Holgrain Crackers, Rice, 4.5-Ounce Packages (Pack of 12)
My 4 year old grandson who has serious food allergies loves these crackers so much that he regards them as a special treat, and he can gobble down a whole box at one sitting. Normally, he eats very little, but give him these crackers, fruit, and cheese and he is a happy boy. He will eat other brands, but this one is by far his favorite. It is true that the crackers fall apart easily and don't have much taste for an adult, but if you have allergic children, give them a try. Somehow, they have great appeal.
For me these were thin like Kavali or other very thin European type crackers and
were great for cheese, fish salads or Tahini dipping you know when you don;t want the cracker
to overpower the topping. I am a HUGE fan of Mary's Gone Crackers, but these are for different use
those are for solo snacking, these are for holding things...Hope that helps someone out there.

I love these crackers!!!For many years I've endured a gluten free diet, and I've had sampled many many different types of rice crackers.
These are the best.
They are absolutely great for dipping, while other types of rice crackers will sometimes add unwanted "ricyness" to the taste, I have found that the lightly salted thinness perfectly compliments many dips.
I also eat package after package of these on their own, the nuanced nutty flavor with just a touch of saltiness is addictive.
How can you folks call it wood or cardboard?!

I love these crackers! So many gluten-free crackers, I haven't been able to stomach the taste of. These remind me of a gluten-free "Triscuit." They're crunchy, ridged, and nutty-tasting. I love topping them with cheese, or little bits of lunchmeat and mayo, or any other topping.I don't understand how people could rate them a "0," except by understanding that everyone has different taste. I think they're great. Much, much better than the circle-shaped rice crackers that are similar to communion wafers. (You know the ones I mean, if you're a gluten-free eater.)

Itzy Ritzy Snack Happens 2 Count Snack Mini Reusable Snack Bag
I purchased 3 sets for my 3 kids thinking, " Great! No more plastic bags!" They are very cute but not very practical. They are only good for maybe a day trip to the park or school lunches. We are military living overseas so we travel a lot and for long distances. These bags would not work so well since they don't keep food fresh. I repeatTHEY DO NOT KEEP FOOD FRESH!! Cookies, Cheerios, graham crackers, chips, etc all become stale after I would say 6 hours or so. We took a day trip to a small island by ferry for the day and by the end of the day all my kids snacks were soft and stale on the ferry ride back. :( Also, I forgot to clean out my daughters lunch box over the weekend and by Sunday night I found a snack bag full of moldy 1/2 eaten strawberries. I went to wash it out with warm/hot soapy water and saw that the moldy strawberries had eaten away at the inside lining causing it to crack apart. My fault for forgetting to clean out my daughters lunch box but it made me so mad that I had to throw it away. Money in the trash!! I gave it 3 stars for the design, the short term use for food, and the many other non food usages but still not what I was expecting. Hope this is helpful.

I absolutely love the Itzy Ritzy snack bags! We use them every day for veggies, fruit, cookies, crackers,chips, etc. (although they are best for fruit and veggies some crackers and chips get a little stale as the baggies are not air-tight, especially if not eaten the same day) I was so tired of throwing away the zip lock baggies we would re-use those too but these are so much better. We use the Itzy Ritzy baggies, wash them and use them the next day. We've had them for about three months now and they are still in great condition. Love, love, love them! I'm going to buck the trend here.These bags are very cute and stylish. They are effective if you want to reduce your usage of plastic baggies. I like how they are zipper and not velcro. They do a good job, for the most part, of containing foods, although, if you're trying to store something juicy (like cut up oranges), you might be pushing your luck as the moisture will gradually seep through and make the fabric outer cover damp.
If the only things you're going to use this for are dry snacks like crackers or cereal, you're probably fine just wiping the interior with a damp cloth after each use. And then once a week throwing it in the laundry for "deep cleaning".
But if you are using it for anything that is going to leave any residue (back to my original example of oranges... or chips which will likely leave some oily residue, PBJ sandwiches, you get the idea here) these are really not practical. Turning inside out and wiping the interior doesn't get it clean enough for me. You can do a load of laundry (but most people don't do laundry every day) or hand wash and submerge it in soapy water, but the fabric outer takes forever to dry. So you really end up having to buy a 2 day supply of these to rotate through if you want to use them everyday. And they are NOT inexpensive, so buying several might be cost-prohibitive for some.
Also, the outer fabric, while cute is... well... fabric. So it can stain. Making your cute bag not-so-cute anymore.
If your looking to buy this for your kids, I would instead go with the Bumkins 2 Count Reusable Snack Bags, Blue/Green, Small. They are about half the price of the Itzy Ritzy and for anyone who has used the amazing Bumkins Bibs, these are the same material. They are a breeze to wash, dry super fast and I've never had it hold a stain.

