Earth's Best Organic 2nd Apple & Blueberry, 4-Ounce Jars (Pack of 12)

Earth's Best Organic 2nd Apple & Blueberry, 4-Ounce JarsI got the subscription and finally ended it after 7 occasions of broken jars in the delivery. I got tired of cleaning the mess and dealing with broken glass but the product is good even if watery.

My babies love blueberries the most and over time they like pears and apples a lot too. This is a clear winner with them as it has only organic apples, organic blueberries and ascorbic acid. It's a great product.

Be warned that your shipment could arrive sometimes with broken jars. I already said that! Over time I figured out it would cost the vendor too much to package these jars well enough to ensure no breakage. When a case arrived with one or more broken jars, I reported and got credited for the broken ones only. Of course it's messy when a jar is broken.

I feed both my kids Earth's Best brand baby/toddler food when I am unable to prepare food myself. All flavors have a short list of ingredients, good flavor and a nice nutrition profile.

I usually wrap these jars in a ziplock bag with a baby spoon and stash in the diaper bag for wholesome food on the go. I like to feed my toddler what my husband or I eat, but it is great having a back-up if she is really not hip to the entree.

Earths Best is the next best thing to mom's cooking ;)

Off label use:

If you are out of oil when making baked goods, like pumpkin muffins, you can add a jar of complimentary flavored baby food in a pinch and they will still come out moist! Happy accidents are worth sharing!

Quality product. I make a lot of my own baby food, but I don't think I could buy organic apples and blueberries for the same price as this baby food, which makes it a good value in my opinion.

my son was not feeling well (probably with a small cold) and the only thing he would eat is this one. Probably because it is light and easy for stomach. He refused other more rich-favor food but ate the whole jar of this.

This 12 pack is cheaper through subscribe & save than it is buying through the grocery store. I love that it's organic. It tastes and smells wonderful and my twins love it, too! haha. Not one jar was broken and they were shipped in an additional inner carton wrapped securely in a tight sheet of huge bubble wrap (the big kind of bubbles). It took a while to unwrap, but I think it's worth it in order to keep the jars from breaking. My second shipment came and no broken jars on that one either!

green sprouts Collapsible Silicone Steamer/Strainer Bowl, Green

green sprouts Collapsible Silicone Steamer/Strainer Bowl, GreenI steam a lot of foods but also make single-serving pasta for my kids at times. I like this because it is dual purpose, collapses, does not leach chemicals into the food, and is eco-friendly all around. I have two!

This products are fantastic, I wish they had them years ago, the Silicone products I will recommended to anybody, it does not take that much space since it is collapsible, on this product I wish I had bought a bigger one, on the picture it looks big but actual it is smaller than the picture.

***update*** I ended up keeping this item and it turned out to be a great buy! I said it was too small because it didn't hang on the rim of my pots like I expected it to. However, because it is silicone it does sit inside of them. The few veggies in the bottom sometimes come in contact with the boiling water, but it works fabulously once I gave it a try! It steams just the right amount if veggies for my family of three with ease!

I was really excited about this product, but apparently I overlooked the size dimensions of it before I ordered. It is too small to even fit in my smallest saucepan (my pot is 7-7.5" in diameter and the steamer is 6.8"), so I have to return it. I can't rate it on use because I haven't actually been able to try it, but it seems like it would be good if it fits your pot. Wish they had this in a bigger size :(

Although my wife purchased this product I use it as well. She purchased this product about 6-9 months ago. I was personally a little skeptical about the collapsible feature thinking that the seams would wear out within the first month. To my surprise they not only survived the 1st month they are still as good as new and show no signs of wear 6-9 months later!! Hard to say yet if cooking in silicon is safe I guess time will tell...

This strainer is collapsible and for me the space it save is wonderful, I can use it for small quantities and put it in the dishwasher. I love it, love it, love it.

2oz. Baby Cube Containers, 8 pack (PVC & Lead Free)

2oz. Baby Cube Containers, 8 packI like these, but would probably order them in a larger size, such as 4 oz in the future. You can run warm water over them and then pop the frozen cubes into labeled ziplock bags to reuse the containers to make more food.

These containers are great for caring and saving of food and in case if you pack your own lunch. What I love the most: that lids are attached to the container, so you will never search for them. It is very convenient.

These are awesome!

I make big batches of baby food, freeze them in these containers, and they last for weeks in the freezer.

To thaw, I just either take them out & put on the counter, or in the fridge the night before, and/or place them in hot water.

