Thermos Foogo Phases Leak Proof Stainless Steel Sippy Cup, 7 Ounce, Blue/Yellow

We've been using this cup for 3 years now for my daughter and will be buying the blue one for my son. It's a great cup that just needs to be taken care of. I've NEVER seen anything get into the spout. I do wish there was a cover, but it's fine. You can definitely get your finger in there to get it clean and get the "gunk" out. Also, the only reason it will leak is if the parts are wet when you put them together. Same as a baby bottle. Just need to wipe them off first. Then tighten it and if it leaks, just loosen up the cap ever so slightly to let some air through and you can create a seal and it won't leak.

The best part is that my son is 9 months and HATES a normal hard spout sippy cup but is able to drink from this soft spout one and loves it.

I am really excited that I was able to find an actual sippy cup that is leak proof. I love the stainless steal, sweat proof, and that its insulated. Another thing i love about this cup is the design of the lid. I have always used playtex insulated cups until i came upon this one! With this lid u can actually clean ur childs cup properly. I always hated cleaning every sippy cup i have came upon because i felt like it was not properly clean and my child was drinking out of a dirty cup. The other cups are very hard to get the spout properly cleaned. especially the ones with the hard spout. I know this cup is pricey but i will only use these from now on! I love it. And another thing the reason i came about these cups is because i had bought the playtex insulated cups but my son wouldn't take them and I was at target and handed him one of this cups after the spout was cleaned and he instantly took to it! This cup is cheaper at target. it is 12.99 at target. So if u can buy this one from target. However the 10 ounce cup on here is cheaper online from amazon then from target. the 10 ounce is 13.99 at target. Love these cups!

Foogo has made changes to this cup, which in my opinion make it so much easier to use and more leak-proof. I had one of the older models and recently bought a new one at a store. I was so thrilled with the new one that I came to Amazon to get another one. The picture on Amazon is the newer cup, but the product they send is the older model...a little misleading Amazon. Not happy. I would give the new model 4 stars (maybe even 5).

I bought two items...

"Thermos Foogo Phases Leak Proof Stainless Steel Sippy Cup" and the "Thermos Foogo Phases Leak Proof Stainless Steel Sippy Cup, 10 Ounce".

However, there are many design flaws in the products, these include:

1. LEAK These two items are supposed to have a interchangeable lid system. However, when i change the lids they leak quiet badly. Hugely disappointed as i don't want to have to find the correct lid each time.

2. NOT ENOUGH LIQUID FLOW The leak proof valve doesn't allow enough liquid to flow, so the child must suck hard to get a small amount of liquid.

3. LOTS OF PIECES TO LOOSE -There is too many bits that need to be constructed. You need the steel cup, then the rim/holder, then the seal which connects the the rubber, then the lid. Oh and you don't want to loose ANY parts otherwise it will leak or be unusable.

4 BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE and the worst part, i contacted their customer support about the interchangeable lids leaking and i got no response, maybe because they are getting alot of complaints.

This bag is beautiful and very well made with sturdy material and easy to clean material inside. Lots of pockets inside. The only problem in my opinion is the single snap magnetic closure. I would prefer a zippered closure since this is a bag of big capacity and therefore can hold and organize many things. I don't like the insecure feel of a single magnetic snap. Also, the manufacturer should include sturdy bottom insert that is removable to provide additional structure to the bag.

My daughter doesn't eat very much food in one sitting she eats healthy (so she isn't super picky, just doesn't eat a lot). This flavor has been the one thing that she will almost always eat the whole pouch of in one go. I tasted it and think it's good too!

My little one was not so keen on fresh fruit right off the bat, so these came in handy. My son got tired of the spoon you attach so he just sucks them right down. I keep some on hand now for outings so he doesn't end up eating junk (fries, chips, etc).

They are also great to mix with yogurt, or even milk, when ready. Plus it is a great way to get organic fruits, especially if your local store doesn't have a great selection, like mine.

This message is for concerned parents....I contacted Earth's Best today, and the rep indicated that BPA free packaging in their baby food jars began in October 2011. Hope this is helpful.