The prints are loud and garrish, but my kid likes it fine. Much more practical for busy moms (and dads!).

I purchased this for my son who has special sensory needs and tends to chew on inappropriate things and has smell aversions. I thought the scent would be nice and he could sniff it to block out other smells that are offensive to him. The necklace and style look nice and are more mainstream and less obvious than other chew necklaces. The scent is not even reminiscent of any fruit, let alone pineapple, however. It has a strange scent. It is better than the vanilla scented one, though. I also purchased that and my son gagged at the scent. That one really smelled like vomit. Seriously. So, it looks good but doesn't smell too good. I also have the unscented and that one was best for us. No problem with the seller, though. It actually arrived very quickly with no problems. Our daughter likes to chew during school. This works very well for her. It looks great and doesn't pick up dust or lint like many of the other chew jewels do. Looks so nice my wife wears it too! (she now bites this instead of her nails)
If I had only paid a maximum of $5-8 for this product, I'd be more apt to give it 4 stars, but I cannot believe such a cheaply made product costs $18+!!!! These are easy to wipe clean and stand up to big messes. The pouch is key to catching food that didn't make it all the way up to the mouth. I was super excited to see these at Safeway for only $3. I have seen them at other places for as much as $4.50 and the competitor, Happy Melts Yogurt Melts, on sale for $5. I have to say, go with the Happy Melts version. The Gerber ones lack the flavor and texture of the Happy Melts version and are actually kind of chalky and bland. Happy Melts are all organic and are smaller, which is better for your baby and for you. I prefer the strawberry flavor but the wildberry is also quite good. I think the way they melt in your mouth is quite similar to astronaut ice cream.

The suction on this bowl works well on our wooden table, but not so well on our 1-year old daughter's high chair. At first my husband and I thought we had found the grail of toddler bowls: a bowl that we even had trouble pulling up. Not so much on the plastic tray of girlie's chair. She didn't even have to experiment very long to be able to pop it up and dump it on the floor. It's harder for her when she sits at the table she does sit there and work at it until she gets it off. Even though this bowl (and the companion plate) have the best suction of any similar product we have tried, it is not proof against a strong, determined toddler.

