we are buying a few more, not only is it cute, its a good size and locks tight, everyone wants to use it now

This is a great lunchbox for dry food and food that is large enough not to fall between the gap (Cheerios would be too small and would mix with other food in the compartments). My 3 year old likes it, and she can open it easily. It has been washed in the dishwasher a few times and still looks good. I'll have to see how it lasts long term thoughwe've only had it a month so far.

This was a lot bigger than I expected it to be. That was a nice suprise. It was solid and didnt feel cheap at all. I will be using it every day. Well, at least until I get the other one I ordered, then I will be switching off between the two!!

I bought this thinking I would go with the bento craze now that my oldest child is in school. While the cute bento them lasted a couple of weeks, the lunch box has lasted longer.

The only reason I give four stars instead of five is due to the fact that even with gentle hand washing, the cute owls started showing scratches and chips after only a month of use, but that might also be due to being in the hands of a five-year-old.
