Happy Tot Plus Organic Baby Food, Strawberry, Kiwi, Beet & Pear, 4.22-Ounce Pouches (Pack of 8)

Happy Tot Plus Organic Baby Food, Strawberry, Kiwi, Beet & Pear, 4.22-Ounce PouchesIt seems every baby company has these pouches these days but no one has them that include SALBA, which is a super-grain that is so nutritious and good for brain development. I know I'm not alone in having a picky toddler (2 1/2) and struggles to get fruits and esp. veggies in him. This is a perfect way and the there is never any forcing! He goes crazy for this flavor with the strawberry, kiwi, beet (how else would a 2 year old eat beets??) and pear.

I love to freeze them at night and use as a "slushy" the next day as a pool snack!

This is one of my preschooler's favorite pouches. He loves strawberries, but is normally not such a fan of beets or kiwis served on their own. However, he LOVES the flavor of this pouch and I love that he's getting foods that he normally wouldn't touch. I also like the fact that these pouches have extra nutrients from salba and choline. We like to use these pouches in popsicle molds in the summer yum!

We just received our shipment of these today and between my school age daughter, toddler son, and myself they are almost already gone!!! I love that they contain the fruits but also sneak in a vegetable(beets) that my picky eaters would never have touched otherwise!! Stacked up against all other organic toddler pouches these are by far the healthier option for my children. They contain the Salba to help get the Omega-3s in and also Choline which I have been reading so much about it's health benefits lately. I believe that this company stays in front of the curve when it comes to providing optimal, organic nutrition and for that reason my family has become loyal customers.

With all the pouches out there they all start to look and taste alike. But these are awesome! The combo is super yummy and I love that it has Salba. My 2 year old loves them and my 5 year old even thinks they're a treat.

My 2 year old goes crazy for these pouches. I have to hide them in the pantry or else he seeks them out and will throw a tantrum until I open it for him. Flavor combo is great. I love that there are beets, strawberries, kiwi and pear! Having these organic pouches handy have been a life saver this summer. I keep them in the pantry and the freezer (great cold treat on hot days). I love that it is organic. Buying all these organic fruits and veggies individually would be a fortune. I love that my toddler can enjoy organic fruit and veggies with the convenience of a baby food pouch.

The First Years Indigo Stroller

The First Years Indigo Stroller, Black/GreenI just got this stroller in and wanted to post a review for those who are contemplating buying it but can't find any reviews. That was me not too long ago, but I decided to take a chance anyway. So glad I did! First off, the ease of putting this stroller together made it worth it. I didn't even have to take out the directions. Snap in the wheels and the seat and your good to go. Second, the frame is very lightweight and the wheels are larger so turning and maneuvering through tight spaces is a breeze. The wheels are even big enough to take it to the beach, which we plan to try out in a few weeks. The whole stroller is also very narrow, though the seat is really roomy. The narrow frame makes getting around tight spots and into narrow door ways quite easy. The seat held my 10 month old, 23 lb baby boy and there was lots of room to spare. The seat also adjusts so he can sit all the way up or recline for a nap. The basket is large enough for a diaper bag and a few other things. I like that the access is from the front and wide open because it makes getting things in and out a lot easier. The parent "tray" is actually a canvas material that has a zipper pouch for storage (big enough for my wallet and iPhone and a diaper) and 2 cup holders and 2 other compartments for keys and such. A lot of thought obviously went into what other strollers lack when this one was made. To fold it, the seat snaps right off and the frame folds flat and takes up very little space. This would easily fit into a car trunk and fits into my SUV without any problems. My son LOVED the fact that he could face me while we stroll along and I can sing to him or make silly faces and he doesn't get upset about having to sit in a stroller. This was our issue and the reason I wanted a parent-facing stroller. The bar across the seat is great as he holds on to it and uses it for teething. Everything on the stroller that is canvas comes off for washing with snaps, so looks like that would be easy to do. The material on the bar zips off as well for washing. We have the red one and I love this color. A little darker than the picture and better in my opinion. Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend this stroller! I would have paid lots more for the same one and there are ones on the market that have similar looks and features for triple the amount!

Pros:

Lightweight

Easy Maneuvering

Parent or Outward Facing

Folds Flat

Big Storage Basket

Comfortable Seat for Baby

Large Canopy Shade for Baby

Very Useful Compartment "Tray" for Parents

Big Wheels

Great Color

Cons:

Removing Seat to Fold (You can fold with seat but it makes for a much bulkier fold)

That's all I can think of for now. As I use it more, I will update with more information. You won't regret this purchase!

When I first saw it I fell n love, it is a very attractive and modern looking stroller.

I've had this stroller for a month and a half, and I had to edit me review. I've had too many issues with it for just having had it for this short period and using it gently. From the begining the wheels made a screeching noise, I put some wd40 and didn't help much and after a week had to oil up again...like I mentioned before it only helps lower the screeching doesnt stop it. The rubbery handle is already coming off and won't last long before it rips off in pieces. The seat feels wobbly, my baby is 15 lbs I don't forsee this being sturdy for a 30 lbs baby let alone a 50 lbs kid, like it says. Trust me no one more than me wishes that it was the perfect stroller, but unfortunately you get what you pay for with this one :(

Now, I need to see how I'm going to return it and get something better.

