Highchair Steering Wheel

Highchair Steering WheelI originally bought this to attach to the tray in my daughter's stroller, but the suction cup is too big for the smallish tray, so it's being used for what it's intended for; the much larger highchair tray.

It's a great toy and all, but the suction cup is totally useless! It stays on for two seconds and then the toy falls over and my daughter throws it on the floor in frustration. I end up having to sit there and hold the thing in place while she plays. I was thinking of either replacing the suction cup somehow, or just putting a piece of industrial velcroe on it, though it would be inconvenient to have a piece of velcroe permanently stuck to the highchair tray.

Overall, A+ on the toy, Fon the suction cup method of attachment.

This toy is frustrating because it doesn't actually suction to his highchair. So as cool as it is, it doesnt stay down, thus its pointless.

My Granddaughter loves playing with steering wheels and honking horns so thought this would be great to keep her occupied at meal times. It was bigger than I thought but the main problem is it does not stick to surfaces no matter what we do. Since that was the point of getting it, I was disappointed.

Green Sprouts Silicone Placemat, Green

Green Sprouts Silicone Placemat, GreenI bought this thinking that I would put in the diaper bag and use it for dining out. However, the lip around the edge of the placemat makes it rather difficult to fold or roll. The instructions on the box also say that it should not be folded for a prolonged period of time.

We have been using it with our 13 month old at the table. He enjoys sitting up to the table without his highchair tray. The mat does stick to our wood table. I just lay the mat down and smooth it with my hands until it sticks. It will stay in place for normal eating behavior, but it will not stick if your child is determined to to pull it off. I would classify this as "non-skid". My son usually leaves it in place until he is full and then tries to throw it when he is finished eating. I put his finger food straight onto the placemat, which works well because of the lip all around the edge.

It's easy to clean, and the color is neutral. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase.

I researched a lot of mats before deciding on this one. I'm very pleased with it. It is easy to wipe clean with wet cloth or wash/rinse clean under the faucet. It secures dishware to prevent some skidding (not perfect here but way better than our glass table). What I love best is the lip that is along the perimeter which you don't find on most mats. If our toddler manages to spill (or in some cases, dump) his cup or something else with liquid, the lip prevents the liquid from escaping the placemat area. The mat having some weight and slight stickiness to it has yet to be peeled completely from the table and thrown by my toddler. He has only managed to lift up the edges. This is our one and only mat for him.

We bought this because the table top tray for the Stokke highchair is too expensive. This is even better (I think this is also better than the silicone mat with the food trough and cow decor)!!!! It is smaller, so less obtrusive. The sides are high enough to catch liquids, but easy for my daughter to reach food over (BLW). She has discovered that if she pulls the food to the edge, she can suck it right off the mat. The mat sticks to our old metal table like glue-stays flat and looks nice. The entire mat is flexible silicone, so can roll, but thick (here is where the cow one would have it beat). Dishwasher safe (top).

love this little place mat for our two year old. just perfect for our needs. at first i wanted something to suction to our wood table for stability, but when nothing i bought would stick, i tried this and i am very happy. no slipping and helpful at mealtime.

My son likes to throw everything off of the table when he's done eating and this sticks to the table without messing up the finish. I don't put it in the dishwasher because it hand washes very easily and rolls up for storage.

Nuby 2 Pack Nibbler with Cap

Nuby 2 Pack Nibbler with CapThe very good things about it:

baby can't choke

has caps (important for travel or any other situation where you can't clean it right away but don't want to create mess)

possible to buy replacement mesh

easy to hold for a baby

The possible improvements:

would be nice to add a hole in the handle so I can tie it up with something as baby throws it on the floor

I think the mesh is little bit too big at least for my 7 m.o. 2/3 of its current size would be perfect.

Hint: bananas can be tricky if you wait some time to clean, so wash it right away. Then it's really easy and mesh stays clean.

These are great for young eaters.

We've used them for

-frozen fruit

-steamed veggies

-chicken

-frozen yogurt.

They work just as described allowing your child to practice chewing with no fear of biting of a chunk sizable enough to choke on. The only thing I was is that the nets were easier to clean.

For maximum cleanliness, soak nets in HOT soapy water IMMEDIATELY after use... use a spoon to keep them submerged.

