Sesame Street Easy Grasp Fork and Spoon,Colors and Styles May Vary

Sesame Street Easy Grasp Fork and Spoon,Colors and Styles May Varymy daughter is 2 and in love with sesame street.... and of course elmo. so this was a perfect set of utensils for her. They are easy to hold and the fun characters make her want to use them as opposed to her fingers.

Abby is on both utencils and the artwork is somewhat faded. The size is perfect for my 18 month old and the fork has just enough sharpness.

The spoon is very shallow. You won't get much soup with it. But it works very well with or without the fork. The fork is not sharp and is very safe for a toddler. The image does wash off with time. Overall we are very happy with them and my daughter loves them!

My 2 year old son started using these maybe 6 months ago, and they are the perfect size for him. The artwork does fade if you put it in the dishwasher. We bought a second set, which hasn't faded, because we have mostly hand washed. Overall, very functional.

My 20 month old son loves this set and it works great. I received a set with Abby and a purple background...not exactly what I intended for my son, but, whatever. It is still a great product.

Zak Hydro Canteen Bottle - BPA FREE - 14 ounce

ZAK! Hello Kitty Water Bottle 14 oz.Great item of the children. Kids loved the fun charctors on the canteen. the item holds up to the kids dropping them !!!

At the start of the new school year I bought this water bottle for my three year old son. While I like the shape and it is easy for my son to hold and open, he often cant get the straw fully extended and therefore looses suction. If the straw is not 100% pulled back then you get that airy sucking sound and cant get a full drink of water.

Regular cups, my kids just don't seem to drink as much water out of them. Straws seem easier, and the characterized cup helps as well. I wash them every other day with dish soap and vinegar.

I bought 2 more because I had gotten some canteen bottles for my daughter and went to boil some uck out of one and it turned into a shrinky dink. The issue there is, IMO, mine and not theirs. Even though I only gave it 3 stars, I did buy it again. Just know that you have to clean it out and air it out after every use (even with just water) and if you find a source for more straws, let me know. I have rigged a bendy straw in my child's other bottle, but it's not ideal. These canteens are handy and fairly inexpensive and sturdy (except for the lost straw thing). We will be taking the new ones to the beach and pool and camping. They also work well for those bedtime "I want a drink" requests.

I bought two Zak Hydro Canteen Bottles for my twins to try to encourage them to drink more water. They loved them and used them every day, but I noticed that within 2 weeks of use, the inner straw on one cracked. These have never been in the dishwasher and were hand washed in warm soapy water only. I flipped the straw over and it can still be used, but if the other side cracks I will have to find a replacement straw or repurchase. One GOOD THING about these is bottles is, unlike a lot of other water bottles, they haven't leaked on us yet.

Enfamil Premium Infant Single-Serve Powder Packets, 9.92- Ounce Box

Enfamil Premium Infant Single-Serve Powder Packets, 9.92- Ounce BoxLike others have written I only use formula when my milk production is low or I am mixing it with cereal. I won't go through a whole regular can in a month (when the packages say to discard after opening). These are perfect! No waste! Easy for travel too!

These single-serve packets are great for travelling. We also keep a few in our diaper bag just in case we need to feed our little one away from home. It's a very convenient way to make formula away from home, and the cost is only slightly higher than the regular big containers of powder formula.

Whoever came up with this is a genius and a lifesaver. I too only use formula when I'm on the go or need to supplement if I don't have enough breast milk, so the can is a waste since I won't finish it in a month. The packets are so convenient. I carry a bottle or two of 4oz water and a couple of packets in my purse at all times for emergencies. Paid $10.69 for a box of 16 at Target.

Only 4 out of 5 stars because you can only make 4 oz or 8 oz. So if your baby is currently eating more than 4oz but less than 8oz you either hope he is satisfied with 4oz or make 8oz and waste some.

We bought this because our little one wasn't a regular formula drinker so it didn't make sense to open large tubs of it, only to throw it away. It's a great idea but obviously you are paying for the convenience. I've been thinking of buying a vacuum packer but wasn't sure it was going to work with powder and worth the time and effort. Also, this stuff is great for long road trips or travel.

I love that I don't have to tote a large can of formula around with me when out shopping, at church, at family functions, etc. I keep a bunch of these in the inside pocket of the diaper bag, grab one out when needed, rip the top off (which is very easy to open), dump formula in bottle that has already had 4 ounces of water put in it (I fill mine at home before leaving), shake, and feed. So easy it's ridiculous! Best on the go product ever!