The First Years Indigo is a great lightweight stroller with 3 different modes (front-facing, parent-facing and bassinet mode) which is reasonably priced!

The stroller weighed in at 22 pounds.

The color is gorgeous it's a bright happy red. It makes quite a statement and fellow parents seem to admire it. It steers like a dream indoors and outdoors. You can literally push it with a finger. The front wheels rotate 360 degrees so it turns on a dime. It accommodates children up to 50 pounds and 40 inches.

It accepts the following car seats: First Years I450, First Years I470, Graco Snugride, Snugride 32, Snugride 35, Chicco Keyfit and Keyfit30. It comes with a bumper bar, a parent console and a car seat adapter in a cute black bag.

Dimensions:34.5 x 23.5 x 41 inches

Here's a summary of the pros and cons:

Pros:

Easy to assemble (clear instructions)

Three positions front facing, parent facing and bassinet mode

Reasonably priced

Steers like a dream you can push it with a finger

Very cool-looking

Accepts various car seats

Seat can be removed to be used as a snap-n-go type stroller frame

Easy to fold and unfold

Easy to rotate the seat between positions

Basket is huge and easily accesible

Feels sturdy and stable

Easy to adjust harness (easy to close and open as well)

One-handed steering

Comes with parent console which can hold drinks, keys, cell phone, bottles

Seat can be pretty upright or very reclined

Adjustable legrest

Extendable canopy

Mutiple recline positions

Wheels feel substantial and well made for non-air tire wheels

Adjustable leg rest

Cons:

Seat could be deeper (it would not be a good stroller for really hefty/big kiddos)

Manual says basket should only hold 5 pounds (although I have put lots of groceries in mine)

Seat is made out of plastic material, not fabric (fine by me easier to clean)

Harness could be more substantial

Somewhat wide fold with seat (I did not fold it without the seat)

Canopy is somewhat limited

Stroller will not last past age 3 unless you have a small/short child

The fold is not as compact as an umbrella fold, but is more compact than the fold of an air tire stroller. I did notice that the back wheels seem to wobble a little in rougher surfaces, but the movement does not affect the steering or smoothness of the ride at all so it did not bother me. The wheels are large enough to ride over bumps in the sidewalk and the stroller does not get stuck at every bump and crevice. In my opinion, the ride is pretty darn smooth for a non-AT stroller. The stroller seems very stable.

The seat has 3 recline positions (bassinet/flat, reclined and upright). I would probably add a blanket or a snuzzler for a newborn when using the bassinet to make it more comfortable

I took the stroller to a nearby drugstore and loaded the basket. Tons of room. Very happy with it. It steered beautifully among the aisles and my son seemed happy to be higher off the ground (compared to our other strollers).

All in all I would say you can get great bang for your buck by getting this stroller for an infant and using it until the LO is about 2.5 or 3 years old (depending on height)! It will not be as smooth a ride as an air tire stroller but is a great alternative to an umbrella stroller or traditional stroller. It is also a good alternative for parents who want the parent-facing feature without having to spend lots of money on a Bugaboo or similar stroller.

I would definitely recommend it to friends and family! Love it so far!

ETA: The wheels are a bit squeaky after use outside, so you will need silicone spray. First Years will have to work on this issue.

Although I had been using this stroller and loving it more each day, I started having trouble with it very soon. The wheels would squeak really bad and I would oil them every day. That isn't such a major problem, but I called The First Years, and they sent me a replacement stroller. I was using the replacement stroller for about two weeks, when, as I had expected, it started squeaking as well. I was resigned to the fact that I'd oil my stroller daily, I still loved it and so did my baby. However, after about two weeks, while pushing the stroller in a park, the plastic piece on the frame came apart, making the stroller unusable.

As usual, The First Years provided great customer service, and sent me yet a new one. Four weeks after getting the new one, my third stroller had the same problem again with the plastic piece. I've since returned the stroller for a refund and gotten a Graco Literider. Although it doesn't have the modern styling, I know that I can rely on the superior quality of Graco to get us through several years. Even though I miss the Indigo, I've had enough of The First Years, and do NOT recommend this stroller.

If there is an interest I will make a video review of this product. It's an okay strollerbut I thought it had suspension because of a previous reviewer. It does not. I took it to my dad to impress him and he told me (he is a car mechanic) that it does not have any type of suspension. The canopy is sooo tiny that it's useless and has no "peek-a-boo" window. My son's feet already reach the bottom of the footrest and he is 29" tall wayyy below the supposed 40" height limit. The wheels measured up are actually about the same size as my Kolcraft snap and go. There is no snack tray. There is no bar to push so both the brakes go on. The handle is not height adjustablebut at 5'4 I can tolerate the height. It does turn on a dime, but does not glide easily over grass/gravel like the Kolcraft contours does. The stroller itself (without the seat) will fit into the trunk of my vw beetleso that's a plus. But like another poster said a canopy extension is necessary for this stroller. If it weren't for my beetle I would get a Mia Moda Atmosferra it's more but has bigger wheels (so I am guessing it is as smooth as the kolcraft contours stroller) a huge canopy that covers the whole baby (and has a peek-a-boo window) and cup holders/snack tray. Also my wheels are squeaky as hellso bad that an elderly couple walking behind was commenting about the loud squeaking and what could be making that noise.