We just loved these! These are great to use everyday but for us they were especially helpful when she was teething. We put frozen fruits inside when she had sore swollen gums and it was a lifesaver! I highly recommend having at least one of these if you have a baby!!!

Gerber Graduates Single Pack Lil' Trainer BPA Free Tableware Set, 3 Piece Set, Colors May Vary

Gerber Graduates Single Pack Lil' Trainer BPA Free Tableware Set, 3 Piece Set, Colors May VaryI ordered 3 of these because my toddler still likes using these and soon I will have another self-feeding toddler. The old design had many complaints by other reviewers (pieces don't stay together or are difficult to put back together) but I just wanted to let others know that the white piece on the bottom of the plate is now STUCK ON the plate so it does not come apart. Now, I purchased 3 more thinking that the pieces would come apart as I only use the top 2 pieces anyway before, so the bottom piece stuck on was a surprise to me. At first I was not pleasantly surprised, but now that my son has used it a few times with the plate sucked on to his place mat I'm happy that it comes stuck on. The top piece is still challenging to put back onto the plate, but with practice it's not so bad!

My only "problem" is that Amazon does not allow us to pick the colour. I have 2 sons, and of the 3 I ordered, I got 2 pink sets!

I love this product. Unlike the other reviewers, I don't use the suction cup. I don't have a problem with my son leaving his plate/bowl on his tray (he is 19 months). My son struggled with getting food on his spoon and the curved rim helped him immensely. He used to use his hands to help put the food on his spoon/fork, but after two meals with the plate he has figured out that he doesn't need to anymore. A matter of fact, he no longer needs my help to feed himself at all. I can give him his plate and spoon and finish doing the dishes without worrying about messes. I would highly recommend this product if you are looking for dinnerware that will help your child learn how to use a spoon/fork without the help of others or their fingers.

We love this bowl. Little One has been using it for about two weeks now she is 16 months. The rim helps her get food on her spoon and she LOVES the independence of being able to feed herself.

The suction works perfectly on our high chair tray and wooden table. she has tried a few times to pull it off, but mostly she just leaves it alone she's much more interested in eating!

Gotta say, I was skeptical about trying this plate, due to all the bad reviews, but considering all the other plates/bowls with suction cups that I've tried have failed, I figured I'd give it a shot! First off, as some of the other recent reviews have mentioned, the white suction bottom no longer comes separate from the plate. This could be a good thing or a bad thing depending on how you look at it. Because it no longer comes apart, the suction cup works great....the downside, if you like to nuke your kiddo's food for 30 seconds in the microwave, you can't, or the suction cup's rubber would likely melt. This in no way was a deal breaker for me, because I'm used to most of my children's plates and bowls not being microwave friendly. The green ring seems fairly easy to get on and off, so no issues there. The one tip I'd offer is to make sure you wet the suction cup before pressing it to the highchair or table. Overall, I've tried all the other brands ("sassy", "munkin", etc.) and I have to say, as a mother of twin boys, who love to throw their plate, this is a winner!

Want Gerber Graduates Single Pack Lil' Trainer BPA Free Tableware Set, 3 Piece Set, Colors May Vary Discount?

This is an awful toddler plate. My recommendation to parents is to keep on looking. It doesn't have good suction and it literally impossible to put the pieces back together. Once I finally got all the pieces snap in together it would not stick on the high chair table.

Plum Organics Baby Broccoli Apple, 4.22-Ounce Pouches (Pack of 24)

Plum Organics Baby Broccoli Apple, 4.22-Ounce PouchesOne day at target my son was starving. He is 9 months old and is starting to have an opinion about everything. He did not want the bottle I had and I could tell he was going to start screaming. I grabbed one of these wonderful things off the shelf and squirted it in his mouth. He loved it. In about 3 minutes he sucked down the whole thing and was happily shopping once again. I have tried almost all of the flavors and this is one of the best. Awesome product.

My son really likes this flavor. I was skeptical at first but he can't get enough of it. I buy it in bulk, that's how much he likes it.

Enfamil Nutramigen Lipil with Enflora LGG Powder - 12.6 oz.

