i've had my naturepedic for 2 months now and am really happy with it. i like that it is waterproof so my son will not be without a bed if he has a leak. it is really firm, which we like because we think it is good support for his growing body. it fits the stokke perfectly. we already have a set of stokke crib covers that came with the stokke when we bought it and they all fit this mattress perfectly.

there is no weird smell from this bed when we received it. the mattress does not overheat his body as he sleeps, that i really like as well.

Very firm mattress, to the point of not being very cozy at all. We found a very soft mattress pad to put on top of it and underneath the sheets and once we did that our son slept much better.

I really want to get a mattress for our Stokki that's not made of foam with anti-flammable chemicals in (which the standard Stokki has)... but this mattress isn't a good alternative in my book because it is seriously so hard. Yes, cribs need to be plenty firm for SIDS reasons, but this is extreme.

I originally had the Colgate mattress and my daughter wouldn't sleep on it, presumably because it was comparable to a slab of concrete. I got this one, hoping it would be a little softer, but it is NOT softer by any means. It weighs a lot more than the Colgate mattress, and doesn't fit into the Stokke crib as well. It's a super tight fit. I'm keeping it though, because the baby sleeps with me anyways, and I'm sick of shipping mattresses back.

I have no idea how comfortable this mattress is, since I am not the baby who sleeps on it. I will say my daughter sleeps very well on this mattress, so I'm happy with the purchase. It's also cleaned up very well when accidents have happened. My only complaint is that it is much much thinner than the mattress on the crib at my mom's house. I've often wondered if it makes much of a difference in terms of comfort.