The Boon suction products are great for toddlers! Mine is a big eater and started on adult food fairly young, but I was nervous about having plates thrown from the high chair. The Boon plates and bowls stick to the tray of our Fisher Price Healthy Care Booster without a problem. They're not glued down so I would still keep an eye on things if your babe is a thrower. Having these stick to the tray was an excellent way to teach a child how to handle eating like a big kid and to feed themselves before swapping in real dishes. The plates/bowls are also super easy to clean; no gaps between the plate and the catcher/suction cup for food to get stuck. If you need to cut food with a knife, I would recommend doing so on another plate since the plastic surface of these will scratch. However, they're not going to crack, shave or chip off unless you use a very sharp knife with a good amount of pressure, which you wouldn't be doing anyway. This is a nice idea and it's cute, but so far I have not been able to get it to stick to anything for more than a few seconds. Kinda defeats the purpose when your grabby toddler can yank the whole thing right up and spill everything onto the table/floor.
Dr. Brown's Bottle Warmer
We originally purchased a Philips AVENT iQ Bottle Warmer probably mostly cause it looked cool and had pretty buttons. However when our little guy was born, we immediately realized it was a trash design, and I ran out and bought this one.The Dr. Brown warmer is an amazing peice of engineering. It's not over thought, yet well thought out.
Features you will care about:
#1. The cord wraps up under the device so that it doesn't hang out everywhere
#2. It uses Steam to warm the bottle. Exactly the same tech as the Avent.
#3. The buttons are easy to press and work very much like a microwave, so no confusion and zero learning curve.
#4. The blue light screen can be seen from pretty far away and in the dark.
#5. The warmer shows a visual count down in terms of time. So you know exactly how much time you have before
it is done.
#6. The extra water container is a life saver, as you can replace water and clean the machine only once in a few uses
rather than every use. Particularly useful when you're half asleep and only have enough energy to press the buttons.
#7. The warmer's top isn't latched or safety locked. This is actually also a good idea as again...
it makes for one handed operation easier.
#8. The warmer is surprisingly stable even for it's height. It doesn't shift around when you press the buttons.
#9. The removable basket can be flipped over to reduce the warmers depth so that shorter bottles ( like 4 oz) can be easily removed/ reached.

Why buy a bottle warmer? To save precious time while your hungry baby is crying and needs attention (like a diaper change, for example), and also to ensure consistent, safe heating of the milk/formula without guesswork. (All is doubly important in the middle of the night or when grandparents are watching your baby).First we tried the Avent model with our newborn, and it works fine, except it's not easy to use. You have to fill with water each time, plug it in, choose bottle (vs. jar), choose to heat from room temp or refridgerated, then choose how many ounces (which is itself multiple button presses). Even after doing this 8 times a day for a month, I would still make mistakes sometimes! Too many button-presses, too much chance for error!
Dr. Brown's model is SIMPLE to use. Insert bottle. Press one button. Go back to crying baby until it beeps! The bottle warmer remembers your settings -this seems SO obvious considering you will probably be warming the same size bottle hundreds and hundreds of times. I can't tell you how valuable that simplicity and reliability is for something you will be doing 6-8 times per day (and night), under stress, for many many months!
As many people mention, the reservoir is not terribly obvious how to clean, and over time will probably develop some mineral or mold/algae buildup. That sounds scary, but keep in mind this water is not comming into direct contact with the milk, and yes it CAN be cleaned (see below for some tips). That said, I tried to "improve" mine by sawing off three sides of the top of the reservoir (to make a hinged opening) so I could easily clean it with a normal bottle brush. Ooops -that doesn't work -the reservoir needs to have a sealed top to make a vaccum or all the water just spills out at once (and I have an engineering degree... oops).
CUSTOMER SERVICE: I thought it would be a long-shot, but I called the 800 number on the Dr Browns website. SHOCK #1 A human answered the phone right away. SHOCK #2 She was helpful, friendly, and offered to send me a replacement reservoir, free of charge, no questions asked!!! She also provided a bunch of tips for cleaning it. She even called me back later in the day to double-check she had the right address. I could not be more pleased with the customer service!!!
RESERVOIR CLEANING TIPS:
1. Each time you refill the reservoir (about every 3 -5 days for me), wash with warm soapy water and let it dry before re-use.
2. Fill reservoir with vinegar and hot water and let soak for a while. Then shake, empty, and rinse.
3. If there is still residue clinging, try adding a bunch of dry salt to the reservoir and shaking vigorously. (The salt is abrasive and grinds the residue off).
4. (From another post) Similar to salt, you can try using dry rice in the same way
5. (From another post) Similar to the vinegar and water, you can try using baking soda and water to loosen the residue.
6. (From other posts) A number of people use the skinny brushes that come with Dr. Browns bottles to reach into the small opening and directly scrub the inside of the reservoir. I tried this at first, but couldn't get enough scrubbing leverage. Some people report success by bending the brush in various ways.
Bottom-line: This is the best bottle warmer I have seen and it will save you enormous hassle. Plus the company's customer service is such a stand-out that I was inspried to write a review (which I very rarely do). Especially when dealing with products that intimately touch your baby's health, it's nice to buy from a company that cares. Thank you Sherry at Dr. Browns!