Okay. Im a very cautious parent, but the fact that there is BPA in the lids doesnt affect the food or the quality of it. BPA is an element in plastics that is excess estrogen and its recently become known that its not beneficial to let it enter our bodies. However, BPA is only activated once its been heated and since you arent heating the metal lid, the BPA never enters the food. EB baby food is spectacular especially since its jar food vs frozen/fresh. There are lots of yummy flavors and your baby will probably like most of them. Both of my sons go crazy over the EB varieties and I stick by itbuying it by the case and using the amazon subscription option makes it soo much cheaper than retail! Again... dont freak out over BPA in the lids lol.

For all those concerned about the BPA . . . I contacted them directly and was told that as of October 2011 there is no longer BPA in any amount in the lids. I recommended to them that they promote that on their website to make it clear. Otherwise, we love this company and their products, and my babies both love them. Earth's Best Organic 2nd Apples & Apricots, 4 Ounce Jars (Pack of 12)

The funny thing about this flavor for me is that my preschooler keeps fighting the baby for it. He loves the taste and asks for it by name. The baby seems to share his opinion, and eats a ton of this one whenever I offer it. We have many flavors of baby food but this is the only one that has elicited this kind of reaction. Good stuff!

Earth's Best Baby Food

My favorite brand of baby food by far. Both my son (who is now over 2 years old) and my daughter (now almost one) have used a wide variety of foods from Earth's Best. I am a huge proponent of feeding children primarily organic and/or locally grown foods to promote proper nutrition and growth. But I do not feel that all organic brands are equal. I've tried many varieties (including store brands and others only available through internet purchase) and found that Earth's Best is by far the best for your money.

Apples and Apricots

A huge huge hit with both my son and my daughter. My daughter is now eating the baby food in the house and tends to prefer veggies over fruits so far, but this is one she will eat on a pretty regular basis. My son also loved this variety as well. I like that it's a little different than just plain apples and the jar size is big enough to sustain her through an entire meal with a little cereal on the side.

The packaging is really the deal here. It's really glorified applesauce, but it's organic, convenient, and tasty. My boys, 4 and 2yrs, love them. Grape might be their favorite flavor, but they eat them all. It is perfect for snacks in the car, traveling, or lunches, because it doesn't require refrigeration, is almost mess free, and is resealable. They unscrew the cap and suck it out then reseal it, no messy cups of applesauce floating around the car or inside their lunch bags. I love it!

Earth's Best TenderCare Chlorine Free Baby Wipes

I really like the wipes. I tried them after I could no longer get Pampers Clean n Go wipes because I like to use them on my baby's face when we are eating out. The foam a little when you are wiping which is fine but every once in a while two wipes are glued together with a little dot instead of just folded together. I'm assuming they did it so you pull the next wipe up but it is nearly impossible to separate the two wipes with one hand. So they are great wipes that a periodically annoying.

Skip Hop Zoo Pack Little Kid Backpack

The backpack itself is adorable. I got it for my daughter who is in Kindergarten and she loves it. The only problem, and it is a significant one, is that it's not big enough to hold a single standard 8.5"x11" size folder. Which is quite disappointing for both of us. She really wants to wear it to school, but can't because her homework folder won't fit. If they would have made it just a couple of inches larger, the folder would fit perfectly and it would probably be the best backpack ever. That couple of inches difference makes it unusable for us.

If you don't need to fit anything in there that's as large as an unfolded sheet of standard size paper in there, I would recommend this backpack.

This bag is super cute and seems well-made but it is small... I bought it for preschool for my 4-year old but I would say it's more appropriate for a toddler sleepover bag or something along those lines. It is much too short to fit a folder and you'd have to fold up a piece of paper or art project to fit it inside. He loves it so I think I'll keep it but I might have to buy a different one for preschool. If I had bought it as a toddler carryabout bag I would have given it 5 stars for that purpose!

I bought the dog backpack for my two year old son. He's about 35" tall and it's still slightly big for him, but at least it will last him a while. It's absolutely adorable and it's perfect for short trips. It holds a few diapers, some wipes, a toy and a snack with no problem. One of my favorite features is the cupholder on the side for sippy cups. I was initially a little worried about the material because it is so light in color. I figured it would be filthy in no time, but to my surprise, it wipes clean very easily. I looked at a lot of toddler backpacks before I bought this one and I'm happy with my purchase.

