OXO Tot Divided Feeding Dish

This is my favorite feeding dish without question. The dish grips onto the table top very well and it is very nice looking!

The dish comes in three parts; base dish + lid + curved ring to help scoop food for toddlers. The three parts easily come apart for washing in a dishwasher (top rack).

Several minor comments... Because the lid secures onto the base dish, it doesn't provide enough room inside the dish to fit ice cube sized home made frozen foods. I think either the lid should have been designed to go on top of the ring, or the dish could have been designed deeper to accommodate the ice cubes.

Having said all of this, I own three feeding dish fro OXO TOT and I use it daily. They are my favorite. If you have a baby who loves to feed themselves, this product is a must have!

I was very excited about this product and all its features and was willing to give it a try even though it was an expensive container. I take my toddler to a babysitter every day and I pack her food, so I am always looking for good containers with lids. This product fell short. The container is small, and holds very little food. Maybe this is good for a 4-6 month old baby but certainly not suitable for a lunch for a 12 month old. I freeze my homemade baby food in ice cub trays, and you cannot even close the lid because it is not deep enough for an ice cub. However, my biggest complaint about this container is that the lid does not actually stay on. It will not close tight and her food spilled out on several occasions. We use this at home, but can no longer trust taking it in a lunch bag for outings or day care. On a plus side, the gripping bottom is pretty neat, and I do like the rim feature, it makes it easier to get the food out with a spoon.

Another great OXO product.

The bowl comes with a cover (not pictured) that fits over and protects any leftovers while traveling (no spills!) or in the fridge. The guard piece comes off for easy cleaning.

The bowl itself has a nice rubbery bottom that keeps it on the table, and the division in between the two sides makes it very easy to hold while keeping little hands out. The round sides help get the last couple of spoonfuls.

A little pricier than some of the take and toss types you'll find, but it's worth it.

This dish is perfect for beginning to feed solids to my baby. Its the perfect size, doesnt slip and is very easy to wash. Its great for one side oatmeal/rice and the other fruit/veggie. We use it every single day, I just ordered another one!

As other people have said, the container does not hold a lot of food... BUT this container holds the PERFECT amount for my 6 month old daughter. In other, larger containers, her small portions are wasted by sticking to the sides.

I use one side for cereal and the other for fruit/veggies. I currently freeze my baby food in ice cube trays, and I put 1-3 frozen cubes (per side) into the OXO Tot Divided Feeding Dish to unthaw in the fridge. The dish is BPA free and has a lid to keep the food fresh while it is unthawing.

My dish is always dirty from being used so much, so I just purchased another one. Even thought is a little pricey I highly recommend getting this. It is much better to have a few dishes that you love rather than a cupboard full of junk. I intend to use this for snacks when my daughter is older.

Gerber Graduates Yogurt Melts - Peach

I was super excited to see these at Safeway for only $3. I have seen them at other places for as much as $4.50 and the competitor, Happy Melts Yogurt Melts, on sale for $5. I have to say, go with the Happy Melts version. The Gerber ones lack the flavor and texture of the Happy Melts version and are actually kind of chalky and bland. Happy Melts are all organic and are smaller, which is better for your baby and for you. I prefer the strawberry flavor but the wildberry is also quite good. I think the way they melt in your mouth is quite similar to astronaut ice cream.

It was a really yummy treat. it melts in your mouth and the size is just right for him. Unfortunately, he got rashes from this. Apparently, he is allergic to yogurt =(

Philips AVENT BPA Free Breast Milk Storage Set

These bottles can be attached to the Lansinoh Double Electric Breast Pump 1 Count using the Avent Breastpump Conversion Set. You pump straight into the bottle that your husband or babysitter uses for feeding your baby. No fats and/or vitamins lost during the transfer of contents from bags or other containers. I chose this bottles because they are BPA free.

I switched to Avent from Playtex drop ins. I had 1 Avent bottle and i noticed my son took to the nipple, so i bought a few more and after a few weeks i noticed he NEVER spit up anymore. So i made the complete switch and i even bought an Avent ISIS iq double pump too. Best decision i have ever made.

Now the thing i noticed, is the Avent bottles that have the 1 piece and even the ones with the 2 piece anti-colic valves tend to sometimes leak... even when done correctly! My son would get halfway through a bottle and all of a sudden it would just leak! drives me crazy!

