Jeep Protective Floor Mat

Jeep Protective Floor MatWe put this mat under our toddler's chair at the dining room table (which we use every day). We've now had it for almost a full year, and it's perfect. It covers a fairly large area so even thrown food lands on it (well, at least the stuff not hurled really far away). It's not too heavy so doesn't mash down the rug underneath, and it's easy to wipe and keep clean.

My wife and I looked everywhere to find a round, clear highchair floor mat. All the ones we could find had some sort of "kiddie" prints on them. We wanted something that wouldn't stand out but would be functional. We have carpet in our dinning room, so we definitely needed something to help catch all of the "falling" food. This floor mat has worked great for us! It is large enough to cover the needed space, but not too big as to take up a lot of area. We typically just wipe it down with a wet rag and then once a week I hose it off and scrub it with soap on the back patio. It seems to be made pretty strong too. I don't think we will have to replace it with a new one for our next kid. We love it...it is functional and durable.

The plastic is thick, shiny, and clear, with a neat hem sewn with white thread. There is a small white tag reading "Jeep" that we could trim off easily if we wanted to, and no cartoony graphics. It's exactly the right size -big enough that it extends as much as a foot and a half all the way around my son's chair (we use a booster strapped to a regular dining chair), catching everything he drops without taking up more space than it needs to. It cleans very easily. Part of our mat is under the table, held in place by two table legs, and the plastic is stiff enough that it doesn't budge or get bunched up. My 13-month-old gets a kick out of playing on top of it, but it has never slipped underneath him.

We haven't had it long, but the plastic is so thick that I see no reason why it won't be the only spill mat we need for a very long time. This is an excellent value. It's exactly what we need. I wish we'd purchased it sooner -we try to avoid unnecessary baby items, but at this price, this mat is a no-brainer.

We've been looking for something to protect our hardwood floors from our son's mealtimes, and we found that the bestselling ones have crazy baby prints and sell for $30 or $40, ack! Just because we have a baby doesn't mean we want our house to look like a daycare.

This floor mat is a refreshing change. It's a thick, durable, clear plastic and feels kind of like a shower curtain liner. (Also like a shower curtain liner, the mat smelled a little when we first took it out of the package, but the odor dissipated after a while and now is gone.) The mat protects the floor from food that (either accidentally or purposefully) falls from the high chair. Clean up consists of a damp paper towel. No more scrubbing at blobs of oatmeal that have dried on the floor and refuse to come off or picking up every little pea or grain of rice on the floor.

The mat is a good size and fits easily in a corner underneath the high chair. It lays flat, doesn't bunch up, and because it's clear, it doesn't even attract that much attention from our curious son. Best of all, it costs about a third of what the others sell for, hooray!

For a thin sheet of plastic, I thought $7 was a rip-off. I might as well put a large kitchen garbage bag under the high chair instead for a fraction of that price. Also, it reeked so much of this strong plastic smell when I got it in the mail that I thought it was nauseating. I didn't want it under my baby while he's sniffling all those plastic fumes in. So thanks to free baby returns on Amazon, I returned it and got a rug from Walmart for $14 instead and covers the same area, works like a charm, doesn't stink up the whole area, and looks much better in our dining room.

Beech-Nut Good Morning Country Breakfast Stage 2, 4 Ounce Jars (Pack of 12)

Beech-Nut Good Morning Country Breakfast Stage 2, 4 Ounce JarsMy son has been enjoying Beechnut fruits and veggies since 6 months old, and I've been perfectly happy with them. I got some of the other combinations on a whim when he was ten months old to try out. One of them was this Country Breakfast mix.

My son, normally not a picky eater, took one bite and refused adamantly to eat more. At first we took his behavior for simple stubbornness and tried every trick we knew to get him to eat, but as the hour ticked on and neither his father nor I could make headway, we both tried the food ourselves.

After that we threw out the jar and opened up some peach puree as an apology to my son. The country breakfast tastes terrible. I don't mean it tastes just odd or bland. It tastes like dirty dishwater that has sat for several days. I can't believe we were trying to feed our son that! So, we'll not be getting anymore of that particular mix--though I'm happy enough with Beechnut product for their standard fruit and veggie mixes.

Please be aware that you probably don't want to order this in bulk unless you're sure your child already likes it and will eat it. Otherwise it will be a waste of your money.

Happy eating! ^_^ Shanshad

We purchased this at a local grocery store and haven't been able to find it since then...anywhere! My 1 year old son LOVES this meal! It doesn't smell bad (I don't taste his foods for him.) and he never turned away from it!

Prince Lionheart Versa Formula Mixer

Prince Lionheart Versa Formula MixerBefore having the mixer, I would just shake my sons bottle to mix the formula. This created two problems: One, the formula often wouldn't mix all the way & the small lumps would clog the bottle. It would frustrate my son because he wasn't able to get anything to drink until we un-clogged it. The bigger problem was that shaking the bottle would create a lot of bubbles. My son is a BIG TIME 'spitter', so we try to eliminate any air in his bottle that would make the spitting up worse.

