Heinz Farley's Rusks, Original Flavor, 300g Boxes (Pack of 6)

Heinz Farley's Rusks, Original Flavor, 300g BoxesNormally I ask relatives to bring these over from the UK for me when they're coming to visit. Sadly I ran out and my 11 month old can't get enough of them, so fortunately I found them for a great price on Amazon. Perfect teething rusks, you can also mash them up with breast milk, or formula and feed them that way. I always like to have some in my diaper bag for curing teething pain these really seem to help.

the best baby cookie there ever is. i don't worry about my daughter choking on broken pieces because it simply melts in your mouth. tastes good too even my older son loves it.

My parents fed me these rusks as a baby, since then ive moved to the US and had my own child. My kid HATED the rice cereal stuff that they have out here, however LOVES these rusks. I fed them to him last night and he just yummed it up fast!

Great product, a tad pricey I think but worth it.

Excellent Buy.

I grew up on this British baby biscuit and was SO happy to find that Amazon sells it (my Mum was sending it to me by post!). As a child and even now as an adult, I loved/love dipping it in milk (only briefly, so it doesn't dissolve). It's only lightly sweet so it's perfect for young kids instead of snacks that are loaded with corn syrup. It's safe for a baby who is teething because it dissolves rather quickly on contact with liquid (saliva) though, for safety, you should still always be close by when the baby is eating it. Only snag: have a vacuum ready to suck up the crumbs after eating!

My little boy always HATED baby cereal. I tried everything different brands, making it thick or thin, rolling it in balls and coating it with Cheerio dust. Nothing worked until my pediatrician reccommended Farley's Rusks. The rusks are baby food made into a biscuit form. My boy has been eating "cookies," as he calls them, for over a year and loves them. With 1/5 of the daily iron he needs how can you go wrong?

Nuby Milk Powder Dispenser

Nuby Milk Powder Dispenser, Colors May VaryWith my first daughter, I had tried a different brand. After the first day in the diaper bag, I had 4 feedings worth of formula all over EVERYTHING in the bag because it didn't seal tightly. I went with the 4-oz travel "tubes" of formula, which aren't exactly cost-effective unless your baby is eating 4 oz or 8 oz at a time.

Right before my second daughter was born, my mom found several gently-used baby items at a garage sale, one of which was this dispenser. I was skeptical after my experience with the other dispenser, but after trying to take the whole lid off I realized just how hard it was to open. This is a good thing! It keeps it from spilling in my bag and keeps my toddler from opening it. The spout cap is easier to open than the whole lid, but is still snug enough to stay closed. If you try to take the whole lid off while there's powder in it, you do have to be careful, but I don't find myself doing that a lot. Usually, I open it when it's empty, fill it up, and use what's in it before I open it again. I haven't had any issues with powder leaking over into other compartments, but I've always twisted it to the middle of each compartment. If you look at how it's made, the lid/spout is curved, so if you don't get it mostly centered, yes it's going to spill over. However, because of the tight fit, if you center it, it doesn't move/twist from movement in the diaper bag. The seal is worth the split second of effort, imho.

I have been using mine for 2 months now (and that's after getting it secondhand) and it's worked great for me. With daycare and overnight trips to grandma's house in the near future, I will be buying a couple more of these.

While others (including my husband) complain about how tight these tops are, I prefer them. I never have to worry about them opening in my messy diaper bag. With the right touch, they are not hard to open, but appropriately tight to avoid messes.

extremely hard to open! I ended up with formula all over the dinner table at a restaurant bc I couldn't get the part opened where the formula comes out! had to get my hubby to open it to get the formula in (and I'm not weak!!) and the little tab used to open it broke...3 days after we started using it. would definitely not recommend this product, save your $4!

We don't use these for formula, but we used them to portion rice cereal to add to my son's milk for a few weeks to try and help his reflux. That didn't work, but we tried a few brands of dispensers and these are my favorite. Most of the portion comes out easier, whereas with the Munchkin brand about half a teaspoon to a teaspoon stays in the container. The little lid doesn't snap back like the Munckin ones, but I hold it back when pouring so it doesn't get in the way. The lid rotates easily so you don't have to take the lid off and move it to the next section. These are easy to clean, easy to use, and seem to be well made. We'll be using these for snacks in the future-great for keeping a variety of snacks in one container!