Enfamil Nutramigen Lipil with Enflora LGG Powder - 12.6 oz.This was prescribed to my daugther when she was three months old and it was a miracle! She became a whole new baby. No more eczema, throwing up, belly aches, etc. We tried many formulas before this one to avoid pay as much, but it is well worth the price for her to be healthy and happy. Luckily for us, insurance covered it. I would HIGHLY recommend this to anyone who is having problems with other formulas or with acid reflux/throwing up/etc.

We found out that my daughter had a suspected cow's milk allergy shortly after her 1st birthday. I had never used formula and tried to supplement my diminishing milk supply with cow's milk since she was now 1 and found out she was allergic with a 2AM ER trip. The pediatrician prescribed Neocate jr, but that was such a pain since it isn't sold in stores. I bought one of these when the Neocate jr hadn't arrived on time and she loved it and began sleeping better right away, so I then bought it by the case. I think her allergy was much less severe than we had suspected. She is now 2 and does great with Lactose free cow's milk.

Boon Squirt Baby Food Dispensing Spoon

Boon Squirt Baby Food Dispensing Spoon, TangerineThis is a fabulous spoon! Basically you stick the baby food in the spoon put the top on and go. So whether you're at the park the mall or a restaurant you just whip it out and you're ready to feed your little one!

For those that make your own food its super easy just take it from what you have made and toss it in there. But if you are using store bought stuff you have to scoop it into the container (which can be a little bit of an extra step but really well worth it). I found that stage one and two foods come out of this quite easily. While it says it only holds 3 oz of food I've gotten 4oz jars of baby food into it.

The hole is small so stage three foods are a little tougher but they still come out. Homemade stuff comes out if you puree it enough (not big chunks) and homemade yogurt (or the store bought stuff too!) comes out fantastic.

Its so easy to keep your little one clean while out and about. Keeping the spoon itself clean is easy because the spoon head has a cap. And clean up after is fantastic just rinse it with hot water and all the food comes out!! I've never had to dig into it like I thought I would...

I can't say enough great things about this. Its made life easier when we're out and about and its so darn adorable. It comes in pink & orange. Its easy to prepare use and clean...you cannot go wrong with this purchase!

The concept of this product is great, and if it were the only one of its kind, I'd recommend it without reservation. However, there's a similar, competing product (also sold by Amazon) that I prefer over this one. It's clear, so you can see how much food remains in the handle and/or whether you need to tap it to bring down any food stuck to the walls of the container. In addition, it has volume markings, which are especially useful for mixing cereal or monitoring portions. Also, the Boon Squirt is not as easy to squeeze as the competing model. Both models have the same drawbacks, which are that the spoons are (1) hard, and (2) a little large for the mouths of the younger babies for which they're made (older babies eat thicker/more textured food, which would not be compatible with these products).

To be sure, the Boon Squirt is a good product. It's great for feedings on the go, and is an excellent way to minimize messes. However, unless fun, bright colors are of paramount importance to you, there's another option that's got a little more functionality.

Buy Boon Squirt Baby Food Dispensing Spoon Now

Hate this spoon. It seemed to be more work than necessary when feeding your child. It is a wonderful idea, just not practical. It would squirt sweet potato all over the table, since small air pockets in the food would be squeezed out as well. I also felt like I was wasting food there's no way to squeeze out what was attached to the walls of the spoon.

The Munchkin spoons are wonderful and do the job! Get those instead.

Very happy with this spoon. It is great to use at home or on the go. We used it for two months only.

Pros:

1Easy to use

2Works great (One hand feeding no need for a cup and spoon)

3Feedings are now easier, faster and cleaner (for a 6month old)

4Easy to clean (No scrubbing needed and there are no hard to get to spots or food traps)

5Does not stain: We used home made foods such as carrots puree etc and it did not stain the container/handle for a while. After prolonged use, the clear part of the container stained just a bit.

Cons:

1Will only work with thin food/puree (so you will only use it for a span of 2-3months in your baby's life maybe more)

2Does not have a full cap to cover all the spoon the underside stays exposed.

3May have to refill food container if baby is hungry

4Spoon may be too big for smaller babies

5Container is not graduated for people who want to mix the food in the spoon container

6Cannot teach your baby how to eat using this spoon.

