Itzy Ritzy Toddler Car Seat Cover

We bought the itzy ritzy rodeo drive for our son's infant carseat. Now that he's in a toddler car seat we decided to buy this one too! It sure helps with stickey hands and crumbs! I love the classic soother pocket on the side! Easy to install as usual...

My only suggestion would be to incorporate water proof material into these products as this would help with accidents/leak throughs.

Our Itzy Ritzy Toddler Car Seat Cover is working out great. It covers a boring beige patterned car seat and looks, and feels, upscale and fabulous. I love the black on black side of the reversibile cover, and don't mind the black & white pattern on the other side. It is well constructed, went on easily. It is a little loose fitting on our particular car seat, but with some tugging and tucking, it works fine and hasn't come loose. I was concerned that it might be too hot during the summer as the fabric is substantial (and cozy) however my husband pointed out that with the airconditioning on, and it would be during the summer, it's a moot point.

we have a Recaro ProRide convertible seat and it's incredibly inconvenient, not to mention difficult, to get the cover off and wash it but if you have a toddler in this seat every day it needs to be washed quite often. we tried many other car seat covers but they just didn't fit the large top on the Recaro seat until this one. this is the only cover that we've found that even comes close to fitting the ProRide. it doesn't fit perfectly but it's so easy to get on and off that it's still worth the price.

Hoohobbers Rocking Chair, Primary Canvas

My daughter loves this chair very much. I had a very similar (if not exactly the same) chair when I was a kid and I loved it too. The only thing I would like to change is I would like to be able to take the fabric off and wash it.

Wean Green Lunch Cubes Glass Food Containers

We use only glass for our lunches. These are perfect for sandwiches, snacks, soups, etc, You might be able to do better price-wise elsewhere though....

These cubes are great, however, they are very expensive on Amazon. i think it's b/c this is the baby version of the glasslock containers. After I purchased them, I found a whole set of Glasslock containers at Costco for the same price of two of the "wean greens." Check out the regular glasslock containers first!

green sprouts 2 Count Garden Sandwich and Snack Bag

I was super excited to use these and after about the fourth or fifth time the velcro holding the larger bag closed is ripping off. It looks like it was stitched on crooked so hopefully I can just run a straight stitch and still be able to use it.

I bought for my kindergartener since she would be taking lunches since I don't agree with serving prepackaged microwavable food to kids because of preservatives. I wasn't sure if she could open Ziploc bags easily so these are great for her.

Baby Brezza Travel Capsule - Green

I bought these containers from a different vendor and hopped on Amazon to buy more! I love that there are two separate food containers put inside one larger container. It creates less chaos in my diaper bag and I actually prefer using the spoon that it comes with as well. I took away one star because the plastic is a bit flimsy, but with good care I think it will last for the amount of time I need it. I definitely think it was worth the purchase.

Cheap pieces of plastic that don't fit well together once taken apart. Save your money and buy other containers any other containers instead.

Newborn Baby Tracker® - Round the Clock Childcare Journal, Log Book

We received our first baby tracker as a gift when our son was born, and initially we thought it was simply to keep track of things so that we could share this info with the pediatrician. As time went by, it became useful in figuring out his sleep patterns, following eating tendencies, and tracking his diaper events if you catch my drift.

This book has become even more helpful since my wife and I split baby duties. It makes it very easy to see at a glance when he last ate and how much or when his diaper was last changed.

Each page is set up like a spreadsheet with columns for napping, eating, diaper change, play, and comments. There are also areas for the date and totalling how much he eats in case that's an issue.

The only things that I wish were different about this book are:

1) It would be nice if the hours had alternating shading, i.e. odd hours are shaded and even hours are not. This would make it easier to see the times.

2) It would be nice if this were available in a loose leaf version, but that's just a personal preference. It would be great to have a thin binder that holds like 14 pages to take in the diaper bag, but then have a large binder for archiving old pages.

Overall, I can highly recommend this book.

This product was really well designed and thought out. Much better than others out there. I like that you can track times of diaper changes not just number, and that you can easily see the whole day laid out before you. It really helped me through my sleep deprived delirium.

Green Sprouts Plant Fiber Dinner Ware Set

We just bought this set yesterday and it appears it won't last long in our house. When I purchased it, I thought it was going to be like a hard plastic, but it is almost a hard glass material. The fork was broken within 5 minutes of giving it to our 16 month old daughter. She threw it on our kitchen foor (which is slate) and one of the prongs broke off. I hope the plate and bowl last a little longer!

We use this set all the time for our son's meals. It's sturdy and easy to clean. A quick hand rinse after each meal and let it drip dry next to the sink. Our son is only 9 months so we haven't let him have the utensils yet, but they seem like they would break easily if dropped on a hard floor or banged against the table. This set is really pretty but it feels sortof glass-like and I probably wouldn't trust my son with it until I could be sure he wouldn't bang/throw it. But then again, he eats off the tray on the high chair a lot right now anyway.

Update: We've been using this set multiple times a day for almost 3 months now. While I still really like I it, I am downgrading a star because of discoloration in the bowl. The sides of the inside of the bowl have become lighter, almost like they were bleached and there is an obvious circle around the picture in the bottom. Notably, the bottom of the bowl, where the picture is, hasn't discolored one bit. We're very careful about washing everything immediately after eating so it's not because of that. The only thing I can think of is that acidic foods are eating away at the bowl, but that doesn't explain why the very bottom of the bowl has no staining.

I got this set because I have a special needs guy and a 2 year old in the process of using different cups. Winston my 2 years old loves the fork so much he keeps asking for the fok as he calls in. The plate set is really nice set. The ceramic/plastic is very durable and can handle being dropped on all surfaces without shattering or chipping. Washes great hand or dishwasher and the design stays in place. The plate, bowl, fork and spoon are all decent size for the growing fingers and are very easy to hold and grab which is nice. They are on the slippery side, so beware of those messes kids love to create.
