Nestle Cerelac Banana & Wheat with Milk 400g

Nestle Cerelac Banana & Wheat with Milk 400gthis is going to sound insane but my cousin and I ordered it for our selves (she's 14, I'm 21)we absolutely loved it! this is one of my favorite flavors. i have tasted this brand a long time ago and have been a huge fan :) i felt like it was a bit pricey but what ever its yummy. shipping came on the day it said it will arrive.

Earth's Best Organic 2nd Pears, (6 months & up), 4 Ounce Jars (Pack of 12)

Earth's Best Organic 2nd Pears,, 4 Ounce JarsEarth's Best makes good baby food that my child likes. However, I am rating their product here as it is available through Amazon. I'm very disappointed, like the other reviewer said, about the very short expiration date.

A few days before I ordered this, the page said it wasn't in stock and that it would be available Sept. 15th. I ordered on the 15th, and it arrived on the 17th as promised with the free 2-day shipping. My case was supposedly the restocked pears, but the expiration date is Nov 09. New stock shouldn't have an expiration date that is only 2 months away, even if it is on sale! In the grocery store, the expiration date usually is 1 or 2 years away.

Earth's Best Pears are our son's favorite of the EB fruits. He has significant feeding delays due to complications as a micro-preemie, but he's always done well with the pears.

We have ordered several cases of the pears from Amazon and have had no problems with expiration dates. All cases have had expiration dates many months from the purchase date.

Earth's best organic food are wonderful if you're on the go and didn't have time to make your baby's food.

The food that was shipped expires in two months! Since it was a good price, I thought I would stock up. If I knew this, I would not have purchased it! The baby food that i purchased last week at our local Whole Foods Market expires in two years.

Now i'm stuck with 48 jars of pears that will expire in two months.

Big fan of the earth's best food in general, but I couldn't get our daughter to eat the pears. Tried it myself, tastes pretty awful, a strong flavor of core rather than fruit. Oh well, all the products can't be good I guess. Highly recommend choosing another Earth's best product.

If you are looking for a healthy alternative to tradtional baby foods, we have found Earth's Best to be great. We read the ingredients and were shocked to find (gasp) actually identifiable food items. The pears, for instance, list something like "organic pears, water" as the ingredients instead of partially hydrogenated something or other... Great product.

Bumkins 2 Count Reusable Snack Bags

Bumkins 2 Count Reusable Snack Bags, Green Turtle and CrocsI own both the Bumkins snack bag and the Itzy Ritzy Snack Happens 2 Count Snack Mini Reusable Snack Bag, Funky Monkey Remix.

Here's my review of the Itzy Ritzy: http://www.amazon.com/review/R3NN1E99D5C4HM

I like the Bumkins bag a lot better because:

1. it's MUCH easier to thoroughly wash and dry on a day-to-day basis. This is the same material as the super awesome Bumkins Waterproof Super Bib. It doesn't hold stains and dries in a jiffy. This makes it very practical to use every day which is key for busy moms. Itzy Ritzy was a lot more difficult to keep clean.

and

2. way cheaper than Itzy Ritzy

Both have zippers, which I prefer to the velcro.

The prints are loud and colorful. Some adults may find them garrish. My kid loves the Dr. Seuss pattern. I personally would be fine taking this in my own lunch to work. Sure, it's a kid's print, but who cares. It's a sack lunch snack bag. If someone at work is going to make fun of you for having a Dr. Seuss snack bag, they need to seriously grow up.

It's NOT waterproof, but will hold moist things fine. You probably don't want to put anything super juicy in it.

I was bit confused after reading two previous reviews about the waterproofness of these bags. Decided to give them a go. I've put in sliced up apples, just washed grapes and sliced pears and it all worked out fine for snack time. Wouldn't put strawberries or raspberries or anything that can get mushy in a bag for snack. They do hold up for day to day snacks. but not for sliced pears left in a backpack over an entire weekend:) my bad. The wetness was 99 percent contained but not the smell. We really like these bags and use them to replace zip lock where ever possible.

Below is my original 4-star review...After using these for an entire school year I decided to upgrade their star rating to 5. Why?? They have held up very well and I wash them in the washer. I do not wash on gentle cycle but to wash them with only lightweight/non zipper-button clothing only i.e. PJs, T-shirts, etc. I do let them air dry. As my review below stated, I was apprehensive about the thinner material vs. the Itzy Ritzy Snack Happened Mini Playground Superheroes ones I ordered at the same time. However, at half the price I think they are definitely worth it. Give them a try, I think you will be happy with the experience :)

**Original Review**

I didn't give these bags 5 stars because the material is a little on the thin side. There is a big difference between these and the ItzyRity ones---but the price is cheaper for these. I am hoping they last---but for the price paid I believe 4 stars is fair.

these bags seal well and clean nicely but I like to pack lunches the night before but the chips seem to go stale. If you are willing to pack the items within a few hours of use like before you leave the house then these should work for you.