I love this cute little back pack. My son is 1 and we use it to carry his daily supplies back and forth to daycare and as a substitute diaper bag. He likes the bright colors and he knows it's his bag. We get lots of compliments on it where ever we go. It's the perfect size for a toddler and the straps are adjustable. It's sturdy and well made, and though it's on the small side, it holds just the right amount of stuff, (which for us is a lot since I'm an over-packer anyway). The name-tag inside didn't bleed and run when I wrote my son's name on it like most fabric tags do. The front pocket is great for the things you need more frequently like kleenux, and small toys, and it has a loop you can hook your keys onto. The side pouch is the perfect fit for a sippy cup. I so glad I got this; I just ordered the matching lunchbox and if I'm half as happy with it as I am with this backpack I'll be really pleased.

Two weeks after I posted this review, and after barely 2 months of use, the zipper for the main compartment broke. I was heartbroken. I searched everywhere for the receipt so I could call for a possible replacement, but no luck. I spent an hour trying to repair it, which to my amazement, I eventually did, but now I feel that it's fragile and I'm waiting for it to break again. So I wanted to add this warming. Do not over-pack and stretch the zipper, it's only plastic and will stretch and bend. Keep an eye on the teeth as you can see them separating and that is your warning of impending breakage.

I know this is made for little kids, but if I was the maker of this product I think that I would use a metal zipper for the main compartment as they are stronger and can take a lot more abuse than a plastic one.

I still love and would recommend this product, I'd just be a little more careful with it.

It's now been 9 months since I repaired the zipper and I haven't had a single problem with it since then. And, we LOVE the lunch box just as much as the backpack.

OXO Tot Divided Plate

I'd been looking for a small divided non-disneyfied plate for a while, so when I saw this, I preordered it. Was getting sick of washing 4-5 bowls after every meal. It's a nice size (our tot just turned 2) and my picky eater was visibly impressed when delivered her first meal on this plate. (exact words: "ooooo")

We don't use the removable rim, I found it not terribly useful, and we revert back to bowls for messy things like mac and cheese, since the half moon shape is hard to chase food around in anyway. I like that it is designed to grip a bit on a table, but will still slide a little too, not like a suction cup. A few months in, it seems to be holding up well in the diswasher-it has a smooth surface so things don't get stuck on or stain easily, hopefully it will hold up over many washings. I would still really love to find something similar but in something non-plastic, but this will do for now. We will probably order another eventually.

One year update: back to buy spare. The plate has held up VERY well considering how much we use it. It has scratched a bit (my fault, I was using a sharp knife to cut food directly on it) but other than that it's great. Now that we have other larger divided plates, I've come to appreciate the smaller portion sizes on this plate and the dipping section in the center. I have wished *many* times over the past year that this plate came with a lid, so I could use it as a portable lunchbox or store leftovers easily. But still overall a very good product.

Shown in the video are two toddler plates the Oxo Tot plate and Fresh Baby plate (Fresh Baby Plate and So Easy Toddler Food Cookbook Value Pack, English). They are both divided into sections representing different food groups for a healthy, balanced meal for a child.

Neither plate gives an indication of the appropriate age range for these recommended portions. (Fresh Baby has no indication; Oxo indicates 6 months+). I have been using them for my 3-year old. The plate holds less than the normal amount of food I try to feed her at each meal...but she never finishes what I give her, so perhaps the plate portions are correct for a 3-year old.

Although the Fresh Baby plate looks a lot bigger, they contain about the same amount of food. Fresh Baby has a big lip, so that it just looks bigger from the top. A few notes:

OXO Tot:

1. Made of #1 plastic (made in China).

2. Microwave and dishwasher safe.

3. BPA, PVC, phthalate-free.

4. Weighted, rubberized base to minimize slipping on the table.

Fresh Baby:

1. Made of 100% melamine (made in China).

2. Lead, BPA, phthalate-free.

3. NOT microwave safe. Dishwasher safe.

4. Offers a "value pack" that includes a toddler food cookbook.

I probably would not buy either of these again now that I am better informed about portion control, and my daughter no longer finds them fun. However, I would recommend the Oxo Tot plate if you are looking to buy one. I like Oxo's weighted rubberized base, which is slightly more effective at keeping the plate in place than the Fresh Baby plate. It is also microwave-safe (Fresh Baby is not) and more modern looking for your kitchen, if you are looking to minimize cartoon character take-over of your cupboards.