No spills stays on tight, even on the go. Highly recommend. Bought this based on other reviews saying the same, but haven't tried any other brands, no need to now. I have 3 now.

Munchkin: Fresh Food Feeder

Munchkin: Fresh Food Feeder Colors varyI just bought a pair of these for my baby and their functionality is superb! My baby holds them easily, and loves eating with them.

BUT they are near impossible to clean! Bananas are the worst to get out! I have rinsed and turned inside out & rinsed, run them through the dishwasher, and cursed at them. I would throw them out if my daughter didn't love them so much.

In the dishwasher, they catch crumbs and keep them, so the only way I have found to sanitize them is by first handwashing (10 min), then boiling for five minutes.

These are great for babies, but weigh them against the amount of cleaning frustration you are willing to tolerate. Also note that some foods are a lot easier to clean out than others anything stringy will have pieces twisted and wrapped into the mesh, so bananas, citrus, celery, and skins of any sort will give you a headache.

I've had this a few weeks and finally tried some bananas in it. My son LOVED it. He cried when we were done with it. I thought it was great because he could actually feed himself with something (he's 6 months) while I ate my own lunch. He got all the bananas. We tried frozen and fresh and both were a hit.

Now, they are still sitting dirty downstairs. I have tried scrubbing with a sponge, my hands, turning them inside out, using the sprayer, putting them in the dishwasher, dumping in boiling water.. i cannot get them clean. THere is banana all over them. I am thinking of calling Munchkin to get a new pair and just not using banana in it. I love the idea. Maybe grapes or something would be better. I still recommend trying this out, and if you find a better way to clean it let me know because i want to love this product!

With a small ice cube tray, you can freeze baby food and give it to them...... it helps SO much for teething, and also you really don't have to struggle to get them to eat! My son didn't even need to be taught how to use this! I was amazed and he's been using them twice a day for two weeks now! It's been a teething life saver as it helps keep him from being too grumpy. LOVE this, must buy

This product is genius and it doubles as a teether. Our baby frequently flips it around and naws on the handle. We use fresh organic pear and frozen organic strawberries, blueberries & raspberries (the cold is great on the gums). It is challenging to clean and would just say mush up your bananas and feed with a spoon this doesn't work well with bananas. Pear comes through the mesh very easily along with the berries. Our little one loves this and it's a treat for her. This is a must have for all new mamas and a very cheap purchase.

*Baby may initially reject because of mesh but express some food out and they will love.

*Great for teething babies.

*Great transition from super pureed foods but before lumpy foods (this makes the food have some texture).

*Can be difficult to clean but just buy a baby tooth brush to get into all the nooks.

*Buy it, it's wonderful!

hi, just wanted to make you aware of a hazard on this product. the Munchkin fresh food feeder that i purchased had a small piece of different colored plastic on the locking part. this came off while my daughter was using it and she started to choke on it. luckily we were able to dislodge the piece and she's okay, but make sure yours doesn't have this part. I contacted the company and told them of the problem but i noticed the new feeder in the stores still have this hazard.

FunBites Set of Three - Cuts kids' food into fun-shaped bite-sized pieces . . . Great for picky eat

FunBites Set of Three - Green Squares, Red Hearts & Orange Triangles - Cuts kids' food into fun-shaped bite-sized pieces . . . Great for picky eaters and bento!I received a FunBites food cutter in exchange for my honest opinion.

The FunBites food cutters are fun, fast way to cut up food for little ones into uniform, small bites. You can use these on bread, cheese, meat, pancakes, fruit the list is endless! I have used the cutters to create quick and fun lunches for my kids and they love it! Their friends at daycare are interested to see each day what sort of shape will be built into their lunchboxes with their sandwiches or cheese. They think it is a fun game to come up with different "scenes" with their food and then to eat them after. I love that my girls are eating more because their food is fun AND they are learning about building bigger shapes/objects out of smaller ones. Plus we can talk about different shapes with them! What a win-win for us as parents!

Nuby 4 Pack Embossed Round Flat Plate, Colors May Vary

Nuby 4 Pack Embossed Round Flat Plate, Colors May VaryI have toddler plates divided into 3 sections (can't remember if they're nuby or munchkin), and though I like them, they just. don't. stack. I still like the divided plates for dinner, but for sandwiches, pancakes, etc....these are great, and they stack!!! Hold up great in the dishwasher (top rack only) and cute!