These are so cute! I probably won't be using them for food but I think they would work great for that. I bought them specifically to keep small puzzles in to take to restaurants for my 2-year-old. He loves puzzles and I had been taking some in my purse in plastic Ziploc bags but was looking for something different for safety reasons. These fit the bill perfectly. Great for crayons too. I got one of the bigger ones as well for some of the larger puzzles. Just dawned on me that the even larger wet bags may work well for shoe bags. I have looked and looked for something to keep an extra pair of shoes in his diaper bag/suitcase other than plastic grocery bags. Wanted something that could be washed and these can be! So many uses for these tiny bags and the larger ones. Love them!

Plum Organics Baby Broccoli Apple, 4.22-Ounce Pouches (Pack of 24)

Plum Organics Baby Broccoli Apple, 4.22-Ounce PouchesOne day at target my son was starving. He is 9 months old and is starting to have an opinion about everything. He did not want the bottle I had and I could tell he was going to start screaming. I grabbed one of these wonderful things off the shelf and squirted it in his mouth. He loved it. In about 3 minutes he sucked down the whole thing and was happily shopping once again. I have tried almost all of the flavors and this is one of the best. Awesome product.

My son really likes this flavor. I was skeptical at first but he can't get enough of it. I buy it in bulk, that's how much he likes it.

Our son loves most of the P.O. products, but this is one he just despises. I now have a large case of P.O. broccoli apple pouches that will probably get donated bc I can't even trick him into these. But he loves the other fruit/veggie combinations.

Bumbo Seat Play Tray, Ivory

Bumbo Seat Play Tray, IvoryI usually don't write reviews if there are several on the board, however I was shocked to see so many bad reviews, and it's ovbious to me that those reviewers who said their child pulled the tray top off, didn't properly attached it.

First, you have to put this tray together as it comes in two pieces, the center piece that attaches to the front of the bumbo attaches to the top piece AND YOU HAVE TO HEAR IT SNAP. After that you never take them apart, there's simply no need (and looking at it I think it'd be really hard to do actually) the whole thing together is the tray.

Then to attach the tray to the Bumbo seat SIT YOUR CHILD IN THE SEAT and slide the top tray part over the middle hump of the bumbo, then slide the center part under the bottom of the Bumbo seat.

There is no way a baby could pull the tray off, as you will find it requires a little effort to remove it by an adult in fact, as it should be.

I have NEVER taken my baby out of the seat with the tray on it, and I can't find the instructions now but I'm pretty sure it said something there about that... in any case, the Bumbo snuggles your baby in a way that I think I would hurt my baby's legs if I pull him out with the tray on anyway... or maybe my baby is just too fat! (LOL)

But seriously, this tray is great... before, when I sat my baby in the seat he'd look at his toys on the floor with a sad face, because they were just out of reach for him, now they can be placed on the tray and he'll play for happily for a long time.

Also, THIS SEAT IS NOT A HIGH CHAIR AND SHOULD NOT BE USED AS ONE there's a BIG WARNING about that on the seat, actually... your baby could get out of the seat and fall, so if you place it on a high surface your baby could end up hurt. This seat should be use at floor level only.

This tray is awesome!! I've been using the Bumbo seat for about 9 months now but I just recently bought the tray. I really wish I had purchased the tray from the beginning. It is so helpful. I have pretty much abandoned my daughters normal high chair and feed her in this. We love it so much!! When I first purchased it, I had a hard time getting it to stay together but I didn't have it pushed in tight enough. Once my husband came home (Mr. Engineer Extraordinaire), he noticed I didn't have it put together right. Ever since then, no problems. We use it constantly and it has never come apart (unless we take it off). My husband is always critical of how products are designed poorly but he is impressed with this little tray.

My daughter loves playing with her toys on the tray when in her Bumbo. I found that I can attach her links to the rim of the tray so they don't fall on the floor. It is also great for feeding her we haven't pulled out her full-sized high chair yet and use the Bumbo instead.

For those reviewers who said their child pulled the tray top off it sounds like you haven't properly attached it. The center piece that attaches to the front of the bumbo SNAPS IN to the top piece. Those two pieces should be permanently attached to each other. To put it on the bumbo you slide the top tray part over the middle hump of the bumbo, then slide the center part under the bottom of the bumbo. When properly used there is absolutely no way a baby would be able to pull it apart.

Installing: Trying to insert the bottom tray piece into the tray itself was a major pain (I have two of these trays). I had to get my husband to put these together.

Attaching: You attach the tray to the Bumbo with your kid already in the seat. It can be a little tricky because you need to make sure their arms/legs are out of the way so they don't get pinched.

