The cap on my water bottle won't close properly so it leaks. I was hoping my kindergartener would be able to take this water bottle to school, but it's pretty useless. The other pieces are fine and seem to be holding up in the dishwasher.Great combo for school lunch! Happy Baby Organic Puffs, 2.1 Ounce Containers (Pack of 6)
1) They're organic. I don't know how many pesticide molecules are finding their way into a box of Cheerios, but my guess is not many! Still, I like that these are organic. Every little bit helps, right?
2) They dissolve very quickly so there's never any fear of choking no matter how many he stuffs in at once.
3) The container is more convenient that a box of cereal.
4) Like I said before, my son really enjoys these.
In terms of health value, I find them to be similar to Cheerios. If you adjust for the weight or volume differences, comparing the nutritional information shows that the Cheerios have more vitamins and fiber, but also more sugar and sodium. Though none of these amounts are really significant concerns to me. For example, a half cup of Cheerios has .7g of Sugar while the HB Puffs have 0.
Now for the one negative--the real kicker--and the reason why I am giving this very good product just 4 stars. Purchasing these from Amazon (6-pack, as of July 20, 2011) will cost you about $1.47/ounce. Purchasing a 14oz box of Cheerios from Amazon on the other hand is just 21 cents/oz. The HB Organic puffs are 7X more expensive! (And of course, getting a 19lb box at Costco changes the equation further). But unless you're giving your kid a ton of these, or you're feeding multiple kids, the price difference probably isn't a deal breaker.
In conclusion, I'd try them both and see which your little sprout goes for. Can't really go wrong in either case.My 8 mo. old simply LOVES this stuff! It was his 1st official "finger food" so I think it's a combo of, "I can do it myself" plus it tastes good, and dissolves easy in the mouthwhich is kind of important when you only have 6 teeth! Only other mom-comment here is that I wish they had a little MORE greens in it, as it's not even close to green in color, like they just waved some greens over the bowl when making it. Someone ought to sell this stuff in a mixed case...we go thru about one container every few days.

My one year old has loved these since she first started crawling, they're perfect for on the go snacks. The only problem is the packaging. The puffs get stale quickly and the lid on the container pops open easily, so I've had them spill all over my diaper bag and the floor. So I had to tape the lid shut, and eventually transferred them to another container. But the puffs themselves are great, if she likes them who cares if they taste like nothing to me!Read Best Reviews of Happy Baby Organic Puffs, 2.1 Ounce Containers (Pack of 6) Here
I try to buy organic when I can. These puffs received great reviews, and advertise their low sugar content. The "Greens" flavor made me think that... they will taste like greens! It seemed like a great find.Greens-
Well, there might be "greens" in these puffs but you sure can't taste any of it.
What do they taste like?
They taste sweetan outer coating of sweetness, followed by a rice puff flavor. I do not agree with another reviewer who says that they are "just like Cheerios".
Sugar content-
They might have only 0.5g of sugar per serving, but compared with Cheerios this is still double the sugar (those have 1 in 28g). Not that Cheerios are the measure for all baby snacks, and they are certainly not organic, but they are at least not sweet tasting.
Packaging-
You will receive a box with six plastic dispensers similar to the ones you get for wipes. Each container contains 2.1 oz (60 g) of rice puffs. The containers are so light you could think they are empty. The packaging is complete overkill.
No wonder babies may like thesethey taste sweet!

