Eddie Bauer Wood High Chair

Eddie Bauer Wood High Chair, RidgewoodLight weight enough that my 12 month old is able to tip it over. Also, with the repeated cleaning that paint is coming off. I'll need to add another layer of something to protect it so it does not continue to chip. I liked it becuase it was wood and much more attractive that the plastic chairs. It would be much better if they constructed it with more sturdy and heavy wood. My friend has another Eddie Bauer chair that is a lighter color and seems to be a much heavier more solid wood. I wish I'd bought that one.

1.5 years and 2 babies later, this chair is still going strong. Looks nice, easy to clean and very sturdy, I LOVE that the try pushes right against the baby's tummy so no food drops on their lap. The tray is large enough but not cumbersome. You can move it in one hand.

It isn't perfect so it doesn't get 5 stars:

* the straps were easy bit mine never clicked together well, needed some wiggling. That said, with the tray pushed against the tummy there is no possible way the baby could get out, so I didn't mind too much.

*The seat pad falls down a little at the top so it folds behind the baby, my kids didn't care too much.

*The cherry finish looks nice, but has rubbed off in several places but this baby has been used let me tell you. I would go for a lighter color if available, but my husband just refinished it with some touch up stuff from Lowes.

Would absolutely buy it again great product and great price.

I originally choose this chair because it matched my dinning room set so nicely. It seems thus far very durable and my 30 lb 14 month old son is ROUGH on everything. The only reason I gave it four stars and not five is because the removable/washable tray has a major flaw....the baby could pop it out of place super easily! Therefore any food goes flying off with it. My son learned this little trick early on....like at five months. My easy solution was to simply not use the pop off tray. Other than that, I love this highchair.

I bought this chair for my grandbabies. The back on this chair is very straight and the pad does not come up to the top so they are always bumping their heads. The smaller snap on tray is basicly useless because it does not cover the larger tray so food is always getting under it. The only good thing I can say about this hi-chair is that it's pretty.

Goodbyn Bynto Food Container, Pink

Goodbyn Bynto Food Container, PinkOpened this up and found out the lid would not close and seal. May be just a bad batch but sent it back. Once again, Amazon was more than helpful on the return.

I'm giving two stars for its cuteness, but that's really the best thing about it. The lid does not fit well. Actually it won't really even close, so I wouldn't advise putting anything "wet" in it...(fruit, etc). I was looking for something that would hold various snacks for my kids when we go out and since the lid doesn't close it's not suitable for travel.

Buy Goodbyn Bynto Food Container, Pink Now

I have been using this box for about 3 weeks now for my first grader and I love it! It is PLENTY big enough for lunch, more so if you opt not to use their water bottle in the center slot. I had heard the lid on the original Goodbyn was a bit complicated and I also wanted something that would fit in a standard lunch bag so I could keep my sons lunch cold, so I went with the Bynto over the Goodbyn. The lid is very easy for my son to use, though I did have to teach him to press the center sections first, than around the outside edge. It fits great in the Igloo lunch bag I bought, with a separate bottle pocket. The food does not mix and stays perfectly in each section. I plan on getting two more of these for my daughters I love them so much. Its hard to say what all can fit in here, so I will be adding some of my own pictures in the product images section. Great purchase!

I love the idea of this, but I find it difficult to close. It's a great size to store my daughter's lunch, but really not as functional as I would like.

We use it everyday for lunches. My kids love their Bynto boxes. It makes clean up so much easier then when I used several containers of tupperware to put lunches into.

The First Years Take & Toss Infant Section Bowls w/ Lids - 3 Pack. Colors May Vary

The First Years Take & Toss Infant Section Bowls w/ Lids - 3 Pack. Colors May VarySomeone else mentioned the lids not working, but I have used this brand before so I figured I would give them a shot. It is very true, the lids do not work. I bought them to be used to send food to MDO and they are definitely useless since the food would spill all over. It would cost more to ship them back that what I paid for them so they are just going into the recycling bin. :(

I love these bowls. I put a frozen food cube (or two) in one section, some dry cereal in the other, and hit the town. By the time baby's ready to eat, the frozen food has thawed (if not, I just stick the bowl in some hot water). Iadd formula to the cereal, and dinner is served. It's very convent for daycare, as well as for trips to Grandma and Grandpa's.

