Chewable Jewels Circle Necklace (Pink)

Chewable Jewels Circle NecklaceI ordered this for my 2nd grade daughter, who has been sick constantly due to sucking on her fingers and shirt. I wanted to get her something to put in her mouth that wasn't as germ-infested as her fingers. Unfortunately, this didn't work because it was too big to fit in her mouth. It was kind of like trying to suck on a large chocolate chip cookie she couldn't get more than the edge in her mouth so she found it quite unsatisfactory. She wore it for about an hour, and as far as I know it's still in the backyard where she took it off and used it to mark the spot where she planted a pine cone.

I want to be clear that there is nothing inherently wrong with the product it seemed well-made and I liked the fact that the string's length was adjustable just be aware that it's probably too large to fit completely in a child's mouth and so may or may not fit your needs.

Weleda Baby Calendula Face Cream, 1.6-Ounce

Weleda Baby Calendula Face Cream, 1.6-OunceI bought this cream for my daughter, she had a very dry skin on her face, more like an eczema. Thanks to this cream, her skin is again "baby skin":). I'm very happy that I discovered welleda products. Also, with the diaper cream by welleda, we never had any kind of rashes.

I love all Weleda products for my baby. I use this cream for her face and other areas that need extra moisture. I also use it on her bottom when there's some redness, but no true rash. It clears it right up. It's a heavier cream which helps protect her skin from the colder air of fall and winter. The ingredients are all natural and of good quality, so she has not had any reactions to it. I think it smells a bit more than other baby products, but I like the calendula smell.

I'm in my twenties, and have acne-prone skin that's sensitive as can be, and dry as the Kalahari. Really. I may be the only person that when leaving my skin to it's own devices look as if I have a flaking sun burn all over my face. Attractive award over here everybody!

That said, I use this stuff both day and night after a gentle cleanse, and it's stopped the peeling look dead in its track. My acne has improved since using it, instead of the usual breaking out when I find a actually moisturizing lotion, and my skin is hippie-baby soft.

For somebody without skin like a desert, this may be too heavy for day use, but it makes a fantastic night cream. With my skin, I find that immediately after applying I am slightly shiny, but this soaks in within 5 minutes and just makes me look dewey. With a layer of mineral powder foundation over top, I am completely matte.

The calendula definitely comes through in the smell. Now, if you've never smelled a real calendula flower, it's in the marigold family, and has a slightly herby smell. I was worried that it would be off-putting to my tea-tree, rosemary, and similar scent hating guy, but he didn't even notice. It's not exactly a bad smell, and it does dissipate fairly quickly, but it is something to be aware of.

Now, if you are actually looking at this product for a baby, I'd actually recommend getting a tube of Weleda Skin Food, 2.5 Ounce and doing double duty as a cream for your hands and a balm for red chubby cheeks. I find it works just as well, and since I carry it around in my purse I have it at hand for wind chapped cheeks and scrapes.

I purchased this cream for my mom! She has actually been using this cream daily. I, myself, being a guy have found that is is great to for dry skin. It doesn't clog pores and does not stay greasy all day.

Even to use as a night cream it is too sticky for the face. it covers the face with the film and you will swet at the place you have covered with this cream right away :(

I use it for the feet now instead....

Smels like real calendula though...

Avent Bottle to Cup First Trainer (4 oz.)

Avent Bottle to First Cup Trainer, 4 oz, 4m+ 1 bottleMy now 18 mo old has been using this cup since he was about a year. He really enjoys it, and I think the technology behind it is pretty cool. Major problem with is that the flow can be a bit too fast for him, and he tends to get a water trickle by the corners of his mouth that go down his neck. Otherwise, it's super sturdy. My little guy has lugged this across the room many-a-times and it's still functioning pretty well.

Gerber Single Grain Rice Cereal for Baby 8oz

Gerber Single Grain Rice Cereal for Baby 8ozFor my allergic daughter this cereal is the best! It is very practical, the texture is good, it comes with zinc and iron which are nutrients required for babies and since I can not give her much of a variety of foods, I have to make sure the few things she can handle provide more nutrients than just calories.