Between 7 and 8 months I started my baby on Cheerios, until I found Puffs. They truly melt in his mouth and the nutritional value exceeds Cheerios. He would sit and eat Puffs all day if I let him. The banana does not have much flavor, but I also bought the apple and it have more flavor. Either way, the baby loves them the same.Nipple Cream
It spreads very well and it has multiple uses as well. I pair it with Aveeno baby lotion (Motherlove Nipple Cream + FREE Aveeno Baby Daily Moisture Lotion Fragrance Free 8 oz.) on my baby's bottom to combat diaper rash. It helps better than most diaper rash products we've tried! It's very smooth and easy to apply. I hear it works well as a face moisturizer too but I haven't tried that yet.I tried this and the Earth Mama Angel Baby nipple butter--putting one on each nipple several times a day to compare both pre and postnatally. EMAB made my nipple really sensitive--so sensitive, that when my daughter nursed, I actally cried out in pain after several feedings! I switched to using Motherlove on both nipples, and the difference was prettymuch immediate. An hour after putting it on, she fed again, and there was no pain!
There have also been many times where I have neglected to put it on after several feedings in a row, and my nipples have gotten sore. as soon as I put it on again, it soothes the discomfort, and within an hour, I am back to almost no discomfort.
It smells faintly of olive oil (its first ingredient), and goes on really smoothly--it does not hurt when spread over sore nipples, and you don't need a lot (my daughter is 2 1/2 months old, and I'm *maybe* 1/4 of the way through the pot). Yes, it's small--a little bigger than a pot of Carmex--but it is SO WORTH THE MONEY! This is a staple for me when gifting for baby-showers! If you end up not breastfeeding, or have some leftover when you finish breastfeeding, you can use it as a diaper rash ointment or on baby acne. It will not be wasted! Also works well for a lip balm :c)This stuff is amazing. I used 3 or 4 different nipple creams with my previous baby 2 years ago and had months of cracked sore nipples and never really liked any of those products. Lansinoh is commonly recommended but it is too thick and kind of sticky and always felt like I was dragging it across my poor pained skin. This motherlove cream is much thinner and melts almost immediately into almost an oil, but an oil that doesn't wipe off easily. Anyway, I bought it based on the reviews on here and I am so glad I gave it a try, I will never use anything else. I also use it before pumping and it really helps. I also tried it on my baby's dry peeling skin and it worked better than anything else I had in the house.I read all of the reviews for this product and thought that it would be the answer to my sore / cracked nipples. While it doesn't hurt when you put it on and it does spread easier than lanolin, it allows my nipples to dry out and essentially rubs off on my nursing pads. When I go to pump / nurse again, my nipples are dry and cracked, so I have had to revert back to lanolin as it seems to be the only product out there that doesn't do more harm than good.I was first exposed to this product in the hospital after giving birth to my son. I exclusively breastfeed, and needed a nipple cream to help relieve the dryness and soreness. I love this stuff because it smells good and my son doesn't seem to mind it (and I like that it's organic). However, I give it a 4 because if your nipples are cracked and need some serious help, something with Lanolin is more effective...but also smells a bit yucky and it super thick.

