Playtex Flip Top Snacker with Twist 'N Click, Color May Vary
Pros:
1) Twist and lock lid: no more worries of my toddler pulling off the lid while taking his hand out of the mug or him pulling the lid off on his own and food spilling all over the floor or car seats as a result.
2) Stay fresh lid which you can hear "snap" when you put it on the top and you can twist it to keep on the base so you don't have to worry about losing the lid.
3) Affordable (1/4 the price of a Munchie Mug)-same price as other not so good snack catcher cups so you can buy multiple ones and not break the bank.
Cons:
1) Sometimes if you try to put the stay fresh lid on or take it off too hastily it comes off, but you just snap it right back onto the handle if that happens.
2) If the stay fresh lid is not attached to the bottom of the base, then you don't have a full handle and would need to attach it to a stroller, carseat, highchair, etc with a leash like BooginHead SippiGrip, Blue/Green/White which can wrap around the cup instead of one like the Baby Buddy Secure-A-Toy, Navy/Blue which needs to loop through a handle.
3) Still not completely mess proof. If you have crumbs or small pieces and your child turns this cup over and shakes it, the crumbs will fall out as might the small pieces. But definitely much less messier than if the entire lid came off, and the shaking doesn't happen too often with my child.
Updated 9-30-12: A potential consumer asked me to test out these snack cups with smaller snacks such as Cheerios. What I've discovered is the following:
The slots on the lid where your child reaches in is graduated. It is larger towards the rim and narrows towards the center. If your child is a shaker (likes to shake the snack mugs upside down) then there is potential for the Cheerios to fall out from the large end of the slots. Cheerios are just small enough and the slot is just large enough at the rim that if you shake the cup like a salt shaker then smaller Cheerios can fall out from the larger end. This is not an issue with the Munchkins lids as the slots are consistently slim. Thanks for helping me find a flaw to these mugs! But my son is not a shaker (at least not upside down) so for me it would not really be an issue for me. But because I know that Cheerios is a popular snack (this is what I started out with with my son as well), this could be an issue for many. Therefore I have subtracted a star bring down my final rating to a 4 out 5. I've posted a photo with a Cheerio that is not large enough to fall through the slot on its own sitting in the large end of the slot to give an idea of how large the largest end of the slot is.With my first child I used the Munchkin snack cups because that it all they had at the time but this Playtex Flip Top is a definite improvement. The Munchkin snack cup doesn't come with a lid so your snacks will go stale in your diaper bag and you have to remember to empty an refill. I love that this comes with a snap on lid and keeps everything fresh. The best feature of this cup is that it's a twist on lid so my child can no longer pull the top off and dump all of the snacks!

We love these for our son! We started off with the Munchkin brand snack cups, but after repeated instances of snacks all over the floor and car seat, we found these. He could get the lid off of the Munchkin ones too easily. The tops of these screw on. I'm sure he'll figure that out soon, but for now, these work so great. AND they have a lid. I don't know how many times I dumped snacks out of the old snack cups because they'd gotten stale. The lid on these just pops up so you can rotate it and snaps securely on the bottom of the cup. It stays attached to the perforated screw top so you don't have to keep track of the lid. I will say that my son has figured out how to rip the lid off, but most of the time, it stays attached without him messing with it. I don't know why I don't see more kids with these. They are the best out there!Read Best Reviews of Playtex Flip Top Snacker with Twist 'N Click, Color May Vary Here
I've a few different versions of this product and this one is by far the best. My 2 year old son loves to carry it around and feed his 1 year old brother goldfish crackers. He has to work to get the snacks out, which is a good thing or else he tends to grab hand fulls that just end up smashed on the carpet. The game changer for this product is the lid. The way it flips to snap onto the bottom and easily moves to the top. It does come disconnected a bit easily and if I leave it on while my kids have the cup I end up picking it up off the floor or digging it out of the couch. So if they are using the cup in the house I remove the lid and save it for when we leave home or for storage. Speaking of storage! The lid is also nice that I can store snacks in the cup without them getting stale. Overall great product. I sadly lost my first one and have since purchased two more, one for each of my little ones. I was disappointed on the colors. I received one blue/yellow and one pink/green. With girls any color goes, but with having boys I would have preferred not having a pink one.Want Playtex Flip Top Snacker with Twist 'N Click, Color May Vary Discount?
I like that this snack cup has a sealing lid. However, the lid is hard to seal and then it does not stay sealed. The grooves to hold the two pieces needs to be deeper.AVENT SEALING DISCS 6/PACK

I'm not sure what to say to make these exciting but they work just as described. I like to pump into the bottle on the go and making sure my milk doesn't spill out is key. After several attempts to use the nipples and caps, I decided I needed sealing discs. They work great. Make sure you also use all the parts to the cap though or else you will have spilt milk.Read Best Reviews of AVENT SEALING DISCS 6/PACK Here

Exactly what I was looking for. The weekly planner pages with detachable groceries list is just what I needed. I can hand the book to family members to have them pencil in what they want to eat during the week :) I don't have to rack my brain for fresh ideas as much and they get to eat what they crave :)I especially liked the Family Member Food Preference (Likes/Dislikes) pages (includes a separate column for Allergy/Food Sensitivity as well as Symptoms and Treatments)to keep track of ingredients to avoid as well as the Favorite Family Recipes pages (to record the recipe name and cookbook title and reference page)for finding recipes I have not committed to memory quickly and easily :)