Chewable Jewels Rectangle Necklace Blue

Chewable Jewels Rectangle Necklace BlueWe bought the green rectangular necklace for my 4 year old sensory seeking son. He was chewing on everything from toys, to clothes to blankets. We would often find small objects in his mouth and it was becoming a safety issue. We bought this necklace for him and he loves it. He is very responsible about keeping it with him and even asking for it when he wants to chew instead of putting toys in his mouth. My only word of caution is that the string part of the necklace is not meant to be chewed on. It will break easily, but that is due to Federal Guidelines to keep it from choking children.

My son chewed through the string multiple time and I contacted the company to buy a new string (or 2). They were very nice and mailed me a new necklace, and several replacement strings at no extra cost. I highly recommend this product and this company. I will be ordering more from them soon.

Update after 1 month:

I am sorry to say that this jewel did not last as I thought it would. My daughter was able to get a bite out of it within 2 weeks (fortunately she spit it out). She has also become quick to chew on the clasp of the break-away lanyard and it only takes a minute of biting to make the thing useless. I bought 2 other chewable jewels and the other two are holding up but only one clasp still works.

So we are back to using Ps and Qs for everyday use. We still use the jewels when going out and I am very happy to have them. I would be even more willing to accept that the jewels may eventually fail if Sensory Junction would redesign the clasp out of stronger materials. I try to catch my daughter before she bites the clasp, but I can't watch her every minute! I still think this item is well worth the money for sometimes use.

For Valentine's Day, I got my daughter this Dr. Bloom's blue rectangle chewable jewel and a Jellystone heart chewable necklace. My girl is 5 1/2 years old, autistic, and hyposensitive. She needs a LOT of oral stimulation and is constantly chewing or grinding her teeth. She has used Ps and Qs and grabbers on a break-away lanyard for a couple of years, but I wanted something more fashionable for her to wear everyday as she is getting to be a big girl:) So I chose this Dr. Bloom's chewable necklace and a Jellystone heart necklace.

My daughter and I love the Dr. Bloom's chewable jewel! It holds up very, very well to her constant, tough chewing. My daughter's teachers and therapists have noticed that she generally concentrates better now that she has this chewable jewel and that she uses it readily, whereas the Ps and Qs and the grabbers she's been using required a lot of prompting. I have been happy that she doesn't take the jewel off when she gets home from school (as she always did with the Ps and Qs and grabbers) but will wear and use it at home and out too. I also really like the break-away necklace that Sensory Junction uses with the Dr. Bloom's jewel they sell; it is soft and sturdy and can't be chewed through (or, at least, it would take a while for even for the toughest chewers so you would know before it's time to replace). Other reviewers concerned by how quickly the necklace was chewed through probably bought from another seller. Sensory Junction also sells this thicker, woven break away necklace separately.

The Jellystone heart chewable necklace, on the other hand, didn't hold up after one day at school. She has already chewed a little piece off the tip of the heart. And especially since the heart is small (when she first got it, she put the whole thing in her mouth), it wouldn't be wise for me to let her use it again. She couldn't swallow the whole heart--the heart is secured very well to the break-away necklace--but I worry if she chewed off a bit with the whole thing still in her mouth, she might not be able to keep herself from swallowing the bit.

Dr. Bloom's jewels are a little chunkier and bigger than the Jellystone heart, but not as big and bulky as the Ps and Qs and grabbers. They may not be as lovely as the Jellystone hearts, but they are tough enough and big enough to take on the most determined chewers. And I think they look cool; not babyor toddleror therapeuticlooking at all. A really great solution for older chewers!

My 5 year old chews on his clothes. I bought this necklace in an effort to save necklines. So far he has loved it and I love it too!

My son (5 years) wanted to give this necklace 0 starts. He said "the chewy necklace is too hard, but the rope isn't that hard. That's why I chewed the rope instead". Also the plastic parts that hold it together were very tempting little chewy bits and were ruined quickly on my third necklace.

The first one we got (we got 3) lasted longer. The problem was that he chewed on the rope which would become soaked and gross. I tried to clean it nightly. If you have a big chewer they may just chew the rope which is not very helpful. It soaks his collar and starts to stink after a day.

My daughter, at first, loved it and the necklace seemed to give her the safe chewing comfort she needs. Unfortunately within a few days the rubber at the top where the string comes through started to crack on both sides. I had to take it away because of fear of her putting it in her mouth without the safety of the string. Very expensive for only lasting a few days. I thought because of the price it would be able to handle a six year old wear and tear....apparently not

Skip Hop Bento Diaper Tote Bag

Skip Hop Bento Diaper Tote Bag, BlackI received this bag last week and after spending weeks reading reviews and finally deciding on this bag, I really REALLY wanted to love it. Unfortunately, I did not.

Pros:

It is made from great quality materials--durable handles, strong inner/outer material, and smooth zippers.

