Kidz Med Pacifier Medicine Dispenser - Kidz Med PCFR-MD

Kidz Med Pacifier Medicine Dispenser - Kidz Med PCFR-MDI don't understand why they don't have this little device at every single hospital, ER, or any place where little kids might have to drink some medicine.

This was the only way I found to get tylenol, motrin, antibiotics, or cough medicine into my baby... They just use their natural sucking instinct, and slurp down the medicine with no problem. It might take 10-15 minutes, but to me it is worth it to wait a little longer rather than wrestle my kid to the ground, pin their arms and legs down, and get their mouth open to squeeze a little medicine into them.

There is also a little plunger to help them along a little bit, but be careful because if you push on it too hard or too much (like when the dropper is full) it might make them gag on the medicine.

I bought this to use with my 2 month old to dispense a medicine he needs daily. The idea is great but this product is not really suitable for younger babies with smaller mouths. The part that goes in the mouth is about the same size as a 18-month old's pacifier, so it fills a smaller baby's mouth and it's hard for him to suck on and get the meds. It's also quite stiff, so it's hard to suck on too. The plunger sticks a little so if you try to use it to push the meds through, baby ends up with a mouth full of meds and gags or spits it out. The reservoir for the meds is quite small so if you use a syringe to measure out meds and squirt it into the reservoir it can splash out easily. Also you need to hold the pacifier with one hand when filling it up, so you only have one hand to work with. I'm hoping that as baby gets bigger this will become more useful, although the 5ml capacity is quite small. For now I am using a nipple from a baby bottle (which has a flat cap so it can sit on the counter while I measure meds and fill it up).

Our 4 month old is on twice a day, 0.7 ml of meds. While she'll eagerly suck a dropper of tylenol, she absolutely hates the taste of her medicine. We were using a large bottle nipple, and just putting the nipple in her mouth and then putting in her medicine. This worked well most of the time but was cumbersome.

This pacifier is a really smart idea, and a great size. I also tried the Munchkin ones, and they seem to be made for a large volume of medicine. This one has a little straw going to the tip, so when she sucks, she gets all of the medicine. The plunger is there only if you need it or for reassurance that she got everything.

We've been using it for the last month unfortunately, she learned to reject it, but it got us over the hump and will no doubt be useful in the future. Now we use her regular pacifier (green soothie brand) and just put in half a dropperful of the medicine far back in her cheek, while her mouth is open for her pacifier. After several sucks, we do it again with the rest of the meds. Her one drop of Vitamin D goes on the pacifier first, so she also gets that. It was nicer to put the Vitamin D drop and meds in the same kidz med dispenser.

So I found the kidz med to be the best of the options, and it worked for the time that we needed it, when she was in the major tongue-thrust phase. Quality wise it is fine, no problems and still in perfect shape. The fit is very tight, so don't worry when you have to pull hard to pop things apart and pull out the plunger. Never had a single problem with leaking.

This little paci is a great idea! It is in need of improvement, though.

It is great for: babies 12 months and older, small quantities of medicine, and for occasional use

The medicine holder only holds about 2 mL and is difficult to shut once the liquid is in the holder/syringe part

The nipple is way too large for the age group that would get the most benefit from it(IMO) 0-6mos

It cannot be machine washed (I tried) or sterilized as it will warp the syringe

The nipple is made of a relatively hard plastic when compared to the soft silicone usually used in pacis

I plan to try the Munchkin Medicator next. I hope it works :)

My poor little guy has acid reflux that would really upset him as he tried to eat or sleep. He'd arch his back and belt out a yell causing mom and me no end of upset.

The pediatrician prescribed Zantac but getting that liquid in his mouth was one hurdle. Keeping it there was another. Until I learned about the Kidz Med Pacificer from KK Cool Tools. It's simple, it's easy, and it's effective: put the medicine in the reservoir, put the pacifier in baby's mouth. Done. No leaks, no spills.

FunBites Triangles - Cuts kids' food into fun-shaped bite-sized pieces . . . Great for picky eaters

FunBites Triangles - Orange - Cuts kids' food into fun-shaped bite-sized pieces . . . Great for picky eaters and bento!I am happy to report my 3 year old loves the little triangle sandwiches (she is obsessed with shapes right now) and it is less of a battle to get her to eat at lunchtime! I firmly believe that seeing some tiny shapes on her plate instead of a "big" sandwich is less intimidating for her, so she will eat the smaller pieces easier. It is also great to use with my 15 month old. The sandwich is cut all at once into bite size pieces and I can quickly get both sandwiches to them at once instead of them having to wait for me to cut it up.

It's the peak of summer, but it won't be long before school is back in session. Either way, you don't get a break from making a nice breakfast or lunch so why not make it fun? Sophia loves being surprised when I make her toast into shapes or something other than plain toast so thanks to FunBites she gets to enjoy fun toast!

This isn't my first time trying out Fun Bites. A while back I did a previous review on FunBites and just as we fell in love with them then we still love them now. This time we were sent the triangle shapes. FunBites is very simple and easy to use and easy to clean. Simply make your toast (or sandwich) and press into it with your Funbites and that's it. For toast I find it simple, it basically cuts it so you can easily tear it apart and enjoy. Once you are done you can simply rinse it off in the sink and the crumbs are easily removed. Sophia absolutely love her toast in various shapes so breakfast time is more fun and exciting for her.

Once again I had a wonderful experience with FunBites and definitely recommend them and their products. Quick shipping, quality items and a fun experience!

