Similac Organic Powder, 23.2-Ounce

Similac Organic Powder, 23.2-OunceMy baby seems to like it okay. It is grainy but I imagine most powder formulas are. We have only tried one other Organic formula and it went bad before we were half way through with the canister. This one I could buy at Target for a fairly reasonable price, seems like I can find it cheaper there than on Amazon. The smell is mild compared to the other brand we tried. I have no complaints so far.

MY lo had to be rushed to the ER!!! Allergic Reaction after this Formula. Her entire Body was swollen. Never had any problems with any other Formula....PLEASE STAY AWAY!!!

Earth's Best Junior Baby Food Organic My First Soup, 6 Ounce Jars (Pack of 12)

Earth's Best Junior Baby Food Organic My First Soup, Split Pea and Carrot, 6 Ounce JarsMy son is a picky eater, and especially hates eating textured/dry food. Since I knew he liked butternut squash, I decided to try this flavor out and sure enough he loved it!

The soup has meat and grains, so he's getting all of the food groups, and it's easy enough for him to swallow.

If you have a picky eater like I do, I definitely recommend this flavor for your baby!

The product description does not list the ingredients so here they are:

Ingredients: Organic Vegetables (Organic Peas, Organic Carrots), Water, Organic Ground Chicken, Organic Whole Oat Flour, Organic Split Pea Powder.

This is my kids favorite jarred baby food. I make most of the food at home and in a pinch I revert to Butternut Squash bisque, most other jarred baby food are unpalatable. This is creamy and has chicken and veggies. So it's a win

I usually used to buy this from Babies r us, but with subscribe and save plus the shipping home factor has made amazon.com a fav shopping site.

Tip to make this more calorific: once my baby got to 11 mos and wanted more chunkier food, I used to mash up an egg yolk ( boiled) with a splash of whole milk and make it into a paste, pour in warm Bisque and thicken with oatmeal or brown rice cereal . (disclaimer: my kids have never been allergic to milk or eggs and I started them on it pretty early, you might wanna add formula)

My son loves this "soup". The consistency of the soup is basically the same as thick, smooth baby food (it just doesn't have any chunky bits of food in it as most Stage 3 baby foods do, which qualifies it as a "soup" apparently). When my son was 8 months old, he had a hard time adjusting to chunky foods (gagging and choking, etc.), but I needed to buy him some protein-rich baby foods, as we were weaning.

I was also buying the Sweet Potato and Chicken meal (stage 2), but I really wanted the larger serving that this jar offered. Upon comparing the nutritional content on the two jars, I discovered that this soup has as much protein per serving as the actual meal labeled as Sweet Potato and Chicken perfect!

I was slightly concerned that the "cinnamon" might cause him gas issues or digestive discomfort (it does me sometimes and he is a spitter-upper), but he has no problems whatsoever. And he LOVES the taste. He will eat a whole jar in no time flat (at room temperature, me spooning it in).

My son is now almost 14 months old. He is in the 95% for height and 55% for weight. He has never really adjusted to chunky baby food, which I can't explain, as he now eats finger foods, bananas, berries, pb&j, mac and cheese, chicken, etc. just fine self-feeding. But I still use these Earth's Best Soups pretty much daily to supplement his dinner, to make sure he keeps his weight up to how fast he is growing. He eats on his own for awhile and then I feed him a jar of soup. He still loves them and it is great having an easy source of protein on hand.

My daughter likes this but prefers the chunkier texture of the EB chicken & stars. This was good when she didn't have teeth and wasn't a good chewer like she is now.

Little Duck Organics Tiny Fruits, Blueberry & Apple, 1-Ounce Pouches (Pack of 9)

Little Duck Organics Tiny Fruits, Blueberry & Apple, 1-Ounce PouchesOh my gosh, I picked these up in a local organic grocery and *LOVE* them. I ate half the bag myself and our baby and bigger toddler both ate them up. Fresh and tasty, perfect size for little hands, great texture. Love that it's organic with no additives whatsoever. Perfect on-the-go snack, too. (How else can you eat blueberries without having a big mess?)

Was out of stock at local store when I went back (only had mango/strawberryalso good, but these are better), so I tried Amazon. Also out of stock currently, but much better price. Think I'll be subscribing to this item as soon as possible.

I don't know what the other reviewer meant when they mentioned the price was too high, these come out to $3.60 a bag (unless the price was different when they left the review). My 1 1/2 year old loves to eat these, and likes all the flavors. They are great to keep on hand while we are out for snacks, and the only ingredient is the fruit nothing else! I can't find them easily around town, so I end up having to order them online for her.

These are a great light snack for all. My 1 & 3 yr olds love them and I have to have some whenever they want them. & they're very easy to pack for trips away from home.

