Earlyears ABC Shape Sorter

We bought this shape sorter for my 11 month old daughter. Once she started playing with it, we realized the holes where the shapes go are the perfect size for tiny hands to become stuck in. In other words, her hand can just barely fit inside the square, triangle and letter shapes, but she needed our help to get it back out. Because this is made of a very hard plastic, I can see this easily leading to a trip to the emergency room to get your child's hand cut free. A total waste of money -we are throwing ours away, because I do not want another child to become stuck!

This toy is very durable, my daughter has been playing with it for several months now (she is currently 16mo). The colors are vibrant and there's a viewing window to see inside. However, there is also an access hole for removing the shapes, which she uses to put the shapes in instead of sorting the proper shape into the matching hole. This access hole is also too small for my husband's hand to fit which makes it a challenge sometimes to remove the shapes. I would recommend a shape sorter that only has holes to fit the shapes and not an all-inclusive hole which can be used to avoid the sorting/learning purpose of the toy.

FunBites Triangles - Cuts kids' food into fun-shaped bite-sized pieces . . . Great for picky eaters

I am happy to report my 3 year old loves the little triangle sandwiches (she is obsessed with shapes right now) and it is less of a battle to get her to eat at lunchtime! I firmly believe that seeing some tiny shapes on her plate instead of a "big" sandwich is less intimidating for her, so she will eat the smaller pieces easier. It is also great to use with my 15 month old. The sandwich is cut all at once into bite size pieces and I can quickly get both sandwiches to them at once instead of them having to wait for me to cut it up.

It's the peak of summer, but it won't be long before school is back in session. Either way, you don't get a break from making a nice breakfast or lunch so why not make it fun? Sophia loves being surprised when I make her toast into shapes or something other than plain toast so thanks to FunBites she gets to enjoy fun toast!

This isn't my first time trying out Fun Bites. A while back I did a previous review on FunBites and just as we fell in love with them then we still love them now. This time we were sent the triangle shapes. FunBites is very simple and easy to use and easy to clean. Simply make your toast (or sandwich) and press into it with your Funbites and that's it. For toast I find it simple, it basically cuts it so you can easily tear it apart and enjoy. Once you are done you can simply rinse it off in the sink and the crumbs are easily removed. Sophia absolutely love her toast in various shapes so breakfast time is more fun and exciting for her.

We have had these for about a year now my girls really enjoy them we have the triangles the hearts and the squares. They all work wonderfully. I love that its easy to use it cuts most anything that i have tried to cut up with it. I can toss it in the dishwasher and the bits are really bite size and the Kids love the fun shapes

Baby Food Maker - Immersion Blender with Food Processor Attachment

I bought the Sage Baby Puree & Blend, because I really didn't want to buy one of those baby food cooker machines that cooks baby's food in plastic yuk! I much prefer to cook my baby's food in my stainless steel steamer basket and give it a quick blend with the immersion blender or food processor. I'm really impressed with this product. It works how it's supposed to and has made preparing my baby's food really easy. It's simple to use, easy to clean and much quieter than I thought it would be. I also like that I will be able to use this past the baby food stage.

I absolutely loved this for the two months that it worked. Now however it is completely unusablethe stick is stripped as is the blender cup so smoke just comes out with a high pitched whine and nothing will rotate. I contacted the company to see about a warranty and never hear a response. Very disappointed in the quality and the customer service. I'm going with a different option for a replacementso many other blenders out there that I'm sure will last longer.

UPDATE:

After posting my review customer service was really wonderful! They not only replied to this review but they did send me a new blender system (without even talking to me again). Then they also called to tell me they had sent it and that it wasn't a usual problem with the blender that they have heard of, so I'm supposed to let them know if it happens again. I really do love this blender so since the company stands behind their product, I did change my rating. Thanks so much Sage Spoonfuls!

Works very well. Very easy to clean. The immersion blender is very powerful and requires a large volume. It is excellent for making soups. The food processor is great for pureeing (by just adding a bit of water) for baby whatever I cook for the family. Love that I can separate the food processor for baby's food and that it is BPA free.