The whole line of Fun Drinking Cups, Bowls & Plates come in assortment of bright fun colors and are the perfect size whether your child is just learning to eat by themselves or is an old pro like my 3 year old. They are extremely durable, and I love that they are ok to use in the microwave and top rack of the dishwasher. They are the perfect size for my preschooler and the best is I don't have to worry about her breaking them when she's trying "to help" put her dishes in the sink.

Good size for toddler meals. I microwave these for 15 seconds or less and have never had an issue. They have gone through the dishwasher many times and still look new.

I've had these in the dividers style and the flats. I like both, but I prefer the flats because they stack better. I love that I can use them in the microwave and the dishwasher. I don't worry about my kids breaking dishes, so they're able to set the table and clear the table as part of their chores. I have these stored low for easy access to little ones. They don't stand up well to knives (my husband scratched up one of them pretty quickly), but they're plastic, so I wouldn't have expected them to. Nice size for kids and even for myself for lunchtime.

Dr. Brown's Designed To Nourish Flexpods Storage Jars and Stackable Freezer Trays

Dr. Brown's Designed To Nourish Flexpods Storage Jars and Stackable Freezer TraysWe tried out these and the oxo baby cubes OXO Tot Baby Blocks Freezer Storage Containers 2-Ounce, Set 6, Clear in the 4oz size. Our daughter never ate only 2 oz so we knew we needed larger containers. As a general comment, 2 oz is just too small and impractical you should get the slightly larger size and just feed your child anything left over at the next meal.

So, I did get containers with weird yellow discoloration on them I kept them bc we needed them and I didn't want to deal with the hassle of returning them. I washed them in the dishwasher and no problems. The storage tray is actually needed with this product because of the weird shape of the pods you'd need a flat surface to place them on and I would still worry that they would fall and spill bc things can get chaotic in our freezer :)

The pods are a little too flexible for us we're pureeing right now and having the pods flex in your hand just means the purée may fall out I can't see any upside at any point bc I honestly never need my containers to be flexible like this. I thought it seemed cool, but it's really more of a design flaw.

Another issue, especially if you are freezing or travel with these, is that the tops will not consistently stay on. Yes, whenever you freeze you need to keep the purée below the top of the container bc it expands in the freezer, but these tops don't secure at all so they push the top right off and the food is exposed. They also pop off when you hold the container in what to me is a normal grip but I guess is tight and they come off if you throw them in a bag so you can feed your little one later. It's sort of insane.

The main point though, is that the other product we bought addresses all these issues. The oxo blocks don't require that I use the freezer tray (as they are blocks, they will stack on their own), they have two sets of seals and as such the tops don't come off, regardless of what I do with them. As a mother the last thing I need is a product that makes me work harder in terms of figuring out where to put and carry things and how to hold them. Dr. Brown's pods and not for us.

We really like this product. We have about 4 or 5 sets and have put a variety of different foods in them. They are easy to clean even if you don't get to it right away. For example, if you find one in the diaper bag a day or so later, it still comes clean easily. My one complaint would be that sometimes when you drop them, the lid still pops off. Otherwise, they are perfect.

I make all our baby food and bought 3 sets of these. They stack perfect in the freezer and the food pops out easily. the size is perfect for a portion and the different color lids help identify what foods are inside (I use a homemade chart on the freezer). masking tape works too to put the contents and date right on the lid. They easily defrost too. Love these!!

I absolutely love these! I did a lot of research on baby food storage containers, and these are the best on the market! I love how flexable the containers are. They won't break if you drop them when you take them out of the freezer. I like that they are individual rather than all bunched together with one lid. I also use the containers when I need to pack formula for a bottle when I'm on the go. The containers are bendable, so I can easily pour the formula into the bottle (unlike other plastic containers where the formula powder goes all over the place). I'd definitely recommend these containers to anyone. They are the best!

The moment I opened the product, I was in aghast: the product wasn't new.

There were ugly yellow ring marks on the 5 lids out of 6.

(I took the picture immediately. I wish I could upload here.)

So I had to return the package and then ordered a replacement, which arrived next day. (I loved the quick delivery, by the way).

But again, the lids had the same marks, this time, on all of the 6 jars.

Then I thought the product was actually new, but only defective.

I hated the fact that I pay a full price and then got such a bad product.

But I needed it urgently, so I had no choice but to use them anyway.

I just wanted any potential users to know they should be careful about this.