The only problem is, you'll have to buy more spoons (the pack only comes with one).

My 9 month son goes to daycare twice a week. Since we have been feeding him vegetables for lunch I needed separated bowls with lids. He eats two different vegetables at lunch. I looked at all the retail stores but trying to find ones with lids were very hard.

These were worth the money. Only draw back is it seems like the lids want to come off sometimes from the middle, it secures the food in the compartments but don't let it get flipped upside down because then there is a mess.

These may work as deep divided bowls, but don't even try to travel with them you'll end up with food all over your bag.

Want The First Years Take & Toss Infant Section Bowls w/ Lids - 3 Pack. Colors May Vary Discount?

Anyone who has experience purchasing child feeding products probably knows that Take and Toss is not top of the line. They're made cheaply so that if you need to throw one away, it gets stained, ruined, lost, whatever....it isn't a huge loss. As such, they're also some of the cheapest products on the market.

I needed some divided bowls for my 7 month old who had reached the point of wanting two varieties of food at a time. We make our own baby food, so it wasn't like I had a couple of jars I could just switch between. Additionally, I got tired of trying to balance two bowls and alternate bites. After reviewing prices and reviews, I purchased these.

The short version is....they work as divided bowls. Are they spectacular? No, they're plastic bowls for a baby. Are they trash? Nah, we've had them for a few months and all 4 (there are 4 in the pack, not 3) are still fine. We don't microwave them (you shouldn't microwave a baby's food, or anyone's really, and especially not in a plastic container), we hand wash them, and they work fine.

The little lip around the edge that is suppose to be for the lid to snap in, that part is a little annoying if the food sits for more than a couple of minutes, because a sponge or cloth can't really get in there. However, a bottle brush works fine, as does the sprayer on my kitchen sink. Alternately, rinsing them as soon as you're done solves the problem as well.

The lids are garbage, to be perfectly honest. They do not snap on, and therefore serve no purpose whatsoever....but I knew that from the other reviews, and we did not need the ability to cover the bowls since they were being used in the home.

If you need some divided bowls for an infant or toddler, for in home use, without lids, this product is perfectly fine for that. If you need something to travel with that has a cover, choose something else.

Colic-Calm Homeopathic Gripe Water, 2 Fluid Ounce

Colic-Calm Homeopathic Gripe Water, 2 Fluid OunceWhen i started to realize that the constant crying and sleepless nights with my newborn and first born was not normal i talked to our pediatrician who started treating him for acid reflux (GER). After fighting with our insurance to cover the prescription for Previcid in the first place, the struggle then became trying to get the medicine down. I already had a baby who was not eating/gaining weight and there i was giving him syringe after syringe of water trying to get the "not so soluble" tablet in his system. the whole experience was leaving me uber stressed and feeling like an exhausted failure. I came across the website for colic calm while looking for homeopathic treatments touting to provide acid reflux relief as well as colic. honestly i am not big on the idea of giving my kid something that our pediatrician had not even heard of but with the FDA stamp on it i felt somewhat better about trying it. At first i wouldnt say i was all that convinced but by the end of the week he was sleeping and eating like never before. suddenly the crying seemed managable like i had expected going into parenthood and the fact he was really eating for the first time made me feel a lot better about myself too. my husband was not so sold on giving the credit to the colic calm until we ran out and the delivery from amazon was delayed. 24 hours after his last dose and we were back to being up all night with a screaming baby.

couple things to note from what i read in other reviews. first i was prepared for the staining everyone complained about but really havent had a big problem with it. yes is is messy, and if you drip it directly on something and just leave ityes when you wash the item you will get a faint gray stain but even that is hardly noticable. most of the time even his white onsies dont show a stain. i have yet to see it stain skin. usually i will feed him after ward to wash it out of his mouth. otherwise the charcaol shows up in his drool for a bit.

poop is a hideous color with distinctive specks of charcoal but dont let it alarm you, 24 hours off it and poop goes right back to normal.

use the syringe that comes in the box. give a little bit at a time (takes me about 5 squirts to give him the 1/4 tsp dose) and choking is not an issue. i also point it toward his cheek so that it doesnt just go down his throat gagging him. When i tried an eye dropper type dispenser he gagged it all back out. Now he really doesnt mind getting his dose and even smiles through it.

at this point i am no longer giving him the prevacid and using only about 2 doses a daysometimes more if he gets the hiccups (which go away instantly when you give the colic calm) or he is fussy. one bottle last about 3 weeks.

