These are nice and what I was looking for this Easter with a little princess in the house. However, the giraffe's toy place has these for under two bucks and I wish I had known that. I was hasty and got gouged. Otherwise it's a fine product.

has caps (important for travel or any other situation where you can't clean it right away but don't want to create mess)
possible to buy replacement mesh
easy to hold for a baby
The possible improvements:
would be nice to add a hole in the handle so I can tie it up with something as baby throws it on the floor
I think the mesh is little bit too big at least for my 7 m.o. 2/3 of its current size would be perfect.
Hint: bananas can be tricky if you wait some time to clean, so wash it right away. Then it's really easy and mesh stays clean.
We've used them for
-frozen fruit
-steamed veggies
-chicken
-frozen yogurt.
They work just as described allowing your child to practice chewing with no fear of biting of a chunk sizable enough to choke on. The only thing I was is that the nets were easier to clean.
For maximum cleanliness, soak nets in HOT soapy water IMMEDIATELY after use... use a spoon to keep them submerged.

I bought this product for the fiber in prune juice to aid in my son's constipation. Compared to regular prune juice which has about 1.5 g fiber in 4 oz this juice has 0 g fiber in the same volume. The ingredients just list apple and prune juice but don't list how much of each. Clearly it's more apple than prune. If your kid likes to drink apple and prune juice then this product is fine but if you're looking for something to help with constipation you should look elsewhere. What a waste.

My son can be constipated very easily. We tried everything. Lots of fiber and lots of water by themselves don't to the job for him. With prune juice is bingo! A must to have for us. Gerber Graduates Yogurt Melts Mixed Berries - 1.0 oz. (8 Pack)
I just purchased a pack of these on sale for 2.11 at Target. My 6 month old daughter seemed to really like them and she was able to easily navigate them without choking. They melt pretty quick. I tasted one and thought it tasted pretty good. The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is that they are tad to0 big in my opinion for a baby. I would rather see smaller pieces..... but we will buying again.

Boon Groovy Interlocking Plate and Bowl Set
I was so excited to get this when I saw it online; it seemed theoretically perfect plate and bowl for different foods with little side dished for whatever. It is very small and quite shallow and the small side bowls are very very small and it seemed a bit cheap looking to me. Cute concept but I'm a bit disappointed with the small size and cheap plastic.

The concept is great and has that great boon styling. Unfortunately the the plate can easily be swiped/upturned/thrown/etc by the child since it does not have anything to hold it place. The side orange "bowls" really are small and we ended up using it as a sauce bowl than anything else. They're also very easily to misplace since they are so small.We bought this back when our son was 7 months old we're finally using it more frequently now that he has better control over his arms (20 months old). But then again, now he can just about use any regular plate...

I purchased this bowl for my one year old for the dipping bowls. He loves to dip his veggies, french toast strips, apples, you name it. We also liked how we could give little treats in the bowls and they provided for the right size for a little reward. We purchased another bowl when our 2nd guy came along, he's 14 months now and he loves the dippers too. The rubberized bottom helps the plate stay in place although they can certainly flip it over if they want to. But it helps them to feed themselves. I noticed too that we were having struggles at the table with finishing meals and these little plates offer us a way to gauge decent portion sizes so it's possible for the kids to be successful in "cleaning their plates" and we feel that they got enough in their tummies.