I am a first time mom and am using Dr. Brown's bottles. We had been running the bottles from the frig under hot water before giving them to our little one. I saw this item and knew I had to have it. It is hard to hold the baby in one arm while swirling the bottle under the water with the other one, checking the temperature, etc. Now when I hear my little one start to fuss and I know it's feeding time, I put the bottle in the warmer, go change his diaper, and by then it's all ready for him. So I have never posted a review but I thought I should on this item. At first I loved this bottle warmer b/c I didn't know any better. But now that we have a new one, I realized how bad this one is.CONS
it warms with hot spots
mold built up in the water reservoir and the warmer after 2 months (and I cleaned it often)
it broke 5 bottles

-don't have to fill it with water each time
So basically there is a water reservoir on the side that heats up every time you use it. based on what type of bottle you use (glass/plastic) and how cold the milk is, depends on how much time you put in to warm the bottles. this took a few days to figure out. HOWEVER, it seems to warm the bottle to extreme temps and not warm the milk evenly. also, we took the milk out of the fridge, put it in the bottle and then the bottle warmer. 5 bottles broke. i wasn't too upset about the bottles breaking but i was very upset that i lost about 6 oz of milk each time! this stuff is like gold, i don't want to lose a drop! i think since it warmed the bottom so much, the contrast between the cold milk and the warmer broke the glass -but isn't this what the warmer is for...to heat milk out of the fridge??!?!?
also, mold built up in the water reservoir after 2 months. i cleaned the unit often but i think b/c there is water in there all the time, it built up this residue/mold....gross
so we bought the phillips avent. the disadvantage is that you have to fill it with water every time (this takes about 5 seconds) and dump the water out ever time (another 3 seconds). however, it warms the milk evenly and we haven't had a bottle break yet! i am much happier with this product!!

They are not treated with anything, no fillers, no lacquer. They recommend disinfecting their toys in a pot of boiling water for 2 minutes before giving them to a baby (just as you would disinfect a pacifier.)I decided to get the pendant because I have been curious about nursing mom's jewelry, and hated the look of silicone beads everyone is selling now. This pendant seemed like an ideal solution.
I am really happy with it. The pendant has a very smooth finish, especially on the edges, and the size is great, not too large or too small. The bird silhouette is cute. I wear it 24 hours a day! My son holds it while he nurses, instead of repeatedly snapping my bra, which was very annoying. He loves to chew on it. I like that it is always with me, so I can occupy my son any time, especially while we are out.
The pendant is pretty and stylish, it doesn't look like a teether. I have gotten quite a few compliments on it. The best part about it? I will continue to wear it even after my son no longer needs it. His little toothmarks on the wood will always remond me of this great time. I would highly recommend this pendant.

I just bought this, and the heart shaped pendant (same company) for my 7-month old twins. I bought them because they want to eat my regular necklaces. This is a pretty piece of jewelry, my boys enjoy playing with the shape when I'm holding them, it fits nicely in their hand (probably about 3 inches from beak to tail) and I guess it feels nice on their sore gums because they like chewing on it. They are cutting their two top teeth, and everything goes right in their mouth. No faces, so I guess the taste is good. They also enjoy turning the necklace around and playing with the tied end, that would normally go behind my neck. This is also a godsend for nursing; I tandem-feed them, and they are constantly poking at eachother's faces, so this gives them something to play with while they're eating.
