Baby Clear Cut Nail Clipper Pigeon (new yellow color Made in Japan)

Baby Clear Cut Nail Clipper PigeonSo this baby nail clipper is AWESOME! We have the pigeon boggie picker PIGEON Baby Nose Cleaning Tweezers Pigeon (Made in Japan) and that thing totally rocks so I figure I would try this nail clipper. Here is the good and the not so good...

THE GOOD:

1. Super Sharp! This thing clips any nail the first time. When working with our wee little one you have to be able to get the nail cut cleanly the first time since they rarely stay still long enough to get a second try.

2. Very Very Well Made. Made in Japan.

3. Good design. It is nice and wide where you hold it which helps keep things controlled and most important accurate. And the clipper is just the right size for baby nails.

THE NOT SO GOOD:

1. Price.... (You get what you pay for so if you want the best then be ready to pay for it.)

2. All the extra plastic bits. There is a 'safety' cover and then there is a yellow surround that "catches" the nails. When I am trying to see exactly what I am cutting all this plastic bits seem to just get in the way. The good news is that they can be removed easily and then put back after your done.

To sum it up this is THE BEST baby nail clipper I have ever used and most importantly it will get the job done quickly and safely.

I've been using this since my baby was a week old. It works very well on cutting his tiny nails. My only complain is it's too expensive!

Trimming your babies nails is never easy of course. BWe tried several other clippers and these just seem to work the best. Each snip always cuts through the nail where others seem to leave part of it hanging. It's easy to grip and we've yet to have a clipping accident with it. Still nice and sharp after 6+ months and working great.

After reading many reviews I went for the best. This nail clipper was a bit expensive, but well worth the price. It is easy to hold while baby squirms, and never have I cut her fingers. Excellent quality too. Looks like it will last.

it's just a regular nail-cutter, but baby-sized and then it widens out for adult-sized thumbs. it does not take out the difficulties of baby nail-cutting in general, but it is better than using regular nail clippers.

Goodbyn Bynto Food Container, Green

Goodbyn Bynto Food Container, GreenI got this lunchbox for the kids but my husband is actually using it for his lunches now. He doesn't use the water bottle, so the three compartments are perfect to fit for example a lunch dish, a side salad and a snack. The lid however is unfortunately not spill proof like I would have expected for the price. This makes it still great for sandwiches but not for leftovers like pasta with sauce. Otherwise this would have been a five star product.

I bought two of these a few months agoand just came back to buy more! These containers are very generous, my husband and I both use them for lunches. I fit a whole work days worth of food in these (lunch and a snack or two)! They are very deep containers, easy to wash (great in dishwasher), and simple to store! I have other bento style lunchboxes but they all have far too many compartments and small parts, I like that this is a simple two piece container but has individual sections built within. The best part is that each compartment is sealed seperatelymeaning that the lid not only seals the outer "perimeter" but also seals off one section from another. This comes in handy because some foods that have lots of moisture (hard boiled eggs, fruit, etc) will wreck other foods (crackers, bread etc.)and make lunch much less appetizingtrust me! This way you can truly keep each food contained in it's own compartment. The quality is great alsoall around no complaints. You'll love this!

This fits perfectly in the Lands End lunch box. It was a little hard at first for my Kindergartener to get the hang of opening it, but got used to it. Lid is nice and tight so no leaking into the different compartments even with a kid swinging the thing around.

I got this lunchbox (over the larger Goodbyn) because I was looking for something for my preschooler. Her school requires lunchboxes to sit flat in the fridge and have compartments so that the kids can feed themselves without too much assistance from the teachers. This lunchbox fits the bill perfectly. She can get the lid off (but not back on) by herself. It's just the right size for a fruit, veggie, and protein/grain section. We don't use the water bottle yet-but even if we did, there would still be room for a preschooler's-sized lunch because the compartments are nice and deep.

We've had no problems, so far, with leaking just as long as I am careful to seal the lid all the way along every ridge.

I'd say that the only drawback is that I expected, for the price, for the plastic to be a little thicker. It's not flimsy, but I was thinking it might be a little more rugged. We'll see how it holds up over time!

Container leaks, which is most disappointing. Don't plan on putting anything in it with a marinade or salad dressing, etc.

Munchie Mug - Top Rated Spill Resistant Snack Cup for Toddlers. Ages 1 to 4 years. Made in AMERICA.

