Sassy First Solid Feeding Bowl with Spoon, Colors May Vary

Sassy First Solid Feeding Bowl with Spoon, Colors May VaryI ordered this bowl and spoon set at the recommendation of a friend that the spoon was great. I could have just ordered the spoons from another website, but I needed a travel bowl like this with separator anyway. I wish I had ordered this sooner!!! The spoon is fantastic!!! It is easier for me to feed my son and easier for him to eat his purees. He is currently 8 months old and this would have been great from 6 months when we started on solids. I highly recommend this product. The bowl is convenient and the spoon has been a lifesaver. The only wish Amazon or the seller would let you choose a color. The image shows a blue bowl and I received a pink one with green top, orange spoon. I have a boy and it would be nice to have a choice between a traditional boy color or girl color.

These work great for preparing the baby food for my 7 month old and throwing in the diaper bag and the food stays separated. Lid stays on tight and my little guy seems to really like the "rubber" feeling of the spoon.

This is a great set. It has two compartments and the spoon is great for baby's gums, however, it is very soft and flexible and can bend easily and spray food every where.

This is the perfect size for my baby, who started to eat cereal. When she progresses to eating fruit/vegetable, the compartments would be used. What really makes this a great bowl is the ergonomic design, where my left thumb easily slides into the handle, and the bowl rests on my palm stably and comfortably.

We bought one of these for our then 6 month old son. We rec'd a blue one with an orange spoon. We loved it immediately!

Pros:

1) Deep sections (2 sections) with rounded bottoms to easily scoop food out

2) The thumb holder is fantastic! I have dropped a few bowls in my time as a Mommy and this one is near impossible to drop thanks to the little loop you place over your thumb.

3) The spoon is flexible silicone and is very tooth-friendly for babies

Cons:

1) The lid doesn't fit on snuggly. Tends to need a lot of pushing to get it to lightly snap on but will come off rather easily (both bowls we own)

2) The color variable is listed as orange, blue, or clear beware there is also a bright pink (which we rec'd the second order of one of these) just a warning for boy/girls coloring (if that even matters to you)

3) The spoon can warp in the dishwasher. Make sure to wash by hand or use a basket in the top rack do not place in the bottom silverware section of your dishwasher or over time it will warp into a super bent position that is impossible to even boil back into shape.

The cons are really small.. honestly. This bowl is fantastic overall just a few minor things to notify you about if it even matters to you. :) Happy feeding!!

Nestle Klim Instant Dry Whole Milk- 3.52 lbs each (3.52 lbs)- 6 Cans

Nestle Klim Instant Dry Whole Milk- 3.52 lbs each- 6 CansI'm sure this is just as good as Nido whole milk powder that I buy all the time: Nido Leche Entera en Polvo (Instant Milk), 3.52-Pound Container Please save yourself some (a lot of) money and buy the Nido brand made by Nestle at a fraction of the price of this.

ETA: I haven't tried KLIM so I can't comment on the taste but was notified it is for 6 cans and not 1 like I had thought, it didn't show the 6 cans before. I'm glad Amazon fixed the issue.

Skip Hop Splash

Skip Hop Splash - WhiteI bought one the Marine rack for myself and the white for my sister. We both had the same problem. Water pools in the bottom layer and molds. Yes, I empty out the water that accumulates throughout the day, but some water stays there. We both have "retired" this bottle rack to our cabinets.

The design is beautiful and perfect for a modern kitchen. I now have The First Years drying rack and while it clashes with overall "tone" of the house, it is more practical. Luckily, I breastfeed so I do not have to use the rack too often except to dry the pump parts.

I think this product fills a void in the market (come on designers... give us some non-baby looking modern products), however mold/mildew is not worth it to me.

I have been using this bottle drying unit for several months for my twins and I really like the way the racks turn separately so I can get at every angle. The bottles, nipples and rings fit onto the various prongs well. It drains well and cleans up well...no standing water like some next-to-the-sink drying racks. It is one of my favorite baby products and recommend it to my soon-to-be mommy friends. I do not use the brush as I have found others that fit the bottles better so I can't speak to the durablilty of it.

it is very sturdy but the brush broke after only 3 weeks. i have searched the web and can't find anywhere to buy a replacement brush for this item so the whole thing doesn't look quite as good with a brush that doesn't match.