With the Prince Lionheart VERSA Formula Mixer , I can easily & quickly mix my sons bottle and it gets the job done.

Don't have any bottles to mix?

This mixer can be used for mixing any kind of powdered drinks. Use it for protein powder, instant breakfast powder, & more! It also comes with a second attachment that is perfect for frothing milk in coffee (hot chocolate for us). It's easily washed, & is very compact so it's easy to store. The VERSA Formula Mixer is a very handy tool to have around.

Seems like a simple little thing, but I really love having it and I use it several times a day!!!

I've only used this product a few times, but I love it so far! My 2 month old son has reflux, so we've had to start thickening his formula with cereal. This makes it very difficult to mix by shaking because there is so much dry ingredients compared to liquid (3 oz of water, 1.5 scoops of formula, and 3 tablespoons of rice cereal). This mixer has worked incredibly well so far! I don't even need to combine the ingredients at different intervals. I add the water, then formula and cereal and mix. I am using the smaller Avent bottles (4oz, I think), and the mixer does not splash over the rim.

The one drawback is that even though this mixer is long and narrow, and fits into a narrow opening bottle, it does NOT reach to the bottom of an 8oz Evenflo bottle. Since the dry ingredients settle at the bottom, this mixer doesn't combine everything.

If you use tall, narrow bottles, this probably isn't the mixer for you. However, if you use shorter, fatter bottles (like Avent), I'd definitely reccommend this mixer!!

I absolutely love this little mixer. So far I've purchased two, one for me and one for my husband. He uses his to mix his powdered drink mixes and I also use that same attachment when I make my kiddo chocolate milk. I use the frother attachment for my coffee and this one is the best that I've had to date.

I have had several milk frothers over the years and they all have fallen apart. The battery compartments located on the bottom always seemed to have an issue and I had to resort to using tape to keep them shut or keeping the unit together. I love the location of this battery compartment. It's got a good amount of power. It does an awesome job making my milk/creamer nice and frothy.

It does so well I no longer miss stoping at a coffee place for a latte! I am actually going to be buying a third mixer for my office so I can enjoy tastier coffee while I am at work.

After reading multiple reviews and actually trying the CPCs (Cheap Pieces of Crap) I ordered this unit. Wow--the first thing you notice is the quality of the on/off switch. It is solid, and stays on. Press its on. Press its off. Just like you want it to. Its very efficient and though not called a "frother" it works just like one in my coffee. It also works super well for mixing my powdered supplements into cold drinks. Tried to mix some with a spoon lately and you know frustration. This little unit just atomizes it right in and it doesn't settle back out that quickly. To clean, just lower into a wast basket and turn it on. The speedy turn spins off all fluid and then I just let it dry. I highly recommend this and will likely buy a second one to keep at home.

This is hands down the best handheld formula blender. I know others have mentioned that this is not long enough to fit in tall Dr browns bottles because of their narrow opening and this is true, especially if you only have it filled to the 4oz mark. It works great with all other bottles and the ones that are too tall and thin, I just mix it in a smaller measuring container. It blends so fast and does the job. I'm so glad I bought one!

Vilac 7 Piece Wood Fruit with Cutting Board and Pretend Knife

Vilac 7 Piece Wood Fruit with Cutting Board and Pretend KnifeI love cooking and I sometimes let him cut real fruit with me.

I wanted to play some kitchen toys with my son (20 months old).

My son always plays with cars, trucks and trains, so I thought he wouldn't be interested.

Surprisingly, he started pretending as if he is eating them ( He actually bit them a few times).

Now he is 21 months old. He started putting them in a zip lock bag, bring them to me,

then he shared the fruit with me. Now he can cut them and put them together again.

It is not really easy to cut them with the knife that comes with it,

but he manage to cut them(or you can help them), so I think it is not a huge issue.

Sometimes the paint comes off when you cut with the knife, otherwise, it is very durable.

The size is very nice. If your baby is still eating toys, then you probably want to wait until they are done with it.

**I have never looked Haba or Plan Toys food, so I can't really tell the difference.

YES! I am very happy with this purchase :)

Plan Toys Activity Breakfast Menu Playset

Plan Toys Activity Breakfast Menu Playseti love plan toys. these are no exception. people are correct; they are small. I bought them for my almost two year old; who absolutely loved them and was able to identify the food even though it is small. We have the Hape kitchen and wooden pots and pan set. The egg fits perfectly in the frying pan; so it is a good thing that this food is smaller. The ham, tomato, and cheese also let this set double as a lunch set; we make a sandwich. I cut some "lettuce" out of a piece of green felt which helps keep it together a little bit. My son loves the little cup. He wants us to put snacks in it for him (i think he likes the small size because it is easy to hold). It is well made and was very affordable.

the only thing is i tossed the too tiny mushroom but who cares. Perfect for my 1yr old!!! the Superior formaldehyde free quality ROCKS too. I heart plan toys!!! Buy this.

I'm a day care provider and need durable toys. The kids like the look. They enjoy the toy and aren't as tempted to put it in their mouth because it isn't plastic.