If you have any specific questions you can feel free to email me @ and I will answer. I am posting my email address because choosing a stroller was an agonizing process for me and I had sooo many questions that went unanswered until I actually got the thing.

EDIT

5/22/10

I have had the stroller for about a week now and feel different about it. I still am disappointed that the stroller doesn't have a large canopy or a window. But now after taking it for a few walks and oiling the wheelsand after getting a canopy extension it has grown on me. The back of the seat is 4 inches taller then the Kolcraft Contours and the Mia Moda atmosferra. I have never tried the Kolcraft Contours on the grass so I can't say the Contours is better. From what I have read none of them are that great on the grass unless they have air tires. But I can say that the stroller frame itself is wayy more stable then my combi, although the seat does bounce around a bit when going over rough terrain.

Nuby "iMonster" Snack Keeper

Nuby 3-D Snack Keeper, MonsterWell, the heading says it all. My 16 mos. old son loves it, he is not afraid of putting his hand in he figured out quickly that there are crackers/cheerios inside. He actually likes to pull them out and share with us very kind of him. He can hold it upside down and no cheerios fall out.

The rubber "teeth" are *a little bit* stiff silicon but my son does not mind it. It helps to prolong the process of eating snacks -it takes an effort and time for him to eat all the snacks. We used it at home and in the car.

The hands twist around; the top and bottom of the body twists around but stays together it is not a removable lid; there are no removable parts as far as I can tell.

Great $5 spent.

**** Update apparently it is a two piece item it was dropped down very hard on the floor and came apart not broken, not cracked, but we now know that it comes apart -which is probably good if I ever decide to wash it. It was easy to snap the two pieces together and it is still in daily use. The eyes are starting to fade.

I have to love any product that helps me keep food off of the floor with two toddlers and the three dogs they love to "accidentally" feed. The teeth are really soft and rounded, so there's no scraping when little hands go in there. It's also able to withstand trips in the dishwasher which is SUCH a plus for me! I'm going to be getting more of these for a friend who runs a daycare just to help her with keeping the playrooms cleaner.

My 21-month old son already has 3 snack containers, so he technically doesn't NEED a 4th... But this snack container was so darn cute that I just had to get it for him! Plus it helps differentiate his snack container from his friends' containers (they all have the same ones, which leads to much confusion and many fights). But now the problem is that ALL the kids want to eat snacks out of this awesome monster snack keeper!

Great idea, very cute. The problem with this product is that the rubber teeth are to stiff and my 14 month old granddaughter has to work to hard to get her hand into the snack keeper and once she grabs the snack she cannot pull her hand back out.

Want Nuby "iMonster" Snack Keeper Discount?

This product is too tough for toddlers to use, the rubber teeth are just too inflexible and the mouth is too small! If you do get ahold of your treat you can't actually pull it out. It's not child-proof but people-proof!

Sprout Organic Baby Food, Roasted Pears (Stage 1), 3.5 oz. pouch (Pack of 12)

Sprout Organic Baby Food, Roasted Pears, 3.5 oz. pouchAll of the Sprout brand baby foods we have tried so far have been a big hit with baby, but this is his favorite (of Sprout brand or any other). He tries to grab the pouch & the spoon as soon as he gets a taste, and is grunting for me to feed it to him faster. I also really appreciate that there are no additives here it is just pears.

I am not really big on the pouch design because when they are little & not eating entire pouches early on, it is a mess to spoon out & reseal leftovers. It is also difficult to get all of the food out because of the way the pouch is designed. But since it is baby's favorite, I am still giving it 5 stars.

Baby Chef Ultimate Baby Food Maker

Baby Chef Ultimate Baby Food MakerBasicly, this device does an excellent job at making baby food and every new parent should seriously consider getting it. It does however, have a few minor flaws. If you skip to the end of this review, I'll detail a list of pros and cons. Otherwise, read on for a detailed description of how it works and where some minor issues lie.

-----------------------------------

My wife and I use this device all the time. To cook the food, you place what you want steamed in to a slotted cup, pour in a "guestimated" amount of water, put the vented dome on it and press start. This thing cooks by heating a little hot plate in the water resevoir and just continuing to boil away until there's no more water. There's a clever little catch pan to keep all of the water from just falling back in to the hot plate compartment. This catch pan can and does overflow, especially if you're cooking "wet" foods such as yellow summer squash. So the water resevoir really needs a wipe down after every use. Not a big deal, the plastic and the metal hot plate are both easily cleaned and debris doesn't really stick to them. So the steam function requires a little playing with to decide what water amounts work best for different foods, but it works quite well. The box and manual both claim that the steamer compartment can also function as a bottle warmer. They lie! Technicaly, this works. It just works very poorly. It tends to take far far too long and the water resevoir needs emptied when you're done. This requires unplugging the device and hauling it to the sink. Just skip this feature all together and you'll be much happier.