Other than this, the product itself is not bad. I love the playful design.

The only downside is that the jar is kind of way too flexible, which makes the lid open very easily.

Happy Baby Organic Baby Food 3 Homestyle Meals

Happy Baby Organic Baby Food 3 Homestyle Meals, Super Salmon, 4-Ounce PouchesI give props to any mom, especially one that holds down a full time job or two, that can puree and strain her own food. If that's you, hat's off. You're my hero. I'm no superhero, so my goal was to find the best quality, best tasting food with minimal processing. Let's face it, there are plenty of organic options out there. And these days, I think most of them are good. The little man likes the Gerber organics fruits. They're easy to find and inexpensive. But hands down, the Happy Baby products are the best quality, best tasting (in my opinion) and most convenient of them all. The pouches are great, especially for when we're on the go. We can eat the fruit varieties without even putting on a bib. The Chick Chick is the man's favorite (bib required). The negative is that they're about twice the price of the Gerber fruits and meats. So if you're on a budget, this may be a bit of a stretch. Nonetheless, keep some pouches around for when you travel. Baby will love them!

My daughter absolutely used to love the original version of the Chick Chick baby food (with Chicken, Sweet Potatoes, and Brown Rice). Unfortunately, the recipe has apparently just been updated (though not reflected on Amazon's page as of 2/24/2012) to include totally different ingredients (except for the chicken). Now my daughter absolutely refuses to eat this product. The consistency and flavor seem to have drastically changed. Hopefully your child will enjoy the new blend, but I wanted to provide a warning for those of you that may have tried the other version...

Buy Happy Baby Organic Baby Food 3 Homestyle Meals Now

I was hoping that the new recipe would include more protein/fat than the original, since in my opinion, the protein/essential fatty acids that are abundant in salmon are the best reasons to feed it to a baby. Well, I should have taken the time to research the nutritional info before purchasing, because this item actually contains less of both. If you can manage to get your baby to eat an entire pouch of this, he/she will get a mere 1 gram of protein, or 6% of the RDA for a baby, .5 grams of fat, and 50 calories.

That makes this a nutrient poor food. And HappyBaby a pretty despicable company.

I make a lot of my own baby food, but was not about to make a meat baby food. After buying a few different purees, I tried Chick Chick. My fussy 9 month old LOVED it instantly. I don't know if it is the flavor or the texture (nice with some small bits in it), but she gobbles it down. It is worth the price (especially if you do subscribe and save) and I am pleased that she is getting a high quality protein meal and I don't have to puree chicken!

Why, why, why did they change the formula?? Our twins loved this. Now just like gobble gobble, they wont take it.

Only guess is that sweet potato is much more expensive than corn (both the top ingredients).

Klean Kanteen 12 oz Stainless Steel Water Bottle (Kid Kanteen Sippy Cap in Bright Green) - All Colo

Klean Kanteen 12 oz Stainless Steel Water Bottle - Living CoralMy 1 year old is glad to have his own kanteen just like everyone else in our family.

I really like these things. We are using the green spout it came with. It works; I encourage him to use the ring side down near his chin because it is a little strangely designed. It gets in your noses way if you drink through spout ring side up. Hope that makes sense. In the past we have used the attachment neck piece that adapts the aventi spouts. I prefer these; just haven't gotten around to replacing a lost one.

My wife and I love these kanteens for our little guy. He throws them on the ground and they hold up no problem. A few dents here and there, and maybe some paint chipped on the bottom. But it adds character. We have them in many different colors. We even use them for our selfs for a quick drink of water or whatever. With the changeable tops, these kanteens will see many, many miles.

i love klean kanteen's lightweight stainless water bottles, so i was quick to buy a replacement for my son's 12 ounce sippy when we lost it. but the lid on the new one has a loop that mashes my little boy's nose in while he tries to get his mouth around the sippy spout. i'm going to buy a replacement lid without the loop so we can still use the bottle.

I have a 40oz black klean kanteen and sure it looks beat up but I have had it for 5 or so years and have saved many plastic bottles. My 2 year old son always wants to drink out of dads water bottle so I got him a miniature version of mine. He loves it. He drank 2 full bottles right away. The valve inside of the lid works well and has not leaked during a violent shaking from my son. If you can get over the fact that the black coating will chip off or get scratched if you drop it (adds character) then this bottle is for you.