This product has really seemed to help my 5 week old daughter. She was born fussy but became even more so at about 2 weeks old. I wouldn't say she truly has colic but she never seems satisfied and she does gets extremely fussy in the evenings. She has severe gas and gets the hiccups almost every bottle...those send her over the edge. It does offer immeidate relief of her hiccups.

Sometimes Colic Calm seems to help and sometimes it doesn't. I think when she is truly uncomfortable; it does help. Times that it doesn't help, I think it just may be her personality to be fussy.

One day I ate some leftovers from a resturant and got the worst stomachache so I decided to try some and I had almost immediate relief. I was sold after that. It has a great taste but the color is pretty freaky.

I think this is a good product and I just ordered my second bottle. This is the only FDA approved gripe water, which made me feel more comfortable giving it to her. When I read the ingredients on some of the other gripe waters, I noticed some that aren't exactly safe for babies.

Some of its drawbacks are that it is a terrible color and turns their poop funny colors an stains clothes but being able to relieve some of my baby's discomfort is well worth it.

I used this product for a few days on the recommendation of a friend that swore by it with her children. I also searched the product reviews on Amazon before I purchased it and tried to find all ingredients but couldnt until I got the box. I failed to check each one then because I wanted to relieve the symptoms right away. I have a five week old son that has a touch of colic and it did help with colic symptoms but I did notice that he vomited alot more with this product, slept all day and then all through the night. That's when I became concerned and I decided to check each ingredient and found that "Melissa Officinalis" is sometimes used as a mild sedative. It does state on the box that "sleep may follow naturally after relief". It is a natural ingredient but who wants to give their child a sedative? I suppose if the colic is extreme and you need your child to sleep so that you can sleep also, then this may be the product for you. Otherwise, I would rather have my child awake, alert and just deal with his symptoms as opposed to having him under a sedative. I wrote this review for other parents to be cautious of this. Good luck to all who have to deal with the colic issue!

I have always been a big proponent of natural medicine before chemical meds. I remember briefly reading about Colic Calm online and upon seeing it in CVS, I purchased it promptly, after reading the ingredients of course. It works incredibly great for my daughter and here are just a few super positives about this product:

1) First and foremost--it cures my daughter's reflux and gassiness/fussiness in less than 20 minutes flat each time it is used! My 1 month old daugher developed a bad case of fussiness/crying episodes as well as reflux, which prevented her from breastfeeding succesfully every night. Once Colic Calm was administered, she stops crying right away and is completely better within 20 minutes. You can set a watch on how accuratly and quickly it works! On couple of more severe case occasions, two doses needed to be administered within 30 minutes, as stated in instructions in order for maximum effectiveness, but worked momentarily after the 2nd dose for the remainder of the night and next day. It does help her reflux and she can feed great right after dosage administration. Even more importantly, it LASTS FOR ABOUT 2 DAYS AFTER THE DOSAGE--MEANING NO FUSSINESS/BETTER REFLUX SYMPTOMS/NO GASSINESS FOR 1 TO 2 DAYS AFTER EACH DOSAGE ADMINISTRATION! Also, it makes my daughter's bowel movements more regular--she has been slightly constipated, but after taking Colic Calm, she is good to go, which makes her tummy feel better and eases her discomfort and fusiness in itself!

2) Ingredients are great.

Being of European descent, I am extremely familiar with activated charcoal as a remedy for stomach upset and flatulance, thus I was not surprised that it was in this remedy and, in fact, that was an encouraging fact as I found it to be very helpful as a child growing up in Europe. It works just as great in Colic Calm, in my experience. Yes, it may stain, but would you choose your child feeling better over a stain? I know I would. Furthermore, just putting a bib on a child right before dosage administration helps to prevent staining on clothing. Simple! As for the black color--hey, natural substances have natural coloring--no artificial coloring here, just the way I like it!