---The blender. This side is essentially just a Magic Bullet that's been repackaged. You have to be carefull about adding liquid to the stuff you've steamed. This little blender, much like a full sized blender, is going to struggle on thick substances like steamed sweet potatoes. Just add water or milk if it's struggling and try not to expect too much out of the little rubber clutch that spins the blades. A lot of reviews on this sight make a complaint about the gasket or the clutch not holding up. I'm not sure what these parents are blending, but I'd be willing to bet that they are simply overburdening the blender. Take it easy and this thing's going to last.

---As a side note: USE ICE CUBE TRAYS!!! So the wife and I tried some cheap, disposable 2oz plastic containers to store our food in the freezer. They'd shatter very easily. We started looking at various baby-specific food storage and were rather aghast at the prices. Well, my wife read a review which suggested dishing the food in to some ice cube trays and just emptying those in to labeled ziploc bags. This little tid-bit of information has saved us countless dollars and headaches. Now we just load a few cubes in to a bowl, maybe even mixing and matching, and zap that in the microwave. Yes, we check the temp and have found that about 1min 15sec is perfect for 5-7 cubes. Now for the review breakdown:

--------------------------------

PROS:

---Steams quickly with a "set it and forget it" feature that lets you walk away.

---Has a catch pan in the steamer that lets you add the nutrient-rich drips back in to the baby food. Yay!

---Beeper lets you know when steam resevoir is empty and automatically turns off heating element. You'll want to wait another minute or two, letting it cool.

---Entire device is rather stain resistant and foods wipe off with little to no scrubbing.

---Blender is fairly sturdy and, providing it has enough liquid, blends food to a smooth consistency quickly.

---Blender cleans easily and is dishwasher safe.

CONS:

---The amount of water needed for each food is a bit of an art. There's plenty of room for error. Under-steamed? add water and go again. Over-steamed? lesson learned, baby will still eat it. You learn quickly, so this is a very minor complaint.

---There should be warnings about not making food too thick. If you try to run the blender with thick foods, you will break it!

lastly...

---THIS IS NOT A BOTTLE WARMER!!! regardless what packaging and manual may say, this is a terrible feature and is only added to the labels to make the machine appear more impressive. I'm providing a 5-star review anyway, because I love this thing and pretend that this feature doesn't exist. If you do the same, you should be quite pleased with this product.

I was making my 6 month old food the old fashioned way, steaming it on the stove and then running it through the blender. Problem with this is you cannot get rid of the chunks on some food, you have to babysit the food while its steaming and washing out the blender was a pain. This is an amazing machine! I can steam my fruits and veggies, meats, pastas, blend them til they are smooth(no chunks), warm breastmilk for daddy to feed him and thaw and reheat the baby food I made...all in one machine! The clean up is a breeze-wash with soap and water! It takes up little space on the counter and it is a nice looking machine too. With the price of baby food these days and not knowing even how to pronounce some of the additives, this is a great investment. You know exactly what your baby is eating. No preservatives needed...just make and freeze(or make as needed-its fast). I have ziplocks full of cubes of food in the freezer. I am having so much fun making the food my husband asked where we are supposed to put our food since 2 full shelves in the freezer are full of food and bottles...lol! But we have a happy, healthy baby boy and you cant replace that feeling of making and feeding your baby wholemade food.

The first time I used this machine, I was making a banana and formula puree, it busted. The rubber seal wrapped around the blades.

The product sounds very promising. I would love to have a working one. However, I called Kidsline and they told me they would need to talk about it and get back to me. What?! They never called back. So, I called Amazon who had me send the machine right back for a new one or a refund. Thank you Amazon! I will take my refund!

The product may not be a zero or a 1, but Kidsline is definitely a zero in my book. I will never purchase another Kidsline product for fear I will have to deal with costumer service!

First off, for those that had the rubber band problem... it's a really easy fix. Just inspect your product before using it. If the band is not fully snapped in, run your finger over it and it snaps back into place.

Now for the product review: pretty good stuff. I like that it's one system for multiple uses. Previously, I was steaming veggies on the stove in a steamer basket, then processing the food in the big food processor. It seemed like a lot more work with all that stuff. With the Baby Food Maker, I can do all the same things without the hassle of wrestling with the big processor and big stock pot. Still the same amount to parts to clean up but the mess (because let's face it, making baby food gets messy!) is much smaller.

The only complaint I have is that I'd like to make a large batch of food all at once and freeze the excess and with the Baby Chef Ultimate Baby Food Maker, you can only make about 3 servings at once. But that's really a minor detail.

Overall, I'm really happy with it and happy to use it regularly.

Want Baby Chef Ultimate Baby Food Maker Discount?

We've had it for several days now and I have to say I was skeptical. No more. It works, and it works well. Compact, simple to use and clear instructions included. Tested it out right off the bat with a batch of carrots, about ten minutes later popped them in the blender portion and bingo! Good blend, great consistency. I've used it to warm up bottles as well and it works well at that.

Pros:

Well designed*

Easy to use

Good low/no water safety feature in the steamer portion

Compact

Great idea for the small ring as a handle on the steamer section, saves you from the hot plastic when removing the cover

Cons(suggestions really):

*maybe a better way to drain any excess water from the steamer portion

A way to add liquid without disassembling the entire blender container, minor minor issue

Doesn't make my youngest like carrots. BAH!