Water does pool, as other reviewers note, but my bigger problem is how quickly the plastic degrades. I've used this for about a year, and every few times when I clean it another piece of the center structure (where the sections screw together) cracks and breaks off. I don't think I'm particularly hard on this, and like very much the way it looks. But now the bottom plate has cracked in the middle. I sure hoped I'd be able to get through sippy cups and into commuter mugs, but I guess not!

Want Skip Hop Splash Discount?

NOT WORTH THE MONEY, AND I ONLY GIVE IT TWO STARS, BUT SINCE I EDITED MY REVIEW, IT WON'T LET ME CHANGE THE NUMBER OF STARS I GAVE IT (I first reviewed it when I was using smaller glass bottles with not as many parts). Yes, it's better for glass bottles than the collapsible ones, but it's NOT at all good for BORN FREE (or any other wide neck bottles) bottles because you can only fit them on every other upright (they're too wide to go right next to each other), and there's no room for all of the other venting pieces that come with Born Free bottles. The two bottom pieces are too small to hold much, and things fall off of them!

Earth's Best Organic 2nd Apples & Bananas, 4 Ounce Jars (Pack of 12)

Earth's Best 2nd Apples & Bananas, 4 OunceMy 8 month old loves this combination! It is the only one that she will eat the full bottle in one sitting.

My son really enjoyed the Earth's Best line of baby food. This flavor is nice and thick so it is easier to feed your baby. Anything with apples tends to be thick. The blueberry flavor is runny and messy!

Ella'S Kitchen Ooh My Goodness Oat Crumble, 3-Ounce (Pack of 7)

Ella'S Kitchen Ooh My Goodness Oat Crumble, 3-OunceI purchased a bunch of these all different kinds (my niece has a baby 5 months old) she said little Audrey loves them. She can't stop eating them, her big blue eyes light up, and she wants more and more. I also purchased their smoothie's and she had the same reaction. Audrey is very picky about what she eats, so Ella's Kitchen is a big winner. This is definitely a product you should try, I recommend it highly.

My husband and I are big fans of all the Ella's Kitchen products. They have some of the most unique flavors and I love seeking my son's reaction to different foods. This is by far one of his favorites. He gets very excited about the Oat Crumble. No stores in my area carry this one, which is disappointing but I am very glad Amazon carries it.

Earth's Best Organic Teething Biscuits, 4.6 Ounce Boxes (Pack of 12)

Earth's Best Organic Teething Biscuits, Barley, 4.6-Ounce BoxesWe're pretty avid Whole Foods shoppers now, and have felt pretty good about purchasing organic baby food for our now 9.5 month old son. Earth's Best brand has been popular with him, so we bought these teething biscuits recently. Today, he could have died eating one.

Although I'm an anesthesiologist, and half of my job is to "protect people's airways", one needn't be a medical professional to realize why these biscuits are dangerous. Most babies get their front teeth (upper and lower incisors) first, long before molars arrive. So, they're limited to biting with their front teeth, and only mashing with their gums (where their molars will someday erupt). These biscuits are great for the first 5 minutes, baby happily chomping away on the hard surface. Then, they soften. Pretty soon, baby bites clean through the biscuit with their front teeth (size of chunk depending on how far they had inserted it into their mouth at the time), and the chunk that remains in their mouth is WAY too hard to mash with gums. Baby has nothing to do but try to spit it out (difficult at this age), or swallow it whole (if lucky enough for it to be a small piece), or have it completely occlude their airway. We were able to quickly fish one large chunk out with our fingers, but our poor soon started gagging, tearing, and wretched once before something resolved (still don't know if he swallowed a large piece or if it ended up on ground), but not before we scooped him up and tried to knock it loose with some back blows.

In any case, although the kids may love these, all it would take would be one infant death from choking to prompt a recall or something. Why risk your own kid?

I gave my son one of these and it broke into small pieces in his mouth, within about 1 min. and he began choking. I had to assist him in order to remove it and it was very frightening for all involved. These are just way to easy for babies to break down.

be very careful with this product. I gave it to my 11.5 month old and she choked instantly! 3 pieces broke off in her mouth right away and I had to sweep them out of her mouth. Unfortunately, she still choked and threw up. :(

I was going to write about how much my son LOVES Earth's Best Teething Biscuits, but I thought he could just show you how much he LOVES them in this video. The biscuits do get soft after some time, but we just break of the soft piece and give him back the rest of the biscuit. I would advise not to give these biscuits to a child until they've learned to chew puffs with their gums, so even if they were able to break of a piece themselves, they know to chew on it before swallowing. My son is 7 months old in this video by the way.