Neocate Jr w/ Prebiotic Fiber Vanilla Case of 4

Neocate Jr w/ Prebiotic Fiber Vanilla Case of 4My youngest child has a milk protein allergy which wasn't a problem when we were nursing. We spent months looking for the right formula and alternative milk to give her, but everything gave her painful rashes or didn't meet her nutritional requirements. The customer service and nutrition experts at Neocate are amazing. We worked through my child's needs and they suggested this product. She loves the tropical and vanilla flavors. The bad part is that the cans aren't that big and they're very expensive compared to other formulas.

Gerber Cereal, 16-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 6)

Gerber Cereal, Rice Single Grain with VitaBlocks, 16-Ounce BoxesI unwisely purchased this 6-pack of 16-ounce boxes when I first introduced solids into my baby's diet. It turned out that rice cereal (typically recommended as the first solid food to start with) causes severe constipation in my daughter. So, after 2 weeks, I had to switch to oatmeal cereal (also, the Gerber brand), which was instantly a great hit with my baby!

So, I recommend that you first buy one box, if you are only just beginning to introduce solids, to see if rice cereal is the right first solid food for your baby.

I am sure it works just fine for many babies; and I have no complaints whatsoever with regards to how quickly the product arrived or the condition it arrived in (very nicely packaged).

My 6 month old daughter is a pretty good eater and we have tried this as well as the Gerber DHA and Beechnut oatmeals. She likes all three, but I find this is the best value and since we use it every day, it is nice to be able to stock up on it vs. have to buy it at a higher price every time I buy groceries.

The only reason I wouldn't give this 5 stars is that the pouring spout sometimes makes it difficult to measure (i.e. too much spills out at once).

My newborn loves this stuff and it helps out his reflux issues quite substantially. I like the "fish food", flaky consistency better than the grainy-esque cereal that is out there because the flakes dissolve quicker in the milk.

I'm very upset and disappointed! I ordered a pack of 6 Gerber Rice Cereal which is shown in a box version but was shipped the new plastic container version! I ordered this product online because it appeared to be the old style in the box which is hard to find in stores and now I am stuck with cereal that my baby cannot eat because it is not returnable! The new plastic container has a different type of rice and my baby cannot digest it. You need to update your product picture!

Boon Orb Bottle Warmer,Green

Boon Orb Bottle Warmer,GreenWith a newborn, having a bottle warmer is essential. Purchased several other bottle warmers and had to return them, because they did not have the auto shut off function, which is especially dangerous in the wee hours of the morning if you forget to switch off or unplug.

Unlike other bottle warmers, the Boon warmer steams the bottle, rather than boils it. You end up using less water and the bottle gets warmed up quick.

The only setback is that the you have to be careful grabbing the bottle out because the steam is really hot. Happy with my purchase so far, but hope the product holds up. Will update in the future.

I like how fast this bottle warmer is, but to use it you have to fill the water each time. Not only do you have to fill it each time but you have to carefully measure the water that you add to the machine. When you baby is crying because he/she is hungry and you have to hold the baby while you prepare the bottle it is not ideal to waste time measuring and pouring water just to warm a bottle. Also if the bottle isn't warm enough after the first time around, you have to wait 10 minutes before using it again (while your baby is crying even louder now). So, no I would not recomment this item.

definitely worth the $25 i paid (on amazon last month). it only takes a few minutes and heats up bottles to not much warmer than room temperature, but that is fine for us. it does have an auto shut-off, but if you leave the bottle in the warmer it will get too hot.

I purchased this warmer to help my mom out cause she has problems with her fingers and cannot tighten the bottle cap. It works well but I noticed if the formula is refrigerated it brings it to room temperature.

I delayed on purchasing a bottle warmer until I saw this one in a magazine. It's so easy and simple!! I like the one button push and it heats up the bottle great!!! You just have to try a few times to see how much water you need to put in according to the bottle you are using. I purchased it for $25 on Amazon...I guess the price went up.

Gerber Graduates Yogurt Melts, Mixed Berries, 1-Ounce Pouches (Pack of 8)

Gerber Graduates Yogurt Melts, Mixed Berries, 1-Ounce PouchesMy 21-month-old son LOVES Yogurt Melts, and I think they're a good way to get some active cultures into his system, since he inexplicably decided he no longer liked YoBaby. However, they're awfully pricey -at my local grocery store, they're about $3 a packet, and some online sellers are charging twice that.

I won't buy them often, but they're a nice treat that's fairly healthy and something that's fairly easy to pack in the diaper back (that's not the standard Cheerios!).

The baby likes these as much as the happy melts, but when I read the ingredients I noticed they contain gelatin, however the label does not say from what. So, if you are kosher or halal, you may not want to get these ones.

I bought these for my son and he didn't care for the berry flavor, he did eat the peach. They are a little sour and while they do dissolve, it kind of sucks all of the moisture out of their little mouths quick so have juice handy. Also, they get a little gross in humid weather so use an airtight container or be sure to close the bag tight. My son will eat them, but prefers gerber's apple chunks or a real cup of yogurt.

I love these yogurt melts! They were both my kids first 'finger foods' due to the wonderful melting quality they have. My kids are now ages 1 and 2 and they both love these as a treat. As they're a little expensive, I use them to 'buy' myself some time when making dinner. Have each kid sit at the table and give them a small handful to work on while I work on what I need to. Even my son (who usually crashes through food) sits quietly and eats these one at a time until they're all gone. Instant silence!

Definitely a staple in my pantry. I like to purchase these on Amazon when they fall to a price low (~$20) to save a bit of $$$.

My daughter loves these snacks. I always keep some in my diaper bag for when she needs something little to munch on. They are great for restaurants when you are waiting for your order.