KidCo Food Mill

KidCo Food MillI registered for this because I remembered my mom grinding my "baby" sister's food 20+ years ago. I figured it could not hurt to have.

My little one is almost 1 year old and still doesn't have teeth. She gums things very well, but meats are a little harder to tear apart. (Note, this was great when we started solids... it mashed bananas and took the strings out of sweet potatoes to give them a smoother texture than just mashing with a fork.) We're introducing her to meats slowly, and anytime I've tried to give her canned commercial meats, she has scoffed at them and pushed them away. Well, tonight she eyed my pork chop jealously, as if her cooked mixed veggies were not enough. I ground up between 1-2 ounces and added some water to it to smooth the texture, and she LOVED it. She could have eaten more, but she had plenty to eat in addition to the meat. Although it took a little longer to grind the meat, I did so sufficiently.

This grinder washes up well.. I rinse it off, take it apart, and throw it in the dishwasher. I have had no problems with this grinder. It does it's job as well as I would expect any non-electrical grinder to work. I wish I had the tote, but a ziplock baggie works fine.

I would also like to add that I had to contact Kidco's customer service regarding finding replacement hardware for a baby gate, and they were prompt and professional.

I love this food grinder. It is great because it travels well (to restaurants and outside events) and doesn't need electricity and is great for the home too. This is a great way to use the foods you are already preparing for your baby's meals and a great way to save money from baby food sold in the jar. Growing up we had two of these because my sister was handicapp and could only eat pureed foods.

Please note that this grinder is to be used for first foods (not chunky foods). Because fruit and vegetables naturally have a lot of water some of them might need a thickener add (i.e. Thick-it) if you find it too watery. Also foods with a lot of fiber or meat may need be harder to push through this is a manual grinder. I find it useful to add some broth/soup/gravy to meat after it has been ground to make it more pleasing to eat.

I also recommend Ellyn Satter's books "How to Get Your Kid to Eat ... But Not Too Much" and "Secrets of Feeding a Healthy Family" for guidelines on how and what to feed children.

The first food I wanted to use was broccoli. It would work wonderfully, then seemed to get jammed, work again, etc. It does work, but with more effort than I had expected. I tried preparing the food to be softer, but I encountered the same problems. I tried nectarines another day, and it made it very soupy. I guess I wish there was a way to adjust the mechanism to grind the food to different consistencies. My 9 month old son can handle chunkier foods, but with this mill the food is very liquidy. The size and minimal amount of parts/assembly make it very convenient and very easy to move. Also the entire mill can be cleaned in the dishwasher.

Every time I pass the baby food display in a store, I think of how many millions of dollars parents could be saving, if they would just make their own baby food, rather than paying top price for those cute little jars! I take every opportunity to tell parents about using a hand baby food mill. The $10 I paid for my baby food mill was definitely one of the best investments I ever made! I purchased it for my first of six children, and just LOVED it! I found that it was much, much more convenient than a blender, for several reasons. A blender is fine for preparing large batches of baby food to freeze, but not a bit practical for making a single serving for your baby. The blender is much more difficult to clean, not very practical to take to the table, and it is difficult to get all of the food out of the bottom of it. The noise of it doesn't make it especially handy for table use, either. The hand grinder is perfectly quiet, makes use of every bit of food that you put into it, and can be taken and used anywhere! It is very handy for feeding the baby out of, directly, and the parts are easy to hand wash or can be thrown in the dishwasher. Also, it is very easy to feed the baby some of the same foods that you have prepared for your whole family. The food does not come out pureed, like with a blender, but I found that my babies preferred to have a little texture. It can be used on almost anything except for hard, dry foods, like chips, or taco shells. Many harder foods, like fresh apples, should be diced first. Some foods come out better with the addition of a little water or other liquid.

My grinder is in retirement now, after 14 years of use, but it is still in good working order. I am saving it for the day when I will have grandchildren to use it for! I just can't say enough good about it, and hope that many parents will try it. It makes an excellent baby gift, too!

This isn't the best for babies under 6months... it doesn't get foods as smooth as the step 1 foods you buy in the store. But keeping that in mind...

This comes in very handy. I started grinding foods in this with my 6 month old. It is easier for me to grind some food for him right at the table so he can eat some of the things we are eating, rather than prepare and store his food in advance.

I decided that one isn't enough. I prefer to run things through the dishwasher so they are more sterilized than washing by hand and I tend to use this for two meals a day. I don't like to feel pressed to load and run the dishwasher before dinner... It usually isn't a problem, but things are hectic at times. Its also nice to have one clean for traveling.

Nuby Easy Go Section Bowl with Spoon, Colors May VaryI usually use 2 small glass bowls for feeding time. This bowl solves my problem of too many dishes to wash, and not enough hands to carry 2 bowls, a spoon, a bib, and a burp cloth. I found that most partitioned baby dishes are plates. I needed a bowl, as it is more feasible for feeding a 10mo. Love this and I will probably be ordering another.

I'm so happy that she likes since its veggies and juice in one cup. The reason for leaving this review is because I am on Amazon looking for juice in bulk to see if its cheaper.