Shuttle clips are GREAT for use on stroller or shopping cart to keep the bag out of your way and it keeps it in the perfect spot to unzip easily and access whatever you need inside the bag.

Cons:

The bottom insulated compartment MUST be filled for the bag to stay upright. In fact, the included 'mealtime kit' was not enough to fill this compartment completely. I also had to attach a bottle of water to the 'mealtime kit' to actually fill the compartment enough to keep this top-heavy bag upright.

The outer insulated bottle compartments do not properly fit extra-wide bottles (as advertised). The hard plastic bottom of the main compartment (also the top of the insulated lower compartment) extends too far out on both sides of the bag. If you place your hand in the bottle compartment you can feel the plastic bottom sticking out into this pocket. It sticks far enough into the insulated bottle compartment that you can actually set the bottle comfortably on it and it will stay right there. I even thought I would just use the bottle compartments like that (setting the bottles only halfway down the bottle pocket on the plastic 'shelf' rather than all the way down to the bottom of the pocket) but when you place two 9-oz. bottles at the top of an already top-heavy bag, it makes it nearly impossible to keep the bag upright. Besides, even if keeping the bag upright wasn't an issue, there is no reason to have this size bottle compartment if you can only use the top half. When you shove the bottle past the plastic 'shelf' that is sticking into the compartment, it causes it to buckle in the middle of the bag's main compartment and anything items you have put in the main compartment gets jumbled all over because the bottom of the bag is now curved up in the middle rather than being straight across as it is when there are no bottles in the insulated pockets. (It's also worth noting, this plastic bottom is sewn into the bag, so it can't be simply removed to solve this problem.) This is an issue I would overlook on a cheaper bag, but at almost $100, I would not expect such an obvious design flaw.

I really haven't had much of a chance to use this bag yet, but I wanted to write a review now because I almost didn't buy this bag based on other reviews that said that the insulated side pockets are partially blocked by a plastic piece. I wanted to use these side pockets not only for bottles and sippy cups, but also for my own personal water bottles and for a thermos that I use to carry warm water for mixing formula. If the plastic piece sticks out, as the reviewers said it would, I wouldn't be able to fit my water bottle or thermos in. Everything else about the bag seemed amazing, but this one aspect of not having the full-size side insulated pockets almost turned me away. I'm really glad that I ordered the bag to see for myself because this plastic piece is not an issue at all in the bag that I received. I can place full size water bottles, my thermos, wide mouth bottles, sippy cups, etc with no problem at all. Skip Hop must have either corrected the problem or maybe the reviewers who had this problem had flawed bags?

Also, regarding the reviews that said this bag is very top heavy and tips over all the time, I will agree that is true, but it is also true of the Skip Hop Duo, which I used for 2 years and absolutely loved. Prop it up against the park bench, a table leg, the wall, whatever. It's not annoying enough to deduct a star in my review.

I love my Bento bag! I have three children under 5, so my needs vary from diapers and bottles to snacks, toys, and sippy cups. I've found that with other diaper bags, I always had to carry a handbag in addition to a diaper bag when I was out with all three kids at one time. I can use my Bento to carry everything, including my own personal items. The best thing is that I can actually find things when I need them. The bottom compartment allows me to keep the snacks away from the other contents of my bag which not only simplifies my life, but keeps the rest of the bag crumb-free! It's stylish, functional, and just WORKS. It's as if the designers got into my head and created the perfect bag to suit my needs! I wouldn't expect anything less from Skip Hop

Summary of below: It's a great bag that fits a huge amount of items. I highly recommend it!

I had the Skip Hop Studio Diaper Bag Tote Bag, Pewter Dot for 5 months, but I found it just didn't have the storage I needed. I could never find my diapers and wipes fast enough, nor was the "Mommy" section of the purse large enough. However, since it was such a well-made, stylish bag, I decided to go with another SkipHop bag.

The Bento Diaper Tote has so much going for it! I've had it for 2 months, but I'm sorry I didn't get it sooner!

1. The straps are all long enough to fit over a shoulder, and the long strap allows you to carry the bag messenger style for a more hands-free experience.

2. The bottle pockets are huge. I've never had the problem the other reviewers mentioned about the bag not allowing items to go to the bottom. I actually use the included ice packet in the pocket with my bottles to keep them cold.

3. The bottom section that holds the food cooler/ice packet is amazing! My daughter is only 7 months old, so we don't really need the cooler feature yet. Instead, I keep all my diapering needs down there so they are easy to get to. It fits 6 disposable diapers, 2 cloth diapers, 1 wet wipes travel case, 1 small tube of Boudreaux's Butt Paste, Diaper Rash Ointment, Tube 4 oz (113 g), a wetbag dispenser, and an extra onsie. Yeah it's both large and well-planned. By keeping something in the lower pocket, the bag never falls over like other reviewers mentioned.