Okkatots Baby Depot Diaper Bag Backpack ~ Choose Color
Here is what I have crammed in this bag as we speak. 15 diapers, package of wipes, six assorted tubes of makes up (lipstick, mascara, etc), giant wallet, gum, long sleeve outfits for my 2 month old, two year old, and three year old, one each, lotion, pacifier wipes, 2 pacis, two coloring books, two packs of crayons, 2 board books, two story books, 2 drinking cups for the older ones (open top), sunglasses, 15 disposable bibs, small first aid kit, comb, hair accessories, hand sanitizer, bottle of lotion, travel bottle of 409, 10 disposable changing pads, big changing pad (came with bag), empty bag for dirty laundry, and my nook. There is still some spare room in the top for a baby toy or stuffed animal. It also holds up to six 8 ounce bottles. Or, for me, four bottles with an ice pack. I have to take the ice because it's breastmilk, otherwise I could probably just cram my Dr Pepper in there, too. Best of all this stuff is all organized, and I can put my hands on it without taking anything out of the bag. I am prepared for an afternoon away, no matter what.
There are two small things I can nitpick, in case the designers read this. It doesn't affect my 5 star rating, though. There is some wasted space in the top of the bag. I can set a stuffed animal on it, but it would fall out when I opened the bag to change the baby. If there were some kind of stuffable pouch, this might solve it. Second, the DVD front panel could be a bit more versatile. It is pretty flat, only big enough for a dvd player, and not even big enough for my wallet. However, I've got 2 small coloring books and 2 8-packs of crayons in there, so it is certainly not useless.
The bonus feature for me is the padded front pocket. It is the perfect size for my nook in its neoprene slip cover thingie. It's one of those things I don't always carry with me, because I don't feel it's protected in a diaper bag, but this pocket seems designed for something like this. I also like the elastic mesh pocket on the straps perfect for my van keys. The outside elastic pockets are also tight enough that you can actually use them without something falling out. The bag also looks super easy to clean just wipe it down.
I can't recommend this bag enough, especially if you've got several small kids. Mine are all 3 and under, so we need stuff. Lots of stuff. I definitely couldn't fill this for one child, but if you travel a lot, it would be great for the baby's stuff. The organization in this bag is AMAZING. There is a pocket for everything! I can fit four 8oz bottles in the bottle holder. Love, love, love all the zippered and mesh pockets inside. We make our own baby food and found that our old diaper bag did not have enough room to carry all our regular items plus a few small bowls. I often found myself carrying the diaper bag, a cooler and my purse, plus a baby. I can fit my cooler inside this bag plus my wallet in the DVD pocket without any problems plus all the toys and blankets we need for a day away. It opens very wide, so no more digging blindly into the bottom of the bag. We can pack for a long day away all in one bag. This would be great for multiple children, or for the parents who like to over pack.
This bag was a little taller than I expected. It's a little large on my 5'2 frame. But, the bag itself is very light weight. Straps are well padded. Stroller straps work great. Amazing diaper bag! Well worth the price!

I've been looking for a Backpack Diaper bag for awhile but nothing was nearly as good at this. I wouldn't use it for every day as it is HUGE but for air travel it is AMAZING! Just be careful not to overstuff it as I did have a hard time getting it into the overhead of a small plane and under a seat on a big plane. I love how organized it is with MANY pockets so you can customize what goes where. I have a 6 month old and know I will be able to use this bag for years to come. What did I get into mine? 14 diapers, a 40 ct wipes packet, 14 packetes of 4 oz formula, a formula dispenser (we were traveling in winter and wanted to be prepared if god-for-bid we were stranded!), 4 burp cloths, 5 bibs, 3 extra outfits for baby, tissues, washcloth, pacifiers, 2 receiving blankets, baggies, multiple toys, 4-9 oz bottles in the cooler pocket, a 16 oz water, my quart sized baggie full of liquids (tylenon, hand sanitizer, lip gloss, etc)and I used the right-side pockete as a "Mommy Pocket" for my wallet, snacks, chargers, etc. And i"m sure I've forgotten a few things too.
I do have a couple things I'd change:
1. Better zipper pulls. One of mine came off after the first use.
2. I want 2 zipper pulls on each pocket. You know when you stuff a pocket full and it's much easier to
close when you can zip from both sides? Well, only the big pocket has 2 pulls, none of the small ones
do.
3. More colors please. This is a pretty red but how about basic black or brown?

I'm a father of two small children and needed a durable bag to accomodate the things they need. I looked for bags that could handle sippy cups, bottles, formula, diapers, wipes, extra clothes, toys, coloring books, etc.
I decided on the Grey-colored Okkatots bag and felt that it would meet my needs.
The bag arrived today and I was struck by a few things:
1) The exterior material is very durable (Great!)
2) There are indeed lots of pockets (Good!)
3) The workmanship is poor and quality control wasn't paying attention (Terrible!)
4) Customer service (which I called immediately) was non-existent (Awful!)
My short video review shows three examples of the sub-par workmanship, particularly the stitching. I'm picky about these things because this bag was over $100 (at the time of purchase) and warrants better quality.
I do not feel that the bag would last given the number of times I'd use it.
I'm disappointed in the bag, will return it immediately, and will not recommend it to my friends.
Pros:
Durable materials on the shell of the bag
Multiple pockets, including 2x outside cup pockets
Large, thermo-insulated pocket
Cons:
The Customer Service phone number (1-888-988-6552 / 1-888-988-OKKA) was busy for hours at a time (I never got an answer)
Poor stitching in many places
Poor alignment of some pockets, including the one for the DVD Player
Single zipper openings (instead of double zippers for added convenience)