This juice is one of my baby's favorites. I used to buy the 4oz bottles but this is way cheaper. I like the fact that 4oz gives her a serving of fruits. The max amount of juice that babies should drink in a day is 4oz, so I fill up a bottle with equal parts of water and juice and let her drink it with her meals throughout the day. In between I also give her plenty of plain water.

When my much older children were little, Gerber sold a sweet potato juice they loved! Go Vitamin A! Gerber has changed their offerings many times over the years giving this particular item ingredient and name changes. My daughter adjusts to the changes, but will prefer this juice over all others. And now when her friends come over, they leave telling their parents, "I love carrot juice!" Unfortunately fewer and fewer stores are caring the item as the Gerber line continues to change and update . I was so glad to find it still available on Amazon. Try it. I think you will be surprised and your own child's response.

ZoLi BOT Sippy Cup

ZOLI - BOT Sippy Cup 6oz - PurpleI bought two of these straw cups for my 7 month old daughter and they are great! She learned how to suck out of a straw without me ever having to "teach" her and loves these cups. Personally, I love the safe plastic and the fact that the weighted end of the straw keeps the straw in the liquid no matter how they have the cup turned.

The one concern I had about using a straw cup instead of a traditional sippy was possible spilling. But even when she has it turned upside down it hardly ever leaks. Maybe a few drops of water here and there, but no big deal. The end of the straw that baby drinks from is almost solid, but with a few slits cut in it. So baby can easily suck liquid out (no special biting the valve or anything) but it helps minimize spilling.

This cup is great and has survived being thrown to the hard floor many times.

**Update: Some leaking issues and a solution:

My daughter is now almost 14 months and these cups are still my first choice. However, I have had a few problems with them one cup cracked on the bottom (but my daughter does bang them around a lot) and I've had more leaking issues than I had hoped. First, ZoLi was great and replaced the broken cup with no questions asked (and it had been many months since I purchased it). Second, I figured out that the top "mis-threads" really easily. It's hard to even tell that it is not threaded properly unless I look at it from the side because it will feel like it goes on right, but is actually a bit crooked. When I fix this and am really careful to thread it levelly, I have no leaks.

Delilah would not drink from a regular sippy so I decided to go the straw route. She loved this sippy and so did I. She picked up on how to do it immediately. I love the straw on this cup. It is very flexible and not hard to drink from and the weight at the bottom is fantastic. There are 2 very large downsides! First one is they are not easy to clean. You have to get a special brush from Zoli to clean it appropriately and I would not put the top into the dishwasher. Second (and this is a biggie in my opinion) they are not durable at all! I believe if you are going to design a cup for an infant/toddler it must be able to withstand a few throws now and then...not this cup. The top cracked after about a week. I contacted Zoli and they immediately sent me a new cup...unfortunately that one cracked as well. I will definitely give Zoli customer service a 10 in customer satisfaction!! They sent me 2 replacement cups, a replacement kit which consisted of 2 extra straws and the aforementioned cleaning brush! So far the new 2 have not cracked but I am not holding my breath. I am giving this cup 3 stars mainly for the customer service I received and not the cup itself. Although you can feel good knowing if something does go wrong with the cup they will take care of you!

First of all, it is a decent cup. The small size combined with easy-to-hold handles make it a great choice for little hands. The weighted straw really does get almost all the liquid out, which is a nice change from some of the other cups out there (hint, hint PLAYTEX!!!) that leave a 1/4 inch or more in the bottom.

Unfortunately, the cons have outweighed the pros, in our opinion. First, the straw is kind of a pain to get out and put in. It's made of some sort of stretchy plastic/rubber/silicone/whatever so that when you pull it to get it out of the lid it just keeps stretching. You really need small fingers to grasp the straw where it meets the underside of the lid to take it out without risking snapping the straw. Similar problems exist when putting the straw back in the cup. It stretches when you pull it through the hole in the lid. The key is wiggling the straw as you pull to prevent it from breaking.

Second, it leaks. No, it's not a huge amount we've definitely seen worse. However, for $15 we don't want to see leaks at all! The problem is that liquid does not go back down the straw into the cup when the child releases suction. It remains in the straw. As soon as the straw is tipped and touches something (ie your carpet) the liquid is released from the straw and comes out, creating a mess. Again, it's not a huge mess when it leaks it's just something to keep in mind.

Third, the price. In order to pay this price for a child's cup, we expect great things. However, the cheap 2-for-$7 Munchkin cups give about the same results. This cup just isn't worth it. We have found, for those interested, that the Vital Baby Straw Cups (about $5 each) are EXCELLENT.

This is filled with juice however, the product does this with any fluid at all. I don't give my son soda so, unsure as to how the product would respond to that. I really wanted to love this sippy as my son is in his "straw phase." It seems like such a great idea. The great effort it takes to clean the straw would be worth it IF it actually WORKED and didn't ruin most of my furniture. For some reason the mechanism on the bottom of the straw which, in theory sounds amazing, pulls fluid up into the straw and then pushes it out. It actually empties itself. Ridiculous. I contacted the company and the email was polite and insinuated that I might have a defective one. Since I had bought both the green and orange one, I decided to try the other out in hopes of saving this idea as my son does love the cup. I'm now off to rent a carpet shampooer and to research how to get water stains off of my brand new wooden tables. Thanks Zo-Li.