I love how they come in individual packages. They taste good. I know because I tried one. They're about as sweet as a graham cracker but as hard as a ginger snap. Like everyone else said, they do get goopy, but babies are messy and the sooner you come to terms with that, the better you'll be as a mom! Most importantly, they're not made of horrifying bleached flour or high-fructose corn syrup (still don't know what that is...). These are the best, so stop wasting your time looking!

U-Fill Snack Pack 10 Count Reusable Refillable Baby Food Squeeze Pouch

U-Fill Snack Pack 10 Count Reusable Refillable Baby Food Squeeze PouchI was very nervous about these. I was afraid the plastic would be inferior, and that the ziploc on the bottom wouldn't hold up against a toddler.

I WAS WRONG!

This is a great product! My husband tried to squeeze it (while full and capped) to see if he could get it to bust open, but the ziploc held firm. Granted, he probably wasn't using his full strength, but certainly more than could be expected from a toddler or sane adult. The plastic is heavier than I expected as well, and the cap screws on quite tight.

I have experienced some leaking when stored in the fridge for more than a day, but found this to be easily fixed by storing them cap-down. They don't stand upright on their own anyway, so I used a plastic container to keep them together.

I can honestly I was skeptical about refillable pouches. My son is rough and I just imagine food flying everywhere. These snack pouches are FANTASTIC! I mean, I can't say enough about their durability and the seal is superb. I have gotten stuff stuck in the zipper part but still nothing ever leaked out and we use the same pouch every single day in the evening.

They have fantastic customer service too! I highly recommend!

I am a frugal mom of 3 and my children LOVE squeezies (as I call them!), but they are so pricey! So, you can imagine how excited I was when I heard about these--oh how much money I'd save! I went straight out and bought tons of baby food to make all sorts of flavor combos and felt like I was the smartest mom out there. Ugh, then I started using them and they weren't nearly as wonderful as I'd hoped they'd be. Firstly, they leak! They have a ziplock bottom and no matter how securely I'd seal them, the somehow still leaked a little bit. I would make a bunch and store them in a tupperware in my fridge and the next day there'd be a little puddle of baby food in the bottom of the tupperware yet none of the ziplock seals were open--I couldn't figure it out! I ended up storing them upside down in the tupperware (cap side down) which helped, but it limited their use since I felt I couldn't take them with me out and about for fear of spillage and leaks all over my diaper bag! So, they were already limited to home use. Secondly, my nine year old loves those applesauce squeezies on the go from Costco and Target, so I thought I'd make my own with these, but again, couldn't now pack them in his lunch box for fear they'd leak. So then when he would eat them at home, he's a bit strong when he squeezed them (to get all the applesauce out!), that the ziplock would suddenly pop open, squirting applesauce everywhere (all over his homework the other day)! Finally, the opening to put the baby food in thru the ziplock opening isn't super wide, so I'd always get a little bit of baby food or applesauce on the edge and after a while of making these, it got to be a big pain to wipe up the edges of 10 of these. Maybe not a big deal to some people, but combined with the other annoyances with this product, enough to tick me off! So, I'm back to Target to buy ready made squeezies yet again. Oh well, it was worth a try, but don't waste your money on this product--NOT WORTH THE TIME, EFFORT OR MONEY!!!!

I really enjoy these. I give 3 stars because they leak so bad if upright. I have to store them upside down in the fridge otherwise I'll have ..whatever is inside of the pouch... juice all over the place. If it's just a fill and eat it's fine but what's the point of that? My boys can make messes while home but I'd prefer them to be clean in public. You need to ziplock these and store them in the diaper bag upside down or else.

Jolly Jumper Kiddy Kaddy Stroller Snack Tray

Jolly Jumper Kiddy Kaddy Stroller Snack TrayI bought this to put on my double stroller. It fit great until you actually had to put the kids' sippy cups into it. As soon as you do, the entire thing flips forward and is useless. It causes the sippy cups to leak and if you don't have a snack trap, all the snacks fall into their laps. My girls are barely 2, so their legs are not long enough to actually hold the base of it steady (not that they should have to!). I don't know what this company was thinking...they must not have actually ever tested out their own product. Save your money.