The apple taste sweet and a little bit sour, which is very tasty. However, if you cannot finish the pouch soon after opened, the apple will lose its crispy feature very quick.

I love these snacks for my toddler especially when he is on a fruit strike. But why is the item price so expensive. You can find them other places for $4.2 per bag

Itzy Ritzy Snack Happens Reusable Snack Bag

Itzy Ritzy Snack Happens Reusable Snack Bag, Rock StarI got 4 of these bags and am very happy. I specifically got these bags because they have a zipper, I'm not a fan of velcro. I don't have to worry about anything falling out when I toss these around. My toddler can get into these quite easily which makes us both happy. We have put quite a few things into these. One bag is devoted to trail mix and it lives in my purse. Another is for fresh apples (they leave a permanent yellowish stain on the liner). Cucumbers did OK and didn't leak (wow) but I prefer a hard container for juicy fruits and veggies. Pretzels stay fresh for the day but get a bit stale if left in the bag for a few days. Sandwiches do great and don't dry out.

Before the first use I cold washed in a lingerie bag on delicate and air dried. Mostly I just flip the liner inside out and wash it with my hand-washable dishes (I leave the outside cloth dry and the liner dries quite quickly). They clean up quick and easy.

I contacted the company to inquire about the material used. They were very friendly, informative and actually conducted their own testing with an outside lab. The lining is BPA, PVC, and phthalate free. Nice to know that they didn't take the word of the fabric manufacturer and did their own testing.

Since purchasing these lunch bags I have gotten one of their larger bags also. We use it for our wet swimsuits and it works wonderfully for keeping the wetness contained. Everything else in the gym bag stays dry.

All-in-all they are a bit expensive but I have gotten much more use out of them than I expected. I would certainly recommend them.

These sounded great. I was excited when they arrived. But they are not perfect. The zipper is a great idea, but the nature of sewing the zipper leaves nooks at the ends where crumbs are hard to get out. I searched high and low about the material used for the waterproof interior and could not find anything describing the material. All I could find is what the material does not contain: BPA, phalate, lead, all those things that get parents running screaming, but there was nothing on what the material does contain. So I finally contacted the company. I got vague roundabout answers, and only got a definitive answer when I asked point blank if the material had polyutherane. Yes, it has polyutherane. I thought polyutherane was toxic and releases VOC's that are harmful to children. Either I am wrong, or it explains why they would not say what the material is. I wonder what other substances the lining contains that I don't know to ask about since the company isn't forthcoming about the make up of the lining. But I still gave it 3 stars because I like the cotton exterior and fabric designs I got. The baggies are easy to use and useful though I wonder if I should continue to use for food.

I was really surprised when I received these bags! I was expecting a thinner material and wasn't expecting it to be as big (despite the measurements in the description), but these are made of a great quality fabric and zipper and are easily large enough for a sandwich and then some! I really like the zipper versus the bags with velcro closures so the crumbs stay in the bag. I ordered the Jungle Blue print and LOVE it! Exactly as pictured. Extremely happy with my purchase would definitely buy these again!

I bought these, the ReUsies, and the ReSnackit bags. Of the three, I definitely like the Itzy Ritzy ones best, even though I like the designs of the other two better. (I bought the Social Circle Blue and the LiquoriceSwirl in the Itzy Ritzy.) I was surprised that all three of the brands are pretty well constructed and made with quality material. The biggest advantage to the Itzy Ritzo ones in my opinion is the zipper the other two use velcro. After experimenting, I've found that the Itzy Ritzy keeps the food better protected than the velcro. It also keeps food particularly sandwiches just a little bit fresher. (Keep realistic expectations. It won't last as long as a zip lock plastic bag, but it will certainly keep it for the day.) It also keeps smaller food, like grapes and goldfish crackers, in without any fear of making a mess or crumbs falling out, which I certainly appreciate. It's super convenient that they are washable, and they hold up well. For those concerned, these are BPA free. I only bought two of these and plan to buy more. So far I've only used them for food, but I plan to buy more to toss in the diaper bag. I think because of the material inside, it can be used for almost anything. I would definitely recommend these to anyone.

I'm going to buck the trend here.

These bags are very cute and stylish. They are effective if you want to reduce your usage of plastic baggies. I like how they are zipper and not velcro. They do a good job, for the most part, of containing foods, although, if you're trying to store something juicy (like cut up oranges), you might be pushing your luck as the moisture will gradually seep through the seams and make the fabric outer cover damp.

If the only things you're going to use this for are dry snacks like crackers or cereal, you're probably fine just wiping the interior with a damp cloth after each use. And then once a week throwing it in the laundry for "deep cleaning".