I thought the idea behind the cup was ingenious. My 1 year old took to the straw immediately and I was relieved to finally find a sippy cup that she would use. At first I only used water and it was fine. Then I started to put milk in it and like other posters have commented on, it started to leak. I was really frustrated because I didn't know why milk was coming back up the straw and making a mess. My instincts where to screw the top tighter and that just made it worse. I discovered after a couple of days that if I left the top looser, the pressure would lessen and milk would stop coming up the straw. When I say loose, I don't mean so that the top doesn't stay on. Instead, just screw the top on but don't force it tight. Liquid will not leak from where the cup and top meet if you tip it over AND it prevents the pressure from building up inside the cup and spilling from the straw. We love this cup!

Munchkin High Speed Bottle and Food Warmer with Pacifier Cleaning Basket

Munchkin High Speed Bottle and Food Warmer with Pacifier Cleaning BasketThis thing does the job, and we have no real complaints.

The beep is loud, but it bugs me more than baby.

It does develop brown gunk in the bottom after a while, and we use distilled water in it.

I accidently noticed that If I add water and bring it to a boil, that it dissolved all the brown gunk.

Then I shut it off , swirl the hot water around, and carefully dump it into the sink and it's clean!

Its much easier to clean it that way, than to try to wipe the brown gunk out of it.

I received this used from a friend (who has a 3 year old) and have been using it for 5 months. It works great! The reference card tells how much water to put in, and the bottle is warmed perfectly! (We use Dr. Brown's glass bottles, and have had no problem).

Minus one star because You MUST clean it once a month with the vinegar solution or else the heating element gets gross. (1 oz vinegar to 4 oz water, let sit.) Of course that may be because ours is several years old.

True, the beeping is loud, but since we have it in the kitchen I can throw a bottle in, then run over to the bedroom and change the baby, and still hear the beep, so for me, it's perfect. I'm going to buy another one for visits to grandma's house, as well.

This bottle warmer heats bottles well, but at the end of the warming cyle, it beeps for about 30 seconds....LOUD. I purhcased this to use in my son's room, as I prefer to keep everything for his middle-of-the-night feeds close by. Not this! The alarm, when it goes off, echoes through our condo and wakes up the baby in the other room. If i could find a way to silence that thing, it woudld work great. As it is, thumbs down.

This product was nice when it worked. It worked ok for about 2 months and then the beep alarm would go off at the wrong time. Now, the beep starts right when it's plugged into the wall.

I LOVE this product. The design looks good and it comes with a laminated reference chart that slides in the back of the unit so you know how much water to use each time. It warms my bottles perfectly and I use the NUK 5 oz. and some evenflo's. I've only overheated one bottle and it was my fault (I accidently put double the water in the chamber). The unit does beep when it's ready...but I'm not sure why some reviewers hate that feature so much, It's not the least bit annoying to me. In fact...I start the bottle, run in for a diaper change, hear the beep, and know it's ready! The unit does build up brown gunk in the bottom after several uses, but as long as you clean it per the directions, it's fine. I highly recommend this product!

Eco Baba - Stainless Steel 12oz. Baby Bottle (Black)

Eco Baba - Stainless Steel 12oz. Baby BottleBought three of this stainless steel bottle, one of them has a stain inside of the bottle. It looks like a solder mark, not good for my baby. returned to Amazon.

The biggest issue with me for this bottle is that it does not have a measuring mark on the body telling you how much the water/formular it has before and after. My daycare teacher was complaining this. they could not know how much my baby drink.

issue 2: the nipple does not support ventalation. my baby does not like to suck on it, tried with other brand nipples, still not well fit.

issue 3: Although the body is kinda cute. it is too fat, it can't fit into my Avent bottle warmer.

issue 4: I belive saw similar complain on another user review, the bottle still have a little rim area touch with the plastic body of the bottle. Why it can't be made with 100% stainless steel?

I am currently using another brand of stainless steel baby bottle. it is very nice!!! solve all the issues I reported here. In case you are interested, do some research and you will know which I am talking about.

p.s. The two left bottles now served as storage bottles, when I made some fruit flavoured water, I used them to store it in the fridge, not a bad choice.

With the serious issues and concerns related to plastic bottles, I am so grateful to have an amazing alternative-not to mention it's environmentally friendly! My grandson's milk doesn't come in contact with any plastic, and I can pop them into the dishwasher. They don't leak in the diaper bag either! What a great product, thanks Eco Baba!!

I love the idea of this bottle, I love the shape and the feel and the look. Unfortunately, when my son tries to drink from it the nipple collapses. We were using a vented system before this bottle and after some research I found some tips to help avoid the issue don't tighten the ring too much, it may take babies some time to transition if they are used to a vented system, etc. The sippy option, possibly a better choice for my son, wasn't available from Amazon at the time I ordered. Anyway, I emailed Eco Baba and and was surprised when I didn't hear back for some time I was disappointed and initially gave the Eco Baba a less favorable review.