If you are not comfortable with either material (melamine or #1 plastic), I would recommend the divided plate by Corelle which looks/feels like a "grown-up" plate yet is much more difficult to break.

Is a divided plate a necessity in your kitchen? Probably not. It's more for fun than anything else, and it may perhaps ease your mind about how much your toddler/preschooler should be eating. It's also a nice reminder at each meal to try to provide foods from different food groups.

I like the partitions on the plate because it keeps the foods from tainting each other. Now, I'm not so sure if my daughter really appreciates the partitions. Also, she has not yet made use of the "lip" that is meant to aid with the scooping, but I still really like the product.

I have no children, well I do but they are grown. This was suggested by my dog's vet, the Pumpkin settles their stomach and the apple is just a bonus but she gets a couple tablespoons mixed in her food and she loves it. Yes, I know SPOILED.

My 7-month old grandson did not particularly care for this item. It contains onions and that is new for him. He may acquire a taste for it a little later on, but for now we'll stick with the green beans & rice.

ZoLi BOT XL Straw Sippy Cup 9 oz.

I got 2 of these cups after buying 3 smaller ones for my 18 month old daughter. At 2 years old she still loves them! We only drink water out of them so when a little liquid that is held up in the straw drips out it's really no big deal. It does happen sometimes but it's a straw and you can't really avoid it. It's such a great cup but I gave it 4 stars because I find that the thread on the cup is too short. If you don't twist the cap on perfectly straight and aligned with the threads you have leakswhich makes sense. But I think it wouldn't happen as easily if the threads were higher. I think it's great anyway :)

These are the best of the soft straw toddler sippy cups we could find. They are not 100% leakproof, but after trying every single cup on the market I think that is an impossible find. We did buy 3 cups and each one leaks a different amount, which is interesting. For us, the pink one leaked the least, the orange was middle of the road, and the blue was the worst of the bunch, but that is probably not consistent. Anyway, the reason I gave it 4 out of 5 stars though was because of all the cups that claim to be leakproof, this is really just two parts!!! some of the cups we tried have many parts that must be aligned properly and it can take 10 minutes to make a bottle. This is "leakproof" enough and only two parts. And I find the straw section (which is attached to the handle in one piece) very easy to clean by hand (it also goes in the dishwasher). We still have to clean up dripping milk from the floor on occassion, but I haven't found a better cup.

I actually have a straw cup from my hospital when giving birth that looks almost exactly like a Zoli (only without the weighted straw) and it was a lifesaver while I was on that hospital bed, as well as recovering at home. As soon as my friend showed me this Zoli cup, I knew it was the greatest solution to avoiding sippy cups. My daughter took a little to learn how to sip from a straw. It helped that I ordered the same color as my hospital silicon straw cup and I demonstrated sipping with my cup, while I gave her her own Zoli one. She picked it up very well. The cup is easy to clean, it's high quality. It leaks a little if you tilt it or drop it. The straw is enclosed with a cross like slit at the tip to prevent too much leakage (or from babies drinking too fast). The weighted straw is a genius touch. I called the manufacturer today to inquire on how to clean the straw and they answered right away and are sending me a free straw cleaner. This customer service is what prompted me to come back to Amazon to leave a review for this product and their customer support.

These cups are fantastic the are easy for our young daughter to hold and to drink from and other than a few drips here and there really don't leak very much.

My only warning / complaint the inside of the straw is tough to clean and can still retain residual funk (such as spoiled milk) after being ran through the dish washer, etc. We have a small pipe cleaner that works when needed, or just filling the cup with hot soapy water, putting on the lid, shaking and pressing on the straw a little causes the soapy water to come shooting through the straw, cleaning out whatever might be in there.

Overall, an excellent cup. I think we have about 6 of them at this point...
