NUK 2 Count Gerber Graduates Baby Food Pouch Feeding Straw, 6 Months Plus

NUK 2 Count Gerber Graduates Baby Food Pouch Feeding Straw, 6 Months PlusI got this for my 20 month old since she has a tendency to squeeze the pouches too hard and get fruit all over herself. As soon as I got the package, I washed the straws and put one on a "crusher" fruit pack. For the first time, she was able to feed herself from one of these pouches. All I did was push the fruit from the bottom up when she was about halfway done with the pouch.

This has really made it a lot easier to get ready and get out the door after her naps because it gives me two free hands to get stuff ready while she handles her snack time.

I don't do a lot of reviews but wanted to pipe up here to say that these straws have worked out great for us. I use them mostly for my son's smoothies and yogurt snack pouches. The purees that we use are relatively thick but not at all chunky and he's never had any issue using the straw. I wouldn't suggest using this for heavy, third stage foods or anything with full pieces of fruit or vegetable in it but, for yogurt, smoothies and smoother purees, they're great. Ultimately, they're only $2.99 and I definitely feel like I've gotten $2.99 worth out if them.

These worked much better for us than the other straw type attachments sold on amazon that don't screw on. These Nuk straws screw on and more importantly cannot be removed by little hands. Some of the really thick foods were really difficult to get through the straw though. Otherwise, these straws work great!

These are great. It really makes feeding kids a snack a breeze. The kids have a bit more control over their eating so it's great for helping them transition to feeding themselves.

I bought this for my 8 month old niece b/c she has difficulty feeding from her pouches. Since this product is advertised as a self-feeding straw I thought it would be helpful, but instead she was unable to suck hard enough to get food through the narrow straw. The straw and plastic guard also seem kind of cheap quality. I guess this might be an improvement for some. However, I'm going to search for better options to help her.