In search of the perfect baby travel backpack, I've looked at, and returned, quite a few. This one arrived today, and I am just amazed at how much stuff I could easily fit into it. It holds EVERYTHING I could possibly want to take on board the plane with me and my one-year-old (including a dozen little toys, a couple of bottles, changes of clothes for both of us, all the diapering gear, PLUS my laptop computer, my iPod, my PDA, my external hard drive, my phone, my camera... you get the idea). It also has two straps on the top that allow me to hang it from the handles of my stroller if I don't want to carry it (as long as my baby is in the stroller to counter-balance the weight). The materials and construction look very sturdy. The included changing pad is nice and large. I can't really see anything to criticize about this bag, except maybe to wish it had a waist strap to put the weight more on my hips rather than my shoulders. But, all in all, this is a very impressive piece of carry-on luggage!Mother-Ease One-Size Cloth Diaper
I have noticed that the stay-dry fabric is WAY more absorbent than the regular cotton, so I definitely recommend that. I finally broke down and decided to try the Air Flow covers and they are very nice. They don't come in jazzy prints but they are very soft and fit the diaper really well. I also like Gen-Y covers which are constructed in a very similar manner and come in darling prints.I ordered one of these fitted diapers, a cover, and the extra liner to try on my 9-month-old son. We only have one, so I don't get to use it often, but I like it, and I'm looking to buy more. So far we haven't even come near leaking. I think this diaper could absorb several pees before it would really need to be changed. If you're looking for an easy cloth diaper, and you don't mind the big butt look. I recommend this diaper.

I've been slowly buying these as I get extra money saved up. These are amazing diapers! They look really big at first but fit wonderful. I love the way they feel and my son doesn't get near as wet as he did with plain prefolds.
We use these with Kawaii covers and it makes for a pretty inexpensive diapering system.
My Husband is always digging through the clean laundry trying to find another as he prefers these over the Kissaluvs we have as well.
I like how thick they are and we often allow our toddler to wear them without a cover with no worry of leaks for at least 2 hours.
Well made, and affordable! This is by far the best product out there for your cloth diapering needs. This particular diaper is a one size fits all and I was able to get it to fit my youngest son who is 8lbs and also my older son who is 23lbs. The diapers will last all the way until we are ready for potty training and that makes me so happy.I bought these to try and solve my nighttime leaking issues. We had been using prefolds and hemp soakers with Bummies covers for the night. But my son tends to roll slightly onto his side when he sleeps and he would leak out the sides. I'm happy to say that these have so far completely eliminated the side leaking. I do still have to add an extra hemp soaker for the night. The diaper itself is very soft and well-shaped, fitting closely around the legs without pinching. Just hoping that they'll adjust well as he grows.