I loved this spoon but wish it held more food. I was thinking of buying another as a gift but found them virtually unavailable, unless willing to pay outlandish price. I emailed Boon to ask about its availability. Their reply included this:

"We are making changes to Squirt to improve its overall function. During the transition to the improved spoon inventories are low unfortunately. Please look for the new Squirt spoon to be available in Mid 2013."

Especially for Baby 4-Pack BPA Free Snack Cup with Lids

Especially for Baby 4-Pack BPA Free Snack Cup with LidsI love these containers. I was searching for something BPA-free for my elementary and middle school kids lunches, and these are perfect. I use them mostly for goldfish, pretzels and nuts/trailmixes. The colors are fun, but not distinctly "baby"ish. I have washed them just a couple times each so far, and they have held up fine.

For the price I was expecting a better quality. The lids are very thin and flimsy. I can't imagine bringing these for outings as the lids would fall off quite easily and make a mess in the diaper or lunch bag. The bowls are cute though which I would use them in the house instead.

ZoLi BOT Straw Sippy Cup (Various Colors) with Sample of Tooth Tissues

ZoLi BOT Straw Sippy Cup with Sample of Tooth TissuesI am a believer that if a child can take a sippy cup they are done with bottles. My two older children were able to take a cup at 5-6 months. Now with the third child I expected the same thing. She was a bit more stubborn! I have bought every cup imaginable. Ranging in price up to $15.00 in search of a cup she would take. After reading A TON of reviews on every single cup I bought this one. She took it immediately. She has been taking only this cup for 3 days and I have sacked up the bottles...we are done :) I just ordered 2 more. Hopefully after some time she will take other sippy cups as well so I will get my monies worth out of all of the cups.

My List Of Loves:

I love that it is easy to clean. I simply rinse it out and squeeze the end of the straw while water flows over the weighted part to clean out the straw.

It has a flip lid to keep it clean.

Handles on the side that do not move when she is holding it.

Fits in cup holders.

Does a good job of not pouring liquid out when she throws it on the ground.

Has ounces on it.

The flow is the perfect flow for her...not too fast like other straw cups we tried.

The weighted straw is the best part. It works great!

This is a great cup. I bought two and don't regret it. The little straw which tilts towards the liquid is, is such a great idea, and my daughter loves the handles and way it looks. She always gravitates to this cup. It's her favorite but my 2nd favorite cup.

Unfortunately there are just a couple of flaws which knock it out of the best cup category (What's the best cup out there imho? The Thermos Foogoo).

-First and most of all, the straw is narrow. So if you have a cold drink, the drink will go up the straw as it warms (like mercury in a thermometer) and leak out of the straw. I have to clean up after it all the time.

-The other flaws aren't as big of a deal: my daughter is a mouther so she chewed a piece of the straw of in the first 10 min of her use, and occasionally you won't screw the top on right but it's hard to tell until the drink spills out.

I like using this cup when I know my daughter will drink everything up quickly or if I intend to dump the drink immediately after use. It's not good for sipping and sitting around.

Buy ZoLi BOT Straw Sippy Cup (Various Colors) with Sample of Tooth Tissues Now

This has probably been the all around best cup for my son from age 9 or 10 months to now (almost 2). If you only get one cup, this is a great choice. I recommend buying replacement straws as well. Why is this the best cup? (1) No leaks, ever. (2) The weighted, soft plastic straw allows the child to drink up all the liquid in the cup down to the very last bit. With firmer straws, a little will also go to waste. The handles are slender but easy to hold. The lid is just easy enough for the child to flip themselves as they grow older.

Read Best Reviews of ZoLi BOT Straw Sippy Cup (Various Colors) with Sample of Tooth Tissues Here

The idea of this cup is amazing...the downside is it leaks everywhere. My ten month old is just starting to learn how to drink from a straw so I thought that this would be the perfect transition. For $12, I'd expect much, much more!

Want ZoLi BOT Straw Sippy Cup (Various Colors) with Sample of Tooth Tissues Discount?

Plus side:

The straw follows the liquid good for when my daughter tips back the cup or when the liquid is low

Easy to hold and my daughter loves to play with the cap

Negative side:

It LEAKS!! It seems like the milk/water gets stuck in the straw and then pressure or temperature change forces the liquid to spew out when you open the cap. I just cleaned up a puddle of milk this evening

It is hard to clean the inside of the straw and I worry that old milk or old juice will rot in there
