we have a 3 1/2 yr old and 18 month old, and this will be super handy when we eat out b/c i can cut food for the little one without making a mess or having to sit there with a knife and fork while the 3 1/2 year is screaming for attention. when you dine with two toddlers, efficiency has great value!these cut much more nicely than regular kitchen shears ! wish there were more products like this that weren't so expensive :(
