Beaba Babycook Pro2X Baby Food Processor and Steamer
Unless you have two to cook, you don't need this.
I live in NYC and simply takes unnecessary counter space. Go with Pro 1 not this.I was using the baby bullet before I purchased this and it's like going from a bicycle to a Cadillac. It is so incredibly easy to operateI can use this while holding my little one. I love that it doesn't have a million pieces to wash, like the bullet did. It is tremendously more quiet that I would have ever imagined, which is great if your little one is sleeping. In all honesty, I don't think I needed the Pro2x, I definitely think the Pro would suffice, but figured it was worth the extra $40 to have 2 steaming/cooking bins. My Beaba is my new favorite baby product!

I recently started using the Babycook and strongly recommend it to any parent who wants to make homemade baby food. I really like that it's an all-in-one appliance-I can steam the food and then puree in the same container, creating minimal cleanup. I have been experimenting with different recipes and combinations of fruits and vegetables and adding in a little spice, so my son gets used to different flavors. I use the Babycook to steam veggies for our family meal and also to give to my son to practice with finger foods. The Babycook sits on my counter and I see using it long after my son is done eating purees. I'm planning to use it this winter to make soups! This is one of my favorite baby products!!Read Best Reviews of Beaba Babycook Pro2X Baby Food Processor and Steamer Here
If you can splurge, it is wonderful to have.As I was determined to primarily cook my own baby food, at first, I thought I was going to be fine with a regular steamer and blender. After a few weeks, it turned out to be such a hassle that I gave up and put up the cash.
Yes, I can see how one-side blending can be annoying although, to be honest, it really has not been an issue for me.
I love its capacity--I purposely went with Pro2X even though I have only one child. It is super convenient to steam larger quantities of food at the same time.
I use it to make yogurt-fruit smoothies and to reheat my baby's food.
I have not had any problems with leakage or the product malfunctioning.
Spare parts can be bought online and are relatively cheap. This is a huge plus.
Love, love, love it and wish I had bought it much sooner!

I agree with the other person's review about only one side blending ( both sides cook). That is indeed a bummer for the price! I like that you have an extra cup though in case one is dirty ( both fit on the blender side). My chief complaint with this product is you have to get the pieces really tight on the bottom for it not to leak in use. Maybe I'm doing something wrong because the instructions were kind of confusing and a lot of it appeared to be in French. I probably wouldn't buy this again although I liked it enough to not return. It steams efficiently, blends great, and is cute. I don't have a huge issue of counter space and its not a huge product in my mind. If you think you can manage keeping the cup clean on demand, I'd go with the version right below this. I wouldn't go with the basic model because although the size of the cup is good the steamer cup inside is even smaller by a tad. This is probably an item you buy for fun, Im sure there are more economical choices.Earlyears Stroll Along Monkey Spiral

I purchased these on a whim at the supermarket when my son was 10 months because I liked the fact that there wasn't a lot of sugar in it. Also, it's organic and contains all whole grains.I tried these out for an option that my 9 month old with a wheat allergy could try...since there are not many finger foods for baby with a wheat allergy on the market. I opened the box and noticed how big they were so I tried one myself and they are quite hard, so I broke 1 in 3rds and it took awhile for my baby to dissolve it in his mouth. I would not recommend this as a first finger food and I am going to wait until my baby has molars also before I offer them to him again. If your baby has a wheat allergy I suggest using Baby Mum Mums and yogurt melts (happy Baby has an organic brand) Also I have tried honey dew and cantalope as finger foodsI've been looking for a healthy snack and breakfast cereal for my toddler for a long time. I want something that's high in calcium and other essential nutrients, yet low in sodium and sugar. Babies have more sensitive taste buds so something tasteless to us can be tasty to them. Actually, I still wish these puffs are a little less sweet though although it's already considered as low in sugar. I've bought Happy Baby Puffs which are great and my son loves them but they are too airy to be eaten as breakfast. I think Teddy Puffs are great! They are not that hard. If your child eats Cheerios or crackers, she will be okay with this.It may seem like a case of Teddy Puffs is a lot to buy in one batch, but you'd be surprised how quickly the boxes disappear. Teddy Puffs are awesome because it gives my son a mini boost of nutrition, they're not overly sugary and he can eat them for breakfast or snacks. I highly recommend them for the "organic savvy" family. My son loves this cereal he's been eating it since he's been about 6-7 months old, they are big so you need to break them up but it's easy enough to do with your fingers. We always used this as a fall back when he didn't want to eat. It's great cause it's not too sweet and even a nice snack for mom!
Zoli Stuck Suction Bowl Feeding Set
If you just want a bowl, get something less expensive. If you're looking for something that stays stuck to table or tray, well look elsewhere.Overall this is a nice set for an infant, good quality and easy to care. But my 10 month old pulled the suction bowl off the table right away...