I dont know if its just luck or not, but these have not leaked at all!!!!!!!!! I make sure i use these instead of the regular 4ox or 9oz bottles. these in my opinion are waaaay better!!!

UPDATE 12/27/2010: Recently had a few minor leaks, minor because i caught them at the beginning of the leak. I dont know what it is with avent... its not at the beginning of the feeding, but more towards halfway through! The ring is not too tight, but tight enough... its leaked with new AND used nipples, and yes, they ARE snapped in correctly, and i read a trick to make sure the vents are where the rings are on the collar, and it still does not help. But my son loves the bottles.

I recently started to use the born free bottles... and the avent nipple fits in the collars! These are still perfect for storage, but if i am going out i transfer to born free.

I've used these several times now--and they don't leak. I can shake breastmilk as vigorously as I want--there is still no leakage. They are also easy to clean--wish the mouth was a little wider so that my hand can get inside, but it is wide enough (46 mm inner diameter) and short enough (4 0z bottle is 82 mm from interior base to top of lip) that I can get a sponge in there without a struggle, making a bottle brush unnecessary. This is the cheapest, non-disposable, volumetric, BPA-free, wide-mouth milk storage solution that I have found--perfect for taking expressed milk to daycare. I liked these so much that I just bought more. Note that these bottles are a little honey tinged, but that is just a property of the BPA-free plastic that Avent uses.

I got a couple of these sets when my baby started solids. I made her food and froze them in these bottles so I could just take one out and put it into the Avent food heater and serve. Very convenient. no leaks. Works very well with the Avent system since the pieces are interchangeable. Baby's food stayed fresh in the freezer until eaten. Happy baby. happy mommy.

I purchased these bottles for my son's daycare use since they reheat the bottles. They work just as well as the regular Avent bottles except they have the slight yellow tint to them so that you can tell them apart. I picked this set over other BPA-free Avent sets b/c I didn't need the nipples I just needed the bottles. I like having the extra sealing discs, though. I was unable to find these in a store, so Amazon was a great option.

Janod ABC Buggy Baby Walker

We ordered this for our son's first birthday. He loves it, and it's a cute wooden toy. The screws have to be tightened all the time (he plays really rough with it) but other than that it's been a great purchase.

We ordered this item and received it. The wheel fell off. We returned it, got a different one, and then the wooden dowel in the front was broken upon opening. Terribly dissatisfied in this product.

I loved the smaller cubes so when she started eating larger portions, I bought a few packs of these. Excellent. Ella's Kitchen Baby Cookies, 3.8 Ounce (Pack of 5)

I bought two boxes of these at a local Target and both boxes had cookies that had moldy spots all over. I contacted the vendor and told them about the issue and they responded that it was probably nothing more then an isolated incident. When I responded with photos and additional information about the quantity of bad cookies and over different boxes they responded by saying they would send coupons for future purchases. I never received them but then again I was not going to buy any more given the experiences I had. Shame because I liked he taste and individual packaging oh the product, and so did my child.

The cookies have a good taste but my 8 mo old would choke on them. The cookies are soft and break apart easily. With 2 bottom teeth he does well with other things like the gerber puffs but even if I feed him few bites at a time he would have trouble swallowing. Will have to wait until he has a few more teeth before I'm comfortable giving these to him.

Just as the other reviewers said, this product also crumbled for us, too. First off, I think the product is too small for the age it is intended for. It's better to have one twice the size of this, so they can grip it better. They soften up far too quickly, and soon turn to crumbles. My 8 mo old son is gagging quite a bit with this. Not thrilled.

I am surprised that their products are meant for babies! I found it awful that while sucking on their bars they would break in pieces and then not dissolve without using my "adult" molars. I bought these biscuits based on all the great reviews on amazon. I was so excited to receive the product in the mail. It was well packaged and got to my house with out any problems. My baby was around 4.5 to 5 months at the time. She didn't really like the biscuits and hated using her hands to lift them up into her mouth. I just figured that she didn't like the flavors or she didn't like the texture. Sadly, I put them a way for a few months and just recently pulled them out again. I gave them to my baby and she went absolutely nuts over them. So now at 9 months, I get major protest from baby if I even try to take them away. She loves them now. So my thought is that she matured a little more and is now able to enjoy the biscuits.