4. There are 3 pockets I use as "Mommy" pockets. In the large lower one on the middle-front of the bag I keep all my makeup, chapsticks, kleenexes, etc... The pocket just above it is small and semi-hidden, so I keep my car keys and cell phone in there. Then there is a fairly large pocket just in front of the main compartment of the diaper bag where I keep my "big" wallet (hold my checkbook, coupons, etc...). It has room for a lot more, but I like to keep that pocket zipped unless I need it so I don't put anything else in there.

5. The main compartment is huge and well organized. It has 7 little elasticized pockets around it with an open center space. Since the bag has the lower zip out compartment, it's not so deep you can't access anything. Also, since the rest of the bag is so well organized, I don't have to carry a lot in here. Just a feeding spoon, a few toys, easy-grab burp rag, camera, wallet, sunbonnet and sunglasses, my sunglasses, etc... When I want to, I stick my laptop in the middle section and it fits perfectly!

6. The bag is so well-styled! I have the olive green color, and military details have been "in" for while now. I have a pretty neutral style anyways, and this bag fits right in. No, it's not as dressy as my old bag and I might feel a little strange carrying it to the wedding I am attending soon, but my husband will carry it without a problem and he refuses to hold my purses for even a second! It basically looks like a messenger bag.

I haven't tried out the cooler yet because I have no needed it, so I cannot comment on that. I basically see if as a bonus item since the bag itself is so amazing!

The only negative I can this of is that the long shoulder strap doesn't have padding, and if the buckle is at the exact right length, it will hit your shoulder painfully. You just have to tighten or loosen it 2 inches to fix that problem when it arises.

If you don't want a large bag, this is NOT for you. But if you are like me and you tend to pack everything you can (including 6 diapers for one baby, along with 4 toys, etc...), this bag is PERFECT! I imagine it would be great if you had more than one child, also, as it gives you separate compartments for their different needs and plenty of space to carry everything in.

My son is now 8 months old and this bag still suits our needs. I have used this bag since I packed his things for the hospital. I use Dr. Brown's 8oz standard bottlesDr. Brown's 3 Pack BPA Free Polypropylene Bottle, 8 oz, and I am able to fit two in each of the insulated side pockets, despite them being slightly taller than usual bottles, or one bottle with an ice pack. When he was eating breast milk, the insulated pockets worked well with an ice pack to keep the milk cold until feeding.

Until baby was old enough for solids, we used the bottom pocket (meant for the meal kit/ice pack) for extra diaper storage. Now that he is eating solids, we use it for its intended purpose, and keep the diapers inside. The meal kit that comes with the bag works well I have had no problems with the food containers leaking, despite the fact that they pop on and off, instead of screwing on an off (an initial concern of mine.). Also, I like the fact that you can buy an extra meal kit. I own two extras and use them for feeding at the house as well as on the go. Skip Hop Bento Mealtime Kit, Black I make homemade baby food and freeze in ice cubes. In the morning, I pack his lunch and dinner in the meal kit for Grandma's and they are still cold by dinner time, so she doesn't have to rush home to put the food in the fridge. Also, works nicely if we are spending the entire day running errands, etc and don't have time to go home to the fridge. This bag really makes using homemade baby food convenient which is important to us.

I did rate it as only 4 stars, because sometimes, it seems like it could be a little bigger. I also use cloth diapers, which I understand take up more space, so maybe this is my fault. ;) Inside, I can fit a small pack of wipes, the included changing pad, some bum genius diapers bumGenius One-Size Cloth Diaper Grasshopper, a formula container Sassy On The Go Formula Dispenser, Colors May Vary a few extra paci's and one or two outfits. It all fits, but you have to use some strategy to get it all in, and I'm usually not able to zip the bag (not a big deal to me).

It has stroller straps that clip onto my stroller conveniently, as well as shoulder straps and an optional strap to carry it like a messenger, which is very nice when you are lugging around a heavy car seat and little one.

It also has a small pocket that fits an iPhone nicely, and a larger pocket on the front of the bag that I keep some extra wipes in, so I have easy access. The phone pocket is at the top of the bag which makes it easy to get to your phone when its hanging on the stroller.

All in all, I am really satisfied with this bag. I am able to pack a whole day's worth of formula, bottles, food, diapers, and clothes in one compact bag and not have to worry about where everything is. Initially, I wanted the black one, because I thought it was the most gender-neutral and my husband would help carry it too. When we went to buy it, he picked out the goldenrod color and now I am glad to have it, it looks a little more unique.
