed by the lack of respect shown to consumers in failing to notify the community of this error. This flavor does not actually contain 120% of daily iron for babies, as still listed on most packaging. This was a grievous error (a "printing error" according to the company). This flavor only contains 6% iron, in the realm of most other baby food pouch products. Unfortunately, this company has failed to pull mislabeled products or notify distributors of the long running error.

We spent two years feeding our iron-deficient son this product only to find out (via a sticker placed atop the old nutritional label) that Ella's Kitchen Spinach Apples + Rutabagas contains very little iron at all.Have a look for yourself. Here's the old label:
Iron: 120%
Vit C: 15%
Calcium: 70%
Sodium: 20mg
And here's the new one:
Iron : 4%
Vit C: 0%
Calcium: 4%
Sodium: 75mg
In other words, for two years the nutritional label was bogus. What the product actually contained was 1/30th the iron and almost 4 times the salt. This is completely unacceptable and suggests a lack of quality control that makes it very difficult for us to trust Ella's Kitchen's other products and nutritional claims.
We'll be removing them from our shopping list.

I also have been buying these pouches because of their supposed iron content. The broccoli, pears and peas pouch has a label that states it contains 45% of the daily recommended allowance of iron. The sweet potato, pumpkin, apple and blueberry pouch also states on the label that it contains 45% of the daily recommended allowance of iron. This is not true! The company's own website states these pouches only have 2-4% of the daily recommended allowance of iron yet the incorrectly labeled pouches are still on the market. I will not buy from this company again.
