This chair is amazing. It is the one item we both agree is completely irreplaceable. Both sets of grandparents have different chairs at their houses for when we visit and I always end up cursing them, wishing the Boon was with us.
THE PROS:
For one, it's a snap to clean. I can't even imagine how much time and work it must take out of a parent's day to clean other highchairs 4-5 times a day. With this one, you seriously just wipe it down like you do your kitchen table.
Then there's the wheels the mobility you get with this chair is AWESOME. We move this chair all around the house. It's nice to be able to keep the babe nearby when I just have to run into another room for a few minutes and I need to be hands-free. Or, when I need to use the bathroom. The brake is super stable so there's no need to worry about the kid rolling away or, when they start walking pushing it around.
I like the height of the tray. Nearly every other chair we tried had the trays set way too high at chest level. Would you want to eat at a table that came up that high?? This one is set lower so your baby can reach and see everything. (IMO, this is why one reviewer said their kids make more messes on the floor in this chair because they can reach their food! But I don't think it's right to strap a kid down in a chair with a table up to their chins, preventing them from moving their arms freely and exploring their food.)
And lastly, in addition to its functionality, it's got a very sleek, retro/space age design that SCREAMS "cool". "That is the COOLEST chair I've ever seen! Where did you get it??" I can't even count the number of times we've heard this from friends and family. The design speaks for itself. It is just so cool.
THE CONS:
We don't have any complaints, but I guess if I had to come up with something it would be the pneumatic feature. However, even if it worked properly we wouldn't need it it's really no problem to just pull or push the chair into place. Since we haven't found a pressing need to move her up and down, I suppose the enormous weight of the chair (and the price, probably) could be lessened if this feature were removed. That said, we actually really love that the base is heavy. And it is HEAVY. But it makes us feel more sure of its safety. Some of the highest-rated chairs looked and felt too lightweight and flimsy to us so we actually sought out a sturdier, heavier chair.
(My one other [very recently discovered and minor] complaint: That fact that Boon didn't have the Cherry Red color available when we bought ours.)
COMMENTS ON OTHER REVIEWS:
*Regarding the tray size We have never felt the tray was too small. Sure, you can't fit big toys on there and too many toys get crowded and fall off but highchairs are primarily for eating, not playing. We removed the tray insert for a little more space (and fewer things to clean) but all of our dishes adult and baby dishes fit on the tray just fine.
*Regarding tray insertion & removal I'm surprised that some people claim they need two hands to work the tray lever. Compared all the other chairs we looked at this was BY FAR the easiest tray to work with one-handed.
*Regarding the "foot rest" I don't think it *is* a footrest. I think it's just design. *shrugs*
*Regarding crotch and belly tightness Our kiddo has been 99%-tile for height and weight since day one and has never had a problem fitting in the chair.
*Regarding safety The reviews saying it's a dangerous product or that you can't use it with a squirmy child are outrageous. Ours dances and kicks and twists and boogies all the time and it never once looked like it was going to topple. There have been the occasional attempts to get out but so far no luck. And we don't even use the harness. The tray, when inserted properly, is very stable and enough to keep our squirmer in.
BOTTOM LINE:
We love this chair. Our kid loves this chair. It is perfect for our needs and it was worth every penny.

This chair is so easy to clean, but if you want it to look that way, then you actually have to clean it. lol. I have the white one with the orange seat and i have to admit the white does look stained after my son eats spaghetti or anything red on it. What i do to clean it is 1.) wipe it down with a washcloth, 2.) spray "Clorox clean up spray" and just let it soak till the chair and tray look white again (couple minutes). Then rinse off the spray.. You should do that anyway to sanitize the tray.I clean the tray in the sink. Not when its still on the chair. "Note" the Orange pad does not get stained with the bleach. I have sprayed it multiple times and have never lost any color. Still looks great.
It is a great chair. Since the tray is lower and closer to his waist than his chest, it makes it very hard for him to get out. Its impossible since he doesn't have enough leg room to move his leg up and around the tray. This i love! haha. My sister in law has a chair and the tray is almost to his face. Maybe it makes it easy to shovel the food in his face but my son can get out of it since he can bend his knees and then stand up.
I have permanently removed the straps since my son has never attempted to get out and wouldn't be able to anyway. This way i can take the orange pad to clean it after every meal.
I have a very very small apt and love this chair, since the footprint is very small and its circular so its easy to just go around it.
Its true the tray is small but we have little plates that we bought and never had a problem. I love that it fits in my sink. And i have a small double sink, not a large one.

