I was trying to get my 6 month old, exclusively breastfed baby to start taking a bottle. He refused for 1.5 month. My doctor suggested I go straight to a cup so I wouldn't have to wean off a bottle.

I got this hoping he would take it and eventually learn to use it on his own. He too the cup right away, with my a assistance, and is now 8 months and getting better each day trying to use it on his own. I would highly recommend this :)

I used this when I was teaching my child to drink from a cup (around 1 year of age). The handles didn't seem very comfortable to me, but she had no problem holding them. Initially I would help guide the cup and the tilt made it easier for both of us to see the liquid going towards her face. Later on she was able to use it on her own. After several months of that, she transitioned to a regular cup. We probably used the Doidy cup for less than a year, but I found it useful. I do think it's overpriced though.

I went through so many products to try and get my son to drink from anything but a bottle. This did it. He loves grabbing onto the side handles and the tilted sides make it easy for him to get the liquid out. Messier than a sippy cup but it spares me now having to teach my son not to use a suippy cup!

We got these after spending a week with my sister and niece that was 7 weeks ahead of my baby. The babies love these. You really start to see a sense of independence. They can sip and stick their little face in the cup so they can learn how to do this new process comfortably. I highly recommend getting 2 at least.

The cup works great. I got it for my son when he was maybe 1 1/2 and he could drink out of it just fine. The problem is if your child is young enough to need help drinking out of a cup then they are probably young enough that they think dumping out their cup and playing in the water is fun. My son is three now and well past the age where he can drink out of any cup just fine, until you look away for a second, then it's all over the floor. He still gets a sippy cup because it just plain messy other wise. This cup does exactly what it says it will but it was a waste of money for us.