I got it two weeks ago for my 15 month old, haven't used it yet.this did not stick to well but my daughter loves the spoon and fork so its good as a bowl but dont expect it to stay in place

This cookies are delicious and just right for little hands. My 1 year old loves them and as a parent who tries every food my kids do, I thought they tasted great.I wanted to buy something new but alas, my daughter likes her animal cookies. These cookies tend to go stale immediately after the package is opened. Will probably not purchase again.A little on the crunchy side the taste is very over-processed,(which is why we are doing more organic) my little one doesn't eat these as much as she would other GG products.Naturepedic No Compromise Organic Cotton Oval Bassinet Pad

I bought this as a replacement mattress for the Summer By Your Side Sleeper based on a review someone else had written saying that it fits. However, I was disappointed when it arrived and found that it is smaller than the Summer brand mattress. The Naturepedic mattress measures as the packaging says 13 x 29" oval which seemed close enough to the Summer mattress dimensions. However, when I tried it in the Summer Sleeper, the oval shape of the Summer sleeper is different than the Naturepedic mattress. It is wider at the ends of the oval. When I put the Naturepedic mattress in the Summer Sleeper with the mattress pushed into one of the edges of the Sleeper there was a gap in width of about 1 inch and a gap of about 3 inches in the corner in length! The gap seems unsafe and poses a potential suffocation hazard to my baby, so I will be returning this mattress. The quality of the mattress is otherwise good. I bought it because it is made of non-gassing polyethylene plastic and organic cotton and is better quality than the mattress that comes with the Summer By Your Side Sleeper. It just doesn't fit! Too bad!Read Best Reviews of Naturepedic No Compromise Organic Cotton Oval Bassinet Pad Here
Our baby is now three months old, big for his age, and has been sleeping on this pad the whole time, in his "Summer Infant By Your Side" co-sleeper. When I first received it, my husband was concerned about its firmness. But our baby sleeps soundly & well and never looks uncomfortable. Sometimes we layer an American Baby quilted pad cover under a little sheet for a little added coziness. I would say that the middle of the pad has indeed gotten a little squished over time, but as I said, our baby never looks uncomfortable and it still feels very supportive. I would recommend it if you hate those nasty plastic mattresses everything comes with!Want Naturepedic No Compromise Organic Cotton Oval Bassinet Pad Discount?
Originally, I was thrilled to find this mattress for an heirloom bassinet that has been used in my family for generations and now that I've received it I am not so enthusiastic. I bought it because of the dimensions in the listing. I thought 2" thick would be a good replacement for the mattress that is currently in it (a 2 1/2" thick old vinyl one from the 70's that I probably slept on), this mattress is MAYBE 1 1/4" thick (if I'm being charitable) and the product label says it's an 1 1/2". Not sure how comfortable my baby will be on this, but with $70 already spent and me in my third trimester, I'm sort of pot committed at this point...Pampers Kandoo Flushable Wipes, Sensitive, 100 Count Refills (Pack of 6)

I was skeptical about these wipes at first, but when I started using them when my son was potty training, I was hooked. Now, about two years later, we are still using them. I have a daycare and all the kids use them to make sure they get nice and clean when they are done on the potty. When we run out, my son cries because the toilet paper hurts his butt (we don't use the cheap stuff either). The scent is nice, and has the perfect amount of moisture to get the job done without feeling yucky. We also love Kandoo's hand soap, body wash, and shampoo. What a great way to teach kids personal hygiene!!

These wipes are great. My two-year-old just learned to use the potty and he does a pretty good job with these wipes. The only complaint I have is that the number of wipes per package is very limited, so I end up having to refill it all the time.Want Pampers Kandoo Flushable Wipes, Sensitive, 100 Count Refills (Pack of 6) Discount?
I noticed some of the other reviewers commented on the heavy fragrance. These wipes are fragrance free it says so right on the front of the package. I have used many boxes of these wipes and the reason I love them is: they DO NOT have a smell. I have quite a few allergies, especially to fragrances and I have not had any problem with these. They really are great, I even use them!Biotene Dry Mouth Gum Natural Enzyme Protection 16 Piece(s)
If you've never had chronic dry mouth, you have no idea how horrible it is. Since so many medications now create this as a side effect, it's wonderful to have products that combat it.
I always have some next to my bed as well as in my purse, because it even helps when I wake up with a mouth like the Kobi Desert. Be careful not to go to sleep chewing, tho, because the pieces are small and can be swallowed easily.
I shipped several boxes of this to a friend in England with mouth cancer, and it gave him immediate relief, as well. He liked the spray best, tho, so clearly what works for one is different than for others. But Biotene has a whole line of products, so you can see which one works best for you.I didn't care for this product. It didn't wet my mouth anymore than a regular stick of gum would. Won't buy again.

I love this table tray, and it has saved so much work for me. My son is always playing with things on the table, like messing around with the food he's eating, or roll around his sippy cup (which usually falls off the table). The tray helps contain all this mess within it and the clean up is a lot less horrible. On top of that, he's a messy eater and this tray does help catch a lot more food that's fallen off his spoon with the extra lip in front of his chest. The surface of the tray makes wiping off oily food really easy, and if it gets too messy, all i have to do is unclip it and wash it in the sink. Love this try and I can't imagine without it anymore!Read Best Reviews of Bambinos Tidy Table Tray Here
Not very glamorous, but a terrifically practical baby shower gift. This is one of those "why-didn't-I-think-of-it" inventions. After cleaning up plates thrown off the table by the baby or pulled off of the table by the dog when my kids were young, I found this and knew that it would be highly valued by my soon-to-be-mommy niece.Want Bambinos Tidy Table Tray Discount?
This tray is excellent for the toddler who throws around his/her place mat.It is held in place by a spring-hinged clip. The tray 'pops' off for washing.
The usefulness of the removable tray is limited because the tray itself clips on/off and takes about 1 second to remove. I am a bit worried that my 20 month old son will learn this trick soon. I would suggest this improvement:
Have a screw clamp instead of clip for the tray. This would be useful for several reasons (1) a toddler would not be able to remove it from the table, (2) pinched fingers would be less likely from the clip snapping shut, (3) the back side (against the toddler stomach) could be 'flat' instead of having a ledge where food accumulates in difficult to clean places.