I wouldn't recommend using this product w/ the Phil & Teds Sport Stroller the tray itself is constructed well but when used w/ the round bar on the Phil & Teds Sport model it spins over tipping everything out. There is no way to keep the tray upright especially when filled up w/ sippy cup & snack trap (as shown). If your stroller has some way to balance out the weight I bet it would work better. Hope this helps...

I love this snack caddy! I was looking for one since my Bugaboo doesn't have one (nor do they make one!) and this one is perfect! I can attach it either way, so it can be close to my son, or just within his reach. It may rest on his legs when his water bottle is in it, but it is not a problem. I squeezed a little bowl into the snack compartment so I don't have to wash it quite so often. I love the loops for toys too!

It fits on the stroller bar great but when something heavy, like a water bottle, is in it, it tips forward. The kids legs have to hold it in place.

I got this since I wanted something that the baby could use to hold for the food and bottles.

I have a bugaboo and they don't make something for it.

Anyways I looked ALL over the Internet and this is the best that I could find with okay reviews and what I needed. I expected way better. My wife doesn't like the way it looks so we don't even use it.

Pros:

Price

holds food

Cons:

ugly

moves around to much

hard for our 1 year old to see and get food out sometimes

All in all:

I don't think there is a better product for the bugaboo but I don't use it anymore

Miracles & Milestones: Table Top Playmat

Miracles & Milestones: Table Top PlaymatI bought this Table Top Playmat for my grandson who is almost ten months old. He loves this as his favorite restaurant entertainment. There is plenty for him to do on each side of the playmat. We put cereal in the top right cup for him and he stays entertained playing with the various gadgets for long periods of time. My only concern is that it doesn't stay stuck so well on tables with any rough surface and he has learned he can pull on the top portion of the plastic insert in the middle because it does not lay flat enough. But, great investment and a really fun playmat!

I bought this toy with the hope it might keep my daughter busy for part of a meal when we go out to eat. Oh my gosh! This toy keeps her busy the entire time! She has had to share the toy with my friend's baby for 4 months now b/c we couldn't find another one anywhere. Each baby would have a side and they would go crazy. We finally found another one for my friend. This toy is hardly available and it is easily in my top 5 must haves! My other friend's would agree. You MUST get this.

graze organic Deluxe 5 Pack Organic Reusable Snack Bags, Sandwich, Vegetable and Fruit Snack

graze organic Deluxe 5 Pack Organic Reusable Snack Bags, Sandwich, Vegetable and Fruit SnackI really wish I never bought these. I was trying to avoid using plastic baggies for all the obvious reasons and so I came across these and thought they would be a good alternative. First off, the price is ridiculous. Second, you cannot store anything remotely most in them! Forget packing chopped fruit or even a PBJ, everything leaked or stained the insides and it was just gross. The chopped pear leaked everywhere into my diaper bag. It needs some sort of liner, or you have to just reserve for completely dry snacks like crackers.

These are great because they are reusable, easy to clean for next use and my children LOVE that they know what is in each bag. I love that there is no plastic, and the ink is safe. A must have if you are looking for an alternative to bags made of plastic. I am buying more because we love them so much!

Buy graze organic Deluxe 5 Pack Organic Reusable Snack Bags, Sandwich, Vegetable and Fruit Snack Now

I purchased these for my son's lunch to get away from using the disposable wrappings. As another reviewer wrote, you can't use them for much. Sandwiches get soggy, dry goods get stale and fruits leak or get that rubbery feel to them. All in all, this is a very disappointing product. We've managed to figure out how to use them if we pack lunches and use them right away. Packing items the night before however, left cheese slightly dried out and anything crispy lost its crisp.

These are super cute and I think I understand that they were trying to avoid plastics so there is no liner. I loved the idea. But it didn't fly and cost way too much. Check out etsy or even local organic markets. They are often half the price or less... you may have to sacrifice the organic element of the materials, so it is really what is important to you.