Camomile--there are no known indications that this plant is highly allergenic. My whole extended family suffers from severe food allergies, and I have never encountered a camomile allergy, not to say that it doesn't exist, but it is very rare. What is known of chamomile, however, is its effectiveness as a calming herb, and it does just that in Colic Calm--calms the fussiness rather effectively.

Aloe--the wonder plant that helps a variety of stomach remedies as well as making the bowels more regular--very effective ingredient once again.

Melissa--true, it makes the baby more prone to sleepiness, but even more importantly, it makes the baby relaxed and able to fall asleep after an especially fussy episode...why this is bad is beyond me...any parent wishes for their child to sleep well. Also, this is not a drug, it is a homeopathic remedy, which is not the same as being drugged by a mainstream night aid--homeopathic remedies use the like cures like principle and only use a tiny miniscule particle of each remedy in the solution, unlike the chemically produced sleep aids...not even comparable. There are no side effects here either and does not make the baby drowsy, just relaxes the poor little thing so that she can sleep more soundly and not be bothered by reflux/gas/overstimulation etc. An A+ remedy in my book. Parents get more sleep too!

Tastes good, slightly sweet, just enough to entire the baby. My daughter loves the taste. The consistency is thick, which is great as it is not easy to spit up and goes down easier, instead of just sitting in the baby's mouth for a while.

Feces are discolored by it, but not that bad. Don't expect to see an all black stool, unless you give this each day, every day for multiple doses. Otherwise, it is just some specks of black in the stool, not that big of a deal. Since baby becomes more regular on this remedy, you will see more poop, though. One negative is that stool does smell more after multiple dosing given, but, once again, a very mild negative compared to all of the positives!

Now that my daughter is 10 weeks, after many weeks of giving her Colic Calm (since week 2, pretty much), I believe that Colic Calm contributed in a large part to her not having colic anymore and being able to be more regular, less gassy and fussy. Her reflux is also a lot better.

Overall, I highly recommend this magical potion. It works like a charm with no real side effects and makes for a happy baby and even happier parents :)

DHA and ARA Fatty Acid 30 Packets

DHA and ARA Fatty Acid 30 PacketsBreast milk has a plethora of advantages over formula. Until recently, one of these advantages was that it contained DHA and ARA, fatty acids that are important components of brain structure.

Recently, manufacturers have begun adding DHA and ARA to their infant formula. Some studies have indicated that addition of DHA and ARA to formula provides an advantage of 6-7 IQ points over normal formula, nearly as much as the IQ point advantage of breast fed babies.

However, the DHA and ARA added to infant formulas are chemically extracted from certain species of algae and mold using solvents, and are not identical to the DHA and ARA found in breast milk. There have also been reports that the DHA and ARA supplemented formula causes diarrhea in some children. In our daughter, it seemed to cause softer and messier stool, though it wasn't quite diarrhea.

Baby's only DHA and ARA is extracted from egg yolks using a water based process, and thus may avoid some small risk associated with the solvent extracted versions. It's mixed into formula that isn't fortified with DHA and ARA or into other foods. We use it with Baby's Only toddler formula, and it does not cause messy stool with our daughter.

Breast feeding is still better than any formula, of course it has other advantages, such as a protective effect against infections that the formula makers haven't figured out yet. However, if you must formula feed for some reason for us, my wife's pumping at work didn't keep up with the baby's demand, and eventually we also had to stop breast feeding to try to start a second baby mixing Baby's Only DHA and ARA supplement into a nonsupplemented formula is probably the next best thing.

This product is easy to mix into my daughter's milk or yogurt and doesn't seem to upset her stomach. It is a nice alternative to cod liver oil which can really upset a little one's stomach. My only complaint is that when shaking milk to mix it up, it does become quite foamy and takes a while to settle.