I have researched since she was born to see which feeding chair was safe, visually pleasing. I am one of those people who hates primary baby colored , ugly baby gear. I hate to clutter every single corner with toys and baby gear. Anyways, visually I loved boon chair and other feeding essantials. Bloom is a great looking feeding chair as well but 400 dollars is a waste of money when there is a product that is as good.
At 6 months I finally ordered this product.
cons;1Back cushion does not go all the way and when baby rejecting food and pushes herself back, she hits herself on the plastic part. Instead they put a handle to pull the chair around.
2It would have been perfect if the chair tilted back for bottle feedings.
3Base is bighowever it does make the chair more safe.
4the belt only releases with one button push. My daugter is already watching this, im sure pretty soon she will figure this out.
Pros: 1-easy to clean
2cool looking-actually awsome :)
3bpa free
4easy to wheel around
5brake is not so strong and that is good since babies are very strong when they push the chair with their feet away from table , they can fall backward if the brake was very strong. since it is not exteremly strong when my daughter pushes herself away very strongly she wheels little away, she soesnt fall off.I have watched stokke feeding chair video on youtube , how it fell backwards when the baby pushed herself away. Babies are very strong:)))
62 detachable tray covers ( makes cleaning easier)
7Tray is not easly removeable by child, easy enough for parents and there is 2 tray settings:)
Overall very nice product. My first order came with broken brake however buying directly from amazon is always good since they sent me a brand new chair and ups picked up the first order. That is why i will continue to buy every baby product from amazon , free shipping and best prices and customer service. why go to a store , right?

I had a Graco 3-in-1 or 4-in-1 (can't remember), but had to replace it after our home was lost in a tornado. After checking out reviews I decided on the Boon. I am so happy I did. The things I hated about the Graco are the things I love about the Boon. It is so easy to clean, no cracks or creases to dig food out of. I also love that I can adjust the height and sit my son up to the bar or at the table. The tray is small, so does not fit a full size plate, but I never use one with my son anyway. The pros to having a small tray, is that it easily fits in the dishwasher. I regret that I did not purchase a boon with my older two children. It is totally worth the extra money. The seat does not recline, but I never put my kids in high chairs until they could sit on their own anyways. If you want to see the chair in action there is a video on youtube, that shows you how it works. You won't regret your purchase!

With so many positive reviews I'm not sure my review is even necessary but here goes anyway. We bought this high chair for our third child. We had a less expensive Chicco high chair that did the trick for the first two but this is so much better.
I love the small size of it because we don't have a very big kitchen. It fits nicely in the corner and allows the baby to fit in at the table with the rest of the family.
I also love the small tray size, which is so much easier to handle and clean than the typical trays that are twice the size. Some reviews said the trays are too small but I love them and a small plate would likely fit on it when the time comes. The tray liners are also a brilliant idea.
I also remember reading a review that said it's hard to take the tray off with one hand. I'm not the most coordinated person and it's never been a problem for me!
I also like how the chair moves so easily on our tile floor. I can roll it to the side once I'm done feeding the baby and clean up all the food she threw on the floor. I think I remember reading some negative comments about the chair moving too much or too easily but I haven't had any problems with that yet.
Cleaning the chair itself is also so quick since it's all one piece of molded plastic.
My only caution to people would be that the infant insert doesn't do much in terms of supporting a baby. This chair is great for 6 months plus but if you want to feed your baby before six months (we didn't) it probably wouldn't be great. Also the pneumatic lift is a cool feature but not one you use very often b/c you just set the height and leave it.
