Kiinde Kozii

Kiinde KoziiWe needed to heat frozen breastmilk-filled bags, refrigerated plastic breastmilk-filled bottles, and room temperature glass formula-filled bottles. This warmer does an excellent job of heating all 3 without the guesswork. At first we were just microwaving a mug of water, but this is far easier, exact, and we always know when the bottle is warmed. It also shuts off when it's done heating, so it's not dangerous, and you don't have to measure the water every time you use it, which is a common complaint about other warmers. Do your future sleep-deprived self a favor and get one!

i wish i would have saved (my MIL) the money. :(

first the pros: i purchased this warmer specifically because i read in other reviews it fit the Comotomo bottles and i can confirm that it does indeed accommodate them. it's also a nice, modern looking little gadget.

as of now, i'm glad it's small and nice looking because all that it's doing is taking up counter space. first, although it fits the Comotomo bottles, the Comotomo bottles are thick, squishy plastic it takes at least 15-20 min to warm milk in a Comotomo with the Kiinde Kozii. to resolve the issue i began heating milk in the Medela bottles i received with my breast pump which cut down considerably on the time (8-10 minutes). now, if the breast milk was frozen, again heating the milk was a pain especially if it was over 3 ounces.

additionally, checking the milk was an issue. once the warmer is, well... warming, and at 3 am your fussy, hungry baby is getting more and more impatient you begin to get a bit impatient and must take the bottle out to see if, by some miracle, it's finally warmed. since it's probably not, you want to put it back in the warmer although the instructions say not to... and why do they say not to? because it will overflow. not enough to make a huge mess but enough to make you worry about the fact that it's plugged into an electrical outlet. and you can't just reset it it has to go through the whole cycle before the water goes down and you can put the bottle back in.

overall, it just takes too dang long to heat up. i can throw some water in a Pyrex dish, nuke it for 2 minutes, place a bottle in the heated water for another 2 minutes and BAM! warm milk in a bottle. easy, peasy and mess-free.

i think if time isn't an issue for you, it's probably a good warmer. but we're the type of parents (and my son is the type of baby) that needs quicker results than the Kiinde Kozii can offer.

I always do a lot of research before buying anything. Sometimes, too much research... But I like to buy the best and always want to find a 'deal'. My research on the best bottle warmer brought me to the Kiinde Kozii.

I bought it and was incredibly happy with it. It was a 'deal' in spite of the premium price over other bottle warmers, because it was just so good and convenient (while it worked). I purchased it a month before our baby was born, and so we've only really used it for a total of 2 months at this point. Like I said, it was easy to use, convenient, and we all really liked it even our nanny was a fan. It does take a bit longer to warm up the milk than if you use a microwave but that's the whole point! To warm up the milk in a safe manner.

The problem we ran into is that, out of nowhere, the timer just started getting stuck around the two minute mark. This doesn't happen every time, which makes it even more frustrating because it's completely unpredictable. The whole point of the timer is to set it and forget it, so that you can be with your baby changing diapers, soothing, or doing whatever you need to do while the bottle is warming and once it's ready: "ding!" you know you can start the feeding. But if the timer gets stuck, the bottle just sits there getting warmer and warmer. If your baby isn't screaming his head off for milk, it's easy to let that warmer go... And by the time you realize the timer has gotten stuck, you are left with an overheated bottle, milk that's too hot to use, and a hungry baby that now needs to wait even longer to eat while you prepare the next bottle.

Overall, I would have given this 5 stars if we hadn't run into any issues. If you get this warmer and it works for you, then you should love it. But after an issue like this on our unit, I am returning the product. On that front, customer service has been stellar.

I originally considered this one of those unnecessary baby purchases, but after a week of being up at night with baby, and having to wait 15ish minutes to warm a bottle the old fashioned way (boil water, sit bottle in pot), I added this to my cart. Even 5 minutes less of baby crying for her bottle made this a worthwhile purchase, it feels much safer to use when I am half awake at night, and gives me a bottle at a consistent temp every time. It also has a small footprint, which keeps your kitchen from looking like a baby store blew up in it.

I only took off one star because the usage instructions state that if you fill it up with too little water, it will automatically shut off. This would be fine if you could reset it and get it working again, except that it only allows you to do reset 2-3 times (can't recall). Apparently, after the 3rd time, the manual states it will stop working permanently. I can understand the safety reasons behind this, but would've appreciated knowing this before I made my purchase.

Nonetheless, this is still my first pick for a warmer.

This is a great little device. It makes warming the bottle easy as we all know there is enough going on without worrying about formula temp. I have tried other products at less than $60 and have been disappointed. With this thing you don't have to constantly refill the water, don't have to worry about overheating, and don't need to constantly unplug. Just set the dial to the time and wait. This fits thee Tommee Tippee bottles.