The packaging was very nice and all the pieces are true to color as displayed on the box and in images. For a 2+ age rated toy, I was surprised that there were several pieces I would consider too small for a two-year-old specifically the mushroom, tomato and a "meat" for the sandwich. My 2-year-old immediately put them in her mouth. Also, the salt and pepper shakers were smaller than appeared about the size of golf ball. So overall a nice set, but close adult supervision is definitely needed for those younger than 3.

They are very much worth the cost over plastic food. The quality is great---my 2 year old loves playing with them (I know he is younger than 'recommended') but he is a huge fan, and obviously does indeed put each piece in his mouth all the time as we play. I have no worries about the safety of this product's wood or paint. Have bought almost all the Plan Toys food products. GREAT toys.

BUILT NY Munchler Lunch Bag

BUILT NY Munchler Lunch Bag - BooI was misled by a lot of the reviews here. I don't understand why people would say this is too small for a kid's lunch. The reviews made me think this was small enough to stuff in a large purse, but it's not. I was surprised when I received it. It's definitely large and stuffable. It fits my son's Thermos Funtainer, a whole sandwich, an apple, a banana, and you can put cookies or crackers in a Ziplock bag and it will still fit. If that's not enough for your kid, two cereal bars will fit with the rest of the above.

I would like to think that should be good enough for a school aged kid.

My 4 year old loves Benny, and that it opens all the way up to become a place mat at his school, but it's very small for a kid sized lunch and after just a few weeks of admittedly stuffing it (tuperware lunch, drink and fruit is all) the seams are ripping. It won't last.

Perhaps if it had been a bit bigger or your just using it for snacks.

This is wipable. The inside is reflective material to keep things cold or hot. My son loves it!

If you are looking at this for an older child's lunch, not sure it would work. You definitely will not fit a thermos in there. It can hold a juice box, sandwich and addn'l item.

I bought two Bennys for my twin preschoolers and a Boo for my 7-year-old daughter. All were huge hits. The Bennys we received were a little different from the one pictured slightly less cute but slightly more functional, so I'd say it was a positive change overall. Basically, they are a bit larger than the one shown, and have backpack straps, which make them much easier for little guys to carry around. We get compliments on them every time people see the boys wearing them into school.

The Boo is exactly as pictured, and my daughter and her friends all love it.

In response to the criticisms from other buyers:

According to the packaging, the materials are all lead-free.

It's true that the bags are not particularly thick or sturdy, but about what I would expect for the price, and they wipe clean more easily than most other lunchbags we've gone through over the years, and the insulation is better than you would think for the weight and thickness.

Some complained that the zippers stuck, but in my experience almost all zippered lunch bags begin to stick after a while; we've had no problem with these ones so far.

While I can certainly see how the way these zip down all the way and then zip back up could be confusing for some, there is really no need to use this feature. We usually just unzip the top to get food in and out.

For those who found these too small to hold their kid's food, I wonder which one they bought (and how much their kid eats!), because we have had no trouble. The Benny can hold a large, insulated sippy cup, a sandwich tupperware, a fruit, a yogurt, and two small snack tupperwares, as that's what I pack for my preschoolers each day. The Boo is a bit smaller, but still plenty big enough for an elementary schooler, since they tend to use juice boxes or milk bottles rather than bulky sippy cups. I have no idea, though, how big the other characters are.

All in all, we've been very happy with these, and would definitely recommend them to others.

Enfamil Enfacare for Babies Born Premature Ready To Use 1 Qt Found this product to be much easier to work with than the powder. This didn't last as long as we thought it would. Again it is much easier to use in a pinch when the baby is crying.

Dabbawalla Bags Lunch Bag, British Invasion

Dabbawalla Bags Lunch Bag, British InvasionThis lunch bag is nice and cute but what I didn't realize is that they recommend that you only wash it about 10 times. It is machine washable but still... Also, I think lunch bags that are more like a little "case" are more convenient because this bag is quite deep and you food items could get lost in it.

I bought this for my 12 y/o daughter. She loves it and uses it everyday for school. It is the perfect size to carry a bento style lunch box inside as well as a juice box or soda. I'd gladly buy this again if she wanted another style. Most importantly it is bigger on the inside than it seems in the pictures.

For the past year my kindergartner has been using PackIt Freezable Lunch Bag, Robots, which has been sturdy and keeping lunches cool the whole year. The velcro is starting to give out (but we'll keep it for road trips/picnics) and it can't accommodate my son's new Klean Kanteen Wide Mouth Insulated Bottle (Stainless Loop Cap) Monterey Blue 16 oz., so I decided to look for a new lunch bag for first grade. It arrived today, and is really adorable. It doesn't have the odor that other reviewers have mentioned. I was a little disappointed that it didn't come with an ice pack, but I must have misread the description, because it's not supposed to come with one. It's larger than our Robots PackIt bag, so it will easily hold the Klean Kanteen and more food than my son will ever need to take to school. Very happy so far!