Happy Baby Organic Strawberry Puffs (3x2.1oz)

Happy Baby Organic Strawberry PuffsMy children (ages 2 and 6) both love Strawberry PUFFS! They are a great snack for on the go. My little ones are older than the "average Puff eater" :) and yet they ask for these all the time. The strawberry flavor is light, not too sweet. And the Puffs seem to melt in your mouth-much softer than O cereals. I especially like that these Puffs have considerably less sugar than the other brands, the ingredients are natural and organic. I was also happy that the packaging is recycled and the lid is easy to open for pouring or for reaching in to grab Puffs. Overall love these Puffs and they are a MUST HAVE in our home! :)

Innobaby Five Tier Packin' Smart Storage System

Innobaby Five Tier Packin' Smart Storage System, Blue HeavenI bought 2 models. This one is a pain in the neck.Using it,opening the compartment to fill etc.Buy Innobaby Four Tier Travels Stack N Seal Food Storage System instead of this one.I know this one looks much more cute, which made me order it at the first place. However I am very happy that I ordered the Four Tier Travels Stack N Seal as well, which is much more convenient, spacier etc.

I bought this product because i wanted a cute way to store dried formula in my diaper bag. Well it sure is cute but thats about it. My big gripe with it is 1, the price (20 dollars for a formula holderwell as a new mom i looked past that because it was so darn cute but come on now!) and 2, the time it takes to clean it. It is not dishwasher safe (the box basically says its risky to wash it in the dishwasherand after paying the hefty price tag i wasnt going to risk that). This container squeezes to open on groved sides making its easy for nasty things to find its way into that groved part and its impossible to cleanluckily thats the outside of the container. The inside has 5 tiers, 4 tier tops, a bottom and a top that all remove and have to be hand washed and dried to avoid water spots. Plus, I always get a little freaked with hand washing newborn food containersi just feel they should be sanitized in the dishwasher. Also, this product is a lot bigger than i thought it would be which wasnt a big deal for me just a surprise. I bought 2 of these and it literally took me 30 min to hand wash and dry them. Im not even exaggerating and i promise im not an overly OCD like mom either. I am not sure how durable they are because i havent diaper bag tested them yet but the container says not to put liquid in them as they will leak! i hope the dried formula doesnt also find its way out. they look pretty strong but i would be heart broken after all of that washing and the price tag if the plastic easily cracked. We shall see.

Bottom-line, they are extremely cute.. so if you are willing to spend a lot of time washing and drying this product in the name of cuteness go for it!

After spending a significant amount of time "playing" with both this storage system and the Innobaby Four Tier Stack N Seal Pattern Storage System, Fruit at a local store, I purchased the later. First of all, both containers are very cute, but the Innobaby Four Tier can hold both WET and DRY foods. It has a very secure, screw-on top (this Innobaby Five Tier does not screw on, it has a press and pull system and a lot of air can get in thereby decreasing the "freshness" factor). This means that even if you were to purchase the container for dry foods only, your foods will stay fresher for a longer time with the screw top model. The screw top Four Tier model is very sturdy and can withstand a lot (I throw my diaper bag everywhere) without spilling. Both systems are adorable but the store model for the Five Tier had food in the crevices where you push and pull the compartments apart (gross and difficult to clean I'd imagine). The Four Tier is also cute, cheaper (though you get four instead of five compartments) and your food stays fresher longer. Buy the Innobaby Four Tier Stack N Seal Pattern Storage System, Fruit instead.

This formula/snack storage system is pretty neat because it allows me to take as little or as much snacks and such with me on the go. The parts snap together and come apart pretty easily, and I like that there is a separate division for the parts that is also removable. I can just give one of the parts to my toddler without removing the divider hole, and it makes less mess in the car. For travel, I would probably bring more of the snacks in the diaper bag and refill when needed as my toddler can basically finish up a whole bag of her favorite snacks (like yogurt melts) in one sitting if we let her. Would be nice if there was some way to contain the liquids with this type of container but i know they have a different product for that as well that I will be trying out.

Want Innobaby Five Tier Packin' Smart Storage System Discount?

I bought this one as well as the stackable 3 tier. I have the same problem with both of them, they break open if they're dropped. I've dropped both of them twice so far and they have split open in the middle and spilling out all the contents. My daughter who is 17 months likes to carry around her snacks and she's dropped the container once and the same thing happened. This was a little surprising to me as she was pretty close to the ground and the container didn't have very far to drop. I would recommend the Zo-Li snack container as those have to be screwed on and are much more durable. I have both the 5 tier and 3 tier snack containers and love them. I wanted to try out the Innobaby because the design was sooooo cute, but it doesn't work for me. Also, you can't really store that much in each section. I think it's intended for light snackers or kiddies that are under 18 months.