Naturepedic Non Waterproof Organic Cotton Flannel Pad Crib Fitted

After having conducted tons of research on mattresses and mattress pads, I bought two of these flannel pads to go with our naturepedic mattress (the seamless 252 double firmness, which we love). The mattress is already waterproof, so we did not need a waterproof pad. In fact, I preferred a non-waterproof pad to increase breathability and less chance for a sweaty back for our baby. We also bought the naturepedic airflow pad, and two organic sheets. All products seem to be made well, except for these flannel pads. When opening up the package, poor stitching was the first thing that caught my eye. Little pieces of elastic were coming out from the elastic rim throughout the entire seam. When I opened up the second pad we ordered, it had the exact same problem. I was hoping it was just one poor item, but they both had the same issue. I had done extensive research and knew that it was going to be hard to find another non waterproof organic crib pad that was not too padded. I had found a good option with Greenbudsbaby, but theirs is quilted and much more padded than the naturepedic one, which I think for an infant is not a good option. I decided to try and stick with the pads I ordered and washed one pad to fit on the mattress. Then after one wash and tumble dry low (as it says on instructions), the pad was still far too big to fit around the mattress. I decided to go for the hot water option and the tumble dry hot option. After 3 cycles, the pad came out with a good size for the flannel part (which I love; the fabric is great) but the cotton sides are far too wide and long to fit properly around the mattress. The excess material on the sides seems like it could be a safety hazard for the baby. I think this pad seems to be made for a 8 or 9 inc mattress and not for the 6 inch mattress that we bought. Really too bad since we love all their other products.Update a couple of hours later: After having washed the second pad -because I was still hoping that perhaps the first one was defectivethe second pad seems a lot better. The reason is that the elastic is a lot more tight than the first pad. In the first pad, the loose elastic is a huge factor in creating the excess fabric on the sides. The second pad is still more appropriate for an 7 or 8 inch mattress I would say, but at least it has a better fit than the first pad. After a close up look, we also discovered that the stitching of the second pad is a lot better than the first pad. So overall, the first pad I would call defective and give a 1 star but the second one is pretty good and I love the cotton flannel, is is so comfy, I would give it four stars (still not five stars since the fit on the sides could be more snug). So, I would have given the total product 2.5 stars, just because I feel I got one good pad and one defective pad for a total of 120 dollars (which is expensive if just one pad is good)

It took me a while to find this, a breathable non waterproof crib mattress cover. Why would anyone need a waterproof crib mattress cover if your crib mattress is already waterproof? So your baby sleeps in more plastic? It is slightly padded and fits snug around the mattress. Perfect!

The fabric is heavyweight, but she stitching is poor and side seams uneven, making it a poor fit on the mattress, especially with shrinkage. I would have exchanged it, but I needed one quickly. It would be better to make this as a flat sheet with elastic strip corners, or to put some stretch in the corners and/or enlarge the main panel. Then again, perhpas the one I received was defective. In my opinion, poor workmanship makes this a waste of this very useful fabric.Nuby 3 Pack Soft Edge Spoon, Colors May Vary

Well, again I am pleased with Nuby. These spoons are much better than the metal Gerber ones that are practically flat, so the food just falls off onto the bib. These have the perfect sized and shaped little bowl on the spoon that is just right for feeding your little one. Plus, they do change color with heat, a big plus. They will stain, as will anything plastic, but plastic booster for the washer helps with that.

While it may be unfair to compare a mass-produced, plastic (BPA-free!) spoon with the hand-forged spoons of the Ancient Romans, the golden spoons of medieval kings or even display-case demitasse spoons featuring tiny pewter eagles alighting on the handle or other such collectible spoon frippery; the Nuby Soft Edge Spoon nonetheless holds a firm place in the parent's spoon arsenal (placing just behind wooden spoons that serve as a drumsticks for impromptu kitchen jam sessions). The size of the bowl of the spoon is nearly perfect for small mouths that are just beginning to learn about the whole eating thing. As advertised, the spoons are soft enough for tiny gums and for scraping up drips on chins. The temperature indicator is very helpful. Although the long handles make the spoon easier to use, be warned that they also invite karate chops from flailing hands that will send a glop of food catapult-style onto your wall or ceiling.
As other reviewers have noted, orange foods (carrots, sweet potato, Cheetos, etc.) will stain the white parts of the spoon. If this bothers you, imagine a future archaeological excavation deriving from your long-abandoned Nuby spoon the dietary habits of early Man. "They lived in desperate times," the professor will say, "food had to be grown, shipped, purchased, prepared and inserted into facial orifice #7 instead of mashed and beamed directly into the digestive tract by our robot-farm-slaves: see how the food product has left a residue on the eating implement." Cue "ahhs" from amazed students.
All-in-all, a good spoon considering the competition. My son has been using the Gerber spoons until someone gave us these as a gift. He loves these. The shape of the spoon tip fit in his mouth better and are more practical for more watery foods. They will be perfect when he starts to self-feed.
