One 18 oz (510 g) Organic Whole Grain, Kasha

The product is hard to find in the US stores and more of a novelty in the States. The flavor is superior to non-roasted buckwheat (IMO). Coming from former Soviet Block, where buckwheat is very common, it is good to find this on Amazon. The small downside is that it has little more than expected kernels' skins. Did not find any small stones or anything as oppose to non-roasted buckwheat from Red Mill.

It is an okay cereal. It has tiny grains after being cooked, which I am not fond of....I like more of an oatmeal consistency. It doesn't have much of a taste, especially in the way of being roasted.

I will finish them off by mixing them with my steel cut oatmeal and not bother to buy them again.

Green Sprouts Warming Plate

Just as a rebuttal to other reviews: the plate does stick well to the surface, but you have to flip the suction ring first, so that the wide side sits on the table surface. For some reason it arrives with the detachable ring attached upside down (perhaps for easier packing?). Otherwise it looks cute and holds heat well.

Within 5 seconds of placing this plate in front of my 1 y.o., she detached it from her highchair tray, even though I moistened the suction per instructions. Another problem with it is that the suction portion is not attached to the plate, so it can also be easily removed. The warming feature is nice, but can not fully drain heating water through small fill hole and worry that mold may grow inside.

After 37 years we have a baby in the family again. Needless to say I began looking for items that are familiar from the past (whatever happened to TV booties, by the way??), and among those was a warming plate. I was delighted to discover this Green Sprouts plate, and my granddaughter is happy with food that stays warm to the end.

I use distilled water to fill the reservoir to avoid mineral deposits, and find this dish easy to clean and drain.

I had not seen one of these warming dishes in years so I had to get it. It is so convenient for warming up baby food that has been refrigerated. I don't put baby food in the microwave since the portions are so tiny and burn so easily. Just put hot water from the tap in the bottom of the plate then put baby food in the sections on top and in a couple of minutes baby food is warm and ready to eat. The cap seals tight. I have never had any leaks of hot water. I love this plate and may get another one!

I had a warming dish for my 13 year old grand-daughter and also for my own five children. So when I started watching my newest grandchild I wanted this dish for her food.

Crocodile creek Animal Placemat Animalabc

This flimsy mat came with a large sticker (product information) right on the face of it. This sticker is close to impossible to remove because of the glue used and the flimsyness of the mat itself. I cannot get the sticker completely off no matter how much scrubbing.

I was disapointed in how flimsy the material was.

As it is for children to eat food on, I expected it to be able to be a little durable. Instead the color and drawings came off after a few scrubbings.

Do yourself a favor and buy something that is made of plastic this is like cardboard that has been run threw an ink printer.

The mat is very cute. My 2 yr. old son enjoys using it. My only complaint is that it's a little flimsy. I had expected a heavier mat maybe with rubber on the back but this is just thin plastic.

My son loves this placemat, can't get enough of the animal images, and it cleans up easily. All of which are wonderful.

My only complaint, and the reason this doesn't get 5 stars, is that it is so thin it began curling after the first use.

It has curled up on all four sides, which is very frustrating, but we still use it at every meal because my son just adores it.

If they offered a version that was thicker (say 1/4 inch thick) and could still clean up easily I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

Heck... if they did that I'd buy a half dozen! All in all the design and durability are great, just be aware that it will curl on you.

If you're OK with that then this is a great palcemat.

green sprouts 6 Ounce Non-Spill Sippy Cup

I bought one of these at a local store and it worked great! Then I bought two more online and they leaked like a sieve. The original one was good for a while, but eventually it started leaking too. Not the quality I expected from a cup that costs twice as much as the competitors.

I thought this was so cute, but the design came off in the dishwasher and its not spill proof at all. Just an fyi.

At first I held it and it had to be very full for him to be able to use it but it didn't take long before he was drinking by himself. Sippy cup is cute and very durable. To help my little guy get used to it we just let him play with it for a while and he loves banging it around. The lid stays on great, sometimes too good. I struggle to get it off and almost end up with liquid all over me. Luckily we've only put water in it so far. I like that the spout can fold down but if I want my kid to learn to use it we have to keep it up. Of course then he plays with it and turns it upside down and it leaks... A lot. So not a good first sippy to try but probably will be great once he's older and knows how to use one.

Planet Wise Sandwich and Snack Bags

I purchased two of these wraps from another company online and am about to purchase several more since so many of my friends have admired them and want some as well. My husband and sister were skeptical about a sandwich wrap, but have since been won over :) They are functional and adorable and save a lot of garbage going in to landfills. I use them primarily for traveling or when I know we will be eating somewhere that we could use a placemat. That is one of my favorite features of this type of sandwich wrap over the bag style. You open this up and have a great placemat for you or your little one to eat on. Also much easier to get a sandwich into and out of that the baggie style. For snacks, however I prefer a bag with a zipper or another type of container. The wrap concept doesn't work well for us with snack foods (except again, you get the placemat benefit).

A word to address the previous reviewer's concern about the fabric. I have never washed these with hot water and I don't think planetwise advised that. We wash them in very warm water and hang to dry. We've had them for nearly a year and they are in perfect condition.

I love the concept and use the snack bags from Planet Wise and other companies. They sent me two of the Owl's Wraps and neither of them worked well for me. After I hand washed them in hot water the cloth side shrank. Then when i went to wrap a sandwich in it, it bubbles up all over. After wetting in cold water and working the material I got it to be better, but way too much work. As cute as the owl's are I'd prefer function over cutest ditch the fabric and give me reusable plastic/PUL that I can wrap my sandwich in.

This barely fits a sandwich, I really have to squeeze and almost smash the ends of the sandwich to make it fit. I just really wish they allotted a little more space....even if just an inch. I can't imagine fitting anything other than a sandwich into this bag because of the velcro closure. I think any fruit with minor juice leaks would spill out of the velcro. I do like how one side is clear. I like to hand wash and air dry my resusable bags after each use. This bag doesn't dry as fast the Bumkins, but does dry faster than the Itzy Ritzy.

We got this bag because some folks in the household like slightly messier sandwiches. Regular reusable bags don't contain the moisture so it can get messy in the lunch bag. This bag has some sort of liner (sorry didn't check the description so I can't describe it other that leak proof) that keeps any moisture contained in the bag, yay! It wipes out really easily at the end of the day and dries in no time on the drying rack. Or you could throw it in the wash and just let it air dry (because of the liner we haven't tried drying it yet). It's a good size sandwich bag, we can fit either a bulkie roll or a regular size sandwich in the bag with no issues. Probably would not accommodate a sub roll or hoagie very well.

Although a little pricey for a snack bag, it is GREAT quality, with velcro that goes across the entire lip (whereas other bags often just have a couple velcro dots) to keep all snacks inside. The inside is easily washable, plus the owls are SUPER CUTE!

I absolutely LOVE the Vital Baby freezer pots! They are awesome. I just freeze my homemade baby food in them, and take it out to thaw the night before usually. They are small and convenient and fit right into a small bottle cooler with a bottle and some spoons. I love these for taking our baby food with us to babysitters, because it is already portioned out and you can feed it right out of the container.

Or if you want to freeze and thaw a different way. They have an awesome silicone bottom that allows you to easily 'pop the frozen food out'