Dabbawalla Bags Flower Power II Lunch Bag, Purple/Blue

Dabbawalla Bags Flower Power II Lunch Bag, Purple/BlueAfter several months, my daughter still loves carrying this lunch bag. It's really durable and well made. It has been machine washed many times and looks practically new.

It's super easy to keep this bag really clean. Food wipes off it easily and--I can't say this enough times--it's machine washable! It air-dries well. Food bits and moisture don't get caught between layers like with bags that are plastic-lined foam.

It's the perfect size and shape for carrying lunches. There is room for quite a bit more after putting in a 3.5" W x 3.5" D x 4.5" H thermos and two fruit/veggie containers. The shape of the bag helps things stay in place well in it. There is a mesh pocket on the inside.

For the scent-sensitive, at first the material had a very, very faint smell--sort of plastic-related. I noticed it; no one else in the family did. The smell was gone after about a couple months.

I like the product's safety certification and the manufacturer's fair labor practice focus.

This is our second one of these bags. I love them because they wash well in the laundry, so easy to clean. I also use reusable containers to pack the kids lunch and all of them fit in here nicely. It is always in the stand up position so things do not get tipped over ( other lunch boxes can lay flat or stand on their side, so liquids can get split easier).

The First Year's Newborn-To-Toddler Reclining Feeding Seat

The First Years Newborn to Toddler Reclining Feeding SeatWhen my oldest son was a baby, we bought this as a less-expensive, portable alternative to a high chair. He recently turned four, and has long since graduated to sitting at the table in a "real" chair, and his little brother, who just turned two, is now using it. It's been through a lot, and is still sturdy and strong.

We have family in other states, and we take this seat with us when we visit. It is a big plus for us that it is relatively small and portable.

It's also very easy to keep clean. All pads and straps are removable and can be washed with the laundry, and the tray and the bottom part of the seat can go in the dishwasher. The back and sides of the seat have been through the dishwasher once or twice as well, but it was necessary to remove the top rack to fit them in.

The tray still snaps tight enough so that when my son hooks his toes under the edge and kicks, it still doesn't pop off.

All in all, I am extremely happy with this chair and am planning on buying another, since our 6-month-old baby will be ready for his own seat too, before the middle child is quite ready for a regular seat at the table.

We bought this because we were so nervious about our 11 month old boy bouncing/jumping so hard on his hook on chair! We have a Peg Perego high chair at Grandma's but personally, I think they are overpriced! I bought mine for $40 in Canada; Peg Perego's go for over $200 and the Fisher Price Space Saver is $70 locally.

The good: I'm very happy with the booster seat so far. The plastic piece between the legs and the smaller seat depth help to prevent slouching, which was a big problem in our other, very old model Peg Perego. Also, he can get fidgety getting in/out of seats so having the "crotch block" gives me some reassurance. While he can sit independently on the floor, he seems much more comfortable (ie. doesn't squirm) in the slight recline position. Being able to adjust the tray position close to the belly has reduced the amount of crumbs I normally find on his lap. I like the 3 point belt since he doesn't need the upper body restraint; it's so much easier to put it on since I don't have to fight flailing arms! I thought I would really miss the castor wheels of a high chair, but the felt pads on the chair is sliding easily enough on our tiled floors. And, even though I'm feeding him from a counter height stool, it's not a strain on my body. (It is harder to see if there's food left in his mouth though, if he's willing to open up.)

The bad: spot cleaning the fabric pad is not really adequate but at least it's easily removable to throw in the laundry. But to coordinate wash/drying time between meals isn't that convenient. Including 2 pads, or using stain resistant fabric or vinyl would be more practical. I don't think it's that portable and if it folded easily, I would be much more inclined to take it out. The recline buttons were very hard to hard but I figure once it's set, I'm unlikely to change it much. I was unable to insert the seat at the top position (no problem with the bottom) and not sure if mine happens to not line up properly. The plastic does seem a bit thin, but I suspect durability won't be an issue. The design is very basic, but so is the price! The tray mat is cheesy and I can't see myself using it. The tray seems a bit small which makes it easy to wash in the sink, but hope it's not going to be a problem when I'm feeding a toddler. Same goes with cup holder. A gimmick or useful feature? Don't know as first time mom. My son is a kicker and likes to brace his legs against the tray edge; I sure hope the tray doesn't warp and become loose in time but from another person's review, it seems to be okay.