But if you are using it for anything that is going to leave any residue (juicy fruit, oily chips, PBJ sandwiches, you get the idea here) these are really not practical. Turning inside out and wiping the interior doesn't get it clean enough for me. You can do a load of laundry (but most people don't do laundry every day) or hand wash and submerge it in soapy water, but the fabric outer takes forever to dry. So you really end up having to buy a 2 day supply of these to rotate through if you want to use them everyday. And they are relatively expensive, so buying several might be cost-prohibitive for some.

Also, the outer fabric, while cute is... well... fabric. So it can stain. Making your cute bag not-so-cute anymore. Also, it fades and shrinks a little, so the bag doesn't lay nicely after a while. Not huge deals, but worth mentioning. Your kids probably won't care.

If your looking to buy this for your kids, I would instead go with the Bumkins Reusable Sandwich and Snack Bag, Yellow, Large or Bumkins 2 Count Reusable Snack Bags, Blue/Green, Small. They are about half the price of the Itzy and for anyone who has used the amazing Bumkins Bibs, these are the same material. They are a breeze to wash, dry super fast and I've never had it hold a stain.

The prints are loud and garrish, but my kid likes it fine. Much more practical for busy moms (and dads!).

I have both the Snack Happened and the Bumkins bags, and I reach for the Bumkins every time.

Aubrey Organics - Natural Baby & Kids Bath Soap, 8 fl oz liquid

Aubrey Organics - Natural Baby & Kids Bath Soap, 8 fl oz liquidAubrey's Organics Baby Bath Soap is our favorite soap to put in our daughter's bath. It has that powdery fresh baby smell without chemicals and fragrances to make it smell that way. It contains soy protein, aloe vera, herbal extracts, and oils. Our daughter had been having issues with dry skin (probably from using the non-natural bath soap given to us as a gift), but I haven't noticed any dryness since we began using this soap a few weeks ago. It really does make her skin feel soft and smell so clean and yummy!!

I really like this soap, but I find I have to use a lot of the product to cover my adult body (granted, it's marketed as a kid's soap). The product is gently and doesn't dry my sensitive skin if used every other day (daily use did dry my skin). Too bad the product is a bit pricey and I need to use quite a handful of pumps to cover myself in the shower. The fragrance was gentle and not overpowering, although I can see someone who is sensitive to fragrances thinking the added scent a bit much.

This soap did it's job of cleaning baby. However, it seemed to dry out her skin. As an African-American baby, I realize her skin might be more on the dry side, but another product has done a better job of cleaning and moisturizing.

Earth's Best Organic 2nd Antioxidant Blend Apple Butternut Squash, 4 Ounce Jars (Pack of 12)

Earth's Best 2nd Antioxidant Blend Apple Butternut Squash, 4 OunceWonderful baby food. I generally make all of our baby food from organic produce from farmers markets. However, when on-the-road, I feel safe giving my son Earth's Best jarred food. They are organic, non-gmo, and don't have sugar or salt added. The Apple Butternut Squash is his favorite!

My son loves this baby food. Its a great blend of fruit and veggies. I give it to him for breakfast instead of just fruit he gets some vegetable in. The texture and consistency is good for stage 2.

I received the pumpkin apple instead of this product. The only mix-up I have had using Amazon grocery. They were very cooperative and gave me a product credit. It worked out alright as my son loves the pumpkin apple and the whole line of "seasonal" blends for that matter.

Goodbyn Leak-proof Dipper

Goodbyn Leak-proof DipperI needed a small container to carry EVOO based salad dressing in in my lunchbox. After reading many bento lunch sites and such this little container was highly recommended as leak proof for everything, whether oil or non-oil based.

So wrong. I'm glad I took the precaution of Ziploc bagging it for its first use. Put my 1tbsp EVOO and a bit of vinegar in it; sealed it; put in the Ziploc; sat it upright and braced it solidly in my lunchbag/box. Apparently just going up apprx 20 steps at work was enough to slosh the oil a bit, and boy, when I took this out to put on my salad, the inside of the Ziploc was coated with a fine sheen of EVOO.

This will probably work well for peanut butter, cream cheese, hummus and the like but not for oil based salad dressing.

Sprout Organic Infant Cereal Whole Grain, 7-Ounce (Pack of 3)

Sprout Organic Infant Cereal Whole Grain Oatmeal, 7.00-OunceI didn't listen to the other review but I should have. The item description says quite clearly that it is a pack of three but it is in fact only one pack.

I only needed one, of course. I'm visiting family for a few weeks, and had this delivered to my destination to cut down on packing & arrival frenzy. I was surprised to receive a pack of 3. Makes the $ better. The item arrived quopickly.

As for the actual product. We usually use Earth's Best. I think I prefer EB over the Sprout. This brand seems thin and it takes a food a,punt to make a thicker consistency.
