I would like to start by saying that I never write reviews---as a working Mom, I simply don't have the time. However, the safety issue with this product is just too important not to share with customers. I have been using these to store my own baby food for the past 3 months and at first, I loved them. However, after only 3 months of use, the inside rims of the glass have CHIPPED! This is of course extremely unsafe for baby and I have thrown them out. It is unfortunate because it is a very convenient product, but with this type of issue, they should really be recalled.

These are Awesome for moms on the go, who also like to make thier own baby food. I pop a couple of frozen, organic, homemade cubes into them, microwave them, seal'em up, and go out on the town. I don't have to worry! They don't leak, and they travel great, even through the inevitable drops from my 3 boys! LOVE THESE!

Too bad the lid couldn't be made of glass somehow.

ADDITION (7/16/2012) Having used this product now for 2months now, I can see the lid locking mechanism being a weak point of this product; over time, open/closing the lid, I feel the flap may break off. However, if it does, we will have gotten our moneys worth. Despite this dreaded possible outcome, I still like this product and it remains 5STARTS for me. Just wanted to share this perspecitve with other prospective buyers.

These are cute and very handy and I love not having to use plastic bowls for my baby. However, they're pretty small, so as soon as your baby moves on to bigger portion sizes these probably won't be big enough. I freeze his food in ice cube trays and even though the actual food volume would still fit in those bowls, the frozen cubes will not because of their shape, which is unfortunate. I usually get two cubes in there if I shuffle them around a bit, but definitely not more than that. The other negative thing is that it's difficult to clean the lids. As most airtight lids they have a rubber tube type of thing that goes around the insde of the lid and it's not attached and can be taken out. But this means that food or moisture can also get in, behind the rubber, so in order to make sure it's really clean you have to take the rubber thing out adn then put it back in. Not that big of a deal, but kind of a pain in the behind if you have to clean three lids on a daily basis!
