Dandelion Reusables Infant Bowl and Spoon

I was given this set as a gift and was very excited because I loved the idea that it was made from corn. I went to wash the pieces before using them and the bowl completely snapped in half. I called the company where it was purchased from and they very graciously replaced it for me. I then came to realize that the pieces just can't stand up to any heat. They begin to melt under hot tap water. I don't know about anyone else, but I like to wash my dishes in hot water. They are too delicate to be practical. All in all a really nice idea, but they just aren't worth the money.

These spoons are great especially the toddler ones because it makes it easy for a toddler to feed themselves when they are learning. They have a nice deep center but they are also wide enough to hold the food without spilling. My daughter loves them!

I'm grateful that there is a company out there trying to improve on the plastics we see in baby gear these days. BPA, PVC, all that stuff...it becomes very daunting trying to find items that are safe but still appropriate for babies. I use this set on my 7 month old, who likes to chew the spoon and also grab the bowl more than eat the food in it. I plan on getting a couple of more sets. I just wish they had different color options.