Functionality: My kids like the trays so they can lay their toys on there. We are not to the solid food stage yet, but, you can also use the try for feeding as well. At an early stage, its nice to use the seat without the tray so they can see their little toes.

This is a cheap tray and its just hard to put together due to the plastic pieces, but it does the job. The tray is not real thick...so its not very bulky which is a good thing.

The Bumbo tray is great. We have a high chair as well but we still use the Bumbo sometimes to feed him. The tray makes it a lot easier. Plus I can put his toys etc. on top so they're in easy reach for him to play with.

I agree with other reviewers that it's very expensive and not worth paying full price. I bought my Bumbo + tray used from another mom and would suggest that you do the same. These things are pretty much indestructible and easily cleaned so there is no need get one brand new.

Ella's Kitchen Organic Baby, 3.5 Ounce Pouches (Pack of 7)

Ella's Kitchen Organic Baby Food, the sweet potato, blueberry one, 3.5 Ounce PouchesAfter reading the reviews here stating that the Iron content of Ella's Kitchen Spinach packs was incorrect, I checked out their website to see for myself. Hmm.. no announcement there stating that an error had been made. So, I contacted the company wondering if it was a misunderstanding. No, it's true. The Spinach flavor only has 4-6% DV of Iron... NOT 120% as has been clearly indicated on the pouches I have been buying for my son for OVER A YEAR! I have been purchasing these packs by the case thinking that if my son did not eat enough other Fe-rich foods on a particular day, at least he would eat this. I mean you know how difficult it can be to get little ones to take in enough iron, so I thought this was a great option. IF I HAD KNOWN that it only contained 4 or 6%, then I would have given my son other additional Fe-rich foods or continued making my own purees. I guess I should have known it was too good to be true when I noticed that the first ingredient is in fact APPLES not Spinach as the front of the pouches would have you believe.

What upsets me the most is that there is not even a warning or announcement on Amazon or at Target stores stating that there has been a mistake?!! If the company knows, why isn't this info passed on to the consumer?!!? Here I thought I was purchasing (a more expensive) but also more nutritionally complete product for my baby and to find out it's just as void of nutrients as all of the other brands on the shelves. I really thought this company was exciting and different and focused on kids' nutrition and health. I guess not. I am asking for a refund at the very least. Honestly, the company is lucky if parents don't decide to take up a lawsuit for their negligence in getting the word out. The incorrectly labeled packs should be recalled like anything elsenot left on the shelves to trick parents! Normally, I am not one to overact and am certainly not litigious in the least. Humans (and companies run by humans) make mistakes. It's natural. But as a physcian and a mother, I am really annoyed by the lack of respect shown to consumers in failing to notify the community of this error.

This flavor does not actually contain 120% of daily iron for babies, as still listed on most packaging. This was a grievous error (a "printing error" according to the company). This flavor only contains 6% iron, in the realm of most other baby food pouch products. Unfortunately, this company has failed to pull mislabeled products or notify distributors of the long running error.

As simple as that: nutritional information is NOT accurate !!!

Iron content in purple bag is only 2%, NOT 45% as stated on the pouch itself !!!!!!!!!!!

Light green pouch "Rutabagas", contains Iron: 4%, NOT 120% stated on the package itself !!!!!!!

We have fed 2 packs daily: 1 light green "rutabagas" and 1 purple one "pumpkins" to our girl since she was 3.5 month old.

What a disappointment !!! This company should be held accountable for causing anemic, malnutritioned infants.

Wow, I can hardly keep my emotions !!!

FDA control anyone ...

We spent two years feeding our iron-deficient son this product only to find out (via a sticker placed atop the old nutritional label) that Ella's Kitchen Spinach Apples + Rutabagas contains very little iron at all.

Have a look for yourself. Here's the old label:

Iron: 120%

Vit C: 15%

Calcium: 70%

Sodium: 20mg

And here's the new one:

Iron : 4%

Vit C: 0%

Calcium: 4%

Sodium: 75mg

In other words, for two years the nutritional label was bogus. What the product actually contained was 1/30th the iron and almost 4 times the salt. This is completely unacceptable and suggests a lack of quality control that makes it very difficult for us to trust Ella's Kitchen's other products and nutritional claims.

We'll be removing them from our shopping list.

I also have been buying these pouches because of their supposed iron content. The broccoli, pears and peas pouch has a label that states it contains 45% of the daily recommended allowance of iron. The sweet potato, pumpkin, apple and blueberry pouch also states on the label that it contains 45% of the daily recommended allowance of iron. This is not true! The company's own website states these pouches only have 2-4% of the daily recommended allowance of iron yet the incorrectly labeled pouches are still on the market. I will not buy from this company again.