I actually really like the feel of the spoon, the ergonomic curve, the bowl of the spoon. The only problem is the way it is put together makes it so you can't/shouldn't use it. The bowl of the spoon is a separate plastic piece from the handle. As far as I can tell, you can't remove it, but it almost looks like you can. There are crevices that food collects in and you can't easily (if at all) get it out. Obviously I won't be using them to spoon more food into my daughter's mouth. Too bad, b/c other than this, I like the spoon.Read Best Reviews of green sprouts 2 Pack Silicone Feeding Spoon Here
This spoon cannot be washed throughly and that's the major problem on this spoon. The problem is on how this spoon is made... Basically this spoon is consist of 2 parts; the bowl part and the handle part. The handle part has a space and the bowl part is pushed in to the space to click. no glue there. I think you pull them really hard, these two parts can come off. I read some reviews here that this connection gets mold. I could imagine that there is some gap between the bowl and the handle. but i figured that if I throw them in a dishwasher, it won't be a problem since it uses high heat to kill some bacterias and such. I kinda guessed that these people probably hand washed them, so the spoons couldndt get dried properly, therefore causing the molds. So, now I throw them in a dishwasher, it did seem that it cleaned... till you look into the gap or the connection. It is impossible to get rid of the food residues in the connections... there is no way the dish washer can get rid of them. Even if you hand wash them, it is pretty much impossible to get rid of all the foods in there unless you use a tooth pick and taking 30 min for each spoon... impractical. For the best result, you probably need to hand wash them using tooth pick (to get rid of the foods in the gap), and them throw them in a dishwasher to completely dry. ummm no thanks to me. Another note that I should mention is that, this edge of the spoon is rather on the sharp side and not really round. You can feel on your finger and you can feel on your face if you try to scoop the food as if you do it on your baby's face. It is not that sharp to scratch baby's face or anything, but it might not be comfortable or gentle. Anything good about this spoon? I'll say the size of the bowl is great. It is not as wide as the other spoons out there. That was the main reason I got this spoon. and the material of the spoon is great. It's just that I don't know how I can maintain this clean for my baby... Do I buy this again? definitely not. I'll look for a solid one piece spoon. These spoons are a good size with a silicone tip. My son likes to chew on it as much as he likes eating with it. Good size for little mouths.Philips Avent 10 Pack BPA Free Breast Milk Storage Starter Set, Clear, 6 Ounce
With the second child, now 4 months old, I had more milk to freeze than bottles. So instead of buying more bottles, I tried these. I will use them for the 3 allowed times, then I am going back to buying regular bottles as needed.
Downfalls:
-Hard to know if they are sealed, but not had issues with spilled milk since I only transport the milk when frozen.
-Can only be used 3 times; if you have lots of bottles, it's hard to keep track of this.
-Lids are not sold separately I have already cracked one.
-You still need a collar for the adapter to work as a bottle; the kit doesn't come with collars. You can't buy the collars separately.
-Measurements on the side are very faint and hard to read.
-If you fill them to the 6oz/8oz mark, there is not much room for expansion when the milk freezes. I only fill to 5oz or 7oz respectively for fear of explosion in my freezer.
-The regular 9oz bottles actually use less room for me in the freezer. I have found that a regular soda can rack works well in the freezer with the 9oz bottles. (freeze them upright first and then store them sideways in the rack easy to keep track of which milk is the oldest)
The only plus I have found to this, is that with the Medela/Avent converter, I will be able to pump into a sterile disposable bottle while traveling with my infant. Then I can feed her the bottle while in her car seat, eliminating long stops to feed. I have done this with the regular bottles, but then had to deal with storing empty bottles while traveling.I made the mistake of purchasing several of the Via containers. My intention was to use them for freezing breastmilk rather than dealing with the slippery bags. They stack nicely, but that's where the pros end. They leaked constantly in my diaper bag, no matter how many times I tried re-screwing the lids. Using the adapter to insert an Avent nipple also resulted in a leaking mess. But, most importantly, after more than a few weeks in the freezer, the fat in the breastmilk in the containers began to break down faster into the "soapy smelling" lipids. This is common occurence in frozen breastmilk, but the smell and taste (yes, I tasted it to make sure it wasn't soured) was much worse than breastmilk that had been frozen the same duration in a Gerber SealnGo bag. Bottom line: Bags are easier; they are pre-sterilized and result in less surface area for air to get trapped in to cause milk fat breakdown. I love all of the other Avent products though( bottles, nipples, training cups/spouts).