These saved us so much money, because we were able to make all of our own baby food-great product.

FYI: when filling them-leave a little room at the top, so that the food can expand in the freezer.

These cubes are the perfect size for storing and freezing baby food. My baby can eat out of them also.

When empty, they tip over when you open the lid to fill them unless they are sitting in the baby cube tray, otherwise a good product.

That said, we used them very little, because it is easier and healthier to feed him fresh fruits, and freshly cooked veggies when we eat dinner.

Chewing on a pear, banana, apple slice, etc really helps him with his teething too, especially since he does not like pacifiers or teething rings.

JL Childress Belly Bar for Strollers, Black

JL Childress Belly Bar for Strollers, BlackWas using it on my Maclaren and finally gave up. It is clumsy to install, and the cupholders end up on the inside of the stroller, taking up room for my little boy. It slides down too far to be of much use.

I bought this product to go on our umbrella stroller when we took our kids to Universal Studios. Functionally speaking, it was great. It held cups, kept our son in his seat, everything it said it did. We left on a Saturday and returned home on Thursday. Wednesday evening one of the tabs holding the cup holder to the side fell apart, rendering the item useless from that point on. It was a good thing that we were finished our vacation or it would have been very frustrating. I'm not sure what actually caused it, but looking at the side that was still intact it appeared as if the seam holding the vinyl together separated. The other side looks as if it's doing what the first one did, as I see it's splitting from the top and bottom in the seam and only being held by the middle stitching. I'm pretty crafty, so I'll "help" it some so we can try to use it again. Don't expect this product to last you for very long. A child tugging it and pulling on toys attached to it would possibly cause this. My son is 3 and he more or less just sat there not struggling with it, pulling on it, or fighting it. Normal wear and gentle use caused it to fall apart.

I bought this for my Maclaren Quest Sport Stroller, it's actually a very strong belly bar and come with 2 cup holders. I guess the only thing is that you might want to remove it before folding the stroller. (i can't close the stroller all the way when i have the bar on) I only use it when i am going for a long ride...the cup holders are strong to hold a full zippy cup.

I think the belly bar should acually be a bar and not a soft strip. The velcro does not hold it in place, so it just sits on my son's lap which he does not like. I wanted something that he could eat snacks on, turns out, I only needed one of the three parts. I detached one of the cup holders, straped it around his seatbelt between his legs and he digs right in.

Baby Jogger Cooler Bag

Baby Jogger Cooler BagBefore I purchased this item, I was looking for reviews that mentioned using this cooler with a City Mini Double stroller (to see if it would be compatible with ours):

Some people have described having the cooler (full of items) attached to the stroller and being able to fold the stroller without problems... some reviews said it doesn't attach to double strollers....

so I wasn't sure what to expect by some of the confusing/conflicting reviews I had read, but decided to try it out for myself.

It does attach to our stroller (City Mini Double) and we can fold stroller with cooler attached, BUT the cooler has to be empty, since where it attaches (the most secure place on this stroller is the second cross bar) it has to be able to collapse the cooler, to be able to fold the stroller flat.

This is not a big problem, but it means that I have to remember to empty the cooler first before I can fold/load it into the car (just a little hassle) or if we are taking the stroller for a Disney trip (for example), and bringing things to go in this cooler, I have to store them someplace else during our car trip there (i.e. separate cooler). You may think why not just take this cooler off then instead of using two coolers, but taking this one off/on is more of a hassle, and I wouldn't want to fool with it in a parking lot. I really didn't want to get that lengthy, but I wanted to describe actual use for anyone that has this stroller (so they could picture how it would actually be). All-in-all, (little hassels and all) I am so glad we got it, because this looks sleek, gives us a little more space for storage on our stroller, and is a way to keep drinks from getting hot in the summer (especially on long days out where drinks would be hot in an hour otherwise).

Other notes about the cooler:

Description says it can hold a 6 pack of 12oz cans, this is true (but without ANY extra space for an ice pack, etc)which means it will hold less if you want to put an ice pack (so this is pretty small).

Best feature I LOVE about this cooler, is that it attaches low on the stroller (for two reasons):

It is out of the way, not in the way of my feet when walking, but also not taking up space in the under basket (allowing more cargo there) AND most importantly since it is low, it will not make the stroller tippy.

For those that have a single stroller, I would imagine this would attach to the lowest bar on the stroller, allowing you to fold it full (and be out of the way)which would make this cooler even better. Hope this helps anyone else that has a double stroller and is confused by the conflicting reviews.