Buy DHA and ARA Fatty Acid 30 Packets Now

I've tried many omega products for my son; this is the best so far. Since it's a powder, you can easily mix with any food that your kid loves to eat. I mix with yogurt, applesauce and milk. It's easily mixed and dissolved. I've been using it since my son was 6 months. The best thing is that it's not smelly at all like other omega products, so my son doesn't even notice it in his yogurt. I highly recommend this product.

As another reviewer mentioned, cod liver oil is extremely yucky (no matter how much they try and flavor it) and your little guy or gal will probably not be shy about letting you know. This stuff actually tastes good. I sometimes even mix it in to pumped breast milk for that added kick. The only downside is the price, which is rather high per serving.

love this over the alternative "lifes dha" in pretty much everything. surpised to see multidextrin as an ingredient as this is considered a neurotoxin but would still buy over "lifes dha" anyday.

Green Eats 2 Pack Plates

Green Eats 2 Pack Plates, OrangeI was looking for some plates to use for adults and ordered two of these in yellow. I was disappointed with them. The plates are ugly and awkwardly designed -big, thick, and bulky. They look like very large-sized children's plates, where you would want something indestructible but don't care about attractiveness. If you want an alternative to melamine plates, this is an option, but it won't be attractive.

These are way too big for a toddler. They'd be good for adults camping or picnics but I'd need a snack size for my kiddo. These are bigger than the plates I use for my dinner every night!

I love these plates! My 19 month old daughter has a habit of tossing her plates and bowls when she's done eating and these won't break. Revolution Foods Organic Mashups Fruit & Veggie Smoothie, Blueberry Blitz, 4 - 3.17 oz Pouches,Our kid loves these pouches, but due to another reviewer saying it was for one box of four pouches, the only reason I purchased these was because they were priced at four dollars and change.

When the box arrived from Amazon, I was very pleasantly surprised to find that I paid under five bucks for 4 BOXES of four pouches each (for a total of sixteen pouches). So thank you other reviewer, for driving the price down ;)

I'll definitely buy them again in the future, even back up at the full price. It's certainly a better price than our local Safeway/Raley's has.

My 4 and 6 year old love these, because they are easy to hold, fun to eat and taste good.

I love these because they are mess-free, easy to grab on the go, and healthy. For my picky 4 year old, this is the only way I can get blueberries (or any other blue/purple) food into him.

My kids do need some help getting the last little bit squeezed out, but more likely because of their inability to squeeze and roll up the bottom at the same time than a package designe flaw.

Baby Care Center

Baby Care CenterMy 22 month old girl received this for Christmas and when I first purchased it, I was a bit skeptical of the quality considering it's inexpensive price tag. But when my husband pulled it out of the box and put it together, I was pleasantly surprised at how sturdy it was and at all the cute accessory pieces that come with it...you just can't go wrong with this nursery center. My daughter really loves it and plays with it every day. The little high chair and mobile do come off easily but are also easily reattached. It provides everything a little baby doll needs...a place to sleep (my little one uses it as a changing table too!), a little tub, a feeding area, and lots of accessories. If you're considering buying this, I recommend it. I found it to be sturdy, large enough to provide lots or pretend play yet compact enough to not take up too much room space. Made of pretty pastel colors and fits most dolls up to probably 14 inches.

I just got this yesterday for my daughters 2nd Birthday. You know I have never seen her play with one thing for so long. She loves it, it seems well made also. Very easy to put together. For the one who was wanting the dimensions they are 22 inches at the middle divider.. then 31 inches at the top of the mobile. 26 inches long and 18.5 inches wide. hope that helps.

This is a fantastic toy for the price. The size is just perfect for practicing mommies. It comes with various accessories to add to the child's imagination. The hangers are great practice to hang things up with and we do use to hang other dolls clothing. We have added a few other accessories of our own, like a brush and nasal aspirator, etc. I have allowed my daughter to bathe some of her dolls in the bath with just a little bit of water. The mobile has not stayed on for longer than 2 minutes when my daughter plays with it, but she has found other ways to play with the mobile...not just on the nursery center. Toys don't have to be played with the way WE want them to. My only complaint is the high chair. It is an unusual size and most of my 2 year old's dolls are either too big or too small and she gets frustrated because they are either too hard to put in the high chair or don't stay in. I reccommend this toy and find the price to be fantastic.