Munchie Mug - Top Rated Spill Resistant Snack Cup for Toddlers. Ages 1 to 4 years. Made in AMERICA. - BPA and phthalate free. FDA compliant materials. - Green TopThis is the BEST snack cup I've ever owned, and I have a GREAT tip!!!! There is a brand of gelato sold in the grocery stores by the name of Talenti, and that container is exactly the same size as the container on the Munchie Mug!!! So, you can use those containers if your cup breaks (which mine never did) or you can have multiple snacks and just unscrew that cap and screw the Munchie Mug cap on! Then when they're done, just screw the gelato cap back on and stick it back in the pantry! Added bonus: The cup is very nice looking, and gelato is TO DIE FOR!!!! The gelato cups are NOT dishwasher safe, however! I hope this helps!!! Enjoy! :)

This is one of those "why didn't I think of it" ideas. Let me preface this with the fact that I have been a mom for 16 years. I have been taking snacks on the go and just dealing with the mess for a long time. I've tried baggies, tupperware and most recently those little snack cups with the wedges cut out. With the snack cups, the first day I handed it to my 13 months old, he pushed down on one of the wedges and shook all the food out! I stumbled on the munchie mug on amazon. I balked at the price then thought, if it really works, it's worth it!

I got ours in the mail yesterday and immediately washed it and filled it with Chex. Handed it to my toddler and sent him off. I was amazed that it was super easy for him to get his hand in and out and he didn't spill ANY of his snack!! Later in the day, I brought it with us in the car and let him have some snack. No spills! Not that spilled cheerios are so hard to pick up but as a mom, it is wonderful to know that I don't have chase him around picking up all the spilled food.

The only cons I have is the size and the cost. I do think that $16 for a snack cup is too much. Maybe if these become more popular the law of supply and demand will allow for a reduction in cost. Second, it is rather large. It takes up a lot of space in the diaper bag. It would be nice to have a smaller size. That being said, I absolutely recommend this to any parents of toddlers. It's easy to use, can't be accidentally opened, prevents spills, and allows for a little independence for your little one.

I have a 15 month old,and bought the munchie mug based on the rave reviews of a friend, and the amazon reviews. Sure, it's a little expensive, but the quality of the mug is fine, and it works as advertisedand does indeed prevent spills.

Here are my complaints about it:

1) it's big. Not a deal breaker but it doesn't conveniently pop into a diaper bag or stroller caddy.

2) It isn't remotely airtight. It doesn't claim to be, but there is simply no way to seal it off, apart from putting the whole thing in a large ziplog. While it's good for filling and immediately eating out of, I can't fill it and leave it in a bag until needed, or I get a handful of stale cheerios (I live in a humid area). Ultimately, this is why I had to shelf the munchie mug. You pretty much need to fill and feed immediately, storing food for more than a few hours in this is out of the question.

So I went out and bought a Made For Mom Snack Trap, 2 Pack, Gender Neutral with a lid.

Pros: small, lightweight. You can purchase a lid (and I recommend you do-it doesn't always come with one.) Easy for kids to carry, and fits well in a diaper bag. This one gets daily use in my house, as we can keep it filled with goldfish or cereal at all times.

Cons: kind of flimsy, and the munchie mug's fabric top DOES do a better job of keeping things in.

Overall, for this type of product, I'm throwing my vote to the snack trap, despite not being PERFECT.

Our family loves our "munchies." We bought one 2.5 years ago when our youngest was 6 months and she still uses the same one. We bought another one for our second child, when she was 9 months. We can't leave the house without it! The Munchie Mugs are very durable, have survived many tosses from the stroller and shopping cart, and the best part I don't have to clean up all the crumb left behind from snacks! Easy to wash and the lid hasn't gotten loose from years of daily use. There is nothing about the Munchie Mug that I don't like!

We haven't used it a whole lot, but it seems to work great. I love the holes on the side of the lid. It is easy to hold. It works better than the other snack trap cup we had where my daughter learned to take the lid off and could still push the middle of the lid in and spill everything. I really like this cup

Revolution Foods Yo'Drops Mango Mania 1.25 Ounce, 5-count (Pack of 4)

Revolution Foods Yo'Drops Mango Mania 1.25 Ounce, 5-countMy 3.5 yr old loves these things they are a "special treat" for him in leiu of chocolate and candy he does pour them directly in his mouth so they arent messy at all I wouldnt give these to a younger child though, pieces are too small!

I tasted them and they arent my cup of tea but my son sure does love them!

I recently discovered this product and my kids LOVE it! It is such a new and innovative format for my 4 year old. When she was younger, she loved yogurt melts but now that she is a "big kid", she refuses to eat those melts because they are for babies. Yo'Drops are crunchy, flavorful yogurt drops that feel like candy but are super healthy. They are individually packed so I can throw a few packs in my purse when we are on the go. I also keep a box of these in my car when my kids are are cranky and need a light, healthy snack in between meals.