Used this for a recent trip to Disney. Worked great on the stroller. We were able to put 3-4 regular bottles of water or sippy cup combo in and still be able to fold the stroller easily. My husband at first thought this was a strange item when I bought it but it really comes in handy and is so unobtrusive you can easily just keep it there for when you need it.

Just came back from Disney trip. It's a great product especially when it's a 100 degrees outside. I am not sure if you can fit six 12oz bottle... I've used it for baby food (3 or 4 jars)I would also recommend to use ice packs. Worked great!!! Stroller folds with no problem!!!

I keep joking that we've spent a fortune pimping out our stroller, but this was a must have for long days out. Keeps healthy snacks like fruits and veggies cold. And don't forget a bottle of water for mom.

It's about the size of a six-pack and doesn't make the stroller (we have a city mini) any bulkier when we fold it up.

Want Baby Jogger Cooler Bag Discount?

I have a City Mini Double and I have to say that it does not affect how flat the stroller folds! My husband loves it because we are always outside with the neighbors and he does not have to go back inside to get a cold drink. It will be great for when we go on trips too. We use this product every day and absolutely LOVE it!

Green Eats 4 Pack Snack Bowl, Yellow

Green Eats 4 Pack Snack Bowl, YellowI like that this company is making safer plastic dinnerware for children. It is a step up. However, no one is thinking about what the plastic is made out of aside from BPA, phthalates, melamine, PVC, or other known harmful synthetics. These are just some that have been brought out into the open, there are likely more that haven't been tested yet. There is one obvious problem with this plastic that everyone is overlooking (the rage is all about BPA mainly right now), and that is the fact that the main ingredient to make this plastic is petroleum. I'm not convinced that these are "green" dishes being that #2 plastic does not break down in the environment and petroleum...well I can't imagine eating food off of solidified/modified petroleum. Not to mention the other synthetics that have yet to be mentioned. #2 plastic is considered one of the safest plastics, but considered doesn't mean guaranteed safe. There are better options out there (especially for the current high price of these!). Stainless steel and tempered glass dinnerware for kids are alternatives to plastic. Stainless steel might be a better bet for very young children since even tempered glass can break if impacted hard enough. Plastic is plastic, some are better than others, but all plastic has its hazards. Let's face it, we wouldn't be looking at "Green Eats" dishware if we weren't concerned about what our children are eating off of.

Happy Tot Toddler Meal Bowls, Super Beefy Pasta, 6-Ounce Package

Happy Tot Toddler Meal Bowls, Super Beefy Pasta, 6-Ounce PackageWith the cost, you would think you're getting more than 1 package. Please DO NOT buy this product. You can buy the same line at Target for $2.99. This item is not eligible for return either. I am very aggrevated. Love the "Happy" line of products, but would never order from here again!

I did not read the reviews first and did not realize you only got one tiny bowl for $10. I didn't think to read the finer print because it is so obviously crazy to charge that much for one package! This is obviously some sort of scam.

My toddler loves this meal. He loves the taste and eats every drop every time. I'm not much of a cook so perhaps he is happy just to eat decent food! but he is. And he loves all of the happytot meals equally. Thrilled for these products because I love the ingredients and the easy preparation. Easy to pack for him in pre-K. Thank goodness someone else does a decent job of feeding my boy; my heart's in the right place, I just stink in the kitchen! God Bless Happy Tot!

My son really enjoys these toddler meal bowls. They are really tasty & the chunks of pasta in it are great as a finger food for him to feed himself. These are perfect to have when traveling. I also always bring one with me when we go out to eat at a restaurant so I know he is having a nutritious & organic meal instead of feeding him the junk from the restaurant..

Biskys Mess Saver Bib

Biskys Mess Saver Bib, BlueThis worked great for my grandson. I can be the "good" Grandma by not yelling at him for making a mess! (Then I send him home!!) Hehe! It works just like they say, and I don't have a big clean up after the meal. I work in a nursing home and think these should come in larger sizes for the patients there because they wipe clean so easily.