EZ-Freeze Cereal on the Go

EZ-Freeze Cereal on the GoI am a college student and need to pack lunch two days a week. I pack my lunch at 8am, and the milk is still ice cold at 1pm when I eat lunch-in fact, last week I missed lunch and my milk was still cold when I got home at 4pm. I only wish that the cereal had a screw top, and that there was plastic in between the cereal bowl and where you screw the milk compartment on-when you unscrew the milk, if your unit tipped over at all in transit there is milk on the bottom of the bowl which can make a mess if you let it drip or put it down directly on the table. Bring a napkin to wipe the bottom as soon as you unscrew at lunchtime and this unit will be perfect.

This product is great. My daughter can eat her whole grain cereal either en route or at our destination, something that easily "gives us back" 30 minutes in our hectic schedule, and ensures we don't have to settle for a less nutritious meal on the run. (Now, on Saturday mornings when she must accompany me on errands, I can let her sleep an extra half hour, and know I'm not going to be late for appointments). Plus, I've figured out many more uses for it chilled yogurt and fruit/granola cup, chicken salad kept chilled at bottom with a room temp pasta salad in the top portion, etc. It's really versatile, and I highly recommend it for busy families. Apparently, we're not the only ones who think so. When I returned to my neighborhood Container Store to buy a second one, they had completely sold out. Thankful to find it available through Amazon.com, as I've not been able to locate any other brick-and-mortar retail outlet such as Target, CVS, etc.

I love this thing! I use it to take cereal to work. I have not had any problems with the milk leaking. Sometimes the milk gets slightly frozen, so I've started taking the container out of the freezer about 30 minutes before I leave for work and it stays cold but doesn't freeze the milk. The cereal compartment is a little bit small, but it's a good portion if you are trying to eat healthy. It holds about 1 cup of Cheerios, which seems small but it's the serving size on the box. I know that this thing is probably made for kids, but I've found it very handy. It is very easy to wash by hand so I can use it every day.

This cute little container is absolutely perfect for taking cereal and milk with me to work. I add my cereal and fruit to the bowl on the top and my milk of choice to the bottom and I have everything I need for breakfast. The top "bowl" easily holds a half cup of cereal plus a half cup of fruit and the bottom holds about 4 oz of milk. Those who are complaining that it is too small are probably used to eating well over one serving of cereal. I am trying hard to keep my portions in control and this container helps me to do that. I usually just fill the container the night before and leave it in the fridge overnight because I eat it right after I arrive at work and don't want to have frozen milk. The milk is cold from the gel having been refrigerated.

It is also great for carrying yogurt and fruit or cereal toppings to go with it.

And there is no mess if you use it correctly. Remove the cereal lid, take out the spoon, unscrew the cereal bowl and place it on the inverted lid..then add your milk. Any milk that may have splashed onto the bottom of your bowl is not on your desk...it is in the lid.

And for those who are concerned, I checked their website and this product is BPA free.

Enfamil Newborn Powder - 23.4 oz - 4 pk

Enfamil Newborn Powder - 23.4 oz - 4 pkCant beat this deal unless you have a coupon. Too bad you cant use a manufacturers coupon to buy this.

Our 3 month old son loves this formula, and we love that it has additional DHA. It is convenient that it is delivered to our door, but we have found the formula for substantially less at Sams and Costco. Also, go to Enfamil's website and register for their coupons. They send coupons for $5 off.

This is the formula I use every day with my newborn. I did a lot of price checking to find a good deal. It is cheaper on Amazon than all of the retailers online, especially with the Prime free shipping. The formula arrives packed well and in a timely manner. Good deal take advantage of it!

This formula was one of the few we found that is NOT soy based.

The baby drinks this formula without a problem, and when he drinks it at night, he sleeps for several hours! (love that!)

I'm not criticizing the product, but the price states that it $0.77 per ounce. I'm not sure how the calculation is done, but a 4 pack of 23.4 oz containers at this time (6/6/11) is priced at $94.99, which comes to $0.985/oz. That's a 27% increase.