The plus first. (Notice I only have one.)

*These are individually packaged.

Great for a snack on the go, you'd think right? Not so much.

Onto the drawbacks:

* The pieces are tiny. I'm talking like "nerds" candy sized. Now, my 18 month old DD is right on track with her motor skills, but she cannot manage these by herself unless we are at home and I put them in a bowl and give her a spoon. The pack we tried to eat on the go ended up mostly all over the floor (sorry Target!).

*They aren't as tasty as the "baby" yogurt melts. Now it may be that these are healthier (I did not compare labels) but my DD just doesn't get excited about them like she does the bigger yogurt melts.

I saw a reviewer say that she gave these to her 4 year old. I haven't given them to mine because I bought them for the baby, but I'm guessing there wouldn't be enough in one pkg. to suffice as a snack.

I wanted to love these but I just can't!

These are awful! Do not waste your money. My 2 year old daughter is a semi-picky eater so when she wouldn't eat them I tried them. Ugh I almost spit them out. The taste was almost sour/bitter, and the texture was not good either think stale rice crispies. I threw them all away. Its a shame because she likes all of the other Revolution Foods that I've ordered, but I will be more careful with ordering in the future.

KidCo Baby Steps Food Mill, with Carrying Case , 1 food mill

KidCo Baby Steps Food Mill, with Carrying Case , 1 food millMy husband and I were first introduced to this baby food grinder about six years ago. We were at our friends' house, and they pulled it out, filled it with some veggies and rice from the dinner table, and had baby food in seconds! Their baby loved it. We can't imagine not having one now.

The mill is handy, especially when out at a restaurant. We don't have the tote, but we keep ours in a plastic baggie. After using it, we just pop it back into the baggie and wash it at home (which is a breeze).

The food that is ground isn't super smooth. It's more like the No.2 and 3 baby jar food. For dinner, we might have chicken, brown rice, and veggies. I just take a little of each, and I have the baby's dinner ready in minutes, without having to get up!

If you buy this, I can guarantee you'll love it. This is a great price for it, too, AND you get the tote.

The food mill is very handy. I didn't bother using it with my first two kids (I'd received one as a hand-me-down from a friend). It seemed to be too much hassle. In fact, it's really simple. I use it daily with my third child and wish I'd experimented with it a few years ago. Our pediatrician encourages us to give our child what we eat, not to depend on Gerber or Beech Nut too much. The problem is that it's difficult to mash (with a spoon or fork) foods like banana, avocado, potato, small curd cottage cheese and other soft foods to the consistency that my child will eat (super smooth). This food grinder does that for you. It is really easy to clean and simple to tote around. I'll even mill several foods during one sitting, cleaning it between food types it's that easy to take apart, clean and reassemble.

In response to other reviews on this site, you can put cooked chicken into it, or crisp apple, but these won't become as smooth as yogurt. For that, you'd have to add water to the chicken, possibly add some other blending agent like potato, and use an electric blender. For apple or carrots, you'd need to cook it before you could put it into the mill and it would become smooth (like applesauce). Milling foods like corn and peas will probably result in some residual solid bits (the skin of the pea or kernel). To completely rid the food of that, you'd have to use a seive; even an electric blender would yield some solid bits.

This product is probably most useful for children between the ages of 6 months and 1 year.

My son was 7 months old when I got this food mill. I felt that this might be just another extra but I wanted to try it since my pediatrician recommended getting a food mill. It has worked out great so far. For example, last night I went to a family function. I selected chicken casserole, green beans, and potatoes to put in the food mill. I was able to feed my son easily and also clean up quickly by just putting the food mill back into the tote to wash later. I use it in restaurants and also at home. I am very pleased with Kidco products so far and the reviews on their other products are consistently positive. I feel confident from what I know so far that this is a great product for this stage of feeding. I purchased this from Baby Depot but several stores also carry it including BRU.

I'm a nanny and the family I work for has an older version of it and it works great, so I went ahead and ordered one for my baby girl. I was very dissapointed when I opened the box and found that the "medical grade stainless steel blade" has been replaced by the manufacturer for a cheap plastic one. The box it came in still says that it comes with the stainless steel one though, even the picture on Amazon shows it, I find this misleading. It's really frustrating to find that what you end up getting is not what was advertised.

The product photo shows a metal grater and the description claims it is medical grade steel. In fact, what you get is a plastic grater.
