Weil Baby Tritan Bottle, Twin Pack, Stage 1

We bought these because of the unique venting feature, made in the USA, BPA free and convertible into sippy cup. Within a month or so, we noticed small cracks developing on the outside of the bottom of the bottle. We thought it might be from putting them in the bottle warmer (although we did not read anything about not putting them into the warmer) so we started putting water in them the night before so that the water was room temperature. Recently, we sent them to the sitter's and found the whole diaper bag soaking the small cracks turned into one large crack rendering it completely unusable. All in all, disappointed with what we thought was a good product.

UPDATE: We contacted Dr. Weil's to find out if cracking was a common problem or unique to us. The rep was very accommodating and tried very hard to resolve the issue. In addition to collecting a great deal of information to determine the cause of the cracking, the rep offered to replace the bottles. We have yet to receive them, but will definitely give the company another shot. It is clear that they are committed to making a good product and customer service.

I have these bottles in glass but I broke two so I thought it was a good idea to get the plastic ones....bad idea...these bottles leak TERRIBLY unless you get the nipple on just right. I never had leaking with the glass bottles. I guess I'm going to toss the plastic ones and just get more glass and try not to drop them....

Lasted long enoughI would probably opt for the glass version versus the plastic if I had it to do over again, but again work just fine and very tight seal, few few pieces so easy to clean.

I have been very happy with this newborn starter set. We have tried Dr. Browns, Avent, Medela and Dr. Weil. The only bottle our baby girl likes to drink out of is the Dr. Weil's bottles. I haven't had any quality issues with them at all, and they are super easy to clean. Bonus they are made in the USA. It's also nice to have the glass option for home and the tritan option for when we are out and about, and I like knowing that it is non-toxic with no BPA, Phalates, etc. I would definitely recommend giving them a try.