That they work so well with bottle accessories and cups stuff later on.
They tack nice and don't take up too much room.
Fit right onto the Avent pump.
Store nice and works well for freezing.
Great stackability.
Easy to write on in pencil and erase (to know which batch comes first).
Hate
They were hard to screw on (the flat tops to the bottoms and many times were on crooked).
Leaked too much milk (and as any BFing mother knows... losing milk is well like losing money).I use the Avent storage containers and I used to have problems with leaking. Two tips and you won't have that problem.
1) DO NOT OVERFILL THE CONTAINER. The tick marks go up to 7 ounces, but don't put any more than 6 in there (which is what they are advertised to hold). Any more than that and the milk gets into the seal.
2) Don't squeeze the container as you screw on the lid. The best way to attach the lid is to put the container on your counter and then screw the lid. Don't hold the container or squeeze it at all if you do, it misaligns the top.
My only complaint is that they are expensive and I'm storing a lot, so I need them in bulk.

I have 2 children and I am a HUGE fan of Avent products. After struggling with the storage bags with my first pregnancy, I was thrilled to read about these containers while I was pregnant with my second child. I immediately purchased them. They have been awful. When I shake them after warming, or when I am feeding my baby, the milk leaks through the seal. I am afraid to use them even just to freeze milk because I am concerned that if the milk leaks when you use them for warming or feeding, then how can it keep my stored milk fresh? I was so disappointed. I went back to using the storage bags and the regular bottles to store milk.I have read customer complaints about the Avent bottles leaking too. When I originally began using them, I had the same problem. I called Avent and they informed me that you can make the bottle too tight. So after making the adjustment they described, I never had a leaking problem again. This was NOT TRUE for these disposable containers. No matter what I did I could not get them to work. Keep buying Avent products just not this one.

These little doo-dads are super! My little boy loves to try to feed himself. We'll give him one of these to hold on to while we actually get some food in his mouth then we let him practice with his dipper. He's only 7 months old, so we put the food on for him and then he attempts to get it in his mouth. He has much more success with these than with a regular baby spoon. The mill is handy, especially when out at a restaurant. We don't have the tote, but we keep ours in a plastic baggie. After using it, we just pop it back into the baggie and wash it at home (which is a breeze).
The food that is ground isn't super smooth. It's more like the No.2 and 3 baby jar food. For dinner, we might have chicken, brown rice, and veggies. I just take a little of each, and I have the baby's dinner ready in minutes, without having to get up!
If you buy this, I can guarantee you'll love it. This is a great price for it, too, AND you get the tote. The food mill is very handy. I didn't bother using it with my first two kids (I'd received one as a hand-me-down from a friend). It seemed to be too much hassle. In fact, it's really simple. I use it daily with my third child and wish I'd experimented with it a few years ago. Our pediatrician encourages us to give our child what we eat, not to depend on Gerber or Beech Nut too much. The problem is that it's difficult to mash (with a spoon or fork) foods like banana, avocado, potato, small curd cottage cheese and other soft foods to the consistency that my child will eat (super smooth). This food grinder does that for you. It is really easy to clean and simple to tote around. I'll even mill several foods during one sitting, cleaning it between food types it's that easy to take apart, clean and reassemble.
In response to other reviews on this site, you can put cooked chicken into it, or crisp apple, but these won't become as smooth as yogurt. For that, you'd have to add water to the chicken, possibly add some other blending agent like potato, and use an electric blender. For apple or carrots, you'd need to cook it before you could put it into the mill and it would become smooth (like applesauce). Milling foods like corn and peas will probably result in some residual solid bits (the skin of the pea or kernel). To completely rid the food of that, you'd have to use a seive; even an electric blender would yield some solid bits.
This product is probably most useful for children between the ages of 6 months and 1 year.

My son was 7 months old when I got this food mill. I felt that this might be just another extra but I wanted to try it since my pediatrician recommended getting a food mill. It has worked out great so far. For example, last night I went to a family function. I selected chicken casserole, green beans, and potatoes to put in the food mill. I was able to feed my son easily and also clean up quickly by just putting the food mill back into the tote to wash later. I use it in restaurants and also at home. I am very pleased with Kidco products so far and the reviews on their other products are consistently positive.