I was intending to buy the Fisher Price Space Saver booster seat because of the reviews. When I saw how narrow the seat was, I reluctantly passed on it. Baby's 25 lbs at 11 months and I couldn't see how the chair would fit much longer! I also read the armrests on the FP were so high that they prevented the chair from going under the dining table! I'm glad this model doesn't have armrests..what for???

Whoever said this chair falls apart obviously didn't put it together the right way to begin with. We have had this for over 7 months and used it on a daily basis, and have NEVER had any problems with it. It is VERY convenient, and great for places that don't have room for a high chair. Converts to a toddler seat, and WOW what a great price! 5 stars all the way on this one! Great price, great convenience, and great quality. There are different seat patterns and are very gender neutral, which is GREAT! Would definately recommend!

This chair is great!! It saves so much room in my kitchen and my son can actually be at the table with us for meals. I love it!! It does feel kind of cheap, yes, but my son used this for over a year and it held up wonderfully. I would recommend this to everyone.

My mother-in-law has this chair at her house, which saves her from having a highchair for my son. He has used it since he was an infant, and he's now 3 1/2. He still loves it. The vinyl pad is easily cleaned, and the base is solid (no cracks for food to go into). The tilt feature means you can use it from an early age. Just a great value.

Sprout Organic Baby Food Roasted Bananas and Brown Rice Intermediate 2 -- 3.5 oz

Sprout Organic Baby Food Roasted Bananas and Brown Rice Intermediate 2 -- 3.5 ozMy general rule is that if I wouldn't eat it, neither should my baby. That means that we don't have a lot of store-bought baby foods around the house, and it definitely nixes those boxed rice cereals. But this stuff is delicious. My son can't get enough of the bananas and rice, and I've been known to lick the spoon when he's done.

I also really like that Sprout is all organic, with fairly simple ingredients: organic bananas, rice and cinnamon, water, citric acid, and ascorbic acid. I will say that I was expecting it to look more like the cup of rice in the picture, but instead it is a pure baby food puree. A yummy puree though, as purees go.

Gerber Graduates BPA Free Soft Bite Infant Spoon, Colors May Vary

Gerber Graduates BPA Free 6 Pack Soft Bite Infant Spoon, Colors May VaryI don't really understand the complaints about these spoons being too shallow. I have been using them with my baby since he was 6 months old. I like that they are shallow because it allows food to slide off quite easily into your baby's mouth. My little one got the hang of eating off a spoon very quickly, and I credit that in part to the design of this product. I don't notice any rubbery smell and we've been washing them just fine in the dishwasher. My only complaint is that the pack I got was very pastel (not like the one shown in the main product image)it contains a lot of pink/lavender spoons which is a little girly looking if you have a little boy. But they're spoonsso who really cares, I guess. :) Anyhow, these are great spoons. I will only buy a different set when I feel that my baby is ready for a more advanced spoon shape.

Dishwasher Safe, Baby likes them.... soft tip for babies teething. 4-8 months babies is probably the ideal time to use these. We've graduated from these into bigger spoons. 10 months old.

I used these spoons for my son's first "solid" foods. Because the first foods are more liquid than solid, these spoons were so shallow they hardly held anything on it before it hit the baby's mouth.

These won't last as long because they hold less food per spoonful than other deeper spoons.

The lip is SO soft and rounded that when you use the spoon to catch dribble on the baby's chin/face, it actually just smears it or pushes it around rather than scooping it back up.

(Buy the multicolored Munchkin spoons which are just as soft, will wipe food off the baby's face better, and hold more, thus lasting longer for when your child starts eating more volume and chunkier foods)

Besides the mislabeling on the website (which I reported), these are pretty great for first solid foods. They are soft silicone tips that are gentle on the gums and new teeth, and though they don't hold a lot, it makes it easier for the baby to learn how to deal with food. (A bigger spoon would likely get pushed out more immediately).

I chose these because of the silicone tip and shallowness of the bowl. Since using them, however, I am greatly displeased. When I tasted something from the spoon I noticed a distinct perfumey taste like soap. I don't use scented soap, so it wasn't actual soap. I also stopped washing them with soap, opting for very hot water to clean them, instead. They STILL have a TASTE. I am NOT happy with this product at all.