As it turns out this is a family owned and run business and the owners spent considerable time locating my order and finding me after having issues accessing my information through Amazon. So I received a lovely and very responsive and concerned call tonight. We discussed the size of the nipple (level 2 comes standard) and transition form a vented system to a non-vented system. She explained her own experiences as well. So I still love the idea, shape, feel, and look of the bottle, my son has adjusted his drinking style a bit, and I am very happy with Eco Baba's customer service. And since my son hardly uses a bottle any more I will try the sippy option.

I received the bottle as promised within two days. The only reason I give it a 4 is that the nipple that came has no ventillation so I had to cut a hole with a knife so that the milk would come out. I went to walmart and purchased some nipples with a vent already in the nipple and they work fine. Im quite happy to use a bottle that wont leach chemicals into my baby's milk. Great product

I have this gripe about their marketing and nothing against the food.

Belle's Biscuits Gluten Free Blueberry Teething Biscuits, Bag of Six

Belle's Biscuits Gluten Free Blueberry Teething Biscuits, Bag of SixNo one will think "Pack of 6" means 6 pieces of biscuits. A customer has pointed out this on 10/2012, the seller replied "We totally understand how that wording was confusing to you. We will update the title today", but nothing changed. For this reason, I could only give the seller 1 star.

When our little one started teething she was so miserable. Nothing seemed to make her feel better. I searched the stores over for teething biscuits but didn't find anything that lasted or that made her happy. Enter Belle's Biscuits... Our little girl LOVES these and so do we! Unlike others, these really are teething biscuits. She can sit and constantly chew on a half piece for 45 minutes. It relieves the pain and pressure, which makes her a much happier baby. She seems to really like the flavors as well and I like that they have a few to choose from so she gets a variety in those long teething spells. We usually break each heart in half so that helps them last longer. They do make a mess on her face, hands, and outfit but it can't really be avoided and if she feels better that's what matters. I've found that the best thing to clean up her hands and face with after she's done are the boogie wipes. Just one gets everything off pretty easily and that way I'm not scrubbing on her face and hands. I highly recommend these, especially if you have a little one that has painful teething. I am SO happy to have found them!!

I had been looking for teething biscuits for sometime now....ordered another brand off amazon will never order those again my grandson was able to break them and put small pieces in his mouth and potentially cause a choking incident. The biscuits from your location are absolutely perfect for his tiny 5 month old hands and he just absolutely loves them. I will be ordering more soon somewhat pricey but worth it!

My baby is 7 months old and maybe wasn't as ready for these biscuits as I imagined. He's got 2 bottom teeth and is very able to get chunks off these biscuits! The pieces take a long time to dissolve/break down in his mouth, but he handles it better than I would expect and he can't wait to dive in for more. He has tasted a wide variety of foods and I've never seen him get so excited about any of them. He LOVES Belle's Blueberry teething biscuits especially after they've been in the freezer for a bit. Even though I have to watch him closely, they're exactly the cure for little man's teething pains!

Belle's Biscuits are fantastic. My eight-month old granddaughter LOVES them. They are safe and really ease her teething discomfort. We freeze them to extend their shelf life and she enjoys them right out of the freezer. Prepare for a mess, though; after an hour gumming these delicious biscuits she and her seat need a thorough washing! The only thing that would make them better is if they were eligible for free Prime shipping!

*Multibuy* Pack of 4 White Terry Towelling Popover Bibs

*Multibuy* Pack of 4 White Terry Towelling Popover BibsThese bibs are nice and thick

White so you can bleach them

Non-velcro is good for babies who pull off their bibs

Neck hole is not too big or too small, they are stretchy

Length from bottom of the neck hole to the bottom of the bib is 7 in. After washing it loses 1/4 in.

These bibs are longer than any velcro bibs that I have bought. I have pullover bibs that are too big in the neck hole, for now anyway. Food gets where the gap is. The trick for me to getting off a pull over bib is folding it from the bottom up to the neck and tucking it in a little then pulling it off avoiding getting food on their face or hair (if it's not already!)

I already bought more after trying out the first package.

Bibs are made very well. They are durable and can be thrown into the washer with bleach for easy cleaning. The over the head style protects our little one's clothing very well. Use these bibs at home and at daycare.

We are at the stage of drooling so we go through bibs a lot. And we have all kinds, all trade marks but none are like these to be honest. I have had carter`s, loveable friends, iplay`s, gerbers, and i dont know which else ... but these beat them all.

With this bibs the baby is completely covered, all around. Front part, shoulder and back. Since they turn their heads a lot, its a good thing cause they wont get wet when the bib moves to the side. Also another great thing is that it didnt get those fuzzy balls in the drier. No matter what i would do, it would always happen with the other ones. And it still does. But these kinda resist it, At least for now. Also the fabric is awesome. I love the terry, soft and absorbent. And our guy loves to lick them :-)

Great bib for a great price. I do recommend this product.

I would definitely get more ... and for the shipping part, it was fairly fast considering it travels from the UK.

Wish we could have used these earlier. Kids are 5-6 months old now and the head hole is way too small... Otherwise, the quality and style are nice. Too bad we weren't able to put them to good use so we will probably gift them.