Moby Wrap Baby Carrier Designs

Moby Wrap Baby Carrier - KoiI've had a Moby wrap since my daughter was born in Dec. of '09. She was a very tiny baby and I loved that I could put her in it all snuggled up just like she used to be when I was still pregnant with her. Since then, I've carried her in it to the store, the mall, the Zoo, brother's t-ball games, Easter Egg hunts, you name it. She was being a fussy pants yesterday so I just put her in it and she was instantly calm. At almost 14 lbs, she's not that heavy, but carry her around for a while and your back will feel it! Not with the Moby. The weight is disributed so evenly you really feel so comfy carrying a baby around. There are so many holds. I've used almost all of them including the breastfeeding hold! I haven't used any of the holds for back carrying yet because she's not quite ready. I just used the sling carry yesterday at WalMart and loved how easy it was to get her in and out for a quick run in. Just put your Moby on before you leave the house and stick your baby in when you arrive at your destination. I recommend getting a neutral or dark color if you're gonna be out and about with it. I bought pink first And felt a little conspicuous in public. Then I bought black and I guess if I don't have her in it people just think it's some kind of new trend! I truly couldn't live without my Moby! It's a wonderful way to bond with your baby!

My little one needed to be held for pretty much the first 2 months of her life. I tried using my Ergo carrier with the insert to regain freedom with my hands and arms, but it's just too hot in the summer to wear. In desperation I bought the Moby because of all the possible baby positions it boasted. I figured my daughter would at least like one of them. The first time I put her in the wrap, she calmed right down. Now at 4 months she calms at the sight of the wrap and falls asleep within seconds of getting in. The Moby wrap is like having an "off switch" for my little one and has become a part of our bedtime routine. I also love the owl print!

The Moby wrap is a great way to hold your baby and still get things done. There's something comforting for both Mom (or Dad!) and baby about being so close. The Moby came in especially handy when we were out and about at places where the stroller wasn't an option. I found that even when I could bring the stroller it was easier to wrap my son up and carry him with me.

It worked great until my son got to be about 18 pounds, then the stretchiness of the fabric meant he'd start to droop after a while and wasn't as comfortable to carry. At that point we moved to a soft structured ergonomic carrier. Until then, though, I couldn't live without it!

I absolutely recommend this wrap for any new mom! This is one of my favorite baby items.

What I like:

Fussy baby will calm almost instantly when placed in wrap

Soft, washable fabric

Attractive designs

Fairly easy to use, takes a little bit of practice getting baby in and out especially when they can't hold their head up on their own.

Comfortable to wear

Fits all sizes of people and no pesky straps to adjust

Great for grocery shopping when you need your hands free

Great for very young babies because of the soft fabric

Versatile: can go from newborn to larger babies easily

Dislike:

Hot to wear in warmer weather

Slightly burdensome to put on when you're out since its such a large piece of fabric

Want Moby Wrap Baby Carrier Designs Discount?

I wanted to love this. I read all the attachment parenting advice on how this is more comfortable and safer for babies than other carriers, and bought it before my daughter was born thinking I'd be a master baby wearer and prefer this beautifully personalized responsible wrap to all other carriers. I was wrong.

While we did find a carrier to be one of the best tools we had to calm down a colicky baby, the Moby Wrap was not The One. We tried the Moby Wrap, the BABYBJÖRN Baby Carrier Synergy Black, Mesh (which I wanted to find fault with but ended up loving), and a Peanut Shell Boho Chic Paisley Baby Sling, Blue/Brown, Large. The Bjorn is by far our favorite and the only one we still use at 6 months. Our daughter seems really comfortable in it and often falls asleep. Despite what baby wearing 'experts' say, I believe that if a baby is uncomfortable he or she will not hesitate to let you know. My baby screamed more when I tried to insert her into the Moby Wrap than the Bjorn.

The biggest advantage to the Moby Wrap is that you can use it before your baby hits 8 pounds (I think that's the minimum for the Bjorn, although we mistakenly thought it was 10 pounds so have lots of pre-Bjorn experience). Surprisingly, we found the sling (our only post-birth purchase) was the best option during the tiny baby phase. At first I was terrified of using a sling incorrectly and permanently damaging my child, but it was actually super easy.

The thing is, you'll most want to use a baby carrier when your baby is feeling fussy and wants to be close to you. However, that's exactly when you WON'T have time to tie and adjust a Moby Wrap. If you're thinking of buying the Moby wrap and haven't given birth yet, I strongly advise holding off until you've actually experienced the stress of hearing your baby scream for you to pick her up and not being able to help her; you won't know if you have what it takes to struggle under biological pressure to tie knots in an 8 foot long piece of fabric and stuff your newborn into it until you hear your own baby's cry. This is why I know lots of first time moms who bought Moby wraps, and have never actually seen any of them using one.

That all said, it's beautiful and cozy and the truly brave/dedicated will probably master it and love it for all the reasons I thought I would!
